0:03 Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here as
0:03 the recording of this Saturday, July
0:05 19th, 2025. I'm in my hotel room here at
0:08 the Disneyland Resort, but I'm going to
0:09 be heading out of Orange County up to LA
0:12 just a little north of there in
0:14 Hollywood and have a Hollywood day. A
0:17 lot on the agenda. Some friends of mine
0:19 are in town. They've rented a car.
0:21 They're picking me up. We're heading up
0:22 the five. See where the day leads. A lot
0:27 is going to happen today. Join me. It's
0:29 a busy one, shall you? From the room
0:32 window, kind of appears like it's a
0:34 little overcast today. That's pretty
0:36 nice. It might be a nonsny day. In fact,
0:40 right now down at the pool, the pool is
0:42 open down there, I don't see anybody on
0:43 the splash pad or in the pool at the
0:46 moment.
0:48 Yeah, give it up for some overcastness
0:51 here in SoCal. All right, got to get
0:53 going. Waiting here in the pickup area.
0:56 This is taking it to a whole other
0:57 level. Leaf blower out the side of a
1:01 Zambonesque
1:03 type of street cleaner right here at the
1:06 pickup area.
1:14 All right, I made the commute. First
1:14 stop up here in Hollywood at the Vista
1:16 Theater. Stopping off at Tarantino's own
1:20 Pam's Coffee. Greg's here. Hello. Ryan's
1:25 here. I'm going to give you guys the the
1:27 nickel tour today. The uh the very quick
1:30 >> I'm up for it. I'm excited.
1:32 >> Good. After four days in LA, I've got
1:33 about a nickel left. So, that'll work.
1:35 Well,
1:36 >> obviously Quinton years ago opened the
1:38 new Beverly Theater, which is on the
1:40 other side. Well, not the other side of
1:41 town, but it's a few miles from here.
1:44 And as I've heard the story, he ended up
1:46 the Vista was for sale, and he ended up
1:48 buying the Vista, which is next to Pam's
1:50 Coffee. and he ended up opening the the
1:53 Pam's coffee Pam Greer coffee shop next
1:56 to the Vista. And one thing I like
1:58 whenever I'm kind of in the area, I like
1:59 to pop in and grab a cup of jokes.
2:01 Quinton also loves coffee. There's that
2:04 there's that really great clip of him
2:08 with the at the Starbucks,
2:10 but he there's that there's that clip
2:12 where he's like, "What's going on here?
2:13 What's going on here?" So, I know he
2:15 likes his cup of Joe and he's walking
2:16 out with that piping hot caffy
2:19 caffeinated beverage kind of guy. So,
2:21 got a cup by Quinton Tarantino and we're
2:24 going to head over to Hollywood Forever
2:25 right now. Hollywood Forever some. Check
2:27 it out. They're playing one of Quinton's
2:29 movies right in here. There's also some
2:30 handprints
2:33 down below. You got John Landis
2:36 right down here. Spike Jones,
2:45 Sarah Jessica Parker, Martin Land.
2:45 Oh, even a Dabney Coin right here. Toby
2:48 Hooper. Look at this classic Toby
2:50 Hooper, Texas Chainsaw. William Frequin
2:53 Frequin the Exorcist. Having trouble
2:56 saying his last name. Princess Bry. That
2:59 must be Yeah.
3:01 Dread Pirate Roberts there. As you wish.
3:04 We just had a really cool 5minute
3:06 experience with Jack Black who was in
3:09 Pam's coffee.
3:11 Very nice guy. We didn't want to disturb
3:12 him too much, but we ended up getting
3:14 some photos. In fact, he took my phone
3:16 and goes, "I'm taking over."
3:18 >> Yeah. Jack Black grabbed my phone and uh
3:21 took a photo with myself
3:24 and the three of us there. We all got we
3:26 got we got selfies with with Jack.
3:28 >> He was He was really nice.
3:30 >> We had a Ronnie James Dio moment. I'm
3:31 very uh happy.
3:32 >> He uh I told him I like Tenacious D. We
3:35 told him he liked the Ronnie James Dio.
3:37 He gave us a little chicken jockey.
3:40 >> Mentioned the chicken jockey. So that
3:41 was cool. I'll I'll show you the photo
3:43 on my phone. But yeah, you brought up
3:45 the pitball that he the first gig
3:47 >> first gig that he ever
3:48 >> the pitball commercial when he was very
3:50 young.
3:50 >> You go play pitfall right now.
3:52 >> Yeah, there you go. Who knew we were
3:54 going to pop into Tarantino's coffee
3:56 shop that Jack would just be in there
3:57 having a nice cup of Joe and
4:00 >> I am happy to say he was drinking a
4:01 piping hot caffeinated beverage. He's
4:03 not a cold brew guy.
4:04 >> No.
4:05 >> And really close just a half a block
4:08 away.
4:09 >> Very very famous. Very very
4:12 >> You've heard of this place?
4:14 figure you're a tiki guy.
4:16 >> Tiki J always told me this place is kind
4:18 of legendary in LA. TikT.
4:20 >> I was putting together a list of things
4:21 that I wanted to do at some point. It
4:23 was on here and I scratched it off cuz I
4:25 thought there's no chance again it'll be
4:27 closed by the
4:28 >> There it is.
4:28 >> But at least I got to get a snapshot of
4:31 it. Right.
4:32 >> Have a little gift in the flower shop at
4:34 Hollywood Forever. Over at Hollywood
4:35 Forever now. They have hats, they have
4:38 t-shirts,
4:39 and they have guide maps. I've been here
4:41 a bunch of times, but I'm going to get
4:43 myself a little guide map souvenir. I
4:45 appreciate it.
5:29 really hard to believe the Chris Cornell
5:29 pass
5:50 Helena Hutchkins is here.
5:50 Very tragic.
6:02 Just over at the Vista Theater,
6:02 which was obviously used in True
6:04 Romance, Tarantino movie, but Tarantino
6:06 wrote it, but did not direct that film.
6:08 True Romance, in fact, was directed by
6:11 this gentleman, also known probably most
6:14 famously for Top Gun, Tony Scott.
6:26 I always heard that Toto, this is just a
6:26 little little uh memorial statue
6:30 to Toto. I think he was elsewhere and I
6:33 think a freeway or thorough affair
6:35 covered it up. So now they place a
6:37 little little sculpture of Toto there
6:40 from Wizard of Oz.
6:42 Oh, here we go. Right here.
6:45 We give you this new home 53 years later
6:47 as there's no place like home. RIP, dear
6:50 friend.
6:59 One of the greatest entertainers in the
6:59 world has ever known. Hollywood will
7:01 always be his home. The one and only
7:02 Mickey Rooney.
7:05 And I did not realize that next to
7:08 Mickey
7:09 is an h.
7:19 >> I know Greg will know this one being a
7:19 Star Trek guy. Granted, it's the JJ JJ A
7:23 from Star Trek, right?
7:24 >> Right. It's um
7:26 >> Anton Yelchin.
7:27 >> Yeah. Did he play Czechov?
7:29 >> He played Czechov in the two uh new Star
7:31 Trek movies. They also honored him in
7:34 the uh Picard season 3 because um at the
7:38 beginning of at the beginning of the
7:40 last episode
7:42 um Walter Kaning was playing a character
7:46 named Anton Czechov, the great grandson
7:49 of the original series Czechov. So they
7:52 they kind of paid homage
7:53 >> to Anton in that in that season series.
7:56 Yeah.
7:58 He also died very very tragically and
8:02 way too young.
8:08 And this is right behind Paramount
8:08 Studios. Paramount Studios is on the
8:10 same property. Paramount Studios is the
8:13 only studio anywhere in Hollywood or LA
8:16 that has a view of the Hollywood sign
8:19 which is right there. All the other ones
8:21 have an obscured view. This one can be
8:23 seen from this property as well. Now, I
8:26 don't know the name of the movie. You
8:27 were saying he was in Terminator
8:28 Salvation also as Ree.
8:30 >> There's another film and I can't rec I'm
8:34 drawing a blank on what it was, but he
8:35 filmed a scene from that movie where him
8:38 and I believe his date were in this
8:40 cemetery in this general area.
8:43 >> Wow.
8:43 >> And now this is where it is laid to
8:45 rest.
8:47 >> Don't quote me on that, but I'm pretty
8:49 sure that's that's true.
9:22 Glad to see so many people have showed
9:22 up and put stuff on Paul's Paul Ruben's
9:26 pee-wee his headstone. This is Bert.
9:59 Cecil B.
10:00 I'm ready for my closeup. Mr. Deill.
10:03 Sunset Boulevard. Classic
10:06 Paramount film. Classic Hollywood.
10:18 So Dee's here,
10:18 >> but then Johnny has a sculpture over
10:20 there, but he's actually not laid to
10:22 rest here.
10:22 >> That was a senate. His wife actually
10:24 still has his ashes. But this one
10:27 actually really is
10:28 >> DD Raone.
10:29 >> And actually in the background over
10:30 there is the buckle.
10:33 >> Oh, over there.
10:36 >> Lot of
10:38 rock history in a very small area here.
10:42 He was DD was one of my influences. How
10:44 about you?
10:44 >> Really? I saw the Ramones. I
10:46 >> did too.
10:47 >> Where did you see them at?
10:48 >> I saw them in Cleveland on their last
10:50 tour. The Adios Amigos tour.
10:54 >> I saw them in 94 at the edge in Orlando.
10:57 >> Probably the same tour by that edge. How
10:59 about a year?
11:01 >> Different place.
11:08 >> This is something I never realized
11:08 before. As I was walking by here, I saw
11:11 Griffith. And I'm like, I I bet that's
11:13 probably the guy that Griffith Park was
11:14 named after. And in fact, it is. And the
11:16 only reason I realized that is because
11:19 he had an unusual first and last name
11:21 that were both Griffith.
11:24 Cuz I've learned about the history of
11:25 Griffith Park. Griffith J. Griffith
11:30 is right here.
11:33 The namesake for Griffith Park.
11:58 This says sees, not Patrick.
11:58 Also, years and years and years ago, I
12:01 came out here, 2012, I believe it was.
12:04 And when I first saw this pyramid, I was
12:06 thinking that that was the Nicholas Cage
12:08 pyramid, but
12:09 >> his pyramid is in New Orleans that he's
12:11 going to be laid to rest in. I believe
12:12 >> Mary Le.
12:15 >> Oh, really?
12:15 >> Yeah.
12:18 Also back in that year, 2012,
12:21 I think it was the first time I came to
12:23 SoCal, I was out here with Justin Scard
12:26 and then eventually my roommate Tyler
12:28 Evans, rock journalist, we came out here
12:30 and they wouldn't let you film in the
12:32 cemetery then. Things have changed since
12:33 then. Things have drastically changed
12:36 now. They they embrace it. All right, a
12:38 little way from the section we were just
12:39 at,
12:42 it's the man of a thousand voices, Mel
12:44 Blanc.
12:53 >> I would say probably the greatest voice
12:53 actor that ever lived.
12:54 >> Absolutely.
12:55 >> Yeah, definitely.
12:57 He was the voice of the Looney Tunes
12:59 among bunch of He was Barney Rubble,
13:01 too. I didn't realize that at the time,
13:02 but
13:04 >> there's one section
13:06 of Carousel of Progress that he does the
13:08 voice of the parrot.
13:10 >> That's a tall around here. Yeah.
13:12 >> Which sounds like um Yose Sand a little
13:14 bit does.
13:23 >> It's very surreal
13:23 to see.
14:07 Mini March.
14:07 That's a Jimmy 4. But do they have a
14:08 Jimmy, too?
14:13 They're taking over. The mini marges are
14:13 taking over. Have made the commute now
14:16 over to the parking structure here at
14:18 the WB Warner Brothers. We're going to
14:20 be doing the Warner Brothers tour.
14:23 Sometimes they will let you film. Other
14:25 times they are very, very strict. It all
14:26 depends on the guide. I would say one
14:28 out of four times I show up to the tour
14:31 that the guide will be okay with
14:32 filming. But more times than not, that's
14:34 not the case because you never know what
14:36 kind of secret productions are going on
14:38 or maybe the guide doesn't want to be on
14:40 camera, etc. It's all up to the guide's
14:43 discretion. So, can't guarantee I'm
14:45 going to be seeing much in there.
14:46 However, from the parking structure,
14:48 could see a few things. Now, in the gift
14:51 shop and the entrance area where the
14:53 Starbucks is and all that, I've heard
14:54 that they have a Superman,
14:58 which is on the water tower there. You
14:59 can barely see it. The S up there on the
15:01 water tower. They have a display for the
15:03 new Superman film which I just saw. So
15:05 that's kind of fresh in my head.
15:12 So Greg, this alley right here, I'll
15:12 give you a little brief tour from up
15:13 here.
15:14 >> Okay.
15:14 >> This alley right here was used in
15:16 Gremlins at the intro of Gremlins.
15:17 >> I'm feeling it.
15:18 >> This also was the staircase from Annie.
15:22 >> Back tucked away in there. The
15:23 Spider-Man upside down kiss was right
15:25 over in there in that little alley right
15:27 there.
15:28 >> Oh wow. Also in Peewee's Big Adventure
15:30 when Tim Burton comes out and goes, "We
15:31 don't take Kylie to strangers come
15:33 around here." That was in that alley.
15:35 >> Isn't this where the um they did the the
15:39 PeeWee's Big Adventure? The the what's
15:41 her name?
15:42 >> Large. Oh, the uh Madam Ruby.
15:44 >> Madam Ruby. Yeah. So, if we were up on
15:46 the roof, which right now they have
15:47 blocked off so that we can only go up to
15:48 this fourth level here, but if we could
15:50 go to the roof like I usually will do,
15:52 around that corner is Madame Ruby's
15:55 window where she tells them it's in the
15:57 basement of the Alamo. And then right
15:58 next to it, so just over this right here
16:01 in this little tucked away area was in
16:03 Gremlins where he goes to get to get the
16:05 model
16:06 >> down into the basement there. Yeah. And
16:07 they probably will drive us through
16:09 there. But
16:15 and then Universal's right over there.
16:15 Oh, yeah. You can see Hogwarts.
16:25 All right. Arrived. Seeing the Superman
16:25 stuff.
16:30 Superman's been out, I think, like eight
16:30 days already.
16:33 The whole front area next to the gift
16:35 shop has all the merchandise, sets,
16:38 photo ops, etc. And making our way onto
16:41 the tour.
16:52 We're going to just navigate
16:52 >> back
17:03 ended up getting our guide Gary. He's a
17:03 really great guy to get in the photo
17:05 with us over at the Friends Fountain.
17:08 We're like, "Hey, Gary, you've been uh
17:10 getting our photo with us for posterity
17:12 then." So, there we go. Last place we
17:14 got coffee at, we met Jack Black. Maybe
17:16 Harrison Ford to walk through here. Now
17:17 that we got the second coffee shop,
17:19 Central Perk over here. It's my second
17:21 coffee of the day. You never know what's
17:22 going to happen when you drink a piping
17:23 hot caffeinated beverage.
17:24 >> Second vlog.
17:25 >> Even though uh even though you got a
17:27 Coca-Cola, you got a you got a cold
17:28 caffeinated beverage right there.
17:30 >> Yes. I couldn't resist. I saw a bottle
17:33 of Coke and I had to go for it.
17:34 >> There are no food or drinks allowed
17:36 outside unless bottled water. Everything
17:38 else be asked to be tossed out or safely
17:40 put away without a spilling. Um we If
17:43 you have anything with you, you're just
17:44 going to have to finish it outside
17:45 before just entering the actual exhibit
17:47 itself. Everybody has to go through the
17:49 exhibit before exiting because that's
17:50 where the exit is connected to. Um
17:52 there's no need to take another tram.
17:54 Everything's connected to that very
17:55 final building over there, including the
17:57 gift shop as well where you guys are
17:59 entering for today. Um besides that,
18:02 second rule is going to be for action
18:03 magic, which is please not touch any
18:04 proper costume. We have on display all
18:06 the things you're about to see. They're
18:07 all the originals from the making of the
18:09 movie. So we want to preserve them for
18:10 as long as possible. We have all the
18:12 Batmobiles there. There's a pretty good
18:13 photo opportunity with the Wonder Woman
18:15 lasso. Um, it has the it has her wings
18:18 right behind her, too. And the whole
18:19 entire lasso does light up. It goes from
18:21 the very bottom of the floor all the way
18:23 to the tippy top of the ceiling. Um,
18:25 there's going to be a glowing part of
18:26 the actual lasso. Just press the back
18:28 part of it and the whole thing lights
18:29 up.
18:30 >> Um,
18:32 >> and yeah, so some people tend to get
18:33 lost in action of magic. My uh I guess
18:37 my tip to them if they do get lost if
18:40 you're trying to find the exit, you're
18:42 going to follow all the costumes on the
18:43 left hand side, which should be all of
18:44 our Superman costumes currently. Um and
18:47 then but as you're going to see like
18:49 almost like a little curtain, take that
18:50 curtain all the way through and lead you
18:53 straight through our celebration room to
18:55 our gift shop from a gift shop to the
18:56 lobby. Um, also if you need any help or
19:00 you have any concerns about anything at
19:02 all, uh, feel free to just find somebody
19:03 that looks like me or dressed like me.
19:05 We're more than happy to help you guys
19:06 out.
19:08 And there's going to be somebody
19:09 stationed right.
19:10 >> Kind of figured when we started off over
19:11 here that we were not going to go to a
19:13 few areas. We didn't go to a few key
19:15 points just because it was blocked off
19:17 for probably some filming stuff during
19:19 the week. Even though there was no
19:20 filming going on today, there were areas
19:23 blocked off. Started up here. Also
19:26 didn't go to the little the little town
19:28 square circle area where Dukes a Hazard
19:30 and all that was filmed.
19:32 But really good really good tour. The
19:35 tour guide we have was great. He was
19:37 very informative.
19:40 Always recommend the Warner Brother.
19:42 Every time I've done it, I've learned
19:43 something new. Every time. A lot of
19:45 things I already know because I've done
19:46 it so many times, but I always every
19:48 time I get a different guide, pick their
19:52 brain a little bit, learn something new,
19:54 and I bought some merchandise. I'll give
19:56 you a little haul here momentarily. And
19:58 we're going to head over to Bob's. When
20:00 in Burbank, you must do Bob's. Bob's Big
20:03 Boy. How many times have I eaten here?
20:06 Got to be close to 100. I rarely will
20:10 visit on any trip to Burbank and not eat
20:13 a Bobs. Oh yeah, I am excited. All
20:16 right, we're tucked away over here in
20:17 the back corner. I think I've eaten here
20:18 so many times I've probably been in
20:20 every single booth that there is, but I
20:23 have not been in this particular one.
20:24 They got a lot of this artwork on the
20:26 wall back over here. Yeah, I like this
20:29 little uh tucked away area back over in
20:32 the in the back section. Got little
20:35 artwork on the wall there. There's a big
20:38 boy himself. The creature of habit when
20:40 it comes to Bobs. I know a lot of people
20:41 will get the burger, but I never get the
20:44 burger. I every time we'll get Bob's
20:46 famous chili spaghetti. All right, my
20:49 go-to. This is what dealing with. It is
20:53 spaghetti.
20:56 Chili, onions, kind of a Texas toast.
21:00 Wouldn't call it Texas toast, but it's a
21:01 little thicker than regular toast.
21:04 Still got a lot of onion rings left.
21:07 >> Greg got the same thing.
21:08 >> Is that just melted cheese on top of
21:10 that?
21:10 >> That's just melted cheese. Yes.
21:12 >> Yeah. Yeah. And then what did you get,
21:14 Ryan?
21:15 >> Uh, I got chicken tenders here. And I've
21:17 got the uh this thing right here.
21:19 >> Here we go. Can I get anybody anything
21:21 else?
21:21 >> I get another fork.
21:22 >> Oh, yeah. Of course.
21:24 >> Threw mine across the room.
21:24 >> Look at this thing.
21:26 >> Yeah. So, I haven't had this for about
21:27 20 years, but it was really, really
21:29 good. I'll probably get a couple of
21:31 bites off of it, but
21:32 >> Oh, yeah. That looks to try it. It's
21:36 >> I'm going to try some of this Big Boy
21:37 seasoning sauce on there. Salt.
21:40 Pretty good. I tried some on one of the
21:42 onion rings. It was tasty. So, I'll add
21:44 it under my favorite dish here. All
21:45 right, now over to Hollywood. Just
21:47 parked at the Hollywood and Highland
21:49 Center directly underneath the Chinese
21:52 Theater. Coming up the escalator. Made
21:54 it up ground level now.
21:58 Saturday night on Hollywood Boulevard.
22:01 Should be interesting. All right.
22:03 Chinese Theater. Nope. This is not
22:05 Hollywood Studios. This is the real
22:07 deal. Even though the one in Orlando is
22:11 an accurate reproduction, I got to say,
22:13 got my third coffee of the day.
22:16 >> Jeff's also arrived down here.
22:19 >> These guys are annoying the crap out of
22:20 me. Not Greg so much, but this other guy
22:23 >> I said that.
22:24 >> Yeah, you said I was like, "All right,
22:25 I'm on my way. I'll put myself on that
22:27 ground." I'm kidding.
22:28 >> I can't see this guy on the freeway,
22:30 though. I was like, "Oh, that's weird."
22:32 You know, and then I I parked. I parked.
22:35 There's John Ritter right there on the
22:36 side of the high school he went to.
22:38 >> No, that's a mural. That's a painting.
22:39 >> Well, it's a mural.
22:40 >> That's not him.
22:41 >> He's pulling back the curtain. So, I had
22:42 heard that
22:44 >> this little art flick from way back.
22:46 >> Sorry, Adam.
22:48 >> So, I had heard.
22:49 >> It's not just me.
22:50 >> I had heard that this was being torn
22:51 down, the Hollywood Center Motel, used
22:53 in countless movies that I can't think
22:56 of. But evidently, that rumor is untrue
22:58 because it's still sitting here. This uh
23:00 this abandoned motel.
23:01 >> Stop that driver quick. Stop. There's
23:04 three of them.
23:05 >> Oh my gosh.
23:07 >> There's three cars that do not have
23:10 drivers.
23:10 >> Oh no.
23:11 >> Oh no. Robots.
23:12 >> He's going to do it.
23:15 >> I'm walking here. I'm walking. Jesus.
23:20 >> Incoming.
23:21 >> R2.
23:22 >> It stopped right there.
23:24 >> You think he's got the Death Star plans?
23:26 >> I don't know.
23:27 >> This isn't R2. This is Zeke.
23:28 >> Why did it stop?
23:30 >> Zeke. Holly was being run by robots and
23:34 like like
23:40 >> this is my first sidewalk robot.
23:40 >> Yeah. I mean we have weird things on
23:42 sidewalks in Florida.
23:44 >> I actually went to high school with this
23:45 guy. Zeke.
23:56 >> Evidently this has been sold. Originally
23:56 it was Chaplain Studios. Then it was
23:57 used by Jim Henson Productions.
24:01 The rumor is that it's been sold to
24:04 someone else.
24:06 >> Chap.
24:08 >> You think that's really his signature?
24:10 >> Dude, I have always wondered that. And
24:12 when I did my tour of the studio, they
24:15 were like, "We think it is." And I don't
24:17 think so, man.
24:18 >> The mouth on it.
24:20 >> Just like me.
24:20 >> Oh, that one's cool. Look at that.
24:22 >> Oh, he's toothless.
24:23 >> Why isn't it move? Oh, it is. Okay. It's
24:25 How to Train Your Dragon.
24:26 >> Okay. Yeah, it is.
24:27 >> Come on.
24:29 Come on, Ella. Come on.
24:32 >> She's with us.
24:33 >> Oh, she's with you.
24:34 >> We were wondering why it stopped. Is it
24:36 delivering food or
24:37 >> Yeah, we have to understand how to train
24:40 your robot.
24:42 >> Ella's backing up.
24:44 >> How does she know how to follow that?
24:47 >> I think they have a remote. They have a
24:49 They have it hooked up to their phone.
24:52 >> I want one.
24:53 >> How to train your robot. Probably should
24:55 show the Kermit there cuz you never know
24:56 if that'll remain. I hope they leave I
24:59 hope they leave Kermy up there. This is
25:00 so weird that this used to be Amoeba.
25:02 Amoeba's moved over onto Hollywood now.
25:04 But on Sunset many times I walked
25:05 through these doors. I think the first
25:07 time I ever came to Amoeba you brought
25:08 me here, Justin.
25:08 >> Yeah, it was me. And look at that. Even
25:10 the Jack in the Box is gone.
25:11 >> I know.
25:12 >> So, what in the world is going on here?
25:14 >> That was the sketchiest Jack in the Box
25:15 I'd ever been in in my life.
25:17 >> Yeah. Oh, yeah. But hey, it had a
25:19 bathroom.
25:19 >> It had a bathroom. I was going to say
25:20 the same thing. They would let you use
25:22 the bathroom. That's what counts. All
25:23 right, let's see. Yep. Still still
25:24 boarded up over here. Wow.
25:28 It's a great theater, too.
25:30 >> It's so weird. It hasn't reopened.
25:34 >> You need quit Tarantino to buy this
25:35 place, too.
25:36 >> Soon Tarantino is going to kind of own
25:38 every theater in town.
25:41 >> Just over by Paramount at Hollywood
25:43 Forever. This is where Paramount
25:45 Pictures used to be. The barn that Cecil
25:47 Deill made the Man, which is over
25:50 now by the Hollywood Bowl, used to be
25:52 here on the corner of Selman Avenue and
25:55 Vine Street. right here on this ve very
25:57 corner across from Trader Joe's. And
26:00 also on the corner right over there was
26:01 the original where Paramount originally
26:03 started. On the corner of Argyle and
26:06 Selma, this is where Argyle the pig used
26:09 to reside. You know how many times I
26:10 showed the Argyle the pig, the topiary
26:13 pig,
26:14 >> which is basically just a metal pig
26:16 surrounded by like go mini golf turf
26:19 >> on top of it.
26:20 >> How many times I showed that?
26:22 >> Funed with what is it? Foliage.
26:26 with foliage
26:26 >> to throw it back old.
26:28 >> And out of all the places in Hollywood
26:29 that Ryan wanted to see, what did you
26:31 what did you say where you wanted to go?
26:33 >> Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
26:34 >> That's true. But this second second
26:35 place
26:37 >> Argyle the pig right here. There it is.
26:39 >> That's all that's left of him. There's
26:41 his vines.
26:42 >> You're going to change the name of your
26:44 topiary pig to Scar.
26:45 >> Scar.
26:47 >> Now my my name is Campbell and there is
26:50 a Campbell clan of Argyle. So Campbell
26:53 of Scargle. Goldman. I don't know what
26:55 I'm talking about.
26:56 >> Look at this. We got all the cars out
26:57 here cruising on a Saturday night.
27:07 That's the Magic Castle.
27:07 All right, back over at my hotel.
27:12 All right, here's my merchandise haul
27:14 that I got at Warner and other places
27:16 and Hollywood Forever. I picked up this,
27:19 which is really neat. It's the Warner
27:21 Brothers water tower. Now, in order to
27:23 get it home, I'm going to have to take
27:24 it out. It's only about probably a third
27:26 of the size of what the box most of the
27:28 box is like packaging around it. But I
27:32 really like this. I picked that up. Also
27:34 got this crew hat right here that has
27:37 Warner Brothers Studios on the back.
27:40 Explore and Ryan got me this, his little
27:42 souvenir, the new Superman logo there.
27:45 And I got the official walking guide,
27:47 the map. Also picked up this. I've never
27:50 seen this. They said they just released
27:51 this Ravenclaw shirt. So, at the Harry
27:54 Potter house, Ravenclaw, I really like
27:56 this. So, I grabbed that. And then they
27:59 also had this, which is neat. It's a
28:00 little bag with all the stuff from the
28:03 WB. Pretty cool. And that's going to do
28:06 it for today. Thanks for watching. And
28:09 take a look at this one window. I showed
28:11 this the other day. It's like a vortex
28:12 of sorts. When you look out there, you
28:15 kind of see how the stained little
28:16 slightly stained hued glass or whatever
28:20 you want to call that that makes a
28:22 little light burst go into kind of like
28:25 a a little circular pattern there. Kind
28:27 of neat looking out the window here at
28:30 the Disneyland Hotel.
28:32 Made it back to Orange County. Thanks
28:34 for watching. I'll see you in the next
28:35 video. The vlog is over.
