0:55 horse-drawn carriages they had them up

0:57 towards the top of Market Street

1:00 but now they have them on this end

1:01 because last time there was an art show

1:02 now where I'm heading is over to one of

1:04 the churches that is having a Bethlehem

1:06 experience and a live nativity

1:10 this place will be a lot busier later on

1:11 it's literally layers of fake snow on

1:14 the ground or they do the snope that

1:15 falls from the sky up here a little bit

1:18 later but beforehand they will layer

1:21 lots of fake snow right here they come

1:23 in here with like a machine I've seen to

1:24 do it during the day and then they will

1:26 like spray this down almost like they're

1:28 pressure washing but it's not pressure

1:29 washing it's putting out this snoke

1:32 you see up there on the on the clock

1:34 it's like you know 5 35 give or take

1:37 kind of curious how many people are

1:38 going to be down here a little later on

6:05 oh even here on so this is the Community

6:07 Presbyterian church and I always like

6:08 walking by here sometimes I'll just run

6:10 around here and always look at the

6:11 little you know the clever sayings they

6:13 will have on here this isn't really

6:15 clever though this is definitely more

6:16 for the holiday season a long time ago

6:18 and a guy oh it is clever and a Galilee

6:21 far far away it kicks off tonight 6 p.m

6:24 to 9 p.m December 8th through 10th so

6:27 today's December 8th

6:29 and it goes for tonight tomorrow and the

6:32 next night from six to nine PM the live

6:34 nativity shows

6:36 are every half hour so it would be 6 30

6:39 7 30 and and 8 30 with shows down here a

6:44 living Christmas experience free for the

6:46 entire family right here Bethlehem and

6:49 they are

6:50 promoting 250 000 Lights music food and

6:53 Alive Nativity we've got these

6:55 centurions here all dressed up

7:03 also about a half hour before the live

7:03 nativity starts off so I'm just kind of

7:06 walking around the neighborhood I don't

7:07 know if I ever walk down the street

7:08 before but there's a a little manger

7:10 scene there

7:11 I've noticed traffic is getting pretty

7:14 pretty congested not on this road but on

7:16 the main road that leads into town over

7:18 there by the church there are a couple

7:19 main little thoroughfares that run

7:21 through town that get pretty backed up

7:23 here's Santa

7:28 Snoopy over there

7:28 McKean Mini

7:30 but once you get off a couple of those

7:32 main roads

7:34 most of the other roads are just like

7:35 this there's like never anyone on some

7:37 of these little side streets

7:39 look at this Snowman the Snowman does it

7:42 have any eyes nose or mouth yet one

7:44 thing I will state is downtown

7:47 celebration gets pretty congested

7:50 sometimes as far as the parking goes

7:52 also there's another sign over on this

7:54 side so when they are having events

7:56 whether it be you know Halloween

7:57 Christmas time things like this

8:00 sometimes you just gotta like go into

8:01 some of the neighborhoods and find

8:02 street parking because some of the main

8:04 Lots fill up pretty quickly

8:07 it's always wise to get to the no no pun

8:10 in 10 because there's gonna be wise men

8:11 over here at Nativity but it's always

8:12 wise to get here a little early in find

8:14 parking you got the lights on inside so

8:16 you're really able to see the stained

8:18 glass windows here

8:24 I do love some stained glass windows on

8:25 and fun fact there's a little placard up

8:27 here this church was dedicated to Walt

8:30 Disney and his brother Roy by their

8:33 niece and a little placard has been

8:36 placed on the side of it at homage to

8:39 Walton Roy here in celebration pretty

8:41 awesome and when you enter in you are

8:43 taxes centurions hand you a plate with

8:45 like a little coin and this you have to

8:47 pay your own money like it's a free

8:49 admission but you have to pay a tax like

8:50 it's part of the theming you just

8:52 basically walk in and pay the taxes

9:04 little shops and stuff they even have a

9:04 lot of animals

9:06 starting up now is being threatened I

9:10 have been approached by wise men these

9:13 Magi and study the celestial skies and

9:17 they have warned me that a king is to be

13:21 maybe Jesus was missing

13:24 and I thought maybe that someone had

13:25 stolen

13:28 stolen the piece of the nativity

13:31 but then

13:32 a couple people suggested that maybe

13:34 he's not placed there until Christmas

13:36 Eve

13:38 but now that kind of goes out the window

13:40 because he's there right now and it's

13:43 not Christmas Eve yet so I don't know

13:48 I think someone just stole baby Jesus

13:48 last year this

13:51 is what we're dealing with looks like

13:53 some sausage on here pepperoni Peppers

13:56 probably should only got one slice but I

13:59 think my eyes are bigger than my belly I

14:00 end up getting this slice too has a

14:02 little tomato it might be spinach

14:05 on that one as well

14:08 pretty greasy but

14:10 I eat there pretty often

14:13 I don't know every couple weeks or so if

14:15 I'm in town I grab a couple slices

14:17 maybe even less of maybe even more than

14:19 every couple of weeks

14:21 so one of the few quick services

14:24 that are in downtown celebration there's

14:26 a lot of restaurants

14:28 are really not a lot of Quick Serve

14:30 Quick Service

14:35 that's really good

14:35 like I said it's a little greasy but

14:38 it's all part of the experience

14:42 pretty dang good slice of the closing

14:44 pie

14:45 after to go with uh

14:48 spinach

14:50 I'm not sure what the kind of cheese

14:51 that's on there ricotta cheese

14:53 tomatoes

15:02 could always also take the other slice

15:02 back to my place have them for leftovers

15:04 later and the mosquitoes aren't too bad

15:06 out here tonight either sometimes

15:08 the summertime the mosquitoes can be

15:10 pretty prevalent but no mosquitoes

15:12 certain other lakes around central

15:14 you get anywhere near them the

15:16 mosquitoes are just all over me but here

15:18 I don't it doesn't seem to be

15:20 as bad maybe it's just the Magic in

15:25 have some kind of system to eliminate

15:27 the mosquitoes one thing about living

15:29 down here it's almost like living in a

15:31 theme park of sorts almost like you're

15:33 on like Main Street USA at Disney like

15:35 you got this little chocolate place here

15:37 called Kilt once it has ice cream and

15:39 whatnot well chocolate bars and cookies

15:41 and candies and peanut brittle and

15:44 things like that little caramel apples

15:46 over here very tempting I think I'm

15:48 going to get a couple scoops of ice

15:49 cream but they also have bear claws

15:50 pecan Snappers and even some fudge and

15:55 they even have a Merry Christmas signage

15:57 up top there too with old Jolly Old

15:59 Saint Nick right here all wrapped in

16:01 little tin foil now I've heard the

16:03 lyrics to the to the song about leaving

16:05 a peppermint stick her Old Saint Nick

16:07 about leaving a peppermint stick piece

16:09 of fudge for Old Saint Nick and he would

16:11 get a tummy ache here like if you eat

16:13 fudge I can only have like one little

16:14 Bay before I start to get a little bit

16:25 I'm gonna get a scoop of mint chocolate

17:22 adjacent to the theater which has not

17:24 been open in 10 years every once in a

17:27 while I'll get ice cream not too often

17:28 but every once I'll pop in also fun fact

17:30 if you're ever in this neck of the woods

17:32 you need to find out restroom facilities

17:34 they have a bathroom in here there's one

17:35 in here and there's one at the

17:36 Cornerstone Deli on Market Street

17:38 there's not a lot of restrooms but those

17:42 two always always accommodate

17:46 figure out a pass the past the word

17:48 they have the streets blocked off down

17:50 here too so I could walk in the middle

17:53 of course I have to watch out for horse

17:54 strong carriages but and we'll trains

17:56 but yeah and it is definitely a lot

17:58 mellower down here on a Thursday night

18:00 versus a Friday Saturday and Sunday so

18:01 if you want to see the snow this is the

18:08 holidays it's probably a little less

18:10 crowded than a Friday Saturday and

18:16 tonight kind of kind of mellow it's busy
