0:18 mouth I have just eaten breakfast a

0:22 wonderful breakfast that they actually

0:24 prepared right there at the desert in

0:27 some of the best bacon I can safely say

0:29 I've ever had in my entire life in fact

0:31 I complimented the cook and I

0:33 complimented the waitress and I

0:35 complimented the owner's girlfriend in

0:37 there on how great the bacon was that

0:41 car is driving very fast obviously he

0:44 does not know about the wonderful bacon

0:47 and eggs that were prepared in this

0:51 little Motel SL hotel it is a motel it's

0:54 called the desert in motel but you're

0:57 not allowed to stay upstairs anymore

0:59 because it has has an interesting

1:01 history that you will be finding out

1:03 soon enough through the beauty of this

1:05 lens I stayed on this property last

1:09 night all night and I stayed right here

1:11 in the

1:21 sh I stayed in room number

1:21 three right here at the desert in motel

1:25 restaurant and bar and I love this

1:27 little office sign that's on it's been

1:29 on all night

1:30 long very cool you can see there's not

1:33 really a lot of people out here this is

1:34 at the junction of Highway 441 State

1:37 Road 50 and a lonely Turnpike Toll Road

1:42 exit right down the road down there the

1:45 amazing thing is how incredibly busy

1:48 this thorough fair is not so busy right

1:50 now but later in the day there will be a

1:52 plethora of trucks tons of 18 wheelers

1:56 driving up and down these roads at that

1:58 crossroads and I'm guessing that's the

2:00 main reason this place is actually

2:02 existed I don't want to give too much

2:03 away there is an incredible amount of

2:06 History not only in these quote unquote

2:09 Bungalows they call them the Outback

2:11 Motel which was created in 1930s but

2:14 also in this building which was created

2:15 in 1925 this used to be all dirt roads

2:19 at one time and this actually used to be

2:21 called something other than yeeha

2:23 Junction but we'll talk about that later

2:26 hopefully going to edit today and get up

2:44 early but we stayed in this room we

3:03 night this is it these are our beds of

3:07 course we took the comforters off and

3:09 laid them on the ground but these are

3:11 the beds we slept in he slept in this

3:18 mirrors on my side and none on his side

3:21 and I was thinking I wonder if people

3:23 could see through the walls maybe that's

3:26 a two-way mirror or maybe there's a hole

3:29 behind I think can maybe there was some

3:30 kind of a little bit of ruffiage in here

3:32 and someone smashed a hole in the wall

3:34 so they've just patched it with two

3:36 mirrors and check this out look at this

3:38 there's no light in the

3:40 bathroom no light there's no light in

3:43 there oh wait a second let me close this

3:46 let me close this when I first came in

3:48 here this really freaked me out when I

3:51 first walked in and check a look at this

3:53 imagine if this was your view when you

3:55 check into a hotel

5:32 night so that's basically it that's the

5:35 hotel

5:46 room pretty cool let me get a shot out

6:00 window so spent here last night stay my

6:00 buddy he came out helped me film a

6:03 little bit with this I used the slider a

6:05 little bit it rained incessantly all

6:09 night long it rained so much last night

6:12 which is very disappointing I was hoping

6:13 to get some outside shots last night so

6:16 we ended up having to do a lot of

6:17 filming this morning got up super early

6:19 about 5:30 I Woke Up filmed a bunch out

6:22 here I don't want to give too much away

6:25 actually got inside actually got

6:27 upstairs had a great meal great food

6:30 definitely was not disappointed with my

6:32 experience here at the desert end so if

6:34 you're ever in the area make sure you

6:36 stop in and tell them Adam the wo sent

6:38 you they get a thumbs up for me the new

6:40 management that's here is very cool very

6:42 friendly tell them I said hello right

6:55 I was sleeping last night next to me
