0:02 today's adventure begins by walking
0:02 close to this Goose here at Lake Eola as
0:05 a recording of the Saturday November
0:07 26th
0:08 2022 chowing down
0:11 on possibly some acorns or something out
0:13 of this tree right here
0:16 along Lake Eola
0:18 which has a Christmas tree over there in
0:20 the distance because it is the Christmas
0:22 season
0:24 and that's a tie-in
0:26 to today's video Welcome everyone Adam
0:28 dewoo here with world of Micah once
0:32 again
0:32 we are going to this neck of the woods
0:35 we have been here many times to document
0:38 what has happened to the Ernest Saves
0:40 Christmas house but we have never done
0:44 together you and I felt the complete
0:47 filming locations well that's probably
0:50 three quarters complete We're not gonna
0:51 go to each and every spot we're going to
0:52 go to the majority of the spots from the
0:54 1988 Christmas classic yep now it can be
0:58 watched on Disney plus right yeah yeah
1:00 because before a lot of stuff a lot of
1:02 people might not have seen it but now
1:05 this Touchstone pictures it's online
1:06 anybody can watch it yeah I did the
1:09 filming location 10 years ago in Spring
1:11 of 2012 you did them shortly shortly
1:14 after that like 2015 I believe yeah so
1:17 it's been a while since and we have
1:19 never been to all the spots together
1:21 there are some spots Micah discovered
1:23 that I have never seen probably a couple
1:25 spots you might not have known about
1:27 from seeing my video yep so we're just
1:29 going to kind of tag team it to that
1:30 that's it we're gonna do this once again
1:33 34 years after the film was released
1:36 it's gonna be a lot of fun it is 24
1:39 years ago was when I did no 20 the 24
1:42 year anniversary yes kind of sort of is
1:44 when I did my video 10 years ago so
1:45 every 10 years ago we should do this
1:47 that's right it should be something we
1:49 could do
1:49 all right I'm inviting you to join me
1:51 and world of mica for the earnest States
1:53 Christmas filming locations
1:55 shall you it's a long intro a little bit
1:59 yeah I should also mention this is going
2:00 to be film basically out of order
2:03 so I just want to show that you can go
2:05 to most of these spots in one day a lot
2:07 of them are kind of in the same general
2:08 area a couple are going to be have to
2:10 drive a bit too but a lot of them are
2:12 near downtown but they're not going to
2:14 be in sequence of the film starting off
2:16 here with this scene which is when Jim
2:19 Varney
2:20 dressed as the older elderly lady was
2:23 walking up these very stairs into this
2:26 building located at 215 North Eola drive
2:29 right here and I'm not going to show I'm
2:31 not going to insert too many string
2:33 screen grabs and stuff but I'll show a
2:35 few just to kind of give a little
2:37 little estimation but I think the line
2:39 I'm just kind of going off of memory was
2:41 like these stairs might as be might as
2:45 well be
2:46 Mount Everest is that alive
2:50 as well
2:51 you were saying on the driveway as we
2:53 were driving over here we met up and
2:54 we're both driving together how this
2:57 area of Orlando has kind of stayed the
2:59 same where everything else has kind of
3:00 changed
3:02 and fun fact from here is where the
3:05 house used to be so it's just walking
3:07 distance so if you find a parking spot
3:08 in this area like we did you can kind of
3:10 go that way in that direction to where
3:12 the house used to be let's see if I can
3:13 find a photo from from this angle
3:15 and Micah has pulled up a photo here
3:19 now Jim Varney used this character many
3:21 many times and other
3:22 other specials that he did
3:28 but he brought it obviously I think as
3:28 far as most popular and probably the
3:30 most seen Earnest anything
3:33 was Ernest Saves Christmas and probably
3:36 the the best movie best made money-wise
3:39 and production value-wise of all of them
3:42 I kind of have to wonder you think they
3:45 did the Interiors in here that was on a
3:46 sound stage
3:47 they might as well have done them in
3:49 here man I think might I mean it's kind
3:50 of hard to tell there is a reception
3:52 desk there but it looks nothing like it
3:53 did yeah that's true I've never looked
3:55 in here it's tough to see because I mean
3:56 they probably filmed a lot of that on it
3:58 on a Sound Stage when he goes up and
4:00 actually goes inside but he did walk
4:02 right up these very stops okay this is
4:03 kind of interesting we were just
4:04 watching the scene this is the same
4:07 railing as well not only the same
4:09 railing but you can see him walk past I
4:11 know we're nerds talking about the
4:12 railings but this is screen used right
4:15 there as well as you know it's a lawyer
4:19 now
4:20 but they changed the wording on that
4:22 they just put a different sign over the
4:23 top of those and those are the same same
4:25 little lanterns
4:27 fun fact
4:29 yeah just a couple blocks away on the
4:30 corner of higher and Washington Street
4:34 is where Ernest house used to be now I
4:38 must say it looks nothing
4:39 like it did when the movie was out and
4:42 I've documented this through the
4:43 progression
4:44 of how things have changed over the
4:46 years kind of sat in kind of a bad
4:49 condition really run down
4:52 for a long time and there were rumors
4:54 they were going to tear it down
4:56 and the rumors came true the house is
4:58 gone now the house next to it is from
5:01 the same era so it kind of looks similar
5:03 to that time frame of when Ernest house
5:05 was here the driveway
5:07 still the same driveway with all the
5:09 cracks down that hasn't been replaced
5:10 yet
5:11 Mike and I did an update on this how
5:13 many six months ago maybe yeah they
5:15 really haven't done much since then to
5:17 this I thought it'd be finished by now
5:20 but right here was the house and then of
5:21 course behind
5:23 so this building could be seen when the
5:25 truck pulls out behind over here and I
5:27 think this building too so the truck
5:29 pulls out and then drives right down
5:31 this way the thing that gives it away is
5:32 in that opening scene where the reveal
5:35 of the earnest mailbox right here ironsp
5:37 World mailbox was right here on the
5:39 corner and the yard was kind of
5:41 decorated not quite as much as Pee-Wee's
5:44 house from peewee's Big Adventure but it
5:46 kind of had that Vibe yeah in a way he
5:48 definitely embraced the holidays but
5:50 when the truck pulled out you know it
5:51 still has the Cobblestone Brick Road
5:52 here and these two houses over here
5:55 still look exactly the same
5:57 there is kind of a look at what the
6:00 house looked like then there's ernest's
6:01 mailbox right there looks a lot
6:03 different now
6:05 I don't want to spend too much time here
6:06 because we've kind of dwelled on this
6:07 over the past
6:08 five or ten years we had to throw this
6:11 up okay I noticed another scene before
6:13 you see the houses I just kind of
6:15 pinpointed out when the truck backs up
6:16 there's another house for a brief moment
6:18 that's shown over here that's been
6:20 repainted
6:21 but take a look at the staircase that
6:23 wooden staircase that wooden staircase
6:25 and the back garage area over there
6:27 still looks the same too even though
6:29 it's been repainted definitely been
6:31 repainted but still has the angle
6:34 here kind of the V shape or the A-frame
6:37 I should say and then the staircase
6:39 right beside it
6:49 okay two more nerdy little things I've
6:49 noticed here so down here is the
6:51 sidewalk that connects with another
6:53 sidewalk that leads up to the house but
6:55 then over behind me notice there's a
6:58 tree in the yard a palm tree in the yard
7:00 that's been torn out and there's a sign
7:01 on that but there's another tree that's
7:03 in front of that other house on that
7:05 corner so keep those in mind and here
7:07 was where
7:08 the sidewalk was that led up to Earnest
7:11 so the camera would have been over there
7:14 on the porch area looking this way so
7:16 you go this way and that other tree I
7:18 was talking about has been uprooted it
7:20 was right here there was another tree
7:22 right there
7:24 I wonder if you can see the roots
7:32 who knows when that tree was ripped out
7:33 though no it's yeah it's like hidden
7:35 it's under all this foliage
7:46 all right moving on still going along
7:46 parallel to Lake Eola
7:48 this building over here
7:50 well not this angle which looks like
7:52 there's a space available here
7:56 but this building here
7:58 is used as
8:00 some of the spots where they were
8:01 running out from the jail
8:03 around the back and it was this parking
8:05 lot obviously it's been repaved that
8:06 they ran out Harmony Santa and Earnest
8:10 right over here next to the truck in
8:12 fact you can see from this angle you can
8:13 see the trees have grown up quite a bit
8:15 but you can see right there the other
8:17 buildings over there and they run out of
8:19 this this parking garage still looks the
8:21 same all these years later across this
8:23 road and actually it's kind of way over
8:24 here on this far end of the parking lot
8:27 you can see downtown Skyline over there
8:29 but there was a vehicle here that was
8:31 parked they run around the vehicle you
8:33 see that it's a super zoom lens so the
8:35 camera was kind of farther back than
8:37 where we're standing and then the angles
8:40 like this with the Ernest truck there
8:42 now over at the corner of Orange Avenue
8:44 and pine now in the movie there used to
8:47 be a big building right here that has
8:48 been burned down or torn down for many
8:50 many years it was kind of difficult to
8:53 match up the only exception of things
8:54 you can match up are the very unique
8:56 stylings of the sidewalk over there
8:58 which I'll show in a minute and there
9:00 was a restaurant over here which used to
9:02 be a sports memorabilia store and that
9:05 was well the restaurant in the movie but
9:07 in real in the next to the restaurant
9:09 was a sports member abelia store for the
9:11 Orlando Magic and that is where Harmony
9:13 star tried to run out on her check right
9:16 over there so we're gonna kind of walk
9:18 over to this section as well and also
9:20 this was the corner where
9:24 Ernest who's driving a taxi abruptly
9:26 stops in the middle of the road I
9:28 believe it was like right about here
9:30 it's kind of like right in this section
9:32 they were kind of driving along this
9:34 area and then he hit the brakes right
9:36 here am I right remembering that yep
9:40 all right yeah so there's the awning
9:41 over there tanquerays is what it's
9:44 called now and they it was even called
9:46 it then because it's been open oh it's
9:47 been open since 89. that's interesting
9:49 so tangaray is open one year after
9:53 Ernest opened in the theaters this says
9:55 for lease oh that's interesting and then
9:58 this is the this is the fire hydrant
10:00 right here
10:02 so it probably really was for lease yeah
10:05 but you'll notice that side of the road
10:07 you can see very very clear in the film
10:10 itself you know these little
10:12 kind of octagon
10:15 sidewalk sections
10:17 which those are original over there
10:26 this side
10:26 has been redone you can say this is like
10:28 newer
10:29 newer style as well
10:37 if you're gonna run out on a lunch tap
10:37 make sure you do it when Ernest is
10:39 driving by in a taxi perfect timing so
10:41 there's the building there that's been
10:43 torn down
10:44 it looks like there's been a number of
10:46 different restaurants but she ran right
10:47 out of here
10:49 and wear that Orlando Magic sign what
10:51 was it called Orlando fanatic
10:54 The Fanatic the sign was like up here
10:57 attic like it's an attic so this would
11:00 have been the this would have been the
11:02 store here I know this was the store
11:04 this is the store this is an apartment
11:06 and then this was where she comes out
11:08 and runs off and meets up with Ernest in
11:11 the taxi and even dating back way before
11:13 the film this used to be Elijah hand
11:16 furniture
11:17 so the information placard here they
11:19 made caskets
11:29 also on Orange Avenue they did a lot of
11:29 driving scenes where they're in the taxi
11:33 and the harmony star you know Santa
11:38 or Ernest tells Harmony that the other
11:41 passenger is Santa was all kind of along
11:43 there
11:44 surprised
11:46 surprise
11:48 surprise surprise and in front of the
11:50 Orlando Magic store is the Deli Downtown
11:53 side evidently set dressing or possibly
11:56 there really was a place that was a deli
11:59 down here
12:00 the camera would have been exactly where
12:02 where I'm at at this moment and she was
12:05 conversating with the waiter right here
12:07 and then ran off this building is only
12:10 used for a very brief moment maybe like
12:12 a three second clip
12:14 five second clip where they're having
12:16 the meeting with with Joe at the top up
12:19 here
12:24 the Bank building now
12:24 a very unique structure just outside
12:26 down I mean technically it is in
12:28 downtown but it's kind of separated from
12:30 the other skyscrapers
12:38 kind of the angle that they use is so
12:38 it's kind of like that
12:40 I remember correctly the beard grew back
12:42 we got to go by the museum also which is
12:44 where the the air brake scene was as
12:46 well this is where he's looking out the
12:48 window and he sees the snow
12:50 and he has a change of heart he looks
12:52 out the window here and he's just like
12:54 he was right snowing in Orlando snowing
12:57 in Orlando the fun thing about Ernest
12:59 Saves Christmas but this is not a
13:01 fictional Town Orlando's not setting in
13:03 for like somewhere else in the U.S right
13:05 they actually do state it being in
13:07 Orlando and Joe's manager is looking at
13:10 him and he's like Joe what is with you
13:14 so dramatic that's pretty good
13:17 that was a good that was a good
13:19 impression
13:20 I thought we drove East to Town East of
13:22 Orlando about probably 20 miles to Lake
13:25 Mary
13:26 we are now at the Fox 35
13:30 news station
13:32 and I have to hand it to Micah on
13:34 discovering this a couple years ago
13:41 he figured out that this
13:41 was where Ernest pulled up in the apapa
13:44 Apopka Snake Farm truck
13:46 over here
13:48 and where they were filming Christmas
13:50 sleigh yeah was inside there most likely
13:54 filmed the Interiors in there as well
13:57 so the front of the building looks a
13:58 little bit different but a few things
14:00 match up including the palm trees over
14:02 and I'm gonna kind of walk around the
14:04 perimeter of the property and kind of
14:06 show some of the
14:08 the why don't we use the word stanchion
14:10 the stanchion that matches up over there
14:12 and the window and the door from that
14:14 side poison
14:16 poison
14:24 that's where the horror film be I don't
14:24 know if I could pick a favorite scene in
14:26 the movie but that this here is probably
14:29 one of that character
14:31 hilarious here's a little perspective of
14:33 it there's the door bay door over there
14:35 they set up a little guard shack it was
14:37 stage five in the movie that of course
14:39 they've spray painted over that or
14:41 painted over it
14:42 but it was stage five there
14:45 like where Santa Claus is in the back of
14:46 the truck pretending to be rattlesnakes
15:10 in fact that pole there
15:10 is where Santa
15:12 ran into a another Santa
15:15 impersonating himself in fact the middle
15:18 pole there
15:19 that's right that's where the truck was
15:21 and where the
15:22 showdown of the Sanders took place right
15:25 there there's the pole
15:27 I kind of get to try to get the correct
15:28 angle also I'll also show this so when
15:31 Jim Varney gets out notice the two
15:33 double doors on that one side and then
15:35 this vent
15:36 those are still there where he pulls out
15:38 before walking down to the the open bay
15:40 door
15:41 as well looks like they've removed the
15:43 vent and placed it with just a regular
15:45 window now
15:50 so the vent is gone there on the far
15:50 left there but those doors are still the
15:52 same
15:53 and the pillar that Santa
15:57 is having the
15:58 meeting up with the other Santa is right
16:06 that's it it's got a lizard on it now
16:06 you'll notice there is this kind of a
16:09 reddish orange building that has been
16:11 replaced
16:12 where Jim Barney Earnest's truck was
16:15 parked kind of in front of I believe now
16:17 there's an awning here so this awning
16:21 that's right there
16:22 that is kind of in the general area
16:25 where it was but the palm trees are
16:27 still over there and there's the the bay
16:30 you gotta do you got to do your gotta do
16:34 the moment you want a snake you want one
16:36 for your boy
16:38 I gave one of my boy once Harry
16:58 you want to explain how you figured out
16:58 that this was the spot
17:00 yep so Orlando Sentinel had a newspaper
17:04 article about Earnest in them filming in
17:06 Orlando and they said that
17:07 wofl Fox 35 used to show bumpers of
17:11 earnest in commercials I don't know if
17:13 he was promoting wofl Fox 35 or what
17:16 probably and so I got on street view I
17:19 found this street zoomed in on that
17:21 building and I saw that big garage door
17:24 and that was it there's
17:26 because how many buildings that look
17:28 like that
17:29 so for those who do not know Ernest jump
17:30 Varney would he be created the character
17:32 of earnest him and John Cherry John
17:34 Cherry who was the director and the
17:36 writer and
17:37 filmed all the commercials and movies
17:39 basically they started doing smaller
17:41 markets so they do a lot of stuff in the
17:43 Midwest
17:44 and evidently they were doing some stuff
17:46 here in Florida as well I remember
17:48 WDBJ7 your hometown station was one he'd
17:51 always promote so probably he did a fox
17:54 was a Fox 35 or just back there too or I
17:57 think it's just that wofl wofl yeah so
18:01 that's kind of how and that's probably
18:02 how they got access because they were
18:04 promoting this during the commercials so
18:06 they were probably able to use this
18:08 as well and Mike and I both realized
18:11 there's a spot we can't really get to
18:12 but it's on Walt Disney World property
18:14 it is where the the earnest worked at
18:17 the taxi Place yeah but you can't really
18:19 get to it it's kind of sort of Backstage
18:21 it's where the cast members park for
18:24 their job at Magic Kingdom that's where
18:26 the taxi headquarters was oh but also by
18:29 the way Vern's house was on the former
18:32 Backlot of MGM Studios the they call it
18:35 cologne it was a Colonials residential
18:36 residential street
18:38 Vern's house you should be able to see
18:39 from the tram and that is where he he
18:42 pulls up and goes into Vern's house and
18:44 all that fun fact doing a little
18:46 research on satellite view going back to
18:49 older images if you walk into oga's
18:51 Cantina right when you walk into oga's
18:54 Cantina you're walking into Vern's house
18:55 the filming location of Vern's house
18:57 from Ernest Saves Christmas when you
18:59 found that out he sent me a text message
19:01 told me I was like I just want to go
19:03 there so I can walk into Vern's house no
19:05 relation to Star Wars
19:12 yeah so when you're walking in Olga's
19:12 at Batu East you are walking in the same
19:16 exact spot as the front door of Vern's
19:18 house from Ernest Saves Christmas
19:20 also on Disney plus we'll tie it now we
19:23 made it over near the Orlando Science
19:25 Center
19:26 to the Shakespeare Center
19:29 and this almost looks like the type of
19:31 crane they could have used probably to
19:32 get some some good angles there
19:34 when Earnest is being filmed here and
19:37 this is where the climactic ending of
19:39 the scene the air brake scene and all
19:41 that took place
19:42 and some of the Interiors took place in
19:44 here as well and where Joe came back and
19:48 decided he was going to be Santa Claus
19:51 yeah he shook the hands with Santa right
19:53 over here they did the handshake and uh
19:57 all of a sudden everything grew back you
19:58 have the Santa suit on and the beard
20:02 magically grew back and therefore
20:04 posterity is the handshake from the old
20:06 Santa to the new Santa
20:09 right here in the little walkway in
20:11 there's the handshake spot right there
20:14 just about kind of at that angle
20:17 the thing is interesting the air brakes
20:19 part so you got the handshake here and
20:21 then Earnest comes down from the heavens
20:23 very quickly and then
20:27 air brakes
20:29 but the thing that's neat is behind Jim
20:31 Varney's head you can see the sphere at
20:34 the Shakespeare dome which is lit up
20:36 with Christmas lights
20:38 in the film itself
20:40 and just kind of a wide angle with the
20:42 camera
20:43 kind of over that direction kind of
20:45 getting a
20:46 a better view of the the entire property
20:49 itself or the air brake scene as shown
20:51 here so there's the sphere
20:53 there's the entrance there's Santa
20:55 sleigh going to complete perpend the
20:58 perpendicular angle there
21:00 reindeered on nose almost touching the
21:02 ground
21:04 air brakes and there's the angle of what
21:06 it looks like modern day
21:09 as of this very moment then the camera
21:11 angle shifts to look down at all four of
21:13 them kind of I was saying about the
21:15 having the crane they're kind of
21:16 standing over at the entrance there so
21:19 if that crane was a little closer over
21:21 to here
21:22 you'd be able to see
21:25 the four of them standing right there
21:28 they were like kind of in the same spot
21:31 now I'm noticing this the Orlando sign
21:34 is gone but notice about Jim Varney's
21:36 head here the Christmas lights on those
21:38 two little
21:39 there's like two roof lines so you got
21:41 the two rows of Lights
21:44 that rude little two roof lines is still
21:46 so see right up here
21:48 there's two sections it's the lights
21:51 we're going across one section there and
21:53 one section
21:54 directly above it
21:57 yep a little makeshift
22:00 desk right there
22:13 this is cool cool Santa walks into the
22:13 door right here and there's a Christmas
22:15 tree in here that's the door I haven't
22:17 been in here like 10 years try to figure
22:19 out where Joe's classroom was where he
22:22 was teaching and doing the puppet show
22:23 do you remember where Joe's classroom
22:25 was
22:26 slow down
22:31 I know they walked down that hallway and
22:31 I believe through those double doors
22:34 they were nice enough to let us in but
22:36 they said they're doing a rehearsal for
22:38 a play because it is a an area so the
22:41 doors down there which we think is where
22:42 Joe's author Joe's room was that he was
22:45 doing the
22:46 the puppet show and all that in was down
22:48 there through those doors now all this
22:50 has been remodeled and it is the season
22:52 they have the there's a tree in the
22:54 village right there too
22:56 oh it's in that same spot yeah look for
22:58 some reason I was thinking the tree was
23:01 oh it's over in that corner
23:03 oh my gosh that is on the same exact
23:05 spot so you got the door over there it
23:08 was just a single door right
23:33 yeah we asked the people working at the
23:33 front desk how people come by they said
23:35 not too many
23:36 so when people find out that the movie
23:38 was filmed here they're kind of
23:45 and you see a lot of times there's like
23:45 stuff happens right along this little
23:47 sidewalk here as well
23:49 a number of different scenes take place
23:51 right here where he's pulling up hey
23:53 babe park it in the shade throws the
23:54 keys over at the over at the mailman
23:57 yeah and Micah was pointing out that
23:59 these benches most of them have been
24:01 removed
24:02 but a lot of them you can see when
24:03 they're doing the handshaking scene
24:05 there's like
24:06 six or seven of these out front and this
24:09 is similar to that same era take a look
24:10 down here it even has Orlando carved on
24:14 this looks like a lot more permanent
24:16 than the ones
24:17 that's definitely the same era though
24:19 yeah
24:21 I had the two and then they added
24:23 another one
24:25 at the bottom
24:27 part of that little
24:29 seat
24:30 it's the same old
24:32 they used to be white
24:34 yeah they're doing a little performance
24:35 here or practicing for the Shakespeare
24:37 Center but where
24:40 Joe's puppet show took place
24:42 there was like a bookcase kind of
24:44 against here and you see these windows
24:46 here but it could be on the other side I
24:49 think it's that one could be that one
24:50 right there right there because it's on
24:51 the if he's standing in the back room
24:53 it's on his left that's true because
24:55 when he when they walk down the hallway
24:57 this way they turn in that way past the
25:01 fire hydrant into the door and you don't
25:03 see those windows you see a mural which
25:06 we asked the people working at the desk
25:08 in there the mural's been painted over
25:09 but they walk in you see the mural and
25:12 then later they look this way at those
25:14 windows where that bouquet says now
25:16 looking at this you really do coordinate
25:18 and definitely guarantees our opinion
25:20 pretty much is correct because the mural
25:24 is to the side of where this big window
25:27 is and then there's this here
25:29 which is the longer window so you have
25:32 hallway there where they turn in they go
25:34 that way painting against this wall
25:37 there's that long
25:39 almost like a door-shaped window and
25:41 then there's the top portion there which
25:43 matches up completely so against this
25:45 wall here facing that way is the mural
25:49 and you can peek in that window and just
25:52 to confirm in that that is the hallway
25:54 they walked in was it the air brake
25:56 scene used in the trailer
25:58 I think that was like a big either maybe
26:00 it just etched in my head it touched in
26:02 my head too that's like a big scene yeah
26:04 air brakes laughs
26:07 we've now made it over to the Amtrak
26:10 station
26:11 and it still looks exactly the same
26:14 we're the general vicinity where Harmony
26:17 star was over here and walked across
26:20 with Santa's sack
26:23 walking across this way
26:25 and she had to change her heart inside
26:27 the actual station itself
26:30 so we're gonna walk inside see if the
26:32 station still looks the same
26:34 after all this time but the angle from
26:36 the movie was kind of that way looking
26:38 that way
26:53 places like stepping back in time these
26:53 seats here there's also a scene here
26:55 when the brother and sister are kind of
26:57 arguing about Santa over here at Harmony
26:59 star comes walking out
27:01 of this angle you see this pillar right
27:04 here and those kind of double doors and
27:06 the windows and whatnot as shown here
27:10 still looks the same
27:12 my differences behind the pillar there's
27:13 like a little Garden area now that's
27:15 been bricked over
27:16 no plants there or foliage there anymore
27:19 just down here is the brick
27:23 and it isn't active Amtrak station
27:37 still have the Retro telephones
27:37 in here
27:40 oh over here is where
27:43 this is where the lug this is where she
27:44 ended up getting the ticket here
27:48 okay that's pretty neat and then there's
27:50 an angle of her looking from here so she
27:52 goes up gets the ticket and then she's
27:54 looking this direction right about like
27:58 that
27:59 as shown here
28:06 a little bit of damage there but this so
28:06 yeah this is where she was sitting the
28:09 rhythmic the roof is leaking in here
28:12 of course the classic scene I always
28:13 kind of think about is when she's really
28:15 having regrets and second thoughts about
28:18 you know what she is what she's been
28:20 doing
28:21 there's an angle here where the family
28:23 the brother and sister and Mom that
28:26 Harmony sitting there on the end
28:29 just like that and the benches the wood
28:31 benches and everything oh my gosh the
28:33 Christmas tree is still in the same
28:35 exact spot also
28:38 there's this here of her looking very
28:40 very sad but notice the Christmas tree
28:41 directly behind her
28:44 and modern day Christmas tree as well
28:48 do you notice the Christmas trees over
28:50 there too
28:57 this is another image I always think of
28:57 her sitting here she has the leg up and
29:00 she's like really regretting
29:02 she's really regretting her decision and
29:06 the kids right there yeah the family's
29:14 this is the same ticket booth over here
29:14 it's pretty dang cool to be in here
29:15 especially after seeing the movie so
29:17 many times the
29:19 in particular knowing the same knowing
29:22 that Harmony was there having a change
29:24 of thought
29:26 start to feel the Christmas joy and
29:28 realizing she making the wrong decision
29:30 revamping her her choices and then
29:34 going back and taking Santa Claus's bag
29:37 where it belongs
29:58 couple other things I'm noticing if you
30:00 watch the film there's a staircase out
30:02 here this was the entrance the entrance
30:04 doors had changed but as she turns this
30:07 way this is exactly the same kind of the
30:10 same marble counter
30:12 that is over there with the little
30:14 window next to it and current day they
30:17 do not even really use this window
30:18 anymore they use the other little side
30:21 window
30:22 Chase into it
30:24 yeah this is the counter here
30:37 filming locations love
30:58 the same door she would have walked out
30:58 of
31:05 where do you get off get that Santa sack
31:05 and why do you have
31:11 there's no such thing as Santa
31:12 turd that's just exactly the same it
31:14 does it's amazing
31:16 it's like stepping back in time this
31:18 place
31:22 well they're still there and everything
31:25 I'm not going to do the outro right here
31:26 yeah that's gonna do it for today
31:29 from Orlando Florida now there were a
31:31 couple key spots that we didn't go to no
31:34 we did not go we sound disappointed no
31:38 it's not it's not that it's they're like
31:40 two second spots right so MCO Orlando
31:43 International really looks nothing the
31:45 same the only spot is when he kind of
31:47 jumps up over the luggage the the taxi
31:50 you know it hits the ground in no time
31:53 that scene and I'm trying to think what
31:55 what other world Drive World drive on
31:57 the way to Epcot yep was the very
32:00 beginning of the movie but I think we
32:01 hit most of them oh yeah more or less we
32:03 hit most of them and ending here with
32:05 the the one that looks identical to how
32:08 it was back in the day it looks like
32:10 1926.
32:12 up on the side of there but we did it
32:14 we've been saying we want we've wanted
32:15 to do the earnest Saves Christmas spots
32:18 together
32:19 even though we've gone to the house
32:21 an exorbitant amount of times we've
32:24 finally gone to all the rest of them
32:25 make you check out world of Micah who
32:27 has covered at least
32:29 some of these spots on multiple
32:31 occasions yeah the house at least a half
32:34 a dozen times me half a dust
32:38 there's not a whole heck of a lot film
32:41 Touchstone was a very brief time
32:44 Hollywood East as they wanted to call it
32:46 didn't last very long There Was Daryl
32:48 Parenthood
32:50 Problem Child two child two Earnest am I
32:54 missing any
32:56 probably about it we don't have a lot of
32:58 filming locations here in town so we
33:00 have to milk them for all their work
33:03 but check out world of Micah he will
33:04 have this video as well big Earnest guy
33:06 big Jim Varney guy like I am part of the
33:09 many reasons we are friends so check out
33:11 his channel YouTube's own world of Micah
33:13 I'll see you in the next video the Vlog
33:16 is over
33:18 you know what I mean
33:20 I should also add
33:23 what there's still one spot that Micah
33:25 and I are in hopes of finding
33:28 and if we find that one day we'll do
33:30 another video there's one spot that's
33:32 the bucket list
33:34 the uh what do you what's the word the
33:36 ultimate spot the ultimate spot that no
33:39 one has ever found to be the martini
33:42 shot that's the final shot
33:47 it's like halfway it's like three
33:47 quarters to the movie but no one's ever
33:49 found it so if we ever find it
33:52 we'll do a full video on that and milk
33:55 this puppy for all its work
33:59 s
