0:10 woo I'm in the streets of California

0:13 it's bright and early the sun's barely

0:15 not even out yet it's about 7:00

0:17 California time trying to cross the road

0:20 but I'm waiting over there on that light

0:23 to change see that light right there

0:25 that's a hand sign that says don't walk

0:28 so I'm not going to walk

0:31 until that

0:33 turns I haven't had my coffee yet I'm

0:35 going to walk down there to a coffee

0:36 shop momentarily and have my first

0:39 caffeine of the day so I'm pretty

0:40 excited to have some caffeine here in

0:43 California if it if this thing would

0:44 only turn I'm ready to cross the road I

0:47 really don't want a jwalk the last thing

0:48 you want when you're traveling out of

0:50 town is a jwalk charge we don't want

0:52 that it's a daily woo did I do the intro

0:57 woo there we go look it's a walking

1:07 this road somebody famous this was a

1:26 also did a movie called Reservoir Dogs

1:28 it was the movie that pretty much broke

1:35 these streets of Highland Park you see

1:37 the bar is all over the windows we have

1:39 a homeless man over there collecting

1:41 bottles for change to survive he just

1:46 Tarantino style but his own style live

1:52 have bars on the

1:54 Windows all kind of murals painted out

1:57 here this mural is kind of hidden from

1:59 everything one you wouldn't even know

2:00 this mural was here unless you oh look a

2:12 Dogs remember Mr Pink Mr Pink had his

2:16 run shootout with the police officer

2:19 cops right down this road there's a pay

2:22 phone here bars on the Windows all these

2:25 shots can be seen in the movie he's

2:28 talking to Harvey kitel

2:30 and then immediately cuts to a scene and

2:32 he's right here in front of this area

2:34 sprinting right down this road you can

2:36 find the clips on YouTube if you go

2:37 check it out I think you can type in Mr

2:39 Pink shootout with the cops or Reservoir

2:42 Dogs one of the

2:43 clips it's

2:45 online it's so early no one's out here I

2:47 wanted to get out here before the

2:48 streets were bustling with people I'm

2:51 not sure if this street is ever really

2:52 even bustling if it is there's me

2:56 look right there I can pretend I'm Mr

2:59 Pink and run from the cop but I don't

3:01 really like police officers chasing me

3:03 especially when they have loaded weapons

3:05 but that's what happened to Steve Bushi

3:07 played the part of Mr Pink and he ran

3:09 right down these

3:11 roads pretty awesome it was the movie

3:14 that broke Quinton

3:16 Tarantino and made him what he is today

3:18 of course Pulp Fiction was huge the

3:20 Reservoir Dogs to Quinton Tarantino fans

3:22 a lot of people say that's his best

3:24 movie let me show you down here

3:26 something pretty fantastic that happened

3:28 continuing on down the road we got lots

3:30 of alleys you can see all this in the

3:32 background when he's

3:34 running right here is a famous shot look

3:36 at this see that little dip right there

3:40 where the sidewalk dips down where that

3:42 blue car would have been would have been

3:45 where he would have been sprinting he

3:46 ran into two guys there and his

3:48 briefcase went over the side of the car

3:51 it was actually kind of an error he was

3:52 supposed to hit the guy when he hit one

3:54 of the guys running on the side of the

3:55 road the briefcase went over into the

3:57 road and landed right there on the side

4:00 of where that blue car would have been

4:02 and then Steve bimy went around grabbed

4:04 it and continued sprinting on right down

4:06 this way you can see all these in the

4:08 background this would have been rolled

4:10 up I think that's a pawn shop now you

4:12 can prominently be seen but right there

4:14 he would have been sprinting and running

4:16 seriously you should look the clip Up on

4:17 YouTube it's pretty awesome up here we

4:19 have a coffee shop which can also SE be

4:22 be seen very very prominently in the

4:25 scene I'm GNA actually get some coffee

4:27 in this coffee shop this coffee shop is

4:30 known not known for Reservoir Dogs but

4:32 it is the shot where all the the police

4:34 officers congregated right here at the

4:36 end of the road and they were shooting

4:39 at Steve Bushi right around the corner

4:41 so the shot would have been basically

4:42 right here the police officers were

4:44 looking that way one guy in the middle

4:47 got shot right there it hit him a bullet

4:49 hit him Steve bim's bullet hit him you

4:52 can also see when he turns the corner

4:54 here and runs you can see all this in

4:56 the background which you'll be able to

4:58 compare when you check out the YouTube

5:22 comes over here the camera angle would

5:25 way he would have dragged the woman out

5:27 of the car she' have been not too happy

5:29 Kicking and Screaming dragged her right

5:31 now we have a mural out there but you

5:33 can see all this he dragged her out of

5:35 the car got in the car drove off that

5:38 way the police officer chased him down

5:40 that road the camera angles in the back

5:42 of the car through the brok broken

5:43 window straight up there Cinema history

5:46 right over here was a gas station the

5:48 gas station is completely gone but if

5:50 you don't believe there was a gas

5:51 station here look at this look we still

5:54 have the self-served gas sign which has

5:57 been changed the line form here prob a

5:59 food stamp line or an art gallery line
