Florida Strawberry Festival 2021 Opening Day - Lots of Food & Carnival Coasters / Stuck On Dark Ride

0:04 city for the opening day of 2021's

0:08 strawberry festival now i must admit in

0:11 all the years that i lived in florida

0:13 back in the day and then now currently

0:17 i have never sat foot on this particular

0:20 event i've always heard about it

0:22 but i figured now is the time

0:25 to check it out and i'm inviting you to

0:36 opened at 10 a.m the price was 10

0:40 at the gate i got my tickets online made

0:42 a little easier they just scanned the

0:44 the barcode and parking was ten dollars

0:47 there are a lot of local places where

0:49 you can park for a fee

0:50 do not sit on the cow

0:54 the cat was only to be looked at not to

1:00 now from here i'm seeing off in the

1:00 distance there is a

1:02 ferris wheel in all honesty i had no

1:04 idea there were going to be so many

1:06 rides out here that are kind of

1:07 almost like a fair i thought it was

1:09 going to be just all strawberries and

1:11 about 20 minutes is when they open up

1:13 the midway so

1:14 at noon a little early testing is

1:16 underway safe to say a little later this

1:18 is going to be this place is going to be

1:19 a real

1:19 beehive of action just picked up my

1:22 wristband 20

1:23 unlimited rides 20 bucks well worth it

1:26 got my wristband right here you're doing

1:31 someone just won fifty dollars

1:34 these are the grandstands where they

1:36 usually will have

1:38 big entertainers and everyone will sit

1:42 and watch us where they're doing the

1:43 drawings now that i don't have any

1:48 situation they have decided against that

1:50 but the strawberry festival

1:52 is happening i'm seeing some steam over

4:16 squeaking and i it's kind of tilted

4:18 because it's just me on here so the body

4:20 isn't distributed yeah this thing is

4:21 definitely swell oh my goodness look at

6:03 seconds at the most didn't even have

6:04 time to film it was kind of comical

6:06 because it did one circle around i

6:07 thought when this thing picks up speed

13:41 you know i'm maybe one of the few people

13:42 but i actually really enjoyed

13:49 oh it has the county so this is in

13:52 hillsborough county

13:54 10 700 acres of strawberry production

13:56 with

13:57 one billion dollars of economic impact

14:01 for the county this is the berry express

14:04 and you'll see

14:06 who's driving there looks like a

14:07 strawberry is driving the berry

14:10 express and down here is some of the

14:13 plants the strawberries

14:15 mums the word on the amount of

14:18 strawberries that are produced here even

14:19 though they

14:20 stated the fact right there and over

14:22 there the guy behind the ticket booth

14:24 is also a strawberry and he's the

14:26 conductor his hat says

14:28 conductor under the railroad tracks

14:31 are little horn kernels

14:34 never seen horn kernels underneath a

14:36 railroad track before

14:38 but then again i've never seen a

14:39 strawberry driving a train

14:41 either i just have to point out you know

14:44 you see a lot of mascots of like

14:46 food that is all you know sometimes the

14:47 food they are eating they have a mascot

14:49 of said food but i've never seen a

14:51 mascot of a food item

14:52 that has a big chunk bitten out of the

14:56 side of his noggin

14:57 this right here look at that he's got an

14:59 open wound right there

15:01 on this yeah this one i don't think i've

15:04 ever seen a mascot

15:05 with a head wound like that i found the

15:08 back of the line for tickets it's going
