0:02 Today's adventure begins, as a recording
0:02 of Thursday, October 2nd,
0:06 2025. I have arrived at the parking lot
0:09 of Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park,
0:12 and you can see plenty of parking spaces
0:14 left. I have parked here towards the
0:17 back end, but there is tons more room.
0:20 It is not a busy day. I checked the wait
0:21 time earlier at home on the My Disney
0:24 Experience app and thought, "Wow, due to
0:26 the storm that culminated this morning
0:28 and has now passed, it's not very busy."
0:31 So, popping over. It's also a good to go
0:35 day. Don't even need to make a
0:36 reservation. Welcome everyone. Adam the
0:39 Woo here. It's about 1:30 p.m. I believe
0:42 the park usually closes earlier than the
0:44 other three parks. There are four total
0:47 WDW parks. I have to be completely
0:49 honest, out of the four, this is the one
0:51 I go to the least, but I have been going
0:53 here more than I used to. Starting to
0:57 get a little nostalgia for Animal
0:59 Kingdom. Opened in 1998, same year that
1:02 the Tampa Bay Rays started as well. I'm
1:06 going to pop in and just see uh see
1:08 what's happening. Been a while. Also,
1:10 some things have closed. Some
1:11 construction updates are happening. It's
1:14 been a little while since I've been in
1:15 here. So, let me pop in. Join me. It's
1:17 good to have you here. The sun's coming
1:19 out, shall you?
1:22 Park closed at 6:00. It's 1:33 now, so
1:25 plenty of time because the wait times
1:28 are super mellow. Check out the safari.
1:31 15 minutes for Kilamjara Safari. Not bad
1:35 at all. 5 minutes for Guerilla Falls
1:38 Exploration Trek.
1:41 Five for Wilderness Express Train. Let's
1:44 get over here to the nitty-gritty.
1:46 Dinosaur.
1:48 A whopping 5 minutes
1:51 and only 15 for Expedition Everest. Oh
1:55 yeah. Oh yeah.
1:58 That's beautiful. I'm going to pop in,
2:00 grab a coffee, meander around a little
2:03 bit,
2:05 and then do an attraction or two.
2:07 Definitely got to do Dinosaur because
2:09 that's going to be closing into early
2:12 2026. And as much as I travel, I hardly
2:16 ever know if I'm going to be here on a
2:17 final day. So, got to get the got to get
2:19 those last dinosaur rides in. I'm sure
2:21 this won't be my last one, but it'll be
2:23 one of my last. It's always amazing how
2:25 well she blends in to the foliage. And
2:28 then when she steps over, then you can
2:30 see her walking around. But when she's
2:32 over next to the bushes and the ferns,
2:35 she's a lot more in disguise there.
2:37 >> Oh, now she's going up against the pole
2:39 there. She just blends in so well.
2:42 That's always kind of cool when you
2:43 first walk in seeing that. That is a
2:47 cotton top tamarind right there that I'm
2:49 looking at while I'm drinking my piping
2:51 hot caffeinated beverage that I just
2:52 got. He's kind of like tucked away
2:54 underneath. But now he's on top of that.
2:56 Cotton top tamarind is what they're
2:58 called. There's another one right over
3:00 there kind of walking the walking the
3:01 tight rope. He's not one. He's be camera
3:04 shy. He's looking the other way. Oh,
3:05 there's another one up top there.
3:06 There's another one right there. You
3:08 kind of see it through the through the
3:09 fencing. Here we go. Let's go. Here we
3:11 go. Take a little gander there with the
3:14 cotton top tamarind. This one, look at
3:17 this one. It's like upside down. It was
3:18 It was like hanging upside down getting
3:20 the leaf right there. It was nice. There
3:24 was not one person at Starbucks. I just
3:25 walked right in and uh grabbed a cup and
3:28 joe. Went with a pumpkin spice latte
3:30 because it is October and it's in full
3:33 Halloween season this entire month. Even
3:35 here at Animal Kingdom, they are just
3:38 out in full force after the ride. These
3:40 things are so so dang cool, right? Look
3:43 at that thing. A view of the tree of
3:44 life here. Kind of obscured by some
3:46 other smaller trees in front. But the
3:47 reason I'm standing here is because of
3:49 these pink flamingos. And obviously I do
3:51 think of John Waters that film, but more
3:54 than John Waters film nine n00 times
3:57 more than I think of the John Waters
3:58 film. I always think of Thre's Company
4:00 and I think of Terry in the intro at the
4:03 LA Zoo standing next to the pig
4:06 flamingos. Every time I see any see
4:08 flamingos anywhere, I always always
4:10 think of Thre's Company. In fact, I
4:12 didn't even think of the other reference
4:13 until I was just standing here and I
4:14 said it out loud. Uh, two totally
4:16 different types of entertainment, folks.
4:18 Uh, John Waters and Pre Company. And
4:20 behind the flamingo are two lapidfaced
4:24 vultures. They are hard to see, but
4:26 they're way back there. There's two of
4:28 them kind of perched on those two pieces
4:30 of wood back there. I think one of them
4:32 just uh is like scratching its neck or
4:35 something. They're kind of like on
4:36 either side of the screen. Like one
4:38 right there in the center of the screen.
4:39 You can barely barely see them. And then
4:42 the other one right there in the center
4:43 as well. So there are two lapitaced
4:48 vultures or leetfaced vultures with a
4:52 wingspan up to 9 ft. And you got to
4:54 wonder how long it's going to be before
4:55 they take this sign down. Dino Land USA.
4:58 Lots changing back here. I see a crane
5:00 back there. I see a big crane over this
5:03 bridge. And they have removed a lot
5:04 since the last time I was here. It's
5:06 looking empty. And take a look at the
5:08 crane way up there. This is really
5:11 vastly emptier than it was the last time
5:13 I was here. The whole carnival area over
5:15 there, the boneyard that they had up
5:16 here that you could go up and dig around
5:18 in the sand and find the dino bones. All
5:21 that's been removed. I guess the only
5:23 real thing back here still would be
5:25 Dinosaur the Ride. The whole, you know,
5:27 the gift shop that was back there is
5:29 closed. You still see the buildings.
5:31 Triceratops spin all that
5:34 >> erased from existence.
5:39 >> Piece of heavy machinery right there
5:40 next to next to the dinosaur. What's
5:43 that? Trilobytes.
5:45 How you pronounce that?
5:52 Possibly. This is going to be the new
5:52 area which is going to have Encanto and
5:54 some other things.
5:57 You have to go all the way around.
6:00 You
6:00 >> get the dinosaur in the
6:02 restaurantosaurus.
6:03 >> Yeah. See,
6:06 >> here's the encanto area
6:08 >> right there. This is going to be
6:11 dinosaur. It's going to be a new
6:13 overlay, completely redone. Same ride
6:15 track. It's going to be Indiana Jones, a
6:17 new Indiana Jones type of excursion from
6:20 what I'm hearing is not going to be the
6:22 same as Indie out in Anaheim. So,
6:25 that'll be kind of nice to have a
6:26 different Indie, but it's the same ride
6:27 vehicles, same ride track. I've even
6:29 heard too. I've never completely
6:31 confirmed that, but even Dinosaur and
6:33 India, I guess, are the same ride track
6:34 or at least very very similar. So, it'
6:36 be kind of a I don't want to say an easy
6:38 overlay, but at least they're not
6:39 building from scratch. They just got to
6:40 tear down the dinosaur theming and put
6:43 and put Indie in there.
6:46 Yeah. Take a look at this little
6:49 corridor walkway through here.
6:52 Construction update.
6:55 Man, this is something. I haven't been
6:57 here in a while. I haven't been here
6:58 since all these walls and everything
7:00 went up.
7:07 This could be a haunt on its own. You
7:07 got some scarectors in here jumping out
7:09 at people.
7:11 Little walls everywhere. Yeah, pretty
7:13 soon this logo is going to be a thing of
7:15 the past. This logo
7:19 soon to be extinct.
7:21 That is for sure.
7:35 >> You know, in all reality, there has been
7:35 so many things changing on Walt Disney
7:37 World property in the LA, you know,
7:39 announcements in the last couple years.
7:42 I'm trying to think of another time in
7:43 recent
7:45 recent time frame in the last 10 years
7:47 where there's been this much this many
7:50 changes coming to WDW.
7:53 Been a while. It's fast. It's a blast.
7:55 and is soon to really be in the past. I
7:58 mean, it's the theming is in the past,
7:59 but this whole attraction is about to be
8:02 way back in the past. Just think years
8:05 from now, we'll look back at this and
8:06 people will be like, "What? There was a
8:08 dinosaur? There used to be a dinosaur
8:09 ride, even though it's been here forever
8:11 and ever and ever." You know, you think
8:12 of 20, 30 years from now, they're going
8:14 to be like, "All they're going to know
8:16 here is in the Indiana Jones." They're
8:18 not going to know this creature. What
8:20 are they going to do with all these
8:21 bones?
8:23 Where are these going to end up? Or this
8:25 one. Or this prop. Where is this thing
8:27 going to go? That thing won't fit in the
8:29 archives out in
8:30 >> Burbank.
8:37 I mean, to quote Indiana Jones, it
8:37 belongs in a museum.
8:40 >> Probably won't go in one though.
8:42 Probably be a dumpster somewhere.
8:53 There's another turtle underneath the
8:53 root system of that tree.
8:55 >> There's a goose.
9:04 Oh, there's a snake.
9:04 And the line pretty much starts right
9:05 here. They're saying it's a 15minute
9:07 wait. I think that's pretty accurate,
9:09 which this thing will get up to, you
9:10 know, 45 minutes to an hour sometimes.
9:12 So, I can handle 15, that's for sure.
9:16 15's almost just a walk on. And pretty
9:17 much the next room after this, you're in
9:19 the pre-show.
9:32 Tell me
9:32 your eyes.
10:21 Time travel commencing tus 10 seconds.
10:21 I'm counting.
10:23 >> This is secret.
10:25 >> Stop for a second.
10:42 >> Okay,
10:42 >> let's go get that dino computer. What
10:45 are you tracking?
10:55 >> Raptor.
10:56 >> Time to get serious.
10:58 >> Identify. What is that?
11:05 That's right. Move it.
11:05 >> Oh, wow.
11:08 >> Warning.
11:09 >> Get them out now.
11:11 >> Hold on to that wall.
11:14 >> Here we go.
11:14 >> Brace yourself. This is it.
11:23 >> Yeah, that's exhilarating. Look at this.
11:23 Now, this is the queue now.
11:25 Look at the amount of people that are in
11:27 this. No one's even walking in over
11:29 there. Slow
11:46 I've never seen this shirt before.
11:46 That's cool. The future is truly
11:50 in the past. also have hats,
12:08 >> So, used to you used to walk out this
12:08 way and you'd walk over into the really
12:10 quirky, kitschy gift shop that was over
12:12 here, but that's all blocked off now.
12:14 Man, I love that gift shop, too. All
12:16 right, going back through the land of
12:17 walls.
12:19 Got butterflies on this side. Oh, they
12:21 have butterflies on the other side, too.
12:22 I just didn't notice them first time I
12:24 walked past this. Future's going to be
12:27 the tropical Americas.
12:30 No more dinos.
12:45 >> I was noticing that Expedition Everest
12:45 was only a five, maybe 10 minute wait
12:47 after I got off Dinosaur. I don't think
12:49 I'm going to do Expedition Evers today.
12:50 I do it every time I'm here. It's just
12:52 uh I feel like maybe I'll just do go
12:55 over to Harambe and go over to the
12:57 safari and do that. Do something a
12:59 little bit a little bit mellow.
13:00 Dinosaur. I don't know if it's just me,
13:02 but just older I get. It is it's pretty
13:04 rough. So is Indie. Sign out front said
13:07 10-minute wait for the safari. There's
13:10 the booking office.
13:12 Keep on strolling through.
13:15 This might be a complete walk-on.
13:26 And again, I don't know how many animals
13:26 are going to be visible after. It looks
13:29 like it might actually rain again
13:31 shortly because there's another couple
13:33 storm clouds rolling out. So, see how
13:35 that goes.
13:38 >> I mean, I walked right up to basically
13:40 where the lightning lane merges with the
13:42 regular line.
14:09 >> They're only they're only utilizing one
14:09 side.
14:11 >> So, usually if it's a busy day, they
14:13 load both sides. This is just just using
14:15 the one side today. It's
14:18 >> a one-sided death.
14:28 >> Photography chips. It's not possible to
14:28 stop the vehicle for photographs. Have
14:29 your camera ready. Animals might be app
14:31 might appear at any point.
14:35 Please disable camera flashes after
14:37 sunset. Well, the park closes before
14:39 sunset. It closes at 6:00, so won't have
14:41 that issue. Sometimes the parks open
14:42 after sunset, but more times than not,
14:45 it closes before sunset.
14:52 >> This old school camera, well, actually
14:52 high-tech camera
14:54 >> sitting in the back row, sitting in road
14:57 number.
15:01 I think it's rolling in right now. Here
15:01 it comes. Pulling into the station.
15:04 >> It's the safari vehicle. Nitro. Ninth
15:08 row on this far corner.
15:11 Wi-Fi.
15:13 >> If there's any of those little ones you
15:14 have sitting next to you or on your lap,
15:16 they must remain safely seated at all
15:18 times. This road is very bumpy and not
15:20 really driving, so it's for everyone's
15:21 safety. If you look above your head,
15:23 you'll find an animal spotting guide.
15:24 It'll help you identify some of the
15:25 animals out here on a reserve. And if
15:27 you're planning on taking any photos of
15:28 those animals, I do recommend you
15:30 putting your phone or camera in live
15:31 action or sports mode so you get the
15:34 best photos possible as I did not make
15:35 that many stops from the animals. They
15:37 did not stop us.
15:38 All that said, we did just enter the
15:40 little Aturi forest. Here in the forest,
15:41 animals love to use camouflage as their
15:43 main form of defense. So exciting.
15:45 >> That means use their color in their
15:46 patterns to hide in the trees and the
15:47 bushes. So just keep your eyes there.
15:49 Over to your right hand side is going to
15:50 be an oppos.
15:52 >> Now these striped legs of an okopy may
15:53 make you think they're related to
15:54 zebras, but they're actually related to
15:56 the giraffe.
15:57 >> They can tell because of their skull
15:58 shape and because their prehensile
16:00 tongue
16:02 prehensile in your life, you can pick
16:04 these up with that tongue. Same figures.
16:06 They can also clean their own ears,
16:08 eyes, and nose with it as it is about 18
16:10 inches long. Their eyes, females will
16:12 have a golden eye while males will have
16:13 a dark brown or black eye. There's a
16:15 black rhy over to your left hand side.
16:16 If you look past the log, you might be
16:18 able to see him. He's on the left side
16:20 next to the half wall.
16:26 >> Our black rhinos are the smaller of the
16:26 two species of rhino we have here on our
16:28 reserve. They weigh about 3,000 lbs.
16:30 They can gall
16:32 four of their feet come off the ground
16:33 as they run.
16:36 Now, they are a forager.
16:38 >> Look at the nest up there.
16:42 >> Unfortunately, rhinos, they are
16:43 endangered. That's because they're being
16:44 coached for their horns. So, a lot of
16:46 people think that their horns have a
16:47 medicinal value to them, meaning that
16:48 they can be used in medicine. But they
16:50 do not, and they're made of the same
16:52 material that our hair and our nails are
16:53 made out of, that is keratin. That's why
16:55 it's super important. We spread good
16:56 information about them. If you look over
16:58 to the left hand side, kind of at the
17:00 top of the hill, you might be able to
17:01 see a kind of orangey rustal animal with
17:03 horns. That's the a bongo. see the
17:05 bongo. So, bongos are known as the
17:06 ghosts of the forest because they are
17:08 very shy and highly reclusive. Not any
17:09 sign of danger though, by the way,
17:11 you'll probably never see them again.
17:12 Both male and bongos, they will have
17:14 those horns. The way you can find any
17:17 more out here. We made our way to the
17:19 outskirts of that forest. It's called
17:20 the Santi River. Now, the Santi River is
17:22 home to more aquatic animals. So, just
17:24 keep your eyes to the water.
17:26 >> Bananas. [laughter]
17:28 Over to our right hand side, we're going
17:29 to have a couple of pig pelos. They're
17:31 the really big white and gray palas that
17:32 we see. Our pebbles, they get their name
17:35 because their backs are in a bright
17:36 shade of pink during many season. That
17:37 goes all the way up their cheeks to make
17:39 it look like they are blushing.
17:41 They're what we call a colonial nesters.
17:43 That means they nest in groups of about
17:44 500. They're also one of the only
17:46 pelicans that will nest in trees.
17:56 >> That is because hippotus actually means
17:56 rivers in Latin. They do not actually
17:58 swim. Instead, they're going to walk,
18:00 run, or bounce from the bottom of the
18:01 river, pushing themselves up. Whatever
18:03 they need some air.
18:05 See if we can't catch up with them.
18:06 There's two. They're walking just next
18:08 to this little island here.
18:09 >> Right there. See them?
18:12 >> Right there.
18:14 >> Look at there. There it is.
18:17 >> Say hi, hippo.
18:20 >> Bye, hippo. They can't hold their breath
18:22 for about eight minutes at a time. They
18:23 can close their ears and their nostrils
18:25 stay in feet of water. If they have the
18:27 fall sleep while they're underneath the
18:28 water, they do not need to wake up.
18:29 Another one over to your left hand side.
18:31 Just there it goes.
18:34 Oh, there's your
18:37 Morris and now crocodile. Looks like
18:39 they are over to our left hand side.
18:41 Now, the one that's kind of halfway in
18:43 the grass is doing something called
18:44 thermore regulating. So, when they have
18:46 their mouths open like that, they're
18:47 either a little bit too hot or a little
18:49 bit too cold. So, they're going to help
18:50 maintain a steady body temperature by
18:52 doing that.
18:53 >> They're going to be about 16 ft long.
18:54 Females are the best palms. They're
18:56 actually GOING TO TAKE THEIR EGGS in
18:57 their mouth, roll them around a little
18:58 bit, and then crack them on the inside
19:00 of their teeth. Now, when they do that,
19:02 it helps them a little bit easier.
19:04 They'll travel thousands of miles across
19:05 the other sides to find whatever it is
19:07 they're looking for.
19:09 The zebra we see over to our right hand
19:10 side are the hearts and mountain zebras
19:12 that we can tell for two reasons. One is
19:14 because of their shr and the other is
19:15 because they have a dooap. Let's see if
19:18 we can get a view of that dap. If you
19:19 look to their neck, they do have a
19:21 little fluff of skin hanging down.
19:22 That's what a dooap is. It actually
19:24 helps them to cool down. So they'll send
19:26 blood to that dap. The wind cools it.
19:28 They circulate it through their bodies.
19:30 >> And again, the other reason is because
19:32 those stripes, if you look, they have a
19:34 white underbelly. Their stripes do not
19:36 go all the way around them. And that's
19:37 how we can tell. Now that is actually
19:40 really important and helps them maintain
19:41 a day by temperature. Over to your left
19:44 hand side, just next to the other zebra,
19:46 there is going to be a couple of stable
19:47 antelope. Now they sit in a very
19:49 interesting form. They're all looking in
19:51 a different direction. In a fight
19:52 orflight response, they will choose to
19:54 fight. So when they fight each other, it
19:56 actually doesn't work out.
19:57 >> Pressure is about 250 on average to help
20:00 them deal with that blood pressure. They
20:01 have a pretty big heart. The blood's at
20:03 the very top of their head. It's about
20:05 five It's about 2 feet in length and it
20:06 weighs about 25 lbs.
20:09 >> Maybe look
20:15 should have been over there with Jenny
20:15 draft.
20:16 >> No, they actually only have seven
20:17 vertebrae in their necks even though
20:18 their necks are incredibly long. That's
20:20 the same amount of vertebrae that we
20:21 have in ours.
20:23 Looks like we're going to get really
20:24 close to these ankle cattle. Now, their
20:27 horns work the exact same way that the
20:29 zebras do live does. So, they send blood
20:31 up to the honeycomb like structure in
20:32 these horns.
20:35 Look at the towels.
20:36 >> The wind will cool it and they will
20:37 circulate that through their bodies.
20:42 >> Wow.
20:42 >> Again, they are the ankle cattle.
20:44 They're also called the cattle after the
20:45 villagers who docuate them. Then when
20:49 baby giraffes are born, they have about
20:50 a six foot drop. That drop will jump
20:52 start.
20:53 They'll be up and running within the
20:55 hour.
20:57 >> There's also a curly top. They have the
20:59 same tongue back from earlier. It's
21:01 about 18 hours long.
21:04 >> They'll eat for about 20 hours every
21:05 single day. The other hours of the day,
21:07 you might think that they are sleeping,
21:08 but they'll only sleep for about 30
21:10 minutes every single day.
21:12 >> That they don't do it all at one time.
21:13 Instead, they do it in short little naps
21:15 throughout the day. 1 2 minutes a night.
21:17 elephant.
21:18 >> The elephant I saw over here. See the
21:20 elephant?
21:22 >> There's monkeys over there.
21:23 >> Looks like there might only be this one
21:25 elephant over. All right.
21:27 >> Now, I know I said that males like to be
21:29 by themselves, but sometimes they do
21:30 form what we call a bachelor herd. So,
21:32 bachelor herds are made of younger males
21:34 who just kicked out of their family herd
21:35 because they join a different herd or
21:37 make one of their own, but most of the
21:39 time they'll just stay under her mom.
21:42 So, there's a hierarchy in those herds
21:44 if mom does have multiples. So, if we
21:46 just want to kiss, we'll kind of fight
21:48 it out to see who takes over the knee
21:50 shark position.
21:56 Now, we are going to keep our eyes out
21:56 for them. Looks like they
21:58 >> might look
22:00 as long as
22:07 look right here.
22:07 >> Once again, white rhinos. There's going
22:09 to be another one over to our left hand
22:12 >> Oh my god.
22:19 You got another one coming up right in
22:19 front of us.
22:20 >> Right now, if you get a good look at
22:22 that mouth, they have a more square
22:23 shaped mouth. That was because they
22:25 actually got their name from a
22:26 mistransation. That mistransation is of
22:28 the word vit. So vit means wide shape of
22:32 their mouth again.
22:44 >> 2 and 1/2 ft tall. They're great. Great
22:44 animals to keep. They clean up the yards
22:46 from any loose home there. They also
22:48 provide milk. Now that
22:50 >> all those goats
22:50 >> can be used to make dairy items as well
22:52 as soap and lotion which villers use to
22:54 sell.
23:08 >> That was a pretty good
23:08 >> pretty good ride on the
23:10 >> safari. Again, Disney World opened in
23:14 71. Also, yesterday was Disney World's
23:17 anniversary.
23:19 >> October 1st, 1971. Animal King opened in
23:22 ' 98. It
23:23 >> was also Epcot's birthday. Epcot opened
23:26 in ' 82.
23:32 >> One thing about the safari, as much as I
23:32 love it, it goes, it almost goes a
23:34 little too fast. It almost like a little
23:36 too fast. really hard to really get any
23:39 kind of good footage or photos. Even if
23:42 you're just take trying to take
23:43 pictures, the thing just moves along so
23:45 fast. Oh, here comes Kevin.
24:17 >> Even Kevin, she is confused by all the
24:17 construction walls.
24:20 >> What's behind there, Kevin?
24:27 She's here with the
24:27 >> train.
24:57 >> My favorite thing I like.
24:57 >> All right. Walked over to World of
24:59 Avatar now. Checking the wait times on
25:02 the app. It looks as if Na'vi River
25:05 Journey is 35 minutes
25:08 and Flight of Passage was 20 minutes.
25:10 Since when does Flight of Passage have a
25:12 shorter wait time than Na'vi River?
25:14 That's amazing. So, I am going to call
25:17 Na'vi Rivers Bluff
25:20 and I assume that it is shorter than 35
25:23 minutes. I'm going to walk over there
25:25 and look. I'm going to look walk over
25:28 there. Look, this doesn't seem too busy
25:29 back in here. Yeah, the 20 minutes.
25:33 >> The 20 minutes is for Flight of Passage.
25:35 The 30 is for Na'vi River. Let me test
25:38 it out. I mean, 20 minutes for Flight of
25:40 Passage is insanely low.
25:43 Let me test this out.
25:53 I'm going to say 10 minutes.
25:53 I am going to go on record and say 10
25:55 knots. I'll be able to tell once I get
25:58 up here and see the queue.
26:03 Oh,
26:04 it's a creature making some noises.
26:06 Might be saying that I might be off base
26:07 with my 10-minute.
26:10 Definitely not a half hour. Definitely
26:13 not.
26:15 a half hour. Oh, maybe I'm wrong.
26:18 Okay. Uh, the queue looks pretty full.
26:21 Okay, I stand corrected. It probably is
26:23 a half hour. Uh,
26:31 15 minutes. No, I'm going to stick I'm
26:31 going to stick by 10. I'm going to stick
26:33 by my 10.
26:35 I'm put the timer on. Just turned it on.
26:39 Just turned it on.
26:49 I've definitely seen this queue much
26:49 busier
26:50 than it is right now. 11 minutes 27
26:54 seconds to where Lightning Lane merges
26:57 into the Lightning Lane merger. 11
27:00 minutes and I'll be on the ride in
27:02 probably 3 minutes from here. So, I just
27:04 passed Lightning Lane in 11 minutes.
27:08 Just like that. Minute later, I'm on it.
27:35 Heat.
28:08 I think my favorite part of that
28:08 attraction. I mean, I just love all the
28:10 the black lights when you're going
28:11 through there. Kind of wish it was a
28:13 little bit lengthier. See, the time you
28:15 start getting really into it, it's over.
28:18 But I really do enjoy that boat ride.
28:20 And the animatronic at the very end is
28:22 just so cool.
28:44 I'm kind of tempted to see what Flight
28:44 of Passage is.
28:46 I mean, if it's only if it's a walk-on,
28:48 how can I say no to that? I mean,
28:50 sometimes that thing gets to be an hour,
28:52 hour and a half wait.
28:54 This has to be a joke. I mean, it was
28:57 less than 15.
28:59 Oh my gosh. Could you imagine if this is
29:02 true? If it really is 10 minutes
29:06 for Flight of Passage, that is unheard
29:09 of.
29:35 I think the majority of what the wait
29:35 time is is just going to be walking up
29:37 here.
29:40 Haven't even stop forward motion yet.
30:07 still have not stopped forward motion
30:07 yet.
30:45 All right, slowing down just a little
30:45 bit right here. Still haven't stopped.
30:48 Just slowing down.
30:56 I've been in line 3 minutes and 30
30:56 seconds.
32:01 Not even any time to stop and check out
32:01 this impressive little animatronic. That
32:04 is just so freaking cool. But keep
32:07 moving. Not complaining though. I'm
32:10 going to get on this thing in less than
32:11 10 minutes.
32:36 >> Not even 8 minutes going in the
32:36 pre-show.
32:38 >> Amazing.
32:41 I'm telling you, this is like unheard
32:44 >> All done here.
32:45 >> They're all clear.
32:46 >> Great.
32:47 >> Now, let's go over how all this works.
32:50 Like I said before, you're going to find
32:52 you your avatar matches.
32:58 >> Let's get you into the link chamber.
32:58 >> Welcome in everyone. You will be
33:00 restrained at a height above the ground
33:01 and the floor is going to move. picked
33:03 up if you're height, prone motion,
33:04 sickness, or cannot remain seated for 4
33:07 and a half minutes and would like to opt
33:08 out. Please let me know in the next
33:10 room. 13 follow me. 93 will follow
33:13 behind the front row.
33:17 >> Attention drivers, stow your gear on the
33:19 back wall and then get onto the link the
33:21 way we showed you in the video. Then put
33:23 on your flight.
33:24 >> That was a lot of fun.
33:26 I've probably only done Flight of
33:27 Passage maybe five times in my entire
33:29 life
33:30 and I feel like each time I go on it, I
33:33 actually enjoy it more than the prior
33:35 time. Starting to starting to enjoy it a
33:38 little bit more now. The last time I
33:41 went on it, it's probably I don't know 7
33:43 8 months ago, it was when I first saw
33:46 both the two Avatar films that are out.
33:48 I had never been in here
33:54 since watching the films until the last
33:54 time I was in here over in the world of
33:57 Avatar.
34:02 So now I kind of have a little bit more
34:02 appreciation for this land, even though
34:04 I had been in this land dozens of times
34:07 before I'd seen the films. And I'm
34:08 looking forward to the the third and
34:11 fourth. I think there's going to be a
34:12 fourth one.
34:19 Oh, there's a bird birds of paradise
34:19 flower right there.
34:22 So, it took me 7 and 12 minutes
34:25 to walk at a brisk pace. I would say
34:27 probably 5 minutes of that. I didn't
34:30 even
34:31 stop forward motion at all. And I to be
34:34 honest, I never stopped forward motion,
34:36 but it slowed down towards the end.
34:43 But even walking at a brisk pace, it
34:43 took me seven and a half minutes to walk
34:45 to the pre-show. And then the pre first
34:47 pre-show was five minutes and then the
34:48 second pre-show was five minutes. And
34:49 then the attraction itself is like a
34:52 4-minute ride.
34:57 But just walking to the front, just
34:58 walking to the first pre-show,
35:00 7 and 1/2 minutes.
35:07 That's how far back it is up in there.
35:07 This might rival Indiana Jones, the
35:09 Indiana Jones ride, the Temple of the
35:12 Forbidden Eye at Disneyland at Anaheim.
35:15 That one's way, way back in there. This
35:18 one might rival that and actually be
35:20 long take longer to walk
35:23 to the first section to get on the ride
35:24 vehicle than even that is.
35:27 You get your steps in though. But man, I
35:30 just walked right on. Just walked right
35:31 on.
35:52 What a great day.
35:52 Walked on everything.
35:56 >> Beautiful.
35:57 Had a good safari run. Really good
36:00 safari run. Sometimes the animals aren't
36:02 that abundant
36:06 that time of the day,
36:09 but they were out and they were just
36:10 right next to the vehicles, which were
36:11 great.
36:14 Yeah. Animal Kingdom Day for the win.
36:23 Going to head home, watch some
36:23 postseason baseball. My Rays are
36:25 eliminated, but there are three
36:28 wild card games that are tied up. one
36:31 and one and all three of those games
36:33 tonight decide which of those three
36:36 teams
36:37 advance to their to the next level for
36:39 them.
36:41 Of course, my again my Rays I'm not in
36:44 the postseason
36:46 but I'm still going to watch a little
36:48 postseason baseball. How can you not?
36:49 It's freaking great. I just got no horse
36:52 in the race.
36:54 I do love some baseball though.
36:58 And that's going to do it for today.
36:59 Hey, thanks for watching. I appreciate
37:02 it. Glad you tuned in. Glad you stuck
37:05 around.
37:11 It's a good day. I just stepped on a
37:11 leaf. I did have a wild time. I did.
37:15 Wait a second. Where's it at?
37:18 I did have a wild time.
37:26 I had a wild and empty animal kingdom.
37:26 Animal Kingdom was empty. I mean, there
37:28 were people in there. It wasn't like I
37:29 was the only one in there, but in
37:30 comparison to how Animal Kingdom usually
37:33 is, that was empty. I'll see you in the
37:36 next video. The vlog is over.
