0:10 well over 20 locations it has expanded
0:14 quite a bit around the Greater Los
0:16 Angeles area and I'm gonna go to the
0:18 very first spot where it all began
0:22 inviting you to join me shalyah got my
0:27 batteries all recharged packaged stuff
0:29 up and heading out you know I agree with
0:33 you big the foot I didn't think this
0:34 series would last as long as it has
0:37 either it's kind of nice Doug as it
0:39 gives us something to do well still a
0:42 lot of things are closed around these
0:45 parts arrived at the cross streets of
0:48 the 2600 North block of Rose View Ave
0:53 and Cypress Street
1:05 right over there it is King Taco King
1:05 taco number one they refer to at us this
1:08 location opened in 1974 which just so
1:12 happens to be the year I was born six
1:15 months prior to that the gentleman who
1:17 created King taco had a food truck a
1:21 converted ice-cream truck and he is
1:25 noted by some as being the inventor of
1:28 the modern food truck while the modern
1:33 food truck with a modern taco truck the
1:36 same guy who started this place a very
1:40 well-known and popular place this will
1:45 be my first time the first time at not
1:49 only the first one but also my first
1:51 time at any of them I've heard nothing
1:54 but good thanks
2:02 quite a full menu a poll there is
2:02 blocking nachos tamales burritos an
2:07 assortment of
2:13 through these old old-school tables
2:13 there as well and they are open for take
2:17 out the neon sign in the window maybe go
2:22 with some soft tacos that is what they
2:25 are definitely known for oh there you go
2:30 it's a nice old-school piece of signage
2:33 there they specialize in beef and pork
2:38 soft tacos you could eat here or
2:41 available to go the best in town you
2:45 best in town I believe that's a crown
2:49 there on top of the the sign most likely
2:53 under the Shroud of nightfall it is
2:55 illuminated I think that's a crown up
2:58 top has the kitchen tool in hand there

3:11 the way they have it set up now the
3:13 front door is actually the exit you have
3:14 to go around towards the back end to go
3:17 in and have one way in one way out

4:50 I ordered three soft tacos and also
4:55 nachos put the nachos I didn't get any
4:57 weight on but they are gonna put cheese
5:00 and jalapenos on them as well oh there's

5:37 where I'm gonna sit nice and this is
5:42 what we're dealing with the the item in
5:45 this cup is I believe it's pronounced or
5:47 chopped or chod to help to be honest
5:51 with you I do not know what flavour that
5:55 is let me just kind of pop the the top
6:00 there he kind of seems to be rather
6:02 frothy I was gonna go with I was gonna
6:05 go with like a soda or maybe even the
6:08 the bottle two bottles of water like I
6:10 have been doing but I figure this would
6:12 be the best option try something that
6:15 I'm not really familiar with I hear a
6:17 helicopter going over
6:40 and take a sip ooh oh my goodness that
6:40 is really correct
6:48 Wow I don't even know what flavor that
6:48 would be but it's not like a little I
6:50 don't want to say spice bus got like a
6:52 little kick it's got a little kick you
6:57 could feel it like throw it a little bit
7:00 really refreshing as far as what's in
7:05 the rest of the plastic container now
7:11 she asked which type of sauce I wanted
7:15 and she said I want the red sauce or the
7:18 green sauce and I was kind of confused I
7:20 thought they were gonna go ahead and
7:21 just automatically put it on there she
7:23 was nice enough to just give me both
7:24 both of them these might be what is it
7:27 these may be the tacos okay yeah here we

7:32 there are the three now size wise
7:37 they're not really I'm glad I ordered
7:38 the nachos as well because size wise
7:40 these would probably not fill me up but
7:43 they look delicious the onions on there
7:45 the little seasonings the two layers
7:49 there okay these are going to be these
7:52 are gonna be really good inside of here
7:57 oh yeah look at there's uh oh my gosh
7:59 there's actually cauliflower
8:01 if cauliflower and carrots on these
8:03 those are some those are some exorbitant
8:07 amounts there's like a lot of goodness
8:10 going on in there I see some onions I
8:11 see the cheese I see the jalapenos the
8:15 aforementioned other two things of
8:17 veggies yeah okay so let me just shift
8:20 this around you can see the entire the
8:24 entire item best that I have going on
8:28 here don't know which one to go into
8:31 first go in for a notch out I'm gonna
8:35 get a little
8:36 he's here decent size
8:45 cauliflower my godhood cauliflower Naja
8:45 I've had cauliflower tacos before
8:48 sometimes I've been in the mood for this
8:49 but I lived in Hollywood on Hollywood
8:51 Boulevard
8:51 there was a taco place and sometimes I
8:54 would get sands to meet and I would get
8:57 cauliflower cauliflower stalkers are
8:59 really good so this just makes sense to
9:00 have it on the nacho
9:03 the notch si
9:40 I'm using the cheese as the chaser
9:40 hmm originally I was going to order four
9:43 of these and then I noticed that they
9:46 had the sight of nachos so opted for
9:49 three it's a good choice because that's
9:50 a there's a lot going on here three will
9:53 be plenty and I'm mighty well I'll
9:56 probably finish it all but this is a lot
9:57 of food
9:58 starting with the green sauce the green
10:01 might be more flavorful and spicy than
10:04 the red so what I'm gonna do is I'm just
10:08 gonna hold up the first talk out I'm not
10:13 gonna go too heavy I'm just kind of kind
10:14 of
10:16 just a couple drops there
10:18 and I don't know if the green is gonna
10:20 be added in there at I love these little
10:23 soft tacos
10:48 the green sauce not too spicy not too
10:48 toke too terribly warm after eating the
10:50 jalapeno maybe I've just acclimated to
10:53 it
11:11 I haven't had these type of tacos I've
11:11 had hardshell I've had the fried shell
11:14 I've had soft talk now you think of like
11:18 a fast-food establishment soft taco is
11:23 different than the traditional style
11:25 like this
11:30 the last time I had a taco like this is
11:30 back when I lived in Hollywood
11:34 my buddy Jordan the lion
11:37 also lived in my
11:41 lived in my neighborhood here's the red
11:43 sauce okay the red sauce okay
11:46 judging by whole West
12:08 it's pretty good I think I preferred the
12:09 other I think I prefer this this one
12:12 actually let's just mix them up well
12:15 splash a little too much lost a little
12:18 bit of the meat there but him and I
12:21 sometimes in the evenings get a little
12:23 hungry to get each other up and say bond
12:27 is not there anymore cuz right across
12:30 from the Palladium next to the right a
12:34 there Gower Gulch I had some dang good
12:38 tacos they were very so they had the
12:40 carne asada and I would always get those
12:42 it's been about a year since I've had
12:45 these style the carne asada soft taco
12:48 the tortilla that minister tortillas
12:51 doubled up like that
12:58 it reminds me those days I like the
12:58 green sauce a lot
13:11 this drink is amazing
13:11 cinnamon after that the flavor a big
13:14 cinnamon flavor
13:26 glad I got the large on our
13:26 good
13:32 you'll notice people are going in the
13:32 exit so it's not blocked off to go in
13:34 the exit even that's normally entrance
13:36 but during you know current day supposed
13:40 to go in the back and do it but you can
13:41 still go in this way I'm seeing a lot of
13:43 people doing side even when I was
13:44 waiting for my order but you have to go
13:46 in and go get in the rest of the line
13:48 which starts at the back row don't have
13:50 this blocked off seat go in either wire
13:52 because supposed to go supposed to
13:55 follow the signage around the back then
13:56 I almost walked in the front door when I
14:00 first came out and I opened the doors
14:03 different here okay I have finished the
14:06 three this is one I have left of this
14:09 tin foil they wrapped the three in the
14:11 tin foil you know what I was just going
14:16 to kind of use this and shovel it in
14:18 dump it bonded my nachos
14:23 a little food hack for you there we go
14:29 just get all the little nooks and
14:31 crannies on there when I was waiting in
14:33 line
14:33 I noticed napkin dispensers
14:36 I did not I didn't think I had to grab
14:40 any napkins I could go back in but I
14:42 don't want to walk in the answer
14:48 so I'm just kind of just gonna power
14:48 three four down okay let me get a good
14:51 chunk of stuff here look at all this I
14:54 need a jalapeno on there with just a
14:57 little jalapeno just like that that is
15:01 for nacho status if ever there was one I
15:06 like the nachos for great nice addition
15:20 good nacho packs a punch

15:30 big goodness for cheese it helps curb

15:31 the heated sensation going on in our
15:33 mouths
15:45 peppers are in acquired taste
15:45 I am a novice when it comes to any sort
15:49 of item that is spicy but do you like
15:53 Indian food
15:54 could you like curry as long as it's
15:56 like moderately mild I do like a little
15:59 kick
16:11 I'm starting to get full on to reiterate
16:11 I'm glad I got the large beverage
16:14 probably gonna finish about another half
16:17 of these givers have put my trash in
16:19 that the bag there blocked the signage
16:22 behind me with a little some shade a
16:26 little little bonding there that they
16:30 have drawn out because of the sign it's
16:32 a good idea you're sitting out here I'm
16:34 already under it regular
16:37 this longing is permanent that's just
16:39 like a temporary one there around the
16:41 other the other side as well you see
16:43 every way this pulling up is a little
16:45 confusing where the entrance taxes
16:58 and the grand scheme of things I guess
16:58 how it really doesn't matter
17:02 because once you're in you just get on
17:02 there isn't
17:05 there might be done with jalapenos like
17:09 my whole inside of my mouth every nuance
17:13 of the mouth inside
17:24 this would have been good lather with
17:26 the meat as well
17:28 I've shown enough photo that was like
17:30 large photo on the wall we could see how
17:33 with the meter we gonna have a little
17:34 bit of leftover become attackers
17:37 and of course the carrot carrots some
17:40 nachos who the thought
17:47 it's kind of the type of type of sheet
17:47 you know we go to a baseball game and
17:50 you order nachos it's that type of
17:52 cheese that kind of melted cheese but
17:56 what's the baseball games I've been too
17:57 sad No
18:03 I wanted to go to some Los Angeles
18:03 Dodgers baseball games I lived in
18:05 Hollywood I did not do that in the two
18:07 years I lived up in Hollywood and now
18:10 that I'm down in Orange County
18:11 I'm only maybe two miles three miles at
18:14 give or take a couple miles from the
18:16 Anaheim Angels Stadium so when
18:18 everything kind of gets back to semi
18:20 regular routine and the season starts
18:23 out that might be another year so I
18:25 would like to go to some games not to
18:27 have like box seats or anything like
18:28 that just get kind of there
18:31 the nosebleeds
18:42 get a hot dog and what made me think of
18:42 it for these not just some nachos have
18:45 is a peanut totally off subject
18:54 the good thing about this eating fear is
18:54 like I just tell you what's immediately
18:56 popping into my head
19:04 imminent this side would have been a
19:04 meal in itself future reference stating
19:09 this now this would have been a meal
19:11 especially if I would've got to meet
19:12 this would be a full meal in itself
19:14 didn't II need to get the talk house I'm
19:17 glad I did they were good
19:40 jalapeno the mixture of things they put
19:40 on there I almost forgot there were
19:42 onions on there because the peppers are
19:43 so prominent
