0:24 started filming the Vlog ironically I'm

0:26 wearing a Back to the Future shirt

0:28 because the DeLorean Mot company has

0:30 announced that they for the first time

0:33 in almost three decades or actually a

0:35 little over three decades are actually

0:38 going to start producing brand new

0:40 Deloreans I don't know how I feel about

0:42 this you got to wonder if they're going

0:44 to look the same as the old ones or if

0:46 they're going to be a notch better than

0:49 the old ones it's very interesting this

0:54 a about a piece of my hometown that I

0:57 lived in since 1991 before moving out to

1:04 beginning of last year I've been in that

1:06 area for about a year a little town by

1:08 the name of St Cloud Florida I want to

1:25 street is a tractor supply which is

1:28 right over there and a dollar doar tree

1:30 and the Dollar Tree used to actually be

1:32 the Walmart before the Walmart Super

1:35 Center across the road reared its ugly

1:38 head and I actually worked at that

1:41 Walmart Superstore in the mid99s and

1:44 that is actually the Walmart I did a

1:47 telephone call from on Periscope and I

2:40 this Earth St Cloud Florida this little

2:44 teeny town not really a suburb of

2:46 Orlando because it's about 20 25 miles

2:49 from Orlando but basically in the

2:51 greater Orlando area this little town is

2:54 my hometown I was not born here I've

2:56 lived in other areas but this is where I

2:59 spent the formative years of my life and

3:02 my teenage years my young adult years

3:06 and then into my adulthood and a lot has

3:09 changed just like in Back to the Future

3:11 old man Peabody on all of it he had this

3:15 crazy idea about breeding pine trees and

3:18 right over here there used to be a lot

3:20 of pine trees including the Walmart the

3:24 Sonic the Chick-fil-A the Chipotle the

3:27 Publix the bank down there the gas

3:31 station down there all that was Farmland

3:36 as far as the eye could see and the very

3:38 first thing that you would see when you

3:40 came from CMI Florida from Disney World

3:43 you would drive down Highway 192 which

3:46 is right here also known as 13th Street

3:48 or earo Bronson Highway the first thing

3:51 you would see as you entered into St

3:53 Cloud Florida was this sh

4:04 K now this is actually an abandoned

4:04 Kangaroo gas station I do not know if

4:08 the entire Kangaroo gas station

4:10 franchise has actually look at the

4:17 kangaroo all the kangaroos in existence

4:20 have closed but this building Now lies

4:23 dormant abandoned decaying and rotting

4:27 away normally under the Florida Sun but

4:39 do you remember the gas station called

4:42 little champ that was the first thing

4:44 that you would see when you would pull

4:46 into town you would drive down this

4:48 desolate road which has actually been

4:53 used to only be two lanes as you came

4:55 down this road you would see the little

4:59 champ

5:00 convenience store later becoming the

5:02 kangaroo and my parents my dad and I my

5:05 mom and I my sister and I would always

5:06 have this joke well we're moving to St

5:08 Cloud there's not a whole heck of a lot

5:10 here but there is a little champ we'd

5:14 always say you know what there always

5:16 will be a little champ well the little

5:20 champ and the Kangaroo gas station has

5:23 seen better days and as I came back for

5:26 this vacation if you will I noticed that

5:30 this was gone and it kind of made me a

5:32 little bit sad because I visited this

5:35 establishment many many many times that

5:40 I pull right over here and fill up any

5:43 vehicle that I had the countless amount

5:45 of cars and the van that I have now many

5:49 times pulled up right in here to this

5:53 pump or to that pump or to that

5:56 pump and actually filled my car up to go

6:00 off on adventures and of course you know

6:02 what we have to do now cuz there is a

6:04 water spet here let's try

6:07 it oh yeah look at this we got some

6:09 water that's crazy water at an abandoned

6:13 location all the people driving by are

6:14 probably saying why in the heck is that

6:16 guy turning the water on but take a good

6:19 look at this I did a vlog a long time

6:21 ago with my dad where we were filling up

6:23 water bottles right over here probably

6:26 about a year a year and a half ago use

6:28 your Columbo like research skills and

6:30 find the Vlog that I did with my dad

6:34 right in this area here you can actually

6:37 see where the water machine was I think

6:39 there was actually recently a red box

6:43 machine here and a water machine here

6:45 maybe vice versa of course the dumpster

6:48 was over here and you can actually see

6:51 the old Pepsi and Coke 2 L trays that

6:55 are right over in there so let's go

6:58 inside and actually well not go inside

7:00 but let's peek take a peek

7:03 inside and look at the remnants oh look

7:15 we know it's this store will be closing

7:18 its doors for the last time 11:00 p.m.

7:21 on Monday December 14th so a little over

7:25 a month ago a month and a half ago this

7:27 store closed down

7:36 and you can actually see the counter

7:36 right over there many times that I stand

7:58 counter it's pretty crazy to think

8:00 memories are a very unusual thing when

8:03 they resonate in your head everything is

8:05 a memory especially places like this

8:07 that you actually come to on a regular

8:09 basis when you live in a town this was

8:12 one of my my stomping grounds my hauns

8:16 is this place was not haunted they were

8:18 not ghosts but I have ghosts of the past

8:23 location stuff do some former places

8:26 that you have lived and visited the Adam

8:30 that this place haunts my memory in a

8:33 good way because I walk through those

8:36 doors many many many many times either

8:39 getting gas or pulling my vehicles right

8:42 up into here kangaroo the gas station

8:45 used to have a couple years ago they had

8:47 this mug that you could buy tell me if

8:50 you remember this kangaroo had this mug

8:52 you would buy it for

8:53 $66.99 once you pay the $7 you could get

8:57 refills Mountain Deke Coke Pepsi Dr

9:01 Pepper absolutely free refills forever

9:04 there was no charge they did that for

9:05 one year that was probably about four or

9:06 five years ago and then they decided

9:09 this is not a good business model

9:10 because people like Adam the woo are

9:12 taking their $7 mug and getting five

9:15 drinks a day so I rans sacked the heck

9:18 out of the soda in that

9:20 place and I will miss that the address
