1:17 coffee one of my favorite spots when I

1:19 come in the park just a little spoiler

1:21 alert for you guys or not really a

1:23 spoiler but a tip for you when I enter

1:26 the park here at Disneyland I actually

1:29 always walk down Main Street and I

1:31 always go right over there to that

1:33 little coffee stand you see those two or

1:36 three people there's a couple and

1:38 another guy going up to the cast member

1:41 and ordering either a coffee or an apple

1:44 or a apple juice a beverage or maybe a

1:48 cookie right there with the H drawn

1:51 carriage the awesome theming here at

1:55 Disneyland that's one thing that

1:57 separates Disneyland from a lot of other

1:59 theme parks that puts them on a pedestal

2:01 and makes them one of my favorite theme

2:03 parks and favorite places to be anywhere

2:06 in the United States of America if not

2:09 the world is the theming and the fact

2:11 that they actually have H drawn

2:13 carriages that run all day long except

2:16 of course when the fireworks or the

2:19 parades are actually happening but all

2:22 day long the main street vehicles caring

2:25 around Main Street look at

2:28 this look at this twostory Disneyland

2:32 Transportation Corporation or company

2:35 transport taking tourists waving at

2:38 their family and friends all around all

2:41 the different lands of Disneyland I've

2:44 done walkthroughs of Disneyland I've

2:45 done rideth throughs of Disneyland I've

2:46 done hangout sessions with other people

2:48 at Disneyland but I thought today we

2:50 would sit here in front of the castle

2:51 and I would give you a little info on my

2:54 favorite coffee shop which is where I

2:55 got this coffee straight ahead right

2:58 over there

3:01 that little coffee shop vestibule now

3:05 the purpose of this Vlog not only is it

3:07 Friday the 13th and I'm a huge horror

3:09 fan I have two great interests when it

3:11 comes to pop culture horror 1980s horror

3:16 film goodness I love that aspect of

3:21 the80s and I also love Disney and Disney

3:25 history and Disneyland Disneyland opened

3:28 in 1955 that would make 2015 the year we

3:31 are in not only Back to the Future year

3:33 but also the 60th anniversary of this

3:37 fantastic theme

3:39 par and they are actually doing a lot of

3:41 renovating a lot of the attractions a

3:42 lot of the rides are actually closed

3:44 down however that is not a bad thing

3:47 because the reason they are closed down

3:48 is because they are going to be

3:49 reopening them very soon later in the

3:51 year in this entire theme park is going

3:54 to be magically transformed into the

3:56 60th anniversary edition of Disneyland

3:59 and the castle Sleeping Beauty's castle

4:02 which is right there I'm going to show

4:03 you momentarily is no exception to that

4:06 rule so I want to actually show you an

4:08 up close personal View at the

4:10 restoration the

4:12 recreating and the reimagining if you

4:15 will of Sleeping Beauty's castle which

4:18 is right over here

4:27 sh look at this it actually kind of

4:30 blows your mind at first when you walk

4:32 in through the front Gates past the

4:36 train station and you actually walk down

4:38 Main Street it kind of takes your breath

4:39 away for a second when you are used to

4:41 seeing the actual castle but now it is

4:43 behind this facade a very fantastic

4:47 facade which actually has a history of

4:49 its own it's an old Disneyland sketch

4:52 painting I cannot remember the artist

4:53 maybe you can guys you Disney

4:55 self-proclaimed offici andado historians

4:58 can actually tell me the name of the

5:00 artist that actually created this years

5:02 and years and decades and decades ago

5:05 they have actually festooned the front

5:07 of the castle with this I guess it's

5:10 some sort of a barricade or a tarp a

5:14 beautifully done

5:16 tarp and to some people this would be a

5:19 negative thing but not to me because I

5:20 am looking forward to the future I

5:23 always whenever I worked retail andever

5:26 I would clean up the backro or clean up

5:27 the store room and I would say leave me

5:30 alone for an hour or two and then people

5:32 would come back in before the cleanup

5:34 duty of my job was done the entire back

5:37 room would be a complete wreck because

5:38 you have to almost make a mess and you

5:40 actually have to cycle some things

5:43 around before you can actually unveil

5:46 unveil not ve not the food ve but unveil

5:50 your creation so that's actually what

5:51 they're doing there is no way they would

5:53 actually be able to

5:55 reformat the castle in the way they

5:57 wanted to without giving away Secret

6:00 without covering the castle up and I

6:02 think they've actually done a pretty

6:03 good job like I said about a week or two

6:05 ago when I first came in and I saw this

6:08 it kind of took my breath away I really

6:09 didn't know what to think about it but

6:11 now that I've actually let it soak in

6:13 and sink in I think this is actually

6:15 really cool they're actually doing

6:16 something to the water they had the

6:18 water drained now the water is back so

6:21 I'm guessing they had some sort of

6:22 cruise in there working on the castle

6:25 itself and for a while over here

6:28 remember on New Year's Day I actually

6:29 did a vlog where we shared a wish

6:31 together over at the wishing well the

6:33 wishing well area actually was closed

6:35 for a little while but that is now

6:37 reopen but as you can see a lot of

6:39 people are not getting their photo in

6:41 front of the castle which obviously is a

6:43 good reason because it definitely does

6:45 not have the normaly of what we're used

6:47 to looking here at Disneyland normally

6:50 there is a plethora of people taking

6:52 their pictures right in front of the

6:55 castle so if you want a picture of this

6:58 take this into consider consideration

7:00 just think about it this will not be

7:02 here very long because later in the year

7:04 within a few months a few short months

7:07 if not a couple months the castle and

7:09 the rest of the park will be exuberating

7:12 the 60th anniversary of Disneyland so

7:15 take a good look at this and don't

7:17 forget if you are at the park and you

7:19 see this make sure you get a picture in

7:22 front of it because this is Disney

7:24 history right here folks how often do

7:27 you see a wooden

7:30 set of gates in front of the castle not

7:33 very often will you see

7:36 this normally you can walk through the

7:38 castle and ride into fantasy land but

7:40 not today not today all we have now to

7:44 look at is

7:46 this so I want you guys to take a good

7:48 look soak it in try not to be negative

7:51 about anything try to be positive try to

7:54 stay positive when you are positive

7:56 everyone else around you has a inch of

8:00 positivity in their life as well which

8:03 is kind of what Walt Disney is doing

8:05 still to this day even though Walt

8:07 Disney has passed on his Legend and his

8:12 iconic positivity if you will lives on

8:16 right here at Disneyland one of my

8:17 favorite places on Earth and I love this

8:19 coffee they actually put a Starbucks in

8:21 on Main Street I am not a fan of

8:23 Starbucks coffee I like the legit toned

8:27 down Disney coffee which they get right

8:30 over there so my little secret to you is

8:34 that coffee spot so if you're ever in

8:36 the park early in the morning I love

8:37 Disneyland in the morning also I love

8:39 Disneyland at night but I actually love

8:41 it at rope drop which is the opening

8:43 every morning because the streets are

8:45 clean the everyone is in a great mood

8:48 the cast members are all happy and

8:49 excited there's love and joy and

8:52 positivity in the air today is no
