0:35 day and I was one of them it's my second

0:38 channel daily Vlog channel it's my dad

0:44 you ever been in Mo's Market before I

0:46 have it's uh it's almost quite it's

0:48 quite the experience I actually came

0:50 down here many many times every Sunday

0:52 morning and bought a newspaper for years

0:54 and years and uh would uh take the

0:56 newspaper back to the office at the

0:58 church so you have memories of this and

0:59 I do too because I lived probably about

1:01 a block and a half from here for a very

1:03 long time and as the Sun starts to

1:06 set this place changes just a tad bit

1:11 the clientele the demographic of people

1:14 who attend the entryway to Mo's Market

1:18 starts to change a little bit it's the

1:20 daily woo going to stop off here at what

1:22 used to be the Veterans Memorial Library

1:25 and now currently it is the St Cloud

1:28 Heritage Museum my family and I moved

1:29 moved here in 1991 so St Cloud is kind

1:33 of my hometown I lived here for 25 years

1:35 before I moved to California and now I'm

1:37 back visiting and there's a lot of

1:38 history in downtown St Cloud and this

1:40 museum has a lot of stuff a lot of

1:43 people don't know about like a lot of

1:44 old towns they used to have trains

1:46 running through them St Cloud no longer

1:48 has a train but they used to have a

1:50 Sugar Mill and a train that went by the

1:52 Sugar Mill that went up to CMI Florida

1:54 all through Oola County and here's a

1:56 model of what it used to look like

1:58 here's a photo of downtown St Cloud way

2:00 back in the old timey days in fact

2:02 here's another photo dated

2:05 1926 that is 10th Street looking West in

2:08 10th Street looking East and it's kind

2:10 of like a panoramic I didn't realize

2:12 they had panoramic in 1926 but evidently

2:16 they did and this is a model of the

2:18 sacloud water tower which back in the

2:20 day used to have a cross on the top of

2:22 it but in 1989 according to this article

2:25 they took the cross down you can see the

2:27 worker taking the Cross down but when we

2:29 move moved here it had the cross

2:31 remember when it had the cross on top of

2:33 the water

2:34 tower remember

2:36 that no my dad has corrected me we did

2:39 not live here in 1989 we moved here in

2:43 1991 so my memory my recollection is

2:47 based on newspaper clippings it's

2:51 interesting how that works how you see

2:53 something either on television or in a

2:55 newspaper clipping and you think that

2:57 you actually experienced it you think

2:58 your memory is failing you now so and as

3:00 small as a community that St Cloud is

3:03 they do have their own Monopoly game St

3:05 Cloud opoly and inside the museum I

3:08 picked up this book called St Cloud

3:11 images of America and I bought this book

3:14 a few years ago I don't know what

3:15 happened to it so I have repurchased it

3:18 and inside are all kind of cool old

3:20 photos of downtown St Cloud from the

3:23 good old days the days of Y and Yawn is

3:27 that the terminology yester year

3:30 yester year that's that's the word I'm

3:32 looking

3:33 for if you look on the side of that wall

3:36 you'll see a mural of what was the

3:38 original Investment Company when people

3:41 moved here to St Cloud the First

3:43 Property Owners went inside the

3:45 investment company right there as

3:48 depicted on the mural and bought bought

3:50 their property of course the building is

3:51 long gone but it's documented in this

3:54 book look so that's what it looked like

3:56 before they painted the picture on the

3:59 side of that building and it's now

4:01 immortalized in the form of a

4:08 mural we moved here in

4:08 1991 this was my dad's

4:11 church remember that Dad I vaguely

4:13 remember that vaguely vaguely remember

4:15 that faint memories and your office was

4:18 through those doors yep and then a very

4:21 very subtle right and your office was

4:24 back kind of behind that little window

4:25 area but like through the hallway right

4:28 in there and they've changed the color

4:30 scheme of the

4:31 church and it looks pretty much the same

4:34 though other than that used to have a

4:35 flag pole there on that little bitty

4:37 sidewalk place there behind the sign did

4:39 they remove the flag uh it eventually uh

4:41 I can't remember why but they did

4:44 eventually remove maybe the flag pole

4:45 just fell over and they never they never

4:47 put it back up could have happened

4:49 during a storm I don't remember for sure

4:51 speaking of storms you remember when

4:52 right up there tornado came through and

4:54 blew part of the roof off remember part

4:56 of the awning up there and this was the

4:58 back alley that led to our home from the

5:01 Mean Street alleys of St Cloud that's us

5:05 that's right we got some street cred and

5:06 right on this slab of concrete used to

5:08 sit a basketball hoop and it only stood

5:11 about 8 ft tall so I took a bunch of

5:14 pictures of me slam dunking it and it

5:16 made the optical illusion that looked

5:17 like I was really slam dunking a real

5:19 scale 10t basketball hoop and this was

5:22 our home from 1991 on for how many years

5:26 you think we lived here lived here till

5:27 July of uh 99

5:30 so gosh eight years or so and this is

5:32 all built on it used to be a screened in

5:34 porch and the first car I ever got I

5:38 parked in this driveway this is New York

5:40 Avenue and until a couple years ago the

5:44 original brick that's on the ground was

5:46 covered over with concrete and then the

5:49 people in the town petitioned decided

5:52 let's remove the concrete and bring back

5:54 the brick so now we have the old timey

5:56 feel of driving over brick again which

5:58 is really cool The Sunny Side

6:00 School sure is yeah someone has painted

6:03 murals all along the side of this wall

6:05 in fact there's murals all over downtown

6:07 that a lot of people who live here don't

6:09 even notice that's probably an untrue

6:11 statement they probably notice them but

6:13 they just after you see something long

6:15 enough you start not to pay attention to

6:17 it anymore what are you pointing out

6:18 another mural there is another mural

6:20 over there did you ever notice that one

6:22 oh yeah yeah this old produce stand you

6:25 can tell used to be a gas station at one

6:27 point there's some C cows right over

6:30 there and more importantly well not more

6:33 importantly but another subject other

6:35 than those cows you cows are important

6:38 but I wanted to talk about the sunset

6:41 off on the horizon in fact I'm going to

6:43 fly the Drone up try to get some aial

6:49 clouded Sunset as it starts to Caren

6:53 itself down over the horizon pretty

6:56 freaking beautiful I feel like now that

6:58 the cows need their own segment in the

7:00 Vlog and now that I dedicated a section

7:02 of the Vlog to the cows the sunset looks

7:05 a little angry it's like jealous that I

7:08 shifted gears you can almost see the

7:10 eyes and the mouth looks like an angry

7:12 face calm down Sunset you get enough

7:15 attention on your own I just drove from

7:17 St Cloud Florida up to CMI Florida which

7:19 is only a few miles there are so many

7:21 people more people than I have ever seen

7:23 playing Pokémon in the park every single

7:26 person out here is on their phone

7:28 looking for for Pokémon look at this

7:31 there's not dozens of people there are

7:33 hundreds of people everyone on their

7:35 phones trying to catch them all this is

7:38 insane I thought that Pokemon was

7:41 starting to kind of lose a little bit of

7:43 popularity I was wrong look at this this

7:45 is like a mob of

7:51 people it's crazy right it's like

7:51 they're it's like there's zombies coming

7:55 towards me don't even try to count how

7:56 many people have been in this Vlog po

7:59 Comm oning because it's pretty much near
