0:03 welcome everyone Adam the woo here today
0:03 under the bridge downtown is where I'm
0:07 starting this Vlog I'm doing a little
0:11 rocking because I am in Little Rock see
0:17 what I did there it's my second channel
0:18 daily Vlog channel it's it all started
0:22 with that Little Rock no kidding it's
0:24 the daily woo this was the very first
0:28 rock scene by French Explorer Bernard De
0:32 La Harpe on his voyage from the mouth of
0:34 the Mississippi in
0:37 1722 ooo it is a cold crisp
0:41 37° I like it my favorite type of
0:43 weather is definitely hoodie weather and
0:46 I want to check out a piece of history
0:49 in this Cemetery
0:51 but I don't think my RV will fit through
0:53 there should be able to get in this way
0:58 hopefully well Maybe
1:00 not maybe
1:10 not fail fail I parked way around the
1:10 backside thought maybe I could take a
1:12 shortcut but got to go back to that
1:14 front gate the way this cemetery is set
1:16 up is there are unpaved only walkable
1:19 grass rows almost like streets they have
1:23 their own names that one is Maple and
1:27 the one I'm looking for is right here
1:29 and Elm Street seems to be a lot of
1:33 those in this neck of the woods Texas
1:37 and
1:38 Arkansas a lot of Elm streets even
1:40 though this technically isn't a street
1:42 it's just a row and I think this might
1:44 be
1:49 it this
1:49 pillar here lies the
1:51 remains of David O
1:54 DOD better known as the
1:58 Arkansas boy
2:01 martyr of the
2:08 Confederacy his final resting place
2:08 right there on January 8th 1864 he was
2:11 put to death for being a spy and his
2:14 body was placed there for nearly half a
2:17 century it was in an unmarked
2:20 grave until 1913 the daughters of the
2:24 Confederacy built that Monument for him
2:26 but the interesting footnote about this
2:28 is he wasn't even of legal age yet he
2:31 was only 17 which doesn't really
2:34 constitute childhood by any means but
2:37 definitely not full-fledged adulthood I
2:40 am not the same person I was when I was
2:42 17 and for that reason he has been given
2:46 the Eternal name the boy martyr of the
2:50 Confederacy just about a mile down the
2:53 road is where that very horrific event
2:57 took place it is said that over 6,000
2:59 people showed up to watch it even though
3:02 it was freezing cold outside and the
3:04 Arkansas River was completely frozen
3:07 over people wanted to see it happen I
3:09 don't know I don't know if I can watch
3:12 that personally that's
3:14 him
3:23 spot right there there are no
3:23 photographs of the account but it is
3:25 said that he was sitting on top of his
3:28 casket being head like a procession to
3:31 the spot and he had to supply his own
3:34 blindfold they didn't even give him a
3:36 blindfold so he brought his
3:39 own
3:41 that that's crazy nothing really growing
3:44 this time of year in these
3:47 Planters but check this out this was
3:50 also the spot of the first human
3:56 dissection in
3:57 Arkansas November 18 74 random but
4:01 interesting piece of medical history
4:04 right there oh downtown Little Rock did
4:08 you ever think that you would grow from
4:10 a tiny Pebble or a boulder well I guess
4:14 neither of those things this gu peeing
4:16 over
4:17 there oh Little Rock you don't
4:20 disappoint you might remember a sitcom
4:22 in the mid to8 80s through the early
4:25 '90s called Designing Women that was
4:28 based around
4:30 Atlanta
4:36 Georgia spoiler alert it wasn't in
4:36 Atlanta in fact the cast of characters
4:38 that included Delta Burke Annie pots and
4:41 even Jan Hooks that's right the same
4:44 lady that disappointed Peewee that there
4:46 was no basement at the alamoo their base
4:49 of operations was right here and they
4:54 did not film inside they only Ed the
4:56 exteriors but this is it and if you own
4:58 the DVD sets their faces can be seen
5:02 photoshopped Above This
5:06 facade true story with its rod iron
5:09 fence its elegant porch and
5:14 mysteriously beautiful
5:17 Windows this is a pretty awesome house
5:20 built in 1881 not really sure what's
5:23 going on here if there is some
5:26 purposeful symbolism behind this or just
5:30 an accident that happened on its own
5:33 this is around the backside of the house
5:37 the angle you don't see on tele behind
5:40 the scenes this is pretty cool and if
5:44 you listen very closely you might be
5:47 able to hear the faint sounds of Ray
5:51 Charles inside there on his piano with
5:55 the cast sitting next to him
6:02 Georgia oh
6:03 Georgia Georgia oh my
6:07 mind poor little rock about to go up
6:10 something called Snake
6:12 Hill should be interesting I see where
6:15 it gets its name
6:17 though I definitely see where it gets
6:19 its name man this is very steep this is
6:22 really steep we talked about Television
6:25 TV show history now let's delve into a
6:28 little movie history one of the greatest
6:32 and most majestic films of all time
6:36 something right up here along this
6:37 Waterway stands in fact the last
6:41 remaining tidbit screen used from that
6:46 film is located right up here I should
6:48 rephrase that a little bit there are
6:50 props as far as clothing and you know
6:52 things that were shown in rooms from the
6:54 film that are in museums all around this
6:57 I'm referring to is a structure a
6:59 building the last remaining one from the
7:02 1939 classic Gone With the Wind on a
7:06 side note that bridge is pretty wildl
7:09 looking no one really knows for sure why
7:12 the producers set designers and location
7:15 Scouts chose this Old
7:19 Mill but they did and the rest is
7:23 history movie history epic movie history
7:28 now it can only be seen for a very short
7:30 duration at the beginning of the film
7:32 during the credit sequence but it is
7:35 amazing the fact that this still exists
7:38 you can walk through it you can touch it
7:40 you can take pictures of it this is the
7:44 only remaining building from Gone With
7:48 the Wind my mind is slightly blown right
7:52 now okay it's happening right now it's
7:57 happening I am going to go
8:01 inside the Old Mill the date stamp on
8:05 the side a carving says
8:08 1832 is when it was originally
8:11 constructed that famous wheel down there
8:15 wow look at this this pulley that a rope
8:18 used to be hanging from let's go let's
8:23 go into the nether regions I'm just
8:25 sitting here watching the wheel go round
8:28 and round
8:31 and the water likes to flow I'm up on
8:34 the second floor
8:44 now it's been redone been repurposed and
8:44 stronger structures have been
8:48 built because of the amount of tourists
8:50 that come out here you have to make it
8:53 structurally
8:55 sound this is pretty freaking cool
9:00 people have also written their
9:04 names along the roof and the headboards
9:08 I don't think I'm going to do that I
9:10 don't think it's allowed sometimes I
9:12 will place my name in locations when
9:15 there's a sign designating that it's not
9:18 frowned upon but I don't think I don't
9:22 think you're supposed to do that the
9:23 side you don't see on screen around the
9:27 back is a beautiful little Park that
9:30 they have built around the property as
9:33 well if you get the hankering in fact
9:36 you can sit next to these mushroom these
9:38 are some large mushrooms I don't think
9:42 no they're not real they're made out of
9:44 they're made out of some sort of
9:46 concrete material as is these what
9:50 appear to be wooden bridges but don't be
9:54 fooled
9:55 these are not made out of wood
9:59 that is also a concrete esque type
10:03 material Bridge not a Todd Bridge not a
10:06 Jeff Bridge not even a Bow Bridge but a
10:10 heavily constructed bridge that will not
10:27 Decay that's that's kind of difficult to
10:41 whistle okay that's that's really tough
10:41 I wonder if these two fowl have ever
10:43 been given the names scarlet and Rett
10:47 probably not the first person who have
10:49 suggested
10:50 that he's looking at me though Rhett who
10:54 I've so named was just staring at me he
10:56 went back to his business of
10:58 scratching he doesn't care what I'm
11:00 saying he's basically thinking frankly
11:03 Adam the woo I don't give a you know you
11:06 can finish the rest one last view
11:08 looking
11:10 downward that was pretty cool I got to
11:13 admit that was pretty cool going to stop
11:16 off at this Best Buy see if they have
11:19 the tripod I always use that I always
11:22 lose the last few stores haven't had
11:25 them I don't know what the deal is but
11:27 hopefully they're not discontinued and
11:29 it doesn't
11:30 appear like they have it here either I
11:34 stepped it up a
11:35 notch started driving that
11:39 around would you still love me the
11:41 search for that tripod is a real
11:44 conundrum it's a regional thing some
11:46 Best Buys don't carry it this one didn't
11:49 have it but there's another one 10 or 15
11:52 milom here that supposedly has
11:56 four in stock should I take a chance and
11:59 drive over
12:01 there yeah heck it let's do it there's
12:04 the state capital signal ahead freeway
12:08 ends does is there a a traffic signal
12:12 ahead or am I supposed to leave a signal
12:15 like wave and make a signal that the
12:18 freeway's ending it's very confusing all
12:22 right let's give this one a shot well
12:25 Bucky and bat
12:27 boy I don't think be running out of
12:29 tripods for a while since they're nearly
12:31 impossible to find in some areas in the
12:34 store I went ahead and got all they had
12:37 and thumbs up for internet price
12:39 matching this eventful day has left me
12:42 with quite an appetite we go Whole Foods
12:45 and try to find something to eat I never
12:47 knew what the king of cheeses look like
12:50 looks like a pretty nice guy some talini
12:52 in there some vegetables some
12:55 salad and some peas these called peas
13:09 please this is
13:09 good I feel like my
13:19 body has been missing this in recent
13:19 time
13:22 periods much needed to say the
13:25 least oh
13:41 good A little foliage in your life never
13:41 heard anyone see you guys tomorrow
13:45 Vlog over oh you're still in there dang
13:49 it I screwed it up
