0:41 just appeared up near Disney west of

0:44 Walt Disney World crushed and and

0:48 galloped up swallowed up a resort so

0:59 dad dad and I were talking about the

1:01 sinkhole and how exciting it was going

1:02 to be I missed my exit so now we're

1:04 backtracking a little bit sink holes

1:06 happen pretty often in Florida but I

1:09 have never seen a sinkhole up close and

1:12 personal this fresh fresh news story if

1:15 you ever seen a sinkhole up close and

1:16 personal d uh nothing but that little

1:19 bitty hole that the water made in our

1:21 backyard once Disney World's back that

1:23 way we're heading westbound on 192 you

1:26 can see out the back of my van the cars

1:28 behind me almost to the same call Dad's

1:30 getting excited he's got his camera

5:05 sink sinkhole is uh I know it's about 50

5:08 ft in diameter uh but it's it's growing

5:11 definitely what causes a sink that's a

5:14 good question that I can ask the

5:15 sinkhole is caused because there's the

5:18 Limestone geology that's under this

5:21 ground right it's it's cracking and when

5:24 water falls on it water is typically

5:27 acidic and so it starts to erode the

5:30 Limestone and when it erodes the

5:32 Limestone it creates a cavity under us

5:35 now there's two types of sinkles one

5:37 you'll start to see the depression right

5:38 away because the sand is migrating

5:41 through that crack okay but the other

5:43 one the one that's more dangerous like

5:45 the one here is the one where the cavity

5:49 underground is not visible from the

5:51 surface at all the surface remains

5:52 exactly the same but the the cavity

5:55 continues to grow and as it grows um it

5:59 gets bigger and bigger until the the

6:01 roof of the cavity essentially we cannot

6:03 sustain it there's a structure there or

6:05 there's people there but that cavity

6:07 just simply

10:35 go the expert did say that the sinkhole

10:38 was getting

10:39 bigger how many of the buildings did

10:41 they evacuate this was the first one um

10:55 building get swallowed up by a massive

10:58 hole that was wasn't there 24 hours
