A Nearly PERFECT Day At Walt Disney World - Ride Closure Update & Magic Moment / My Wild Goose Chase

0:44 closing in the Parks that's what I'm

0:47 going to concentrate on I'm going to do

0:49 a lot of walking today now I'm going to

0:51 park at Transportation Ticket Center TTC

0:54 but instead of taking the Montreal or

0:55 the boat over I'm going to walk around

0:57 7even Seas Lagoon to Magic Kingdom and

0:59 then from there

1:00 I'll figure out where I'm going usually

1:02 during the end of the each year you know

1:04 December and Christmas time anything

1:05 that can be open unless a ride is

1:07 getting a complete makeover and overhaul

1:10 is open in the park so January is

1:12 completely different they start to you

1:14 know perform some maintenance on some of

1:16 the stuff so I'm going to pinpoint some

1:18 of that and just kind of enjoy the day

2:47 maintenance all them Skyliner routine

2:49 maintenance Big Thunder not too sure

2:51 about and rock and roller coaster I

2:54 think that's going to be down for a

2:55 while like months maybe I mentioned this

3:05 dream now if you ask me in July when it

3:08 is sweating profusely from every pore of

3:12 I'm loving this weather look at Mickey

3:16 kind of Limp there and Mickey's kind of

3:19 Limp but between those Double D's heavy

3:25 Mickey I think I need to start saying

3:27 that with a deeper voice like a more

3:30 voice something seur or is

3:33 aultra never knew how to pronounce that

3:35 band name would be proud of heavy metal

3:38 Mickey or maybe Testament going to walk

3:42 through the poly Polynesian

3:44 Village and if the path will allow

3:48 me I'll go over to Grand Floridian and

3:50 then from Grand Floridian over to Magic

3:53 Kingdom lots happening around these

3:56 parts please pardon our pixie dust

4:05 in the Parks and at the resorts stopped

4:05 into the Polynesian Resort coffee area

4:08 Captain Cooks to be more technical going

4:11 to get the resort blend here now as

4:13 stated sometimes normally there's a

4:15 walking path over here but the

4:17 construction might deter that so I can't

4:20 go this

4:21 way because of the construction over

4:23 there at the new DVC towers and then the

4:26 walk oh okay so they have thwarted my

4:30 plan of walking around 7even Seas it's

4:33 impossible to do at this juncture

4:35 walkway to Grand Floridian close no one

4:38 is allowed no gas allowed Beyond this

4:41 point okay fail from this angle however

4:43 there's a really good view you got the

4:44 little volcano there at the poly pool

4:47 but you can also see the Contemporary

4:48 Resort over in the this maybe I'll take

4:50 a boat across seven seas from here oh

4:52 dang take a look at this it's paus from

4:54 11:30 to 2:00 p.m. today all watercraft

4:57 service to and from the ply will be

4:58 paused from this this moment all right I

5:00 just pass a cast member and they said

5:02 the walking trail should be

5:06 open I just take the one stop over

5:09 getting a little wave there from the

5:10 front so just take this one stop over to

5:13 Grand I could just take it right to

5:14 Magic Kingdom but I feel like walking a

5:16 little bit so going to do the one stop

5:17 and then walk from Grand Floridian to

5:36 all right I'm here in the gift shop at

5:36 Grand flid and I'm noticing some new

5:37 merchandise it's almost like the four

5:39 park park hopper type of merch that I

5:41 haven't seen this is like new for 2024 I

5:45 really like it I really like the the

5:46 style of of this merch you got all four

5:49 parks there last time I was in here the

5:51 gingerbread house was up and the

5:52 Christmas tree was up the holidays are

5:54 now a thing of the past not in any Rush

5:57 no real agenda today

6:00 so taking the scenic

6:18 route I love this weather got the no

6:18 swimming

6:19 pleas I showed the castle but

6:22 also the boats going across I guess they

6:26 started running again since the last

6:28 time I saw that sign at the poy

6:33 Mountain Man I mess Space Mountain

6:36 that's better I started saying Space

6:38 Mountain that way because it's based on

6:40 the opening day here at Walt Disney

6:42 World of that attraction Space Mountain

6:45 they had Mickey out there they did a

6:47 whole fireworks presentation it was like

6:48 a whole big to-do Mickey came out and

6:52 goes I now present Space Mountain and it

6:56 sounded honestly nothing like Mickey so

7:00 that's kind of why I always say it that

7:02 way that's that's where I got that's

7:04 where I got the whole Space Mountain

7:08 from Magic Canen walkway is open from 1

7:10 hour before Park opening to 1 hour after

7:13 park closing I'm going to add in the

7:15 fact that I feel really good today maybe

7:18 it's the weather maybe it's the fact

7:19 that I'm just walking around 7 se's

7:22 Lagoon but I think it has something to

7:24 do with the fact I built that home gym

7:27 which I mentioned the other day last day

7:29 or two been kind of hitting the weights

7:31 hitting the treadmill my stress

7:34 level is since I've done that just in a

7:37 couple days I've noticed a

7:40 difference weird how that works again

7:43 just just a freaking perfect day out

7:46 here I don't want to keep reiterating

8:32 Kingdom and this whole Bridge shifts to

8:38 night now this walkway used to not exist

8:40 till a couple years ago used to not be

8:42 able to walk from over there to Magic

8:46 Kingdom but now you can I am thankful

8:48 for that now if they would

8:51 just you know do something like that

8:54 from contemporary to Transportation

8:56 Ticket Center cuz you cannot do a full

8:59 walking Loop but maybe one day they'll

9:01 Rectify that one thing on my agenda when

9:04 I get into the park over here is

9:06 Frontier land Frontier land is really

9:09 kind of turned turned sideways right now

9:12 because they are working on Tiana's byou

9:14 Adventure which used to be Splash

9:16 Mountain so that is down Big Thunder is

9:20 down whoa is that a hawk or a vulture I

9:23 don't know show that in a moment but

9:24 also country bears at the end of this

9:26 month is getting closed down and then l

9:29 in 2024 completely new songs new

9:32 characters eliminating some characters

9:34 changing some names country bears as we

9:37 know it is getting flipped over on its

9:40 head so Frontier land will be something

9:43 I'm going to show you got your wing

9:45 spread out o that is not a sign of

11:03 Main Street Vehicles trying to get

11:03 through here it's definitely a

11:06 definitely very congested they're still

11:08 out here running take a look at this as

11:12 I was mentioning a little bit ago Big

11:14 Thunder Mountain is temporarily closed

11:17 and you can't even walk up to where the

11:18 geysers are usually projectile having

11:22 the water go up even though they haven't

11:24 worked in a while they got these little

11:25 Bush things here this little like these

11:28 little movable bushes little movable

11:31 foliage stanions in the way and I don't

11:34 really know when how long big Thunder's

11:36 going to be down for but right now here

11:39 on nugget way this is as close as you

11:43 can

11:44 get and then over off in the distance of

11:47 course Splash Mountain has been gone for

11:49 a while and Tiana should

11:52 be appearing at the end of this year at

11:56 some point in 2024 see the SC

11:58 scaffolding up there which is kind of

12:00 interesting because in New Orleans where

12:02 the movie is based on there aren't any

12:04 mountains so they have completely

12:05 covered the top portion of it with

12:08 foliage to make it appear like it's not

12:11 a mountain and since they removed the

12:13 top point there it does it doesn't

12:15 really look as high as it want to it's

12:17 definitely very elevated but it doesn't

12:19 doesn't have that

12:21 towering over you perspective like it

12:23 used to do when it was Splash but it's

12:25 still it's still definitely a mountain

12:27 there's no dis there's no there's no

12:29 denying that one thing I wish they would

12:30 do here at wdw is they would add the

12:33 dynamite scene in like they have at

12:35 Disney World now there is no strong

12:38 rumors of that there's no indication

12:40 that will ever happen but it would be

12:41 nice we got hatbox ghost here finally we

12:44 got hatbox goes late last year late 2023

12:49 so putting it in there I'd like to I

12:51 like to see

12:52 the this the scene where all the

12:54 dynamite explosions is happening come to

12:56 Florida that'd be that'd be that'd be

12:58 like a a game changer for this Big

13:00 Thunder and it's kind of the same setup

13:02 as Disneyland it's just you're going in

13:04 reverse like the reverse setup of

13:06 Disneylands one of the greatest them

13:08 park ride attractions ever ever oh got

13:11 the little boats there going across Tom

13:14 Sawyers Island who know if who knows if

13:17 Tom Sawyers Island will continue to be a

13:20 thing in 5 years will there'll be a Tom

13:21 Sawyers Island some say yes some say no

13:25 fact is I have no clue

13:34 it's called Pirates layer in

13:34 California we still have Tom s's Island

13:36 here and we still have the Treehouse the

13:39 swis familyy Robinson treehouse we're

13:41 old school here but so this whole area

13:43 is still open to guests like anybody can

13:46 wander around over here yep she some

13:47 construction workers up there so

13:49 Frontier this portion of Frontier land a

13:51 little tucked away section of Frontier

13:53 land is open and I believe even maybe

13:55 the restroom facilities are opened over

13:57 there which they have opened the new

13:58 pathway way to Tiana so I'm going to

14:00 walk over there too even though there's

14:01 really there's no attractions open over

14:03 here guests can walk through here

14:04 there's people hula hooping over here

14:05 all right I was completely incorrect it

14:08 looks like the little walkway pathway

14:10 over near the restrooms behind the side

14:12 of former Splash Mountain Tiana is not

14:14 open at the moment they have it blocked

14:16 off and you go to the train station over

14:17 in Frontier land at a completely

14:19 different spot so that's kind of that's

14:21 kind of different so evidently they're

14:23 just like doing a lot of new stuff back

14:24 over there to the walkway so hopefully

14:26 in the next few weeks maybe that'll open

14:28 back up and kind of get a peek back in

14:29 there and kind of see what's going on

14:31 again progress happening all through

14:33 Frontier land Frontier land changing

14:36 including this attraction which I think

14:39 within the next week or two is going to

14:41 be drastically CH well I think it's like

14:43 10 days nine or 10 days for now A Wild

14:46 and Woolly good time singing and

14:49 stomping clapping and growling will be

14:53 changing the only constant has changed

15:17 I've been kind of looking for it I

15:18 haven't seen it these limited release

15:20 ones I guess I should probably look for

15:22 some country bear pins but yeah I'm not

15:24 seeing any of the people mover pins one

15:27 of these days I'm going to get that bag

15:29 cuz I like this pin bag all right I was

15:31 just informed I asked a cast member they

15:33 said that the people mover pin was sold

15:35 out yesterday by 5 and they don't have

15:38 any out today so evidently it's a hot

15:40 commodity and they wouldn't wouldn't

15:42 tell me when the next batch was going to

15:44 be coming in so I guess that people

15:46 mover pen is a is a is a toughy maybe

15:49 I'll go over by the people mover and see

15:50 if there's like one of those ones over

15:51 there probably not but usually usually a

15:53 lot of those limited edition pens are

15:54 here in the actual pen Trading Store at

15:56 each Park all right I just inquired

15:57 about country bear pens and they said

15:59 that they were all sold out and then one

16:01 really nice cast member said that he was

16:03 going to go look and see if they had any

16:06 so I am just for now just waiting around

16:09 in here to see what happens when he

16:12 comes back but I'll showcase a few more

16:14 of the limited edition penss cuz I

16:16 really want to get my country bear pin

16:18 fix on before all those bad boys are

16:20 gone and the ride changes all right just

16:35 oh this is like a magic moment so there

16:45 specialty ones and just because I simply

16:48 asked so it never hurts to ask because

16:51 sometimes the cast members will give you

16:53 a magic moment I was pretty surprised

19:18 put out but it is it's hard to find that

19:20 people mover pen really is monal green

19:23 now I cannot walk back over to

19:25 Transportation Ticket Center so the

19:27 monreal is the only option to get over

19:31 there a lot of people on not a lot of

19:33 people up here on the platform either at

19:35 the

20:28 aell silver pulling in

20:37 Station construction

20:43 pen Trading Store underneath spaceship

21:24 goes and as I was stating in order to

21:26 perform planned maintenance all Disney

21:28 Skyliners will be unavailable from the

21:30 16th to January 21st and of course as

21:33 I'm filming this yesterday was the 16th

21:35 today's the 17th so it's been down for

21:36 one day service to and from Disney to

21:39 and from Disney's Rivier Resort and

21:41 Epcot Center will continue and be

21:43 unavailable through January 27th and it

21:45 is a little odd not to see the momentum

21:48 and hear the momentum of the

21:51 Skyliner going from there in fact I

21:53 don't even see any parked in there I was

21:55 thinking maybe they would be like up in

21:57 the air right there but they're not so

22:00 they must have taken them all off of

22:03 the the tracks well not the tracks but

22:06 the steel rope up there the steel pieces

22:11 look there's nothing even in the little

22:14 Al Cove area or maybe they're all at the

22:17 main section I'll check when I get over

22:18 to Studios too I'm going to walk to

22:20 Studios I'm not going to take the

22:22 friendship I could take the Friendship

22:23 boat but I'm going to walk it yeah it is

22:31 have decorated they have adorned the

22:33 floor with a Hidden Mickey here made out

22:46 great I've never seen a Skyliner out of

23:57 dolphin well that's the dolphin that's

24:01 Swan and this is the walkway to

24:06 Hollywood Studio Hollywood Studios right

24:10 underneath that road there where the bus

24:13 station is and I probably end up taking

24:15 one of the buses to Transportation

24:18 Ticket Center but there's a little

24:19 sidewalk here that runs parallel to this

24:21 road and you can get a view

24:25 here of where the Skyliner

24:28 turnaround is so you got Riviera is that

24:31 way then you got World gateway to World

24:34 Showcase Epcot over that way and this is

24:37 the turnaround this is not let on or

24:39 off it just is the turning point and you

24:43 can see there hard none at the station

24:47 and none

24:49 on the little Gondola steel ropes steel

24:53 beams cuz there are alligators snakes in

24:56 the area do not feed the Wildlife but

24:59 you can get an eye full of the

25:02 Friendship boats that go

25:04 by got a little wave and a little little

25:09 bellage ringing the bell that's a

25:11 friendship six right there no sign of

25:14 any Skyliner

25:21 buckets pretty good view from here

25:21 though too take a look over here at the

25:22 front entrance to Hollywood

25:24 Studios kind of silhouetted out with the
