0:58 and Huell Howser called the Hugh lagoons

1:28 something else before the movie then the

1:30 movie got a little bit of popularity

1:34 popular and then they changed the name

1:36 of this to the Bagdad cafe and there are

1:39 some screenshots from the film and the

1:42 movie poster so we're just gonna walk

3:26 directions no one coming through and

3:29 this is the bag Dada cafe I really

4:53 history of things and I love route 66

5:01 originally built in the 1950s this

5:04 world-famous restaurant was located was

5:06 the location of a 1988 film Bagdad cafe

5:09 which became the new name of the

5:11 restaurant in 1995 and the interesting

5:15 thing about the movie is there was

5:16 actually a hotel in the movie which was

5:19 actually located right over there

5:20 they've actually torn part of the hotel

5:23 down walk over there and show you guys

5:24 that before we end this vlog but take

5:28 one last look here at the Baghdad cafe

5:32 Bagdad cafe and in the movie Bagdad cafe

5:36 the hotel was actually right over there

5:39 so let's walk over there and take a look

5:40 at that and you can see oh yeah check

5:43 out this dog there's a dog here resting

5:47 and sleeping hopefully he's still alive

5:58 resting right there in the shade it's

6:07 probably not a lot for a dog to do

6:09 around here now the employees inside the

6:12 people that own the place or the worker

6:14 said that this was the second most

6:16 popular cafe in the world now I do not

6:19 know if that is factual but that is what

6:21 he told me he said that this was the

6:23 second the guy inside said this was the

6:25 second most popular cafe in the world

6:29 and I said well it probably is second to

6:34 the Hard Rock Cafe the chained Hard Rock

6:37 Cafe but according to the employee

6:39 inside there this is the second most

6:43 popular cafe in the world in action as

6:44 you can see it's very thriving today

6:47 very thriving a lot of people stopping

6:50 by he was he was saying they normally

6:52 get about 500 people a day they probably

6:54 do get a few because there are a lot of

6:56 people who do travel route 66 so I

6:58 believe they probably do get a lot of

7:00 people inside there but I don't know 500

7:02 would be a loss speaking of route 66

7:04 there's some graffiti on the side of the

7:06 saying ex6 6 which I don't know if that

7:10 has anything to do with route 66 or nah

7:14 but look at this old camper

7:24 gonna walk over there you wouldn't mind

7:38 there's a lot of stuff that happens

7:40 inside the Baghdad cafe there's also a

7:42 lot of stuff that happens all right in

8:40 everyone is into the Baghdad cafe like

8:52 over here was where a lot of the movie

9:11 filmed the interiors and exteriors of
