0:02 Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here. As
0:02 the recording of this Tuesday, June the
0:05 3rd, 2025, I'm about to leave town, head
0:08 to Orlando International Airport, MCO,
0:11 and we'll have a direct flight, no
0:13 connections, no layovers, and we'll be
0:15 arriving later this evening. Well, late
0:18 tonight in Seattle,
0:21 Washington. I'm inviting you, yes you,
0:24 to join me. Good to have you here. Shall
0:27 you? Got my bags all packed up. Just
0:29 ordered an Uber. Getting ready to head
0:31 over to
0:38 MCO. I travel very light. I mean,
0:39 obviously always carry on if possible.
0:42 All right, arrived. Got dropped off
0:45 here. Got a guest with me for the next
0:47 series of days. Robbie Retro in the
0:51 house. Well, in the MCO. We just got
0:53 dropped off. We took an Uber ride. First
0:56 time I've ever had an Uber driver with
0:59 their mother. In the passenger seat. We
1:02 made it.
1:03 We're going to Seattle.
1:06 What? Well, you know we're going to
1:07 Seattle. Yeah. Are we on here? Seattle.
1:11 Seattle. Right here.
1:12 Seattle. You know what my favorite words
1:15 at an airport are? Robbie Retro? Yes,
1:17 sir. What What are my favorite words? I
1:19 would imagine on time. On time. You got
1:21 it. Flying friendly skies. I don't like
1:23 I don't Well, we're flying Delta. I
1:25 don't know the friendly. Oh, that was a
1:27 Yeah, that's a different uh different
1:28 company. I don't see eastern on here. Is
1:30 eastern even still a
1:33 either way. We're going to be flying in
1:35 the sky. It'll be friendly. We'll see.
1:38 And our wait time is going to be 12
1:40 minutes to get through the
1:42 security. 4:40 right now. Our flight
1:44 departs at 6:55. We got this. Plenty of
1:46 time. Plenty of time. Gate 78. It says
1:49 12 to 15 minutes. There is nobody in the
1:51 line for gate 78. This is going to be
1:54 good.
1:57 I love this airport. It's a good
1:59 airport. Do you fly a lot? How how many
2:00 times a year do you fly? A couple times
2:02 a year. I'd say every But have you ever
2:04 flown out of here? Yeah. All right. So,
2:07 you're an accomplished flyer? Not like
2:09 you, buddy. Not the diamond club. Yeah.
2:12 This is great. There's nobody in this
2:14 line. This is beautiful. Beautiful. A
2:17 grand total of about 5 minutes, 3
2:20 minutes. So, we are going I don't
2:23 remember what gate 70 something, right?
2:26 We're over in
2:34 here. Just waiting on the gate link.
2:34 So, did you get yelled at back there?
2:37 Well, they said, "Do I?" They said,
2:38 "Take So" So, I had to take the laptop
2:40 out of the bag, which I did. And then
2:42 they said, "Do you have any other big
2:44 electronics?" And I go, "Just the
2:45 laptop." Which I took out of the bag.
2:47 And they're like, "Do you have an iPad?"
2:48 I go, "No, just the laptop." They have
2:49 any other big electronics? I got know
2:51 that's it. Then it went through and
2:53 everything was fine. But they really
2:55 wanted me to have an iPad which I don't
2:57 own.
3:04 All right. The gate link arrived on the
3:04 other side. Oh, wait. We can't go in
3:05 this
3:12 way.
3:13 Wait, maybe we can't go in this gate
3:17 link.
3:22 Oh, there's another one arriving. Let's
3:22 just get this one.
3:30 Wait. Temporarily out of service. What's
3:32 going on here?
3:34 Over here, man. What's going on?
3:47 What's happening right now, Robbie?
3:47 Here we go. All right, cool. It's flying
3:48 out of service. Back in business.
3:54 Ah, best seat in the house. Right here
3:54 on the rail. Yes. All right, we're
3:57 moving. We're Seattle bound right now.
4:00 But I guess we're going to get some
4:01 coffee at the lounge. Got a little time.
4:03 Our flight does not take off till 650.
4:07 You don't have your sea legs. You got to
4:08 sit down, right? Is that why you're
4:11 sitting? Balance. You got balance. You
4:13 got to get your sea legs here.
4:15 What airline do you usually fly when you
4:18 fly? Do you just pick and choose? I'm a
4:20 Delta guy. I've been for about a year. I
4:22 like Delta a lot. Delta out of all the
4:24 airlines that I've ever flown has the
4:26 least amount of cancellations and the
4:29 delays are usually not too bad. In my
4:32 opinion, the handily.
4:43 Yes. Are you doing the Montreal spiel
4:43 from Epcot? Porfavore. Pavore. Porfore.
4:46 Poravore.
4:48 Montana.
4:55 Did I get it right? All right. It's only
4:55 It's 6 minutes to 5. Our flight doesn't
4:58 board till 6:15. Great time. We can hang
5:01 out in the lounge for like an hour. Put
5:02 out the vibe. Put out the vibe. Yeah.
5:05 Great time.
5:07 If you want an ice coffee, we can get
5:09 you one here from the actual Starbucks
5:11 store. Yeah. All right. Heading up.
5:13 There is an there's an elevator, but the
5:15 elevator was kind of full. So, we're
5:17 walking up the stairs. I'm sure the
5:19 elevator people will beat us to the top,
5:23 but some cookies in here. I just
5:25 realized they remodeled this whole
5:27 lounge since the last time I was in
5:29 here. Got the oranges over
5:35 here. This lounge has been remodeled.
5:36 They they
5:37 uh they extended it a little bit.
5:41 Nashville hot chicken salad here.
5:44 Pepperoni. All these different dips and
5:46 cheeses. Chickpeas. I uh I love
5:50 chickpeas. Mac and
5:52 cheese salad
5:54 stuff. Minestronei chicken noodle soup.
5:58 New Orleans muffaletta. Whatever that
6:02 is. This one with a little Pike Place
6:05 roast right here next to the stained
6:07 glass. It has no coloration in
6:11 it. Yeah. Try try not to eat really
6:14 before I fly. Sometimes I will, but most
6:17 of the time I try not to. Just coffee.
6:18 All right. How is it? How's the Rice
6:20 Krispie treat? Give me your review.
6:21 Great job, Delta. Who knew? Delta makes
6:25 the best Rice Krispie treats. Oh,
6:26 really? But the only way to try it is to
6:28 come into the Delta Sky Club. Okay. Have
6:31 you had a lot of Rice Krispie treats in
6:32 your day?
6:34 Um, yeah. Is this your first Rice Krisp?
6:37 Be honest. So, is this your first Rice
6:38 Krispie treat at the Delta Sky Club?
6:41 Okay. It was my first time at the Delta
6:43 Sky Club. So, anything you eat is going
6:45 to be exciting. Yeah, man. Thank you.
6:46 This is great.
6:49 They're all yours. Knock yourself out.
6:52 Oh, man.
6:54 That's a good cookie. Amazing. The best
6:56 chocolate chip cookie you ever had.
6:58 Thank you, Delta Sky Club. You see these
6:59 in a lot of the lounges, different times
7:01 around the world. You got LA time, Paris
7:05 time, Orlando, S. Paulo, Tokyo time.
7:14 That's kind of neat when you just see
7:14 the different times. Time
7:17 changes. I'm not going to have a lot of
7:19 jet lag going to Seattle. It's like 3
7:22 hour difference. 3 hours behind Florida
7:27 time. Got these little free mints down
7:30 here when you are heading out. They also
7:33 have, didn't realize they had these,
7:34 they have power outlets all over the
7:37 lounge, but they also have these
7:38 portable charger packs that you can you
7:42 can
7:43 utilize for future
7:50 reference. Flight's still on
7:51 time. Two favorite words at an airport.
7:53 On time.
8:05 Smells good.
8:05 What's it smell like? Dreams. I just
8:08 learned something new. What did they
8:09 used to have here? Yeah, there used to
8:11 be a Flynn's arcade from Tron. Yes.
8:14 Really? At the airport? At the Orlando
8:16 airport. I bet Greg would know. Greg's
8:18 game room would probably know. Uh, it
8:20 was none here. It was back at close to
8:23 the food court. Interesting. Yeah, I
8:25 learned something new.
8:28 Well, you can look at Are you googling
8:30 it right now? I can. It's going to be a
8:32 cloudy flight. Might get some good
8:39 views as we take off for Seattle. It's
8:39 like a 6 hour and 20 minute flight. Of
8:41 course, that's with the tarmac time, you
8:43 know, on the runway and all that. That's
8:45 a pretty That's like another hour
8:47 farther than it would be to go to LA cuz
8:49 we're going all the way up to the
8:50 Pacific Northwest. We're going to be on
8:53 the plane for a while.
8:55 You ready for a 6 hour and 20-minute
8:57 flight? Time to kick the tires and light
8:59 the fires. They're making the
9:01 announcements now.
9:03 Gate 78. This is gate 74.
9:07 Now on my app, it said the flight is
9:09 delayed 5 or 10 minutes, but they just
9:11 said an ontime departure. There are a
9:13 couple flights going to Atlanta here in
9:15 the same old terminal, and they are
9:18 extremely delayed. So, there must be
9:19 some bad weather going to Atlanta. We're
9:21 not going to be going that direction.
9:23 Look at those clouds right there.
9:42 There's an alarm going off. This is
9:42 getting ready to do the push
9:43 back. A little tugboat looking thing
9:46 there. The ch the Challenger 280 is what
9:48 that's called. Little Delta 280.
10:09 It's really cold over in this area. The
10:09 air is definitely on in here.
10:17 This has been uh last time last time I
10:17 was here, this was leaking. 2952 South
10:20 St. Louis. We have all together for our
10:22 passengers to please. I feel like this
10:24 is kind of an iconic carpet here.
10:28 Yeah, it's I remember seeing it in
10:30 Ernes.
10:31 Same carpet from Ernest Saves Christmas.
10:34 It's probably been here since I know the
10:36 scenes outside when Ernest gets dropped
10:38 off when the taxi drives over. He drops
10:41 off the beginning.
10:43 What do you think? It's definitely 80s
10:46 carpet. Yeah. All right, the plane at
10:49 gate 75 has
10:52 arrived. Just pulled up. Put some little
10:54 stuff on the tires
10:57 there. We're gate 78. We'll be boarding
11:01 shortly. See, we're boarding in about 10
11:06 minutes. Oh, gang ways pulling
11:16 up to let the passengers off. I just
11:16 love air travel. It's amazing how you
11:19 can go all the way across the country
11:22 from the far pretty much the farthest
11:24 point from here in the continental US
11:27 would probably be Seattle. I can't think
11:29 of anywhere else that would be farther
11:32 continental US from here to
11:35 go without, you know, leaving the
11:37 continental US.
11:39 to Miami. That's right. 5810. You're
11:41 going to Miami. Going to Miami. Not
11:43 Miami. Going to Seattle. Going to Miami.
11:46 58.
11:48 There it is. Gate 78.
11:52 655. DL
11:59 328. Departing
11:59 shortly. Sky chefs have just pulled away
12:03 either from that plane or from this one.
12:07 There's our flight.
12:09 878. Direct flight to
12:12 Seattle. They got they got it plugged in
12:15 there to juice it up or
12:21 something. I don't know what that cord
12:21 would go to.
12:28 All right, we're sitting in 5D, 5C.
12:44 We are flying on an
12:44 A321N in the safety information
12:48 here. Safe and secure.
13:04 To be honest, I don't know if I have an
13:06 A321 card.
13:09 I
13:10 might special edition
13:18 earbuds has been flying for a hundred
13:18 years.
13:20 Going to celebrate with a little small
13:22 bottle of water here.
13:33 Put their luggage. We don't want to have
13:34 to check that because that's going to
13:35 delay us even further. We are going to
13:37 be somewhat delayed going into the
13:39 Seattle Tacoma area. There is weather
13:41 between Orlando and Seattle. We are
13:44 going to have to deviate from our flight
13:45 plan a couple times to avoid those
13:47 weather storms. So once again folks, if
13:50 you can take your seats quickly, we'll
13:51 try and get out as soon as possible and
13:54 get you on your way to Seattle.
13:57 to give the aircraft ahead time to dig
14:00 through the storms to make their way
14:01 out. So that's the reason put a slight
14:04 delay on the ramp on the taxi way. Thank
14:08 you for your patience. A lot of bad
14:09 weather. So taking some time to take
14:11 off.
14:13 15 minutes we're going to be on the
14:14 tarmac due to bad weather. A quick
14:16 reminder folks, since we are here on an
14:18 active taxi way, we will be going and
14:20 stopping. So please do not leave your
14:22 seats. Stay seated with those seat belts
14:24 fastened. Once after takeoff then it's
14:27 safe. Then you'll be able to move about
14:28 the cabinet.
16:41 Seven Seas Lagoon Bay Lake
16:41 Contemporary. It's the side of the old
16:43 river country right
17:28 On behalf of Delta and our global
17:28 airline partners, we'd like to thank you
17:30 once again for helping us celebrate our
17:33 100th year of Hawaiian.
17:39 continue safety and
17:39 reminder seat belt.
17:41 620.
18:36 one. I opted out of the meal. Didn't
18:36 feel like eating any airplane food, but
18:39 I did get an apple
18:41 juice. I also got some sun chips,
18:44 another
18:47 water with
18:49 ice,
19:21 lon? That would be really good with a
19:21 hot coffee. I like being hot. You don't
19:23 like hot coffee? I will. I'll do it for
19:26 you.
19:31 I've always heard you're not supposed to
19:31 drink coffee on an airplane. I do
19:34 sometimes, but some say it's not the
19:36 best
19:39 water. But I might get
19:42 one. I'm into 30,000 ft water.
20:03 I was watching the Rays Rangers game. It
20:03 got to like the second or third inning.
20:04 It was a rain delay and now the Wi-Fi is
20:07 cut out. Currently
20:26 see what other kind of entertainment
20:26 choices they have as far as
20:43 own original
20:43 alien American beauty. There's a little
20:47 baseball angels on the outfield. Chris
21:40 Hogan? Crocodile Bundy. Was that filmed
21:40 in Florida?
21:42 I don't I don't I don't know if that was
21:44 filmed in Florida. No, that's Crocodile
21:46 Dundee. Yeah, that was Silver 96.
22:11 We can start Horizon and finish it on
22:11 the flight. All right, part two.
22:27 Got to open up these. For some reason,
22:27 my headphones don't Bluetooth
22:30 connect. So, I got to use these
22:37 things. But whenever I listen to
22:37 podcasts and the game on my phone, I
22:40 usually have these, but for some reason,
22:42 they don't connect to
22:43 that. Heat. Heat.
23:36 off. We just keep on trying to get it
23:36 eventually. So the Wi-Fi might get
23:39 reset.
23:40 So now still not working. I wonder what
23:43 the score in the game is.
24:55 right, we both just finished Back to the
24:55 Future 2 and now next
24:58 up. Let's go all in on some some
25:03 classics. Robbie Retro and I were
25:05 watching Back to the Future 2 at the
25:08 same exact
25:31 baby. Are you
25:31 ready? 3 2
25:36 1 parallel
26:19 So it looks like because of the weather
26:19 we took quite
26:21 a indirect
26:31 route. What a bad weather in the
26:31 Midwest. Look at that. It's
26:33 like nowhere near going straight across.
26:56 be on the ground in about half an hour.
26:56 Might as the flight attendants to please
26:58 prepare the cabin for arrival. Thank
27:08 5 minutes or so. For the remainder of
27:08 the flight, please stay seated with your
27:10 seat belt securely fastened. Please
27:12 start stowing all items that you have
27:14 used during the flight. Look around your
27:16 seat area, especially for those items
27:19 that you have stowed within the seat
28:35 So you put your order in the front so
28:35 it's
32:16 great. Yeah, that was a great flight.
32:16 Great flight. Awesome flight inside. I
32:20 think I watched about one of the
32:24 game in the flight. But I did check the
32:27 I checked the school baggage claim after
32:29 it was over here in Seattle. Baggage
32:31 claim is going to be number five and we
32:34 will be arriving at gate
32:41 A14. On behalf of the crew, thank you
32:41 once again for selecting Delta. It's
32:43 been our pleasure having you on board.
32:45 Have a pleasant stay in the local area
32:47 or welcome home. Thank you. Couple
32:50 reminder folks, if you are staying here,
32:52 if this is your final destination, yes,
32:54 it's hard for us to ask that if you
32:57 could kindly stay seated. We do have a
33:00 lot of tight connections here. For those
33:02 people that are going to Anchorage,
33:04 Spokane, and please, if you can let them
33:08 off first, they would appreciate it.
33:09 Alaska.
33:11 I've been to Spokane also.
34:08 clearly. Wow.
35:07 I know.
35:25 right. All right. Have made it. I asked
35:25 the pilot for a card. He did not have
35:27 any for the particular aircraft I was
35:29 on. So, didn't get a card for that one.
35:32 But I might have already have one for
35:33 that flight. I'm not really sure for
35:34 that
35:35 aircraft. Kind of unique little items.
35:38 dangling from the ceiling
35:41 here. The Seattle Beer Union is coming
35:44 soon.
35:46 It's like parts of the machine. Kind of
35:49 does. That's late. There's the Space
35:52 Needle right there. Well, it's an
35:55 artistic rendering. A small version of
35:58 it. All right. And then Seattle, the
36:03 evergreen
36:05 state. Look at these. This is There's
36:07 the Space Needle there. Here's a little
36:09 miniature Space Needle. Two for 20. What
36:12 a deal. Look at this. It's a It's a snow
36:16 globe. Look at that.
36:21 Big ferris
36:22 wheel. This is like a squid holding a
36:25 holding the Space Needle.
36:28 Like the shirt. Two for 20. You can't
36:30 beat that. Yeah, that's nice. Maybe.
36:33 Yeah,
36:35 this is like
36:36 cozy. Oh, look at this. You're a big
36:40 movie guy.
36:42 Oh, Sleepless in Seattle.
36:46 Yeah.
36:53 A nice little
36:53 artistic colorful box there.
37:11 Look at that like plane just dangling
37:11 from the roof there. There's also
37:13 another one over
37:14 here. They're doing some serious
37:16 construction in here also.
37:57 are. It is 2:00 a.m. in Florida. It's 11
37:57 p.m.
37:59 here. Rental car facility
38:02 shuttle. We got to get on this. How do
38:05 we get in there? This
38:07 way. Oh, you got to go this
38:09 way and then around the other
38:16 way. It's just like
38:25 LAX. Yeah, we're definitely not in
38:25 Florida. There's a heater above our
38:28 head right there. I don't need those
38:30 No, no, no. Ever. Definitely
38:38 not. Picking up the rental
38:38 car and going to the hotel
38:42 check-in. All right, got the
38:45 car. You go to the hotel with the exit
38:49 first. Pretty easy, pretty
39:00 They have the heater on. They did have
39:00 the heater on. We turned it off quickly.
39:03 Yeah, we both share the same sentiment
39:05 of even as cold when it's cold, do not
39:07 turn the heat on. We're not used to it.
39:10 I don't like having heat on ever. Even
39:12 when it's freezing cold. Yeah, that's
39:14 just me. I'm weird. Our buddy Kyle's the
39:17 same way. He's a no heater kind of guy.
39:19 That's right. That's why we're all
39:21 friends. That's for you, Kyle. No heat
39:23 ever.
39:25 Yeah, there's definitely some things
39:27 about this airport that I remember the
39:28 last time I was here, and this is one of
39:32 them. This little ramp that goes down,
39:35 they have it illuminated blue at night.
39:37 It's all lit up
39:42 blue. It's like a netting. It's like a
39:42 fish net. Yeah. Made out of chain link.
39:45 Yeah, that's unique.
39:54 You never been to Seattle, right? My
39:54 first time here. Yeah. Maybe you'll get
39:57 to see Ken Griffy Jr. who I've met
39:59 before, actually. You met Ken Griffy?
40:01 Yeah. He signed a baseball for me. Did
40:03 you meet his dad? No. I'd like to. Is
40:06 his dad still alive? Good question. But,
40:08 you know, they played together on the at
40:11 the same time. I know. They were the
40:12 father and son duo. Yeah.
40:16 The Griffies. And I want to say King Jr.
40:20 made an appearance on the Harrington
40:21 Henderson's TV show. Doesn't that sound
40:24 right? All right, we're over at the
40:25 hotel now. Just checking the key fob
40:26 they gave me for the rental car. I don't
40:29 know if this is going to work. This is
40:31 the key fob. It looks like it's only
40:34 half. There's no way I can lock the car.
40:37 So, probably in the morning going to
40:40 have to go change it out. Anyway,
40:44 nonetheless,
40:46 unless we can push buttons and figure it
40:49 out.
40:50 Uh, I don't feel comfortable only having
40:52 a half of a one key fob. I mean, I've
40:55 never seen like that before. Yeah. Yeah.
40:59 Find an update. Hold on a second. Maybe
41:02 maybe it will work cuz there are buttons
41:03 on the side. It's half a key fob, but
41:05 there are buttons on the side. So, maybe
41:07 we maybe it will work. And after a
41:09 arduous check-in process, we had to move
41:13 parking lots parked over here. You had
41:15 to be there. It was an experience. You
41:18 had to be there. That took a while. That
41:19 took a while. Now we're going to the
41:21 room, calling it a night. The key fob
41:22 works. We had to move the car. The key
41:25 fob works. So, I don't think I'm going
41:26 to probably go back to the rental car
41:27 company tomorrow. I think I'm just going
41:28 to keep it. Anyway, that's going to do
41:31 it for today. Thanks for watching. We're
41:33 in Seattle. See you in the next video.
41:35 The vlog is Seahawks.
