1:45 impressive but I do not want to spoil

1:53 the Manion the home horror has a new

1:56 home everyone in 1986 it did anyway

2:10 this the mansion from the horror film

2:24 music that was used in house that was

2:42 show a pool off to the side of the house

2:55 exterior shots and I think the insides

2:57 inside the foury year were actually

2:58 filmed inside this particular

3:01 home and the neighbor the Snoopy

3:04 neighbor who was the big fan of the

3:05 rider William cat was actually the star

3:07 from Greatest American Hero he actually

3:09 lived inside this house he inherited it

3:13 from I believe his aunt or his aunt and

3:16 right in here they actually had some rot

3:18 iron gates and there was a lot of scenes

3:21 where he came running out that front

3:22 door running around the side the

3:25 neighbor George Went who played Norm in

3:27 sheers actually lived right over here to

3:30 the opposite side there's actually one

3:33 really funny scene when one of the

3:35 monsters is on the top floor is in the

3:38 doorway in the top and he keeps setting

3:40 up like video cameras to actually

3:42 document the scary creature when it

3:44 strikes midnight when the clock strikes

3:46 midnight this house becomes very haunted

3:50 and very scary and he sets up this whole

3:54 thing he puts on this whole army uniform

3:56 there's all this dramatic music and then

3:58 the character comes running down the

4:00 stairs slides on his knees right here

4:03 thinking no one is around and the

4:05 neighbor the pesky neighbor played by

4:07 George went from cheers is sitting right

4:10 here and that happened right here that's

4:12 very very awesome there's another scene

4:14 too where he's climbing on the roof

4:17 slides down that side of the roof and

4:19 then actually goes up inside that little

4:22 awning right up there but all of these

4:24 rooms in the movie were completely

4:28 haunted think about that this is a legit

4:32 haunted mansion from the movies I just

4:36 realized I'm not wearing my sunglasses

4:38 nor am I wearing my Alias Clark trucker

4:41 hat but very cool there were two movies

4:44 in that which leads me to this question

4:46 which do you prefer the first house or

4:49 house the second story as far as your

4:52 favorite from the not a sequel I got not

4:55 a trilogy but a duy which would be your

4:59 favorite of the two films this is

5:07 that the house from house not the TV

5:09 show about the doctor the movie about

5:13 horror horror is that scary enough photo

5:25 you also in the movie I was watching it

5:25 the other night and I thought this was

5:27 actually a church because when they're

5:29 filming things you actually notice when

5:31 they use long angle lenses or wide

5:32 lenses things look much bigger than they

5:35 were much longer than they were and I

5:38 couldn't tell what that building was

5:39 it's actually a home but in the movie it

5:41 looks like a church is kind of off in

5:43 the distance but that's the same

5:44 building it's the same neighbor's house

5:47 and the same home that was used in the

5:50 movie house it's actually a historical

5:54 landmark you can see the little placard

5:57 there city of Monrovia historical

6:00 landmark and from what I can tell people

6:02 are living here now obviously by The

6:04 Cars but the top up there that room

6:07 which was haunted in the movie itself is

6:10 not inhabited check that out no one is

6:14 actually living up there there are no

6:16 drapes no curtains anywhere on the

6:22 window why is that why is

6:27 that I do not know but also check out

6:29 how there is no pool if you're familiar

6:32 with the film you will remember all

6:34 there's a lot of scenes in the backyard

6:36 and one of the children was supposedly

6:39 drowned in the movie actually went to

6:41 like the nether regions of horror and

6:44 William Kath the character it's very

6:46 interesting he was a writer he was

6:47 writing about his time in the military

6:50 and in the war I believe it was World

6:51 War II if I remember correctly and he

6:53 was having flashbacks and he was a

6:55 writer a famous horror film writer and

6:59 either his son or his nephew or a small

7:02 Boyhood child that he knew went into the

7:06 pool and disappeared so there was this

7:08 whole weird thing there was like inside

7:10 of this house there was actually a

7:12 bathroom and when he opened up the

7:14 medicine cabinet it was normal medicine

7:16 but when you broke the mirror he went

7:18 down into this crazy Corridor that was

7:21 inside that home in that house and he

7:24 actually took this rope and scaffolded

7:27 himself down the Rope all the way down

7:30 fell into this huge pool of water

7:33 rescued the boy and then swam in the

7:37 water and appeared back in the pool that

7:39 is not next to the home in real life but

7:41 it is in the movie and we lived happily

7:44 ever after or at least we thought we did

7:47 until the guy who played Bull on Night

7:49 Court appeared as a Zombie World War II

7:55 guy very scary he was a zombie skeleton

7:59 ran all through the house into the yard

8:01 it's quite the movie you should check

8:03 out I not want to give too many spoilers

8:06 but you should check that that 1986

8:08 classic out as well as you should check
