0:22 officially I mean it closed a while back

0:25 but now it is officially erased from

0:28 existence because today is the opening

0:30 the official opening day of Tiana's byou

0:33 Adventure I am very excited to see what

0:37 they have done with it I have stayed

0:38 spoiler-free I've seen a few photos here

0:41 and there got a few messages from

0:42 friends who wrote it said that they

0:44 enjoyed it but I haven't seen any videos

0:48 no rideth through footage nothing don't

0:50 ask me how I have stayed off the grid

0:53 with that in the old Splash Mountain

0:57 facade ride ride vehicle Tiana is taken

1:02 over didn't do the cast member preview

1:04 CU I'm not a cast member didn't do the

1:05 annual pass previews because I was out

1:08 of town on a road trip and now I'm here

1:11 for the hype the

1:13 excitement and The Hoot nannies and

1:15 Hollow BL of the opening day the

1:17 official first day Tiana's Bayou

1:20 Adventure join

1:22 me that's warm shall you the Magic

1:26 Kingdom opens and rope drop happens at

1:29 8: a

1:37 a.m. about 7:18 right

1:37 now now at 700 a.m. a virtual queue

1:40 availability popped up on the My Disney

1:42 Experience

1:45 app let me tell you that is a very

1:47 stressful time period trying to be one

1:50 of the first ones to get the virtual

1:52 queue before they're booked up within

1:54 half a second right at the click of 700

1:58 a.m. I linked up my pass to my boarding

2:03 group and I got the virtual queue and I

2:06 am good to go with the virtual queue I

2:08 also purchased lightning Lane but

2:10 lightning lanes are not available yet at

2:11 this time frame maybe a little later

2:14 maybe when I get on property but I

2:16 officially got one ride locked in

2:18 assuming the attraction doesn't break

2:20 down like it has been during the

2:21 previous heading underneath the archway

2:25 most magical place on Earth yeah if it

2:28 works out it's about 720 three right now

2:31 by the time I get to the gate of Magic

2:33 Kingdom I've taken the Monella or the

2:34 boat over to probably be rope drop at 8

2:36 not sure if they're going to do any spe

2:38 special festivity wise but we'll see

2:40 it's like the trams are readying up for

2:42 the day I can hear a couple of them

2:43 already cranked up the engines

2:45 are hurrying a little

2:56 bit that van is going the other

2:56 direction everyone else is going this

2:58 one

3:02 know I am definitely here for this

3:05 experience I'll show a little ride foot

3:08 footage but for me it's all about the

3:10 hype of an opening doing something for

3:12 the first time and The Vibes the

3:16 experience and the merch and the

3:18 food I'm ready for this there's a lot of

3:20 rideth through videos online already so

3:22 you could you can watch full rideth

3:23 throughs other places but I'll show some

3:24 footage from their that's no secret

3:25 splash mount was one of my all-time

3:27 favorite Walt Disney World attractions

3:29 loved it so much I was here on the final

3:31 day one of the best days I probably ever

3:34 had the last day of country bear jamere

3:37 was pretty amazing too just the crowd

3:38 that showed up and the excitement in the

3:41 air when those last logs were dropping

3:43 it' be the same logs today but you know

3:45 different attraction progress moving on

3:48 and I do love Princess and the Frog I

3:49 like Tiana I like the movie I'm curious

3:52 how they how they continue on with the

3:55 post movie on the on the attraction

3:57 temperature at 736 76 7° here at the

4:00 Magic Kingdom park and my group number

4:03 is in the 40 so I don't know what time

4:05 that means I'm going to get I'm hoping

4:06 maybe before noon noon it's going to be

4:08 90° going to get up to 91 at 2:00

4:12 p.m. that's your forecast my forecast

4:16 our forecast together all our forecasts

4:19 that are here at Magic Kingdom it looks

4:21 like they're sending everyone to the

4:22 farthest farthest possible checkpoint

4:24 way down

4:26 there they have Reed the stanions they

4:29 have ready the lines the queue is

4:32 preparing for the masses I'm getting

4:35 here I say the early bird gets the worm

4:37 today the early word early bird gets a

4:40 drop

4:42 in takeing the mon rail figure it' be

4:44 quicker than waiting for the boat want

4:46 to get over there see what's happening

4:49 rope trop all right there it is group

4:51 number

4:52 43 I'm saying like again this is it's

4:55 very you got to have you quick fingers

4:57 and be ready right at the moment it's

4:59 also not the easiest thing to get a

5:01 reservation for today there weren't a

5:02 whole lot of them but I kept trying and

5:05 I eventually got one being an annual

5:06 passholder if I wasn't able to get one I

5:09 consider just buying a one-day ticket I

5:11 don't know if those might be sold out

5:12 too but or not sold out but the

5:14 reservations might be booked for those

5:15 but ended up getting a reservation and I

5:18 have a boarding group if I could just

5:20 get a lightning Lan all will be right in

5:22 the world but as of this moment it is

5:25 not available

5:27 yet not currently offered

5:30 now the other ones it looks like some of

5:31 the other ones are already showing

5:34 up for the lightning line but maybe

5:37 they're not going to do lightning

5:40 Lan on to

5:42 honest I just feel like it's hard to

5:44 give a get a give a proper your thoughts

5:47 and

5:48 ride when you just go through something

5:50 one time those logs move pretty fast

5:52 also even though I haven't seen

5:54 anything everyone has told me that has

5:56 gone on it that they actually kind of

5:58 enjoyed it so

6:00 I have high hopes for

6:02 this think I might be pleasantly

6:13 surprised all right I made it over with

6:13 10 minutes to spare to get to the

6:26 gate I'm almost there I don't I don't

6:26 want to use that J car over yeah I'm

6:29 to a couple of people on the montre rail

6:31 and they said they tried getting

6:32 lightning Lane just a few moments ago

6:34 and the lightning Lane well the genie

6:36 plus was sold out for the day

6:39 so luckily I ended up purchasing the

6:42 lightning Lane when I was at home even

6:43 though I couldn't or the genie I booked

6:45 the genie plus but I didn't book the

6:47 lightning light yet but I have the genie

6:48 plus capability because I purchased that

6:50 at like 6:00 a.m. all very confusing

6:53 what maybe not at 6:00 a.m. but I

6:54 purchased it before I got in the car to

6:55 drive over here it's it's a whole

6:58 confusing process it be think so

7:00 difficult there it is new Tiana's Bayou

7:02 Adventure join Princess Tiana on a

7:04 journey through a shimmering Bayou as

7:06 she prepares for a spirited celebration

7:10 and right there on the front of the

7:12 guide map it has the new attractions who

7:14 knew they had mountains in the bayou I

7:17 think it's supposed to be like a salt

7:18 Hill or something but yeah I didn't know

7:20 New Orleans had anyway anyway that's

7:22 been discussed many many times the

7:24 merchandise way so they want us to go

7:27 over here and get in a line over here

7:30 tucked away around the side to go to I'm

7:32 going to go and get a line for the merch

7:34 I might as well see if I can get a pen

7:35 or something wouldn't mind getting a

7:37 collectiable pin look at that sun it's

7:38 bright so basically what they're doing

7:40 is they're sending everybody to the

7:41 Overflow down Main Street kind of like

7:43 that firework post firework Mass Exodus

7:45 row and basically from there then

7:47 they're queuing everybody have to go

7:48 into the Emporium they're not opening

7:50 the gift shop over in front of the

7:52 attraction today which as the kind of

7:54 the the demand dissipates the

7:56 non-opening day they'll have all that

7:58 kind of starting but they're going to

7:59 have the merchandise today or for the

8:01 short the short future for the opening

8:04 height they're having all the

8:05 merchandise over in the Emporium and not

8:07 over in in the uh the shop in front of

8:10 where Frontier well currently Frontier

8:12 land I don't know if they're going to

8:13 turn it into New Orleans at some point

8:15 but yeah so the first thing I'm seeing

8:17 is a shortcut to the valou which I think

8:19 the only way to get over there is down

8:20 Main Street and then walk through you

8:22 know Adventure Land or Frontier land and

8:23 then cut back over there that would be

8:25 the only shortcut I guess the only way

8:28 care I don't even know I'm not even

8:29 familiar with with these characters

8:30 obviously I know the two of the main

8:32 characters but I don't remember any of

8:33 these from the film so again this is not

8:36 this is not based on the ACT I mean it's

8:38 based on the movie but it's a

8:40 continuation from what I was hearing

8:41 it's based on after the film so there is

8:44 no facila I do know that and that's I

8:47 think it's pretty well known that failer

8:49 is not going to be on the attraction I

8:52 do know that I've stayed really

8:53 spoiler-free but I do man that one's

8:55 kind of hard to avoid that news is kind

8:57 of hard to avoid look at this bucket

8:58 happen this is a passholder shirt up

9:00 here and then you got all the the

9:02 passholder versions as well I don't

9:04 think I'm going to be buying any

9:06 t-shirts I would get a pen or maybe

9:08 something like that but I don't think

9:12 this magic band though I do like the I

9:14 do like the Magic Band pluses I still

9:16 have my magic band plus from when they

9:19 first released whatever version of The

9:21 Magic Band plus this is I guess it's the

9:23 first version that came out a couple

9:24 years ago I still have the same one that

9:26 I bought got some artwork in here can

9:28 buy you the canvas or you can just buy

9:30 the other one over there you got one of

9:32 Tiana's aprons right over here oh look

9:35 at this this is a I thought maybe it was

9:37 a lazy Susan but it doesn't spin around

9:40 doesn't doesn't spin around as

9:43 well that's cute that lights up it's got

9:46 a little USB thing I think that lights

9:49 up that is pretty dang cute got the hat

9:53 there got a pot holder and an oven mitt

9:57 down here you get a lot of lot of

10:02 are kind of taking over the world so

10:04 they got plenty of Lounge fly action

10:11 log right there there's a whole bunch of

10:14 they're they're on the log going down

10:16 the they could be going down The Flume

10:18 that's going to be it's interesting

10:19 though this is set up like Disneylands

10:21 it's not set up like Walt Disney World

10:22 ride vehicle oh I do like this one in

10:24 the front right there who's even got the

10:26 he's even got the was it a trumpet right

10:28 there in the in the in the front as well

10:30 look how happy he is again set up like

10:33 Disneyland all right these must be some

10:35 of the characters are going to be seen

10:37 on the attraction they got a bunch of

10:38 different plushes over here so these are

10:41 probably look at this little turtle

10:42 right here got a lollipop over here got

10:44 some hot sauce look over here you got uh

10:47 you got mama od's hot sauce which looks

10:49 pretty good you also got some crazy

10:51 crunch treats down here some toffee

10:54 peanuts all kind of snacks oh this is

10:58 neat it's like a little piggy bank the

10:59 restaurant F here all right there are a

11:01 few different pins that one's got

11:04 Tiana's on it this's got Mama OD on it

11:07 the one I'm going to get is actually

11:09 this one right here which has the log

11:11 ride on it so you can see right there

11:13 that's kind of that's kind of like

11:14 that's that's the one I want right there

11:16 with the characters Going Down The Flume

11:17 I'm all about that that final final uh

11:20 final drop you're going to get wet all

11:24 right there is also a AP annual

11:26 passholder pin which is a little bit

11:28 larger size wise than the I know a

11:31 shortcut pin and looks like uh is Tiana

11:34 on the attraction no Tiana is not Tiana

11:36 is standing off to the side of the

11:39 attraction so this one here these are

11:41 the two different pens that I'm going to

11:43 end up purchasing the other ones are

11:44 pretty cool too but I think these are

11:45 the only two that I really want and I'll

11:48 probably put these on my pin board in

11:49 the corridor of goons next to my Splash

11:51 Mountain pen it'll always be Splash

11:53 spash Mountain to me pretty much when I

11:55 tell people you know when they ask me

11:56 where you at in the park I want to meet

11:58 up with you I just say oh over a splash

11:59 meet me a splash the only other thing

12:01 I'm really tempted to buy is this I me I

12:03 saw think the characters on The Log

12:06 right there oh my gosh no way is that a

12:09 oh I think it is it's like a little nod

12:11 to Splash look it has it has Brer on the

12:13 front of the log they have what the is

12:15 that going to did they leave that on

12:17 there did they leave the the Brer on the

12:19 front of the the log vehicle I think

12:21 they took I thought they took that off

12:24 oh is that a little Easter egg a little

12:25 nod to the pass oh there they are

12:27 they're dropping in look at the logs are

12:30 flowing the logs are uh rolling okay I

12:33 am really glad it is not broken down at

12:35 this moment they've been having some

12:36 issues with the previews from what I've

12:37 heard they've had some serious issues

12:39 with the previews but as of right now I

12:40 think it's probably good that my uh my

12:42 boarding passes my my boarding my

12:44 virtual ke is a little earlier in the

12:47 day let's watch another one drop in

12:50 everyone's got their hands up screaming

12:51 and yelling oh there it is like again

12:54 this this is not this is a sound and a

12:56 and a and a feeling seeing these logs

12:58 Drop Like This I haven't seen since the

13:00 last day of Splash and at 8:51 they are

13:03 doing 1 through 27 group

13:06 43 is my group so I should be able to be

13:09 getting on this thing pretty pretty dang

13:11 soon again like Disneyland has the uh

13:13 the style where it's like just sitting

13:15 behind each other this one you're

13:16 sitting side by side almost like

13:18 Disneyland's Space Mountain ride vehicle

13:21 but got to oh this this log's coming

13:23 down empty oh my gosh there's no one on

13:24 this log is that why I'm thinking of

13:28 thinking of the film Titanic why are the

13:29 boats why are the boats half empty well

13:31 that one's complet that one's completely

13:32 empty dropping

13:35 in yeah now my curiosity is definitely

13:38 definitely peaked a little bit just to

13:40 see what they have done with this thing

13:43 man and as I was mentioning earlier this

13:46 is the gift sh actually there's going to

13:47 be two gift shops this is the one gift

13:49 shop that's going to be open a little

13:50 bit later but right now today all the

13:53 merchandise is in the Emporium I would

13:55 imagine the mer merch is probably

13:56 already in there they're just not going

13:57 to have it open yet over here because it

14:00 would just it would definitely Bobble

14:01 neck through here with people

14:03 watching all right I got a little time I

14:06 actually ended up getting purchasing the

14:08 lightning Lane but I didn't get a

14:10 lightning Lane until 8:30 at night I

14:12 don't know if I'm going to stay here

14:13 that late but I could ride it at night I

14:15 could get a little night ride through as

14:17 well if I uh if I chose to this is the

14:22 area looks a little different over here

14:25 party draw season sign right there

14:30 so lightning Lane you use a different

14:32 entrance so that's the main entrance

14:33 there but then you got the virtual queue

14:35 is there but then lightning Lane you

14:37 bypass a lot of the virtual Q so it's

14:39 good I am doing the virtual queue cuz I

14:41 can stand in the regular line cuz I do

14:43 want to see I do want to see that q line

14:46 Y here is the current line again it's

14:48 not a standby line this you have to have

14:51 the virtual Que in order to get in this

14:53 line I'll be getting in it shortly and

14:55 again I got a couple minutes till my

14:56 boarding uh virtual queue is called so

14:59 over here in the by you General they

15:00 have removed anything that any

15:03 inclination if there was Splash there

15:05 used to be a Splash Mountain poster over

15:08 here in the corner it's been replaced

15:09 Now by this right now you can only

15:10 purchase beverages in here or you could

15:13 end up just getting a photo with the

15:14 miral over here mama OD but there's no

15:17 merchandise per se in here at the moment

15:20 really the only thing you can buy would

15:22 be like some uh some refreshments and

15:24 things like that look at that that is I

15:26 don't know this how does this like not

15:27 make you happy right there how happy he

15:29 is yeah she can bring home the Bayou

15:32 princess expands Palace into business

15:34 Empire Tiana's Palace opens to Royal

15:38 praise so that's like the theming of

15:40 this is this is after the film the

15:41 events of the film where she has

15:43 officially opened up her her restaurant

15:46 lots of good photo ops in here I wonder

15:48 if this will all have merchandise if

15:50 there will be merchandise stacked here

15:51 over time if they're just going to keep

15:52 the merchandise over in the over in the

15:55 one area that all the merchandise of

15:57 theorum is going to move it over there

15:59 so this is just kind of like maybe to

16:01 get a photo or to get a or to get a you

16:04 know wet your whistle or something

16:06 definitely just like a photo area where

16:08 you can get like a lot of photos with

16:10 these which is kind of nice if you want

16:11 to do like you know for social media and

16:13 stuff but really not a whole heck of a

16:15 lot going on in this room again I would

16:17 imagine they're probably going to put

16:19 the merchandise and everything in here

16:22 once uh once once the rides open a while

16:24 it'll be full of merch now they opened

16:25 up the lightning Lane availability right

16:27 at 9 9 2 I realized they were doing that

16:30 by the time I got mine I was my

16:32 lightning light isn't until 8:30 again I

16:34 do have the virtual queue also talking

16:36 about the bottleneck over here look this

16:38 is a this is actually the not the line

16:40 for Tiana that is the line over there

16:42 stretching to Big Thunder Mountain

16:44 Railroad wow yeah this whole area over

16:46 here is very very hectic at the moment

16:50 understandably it is opening day Tiana's

16:53 are youit oh you can look down oh they

16:56 still have the the one area over there

16:58 that even after the big drop you get

16:59 wetter on this one section you're

17:01 sitting on that right side you will get

17:03 wetter on this than you will on the on

17:05 the big drop I always wonder why they

17:06 had that waterfall right there and then

17:08 sometimes when the ride slows down right

17:09 there it'll get stuck right there and

17:11 you'll get completely soak and wet oh

17:13 there's a lot of really big cameras out

17:15 here I guess there's like a photo op

17:16 over there you got some like heavy media

17:18 presence right over there as well I'm

17:21 not really sure what this is for maybe

17:22 it's just for normal guest to get a

17:23 photo but there are people lined up all

17:25 right I stand corrected the line was not

17:26 for the photo oper or anything like that

17:28 the line with the specialty food that is

17:30 over here where the McDonald's friy

17:32 fries used to be all right it's looking

17:34 like beignet it's looking like some

17:37 shrimp gumbo all right actually the

17:38 photo pass line is this line right here

17:41 as a castman right there doing photo

17:51 pass being completely honest I don't

17:51 really like the way the system is set up

17:52 now I mean I know there's a lot of

17:54 benefits to it simply because if you do

17:57 have the virtual Cube or you do book the

17:59 lightning Lane then you are guaranteed

18:01 to get on it but it's so difficult to

18:03 get it there so many people weren't able

18:05 to get one today even met some people in

18:07 the park that are like oh I'm here but I

18:09 wasn't able to get a virtual queue I

18:10 couldn't get the lightning Lane

18:12 lightning Lane sold out too quickly the

18:15 last one I remember where you could just

18:16 show up you know let's say you wanted to

18:18 show up at like 3:00 a.m. and line up or

18:20 you know ride a ROP shop and then run

18:21 over to the attraction or walk over

18:23 bristly was Mickey and min's runaway

18:25 Railway which was early I think it was

18:27 January maybe February 20 20 since then

18:30 and the parks closed reopened they

18:32 started the whole virtual queue thing

18:34 for opening day stuff and it's kind of

18:36 ruined the hype a little bit and the

18:38 excitement of just everyone showing up

18:40 the excitement and the and the and the I

18:43 don't know just the whole hype of it has

18:45 changed quite a bit I mean there's still

18:47 some excitement but it's not the kind of

18:49 excitement that used to exist when you

18:52 could just get to the park 3 or 4 hours

18:54 before the park

18:56 opened and you can just everyone a big

18:59 mob of people would show up and you just

19:02 knew if you got early enough and you

19:03 wanted to wait you could wait now you

19:06 don't even have the opportunity or the

19:08 chance to wait it's just luck of the

19:10 draw and how fast your fingers are with

19:11 booking that virtual queue which kind of

19:14 I don't know it's not the same all right

19:16 so yeah I don't know if I've ever seen

19:18 usually the Big Thunder extended queue

19:21 sometimes they stretch over the bridge

19:22 over there but for one reason or another

19:24 they have it run oh look at this they

19:25 also got the signage up Tiana's Bayou

19:27 Adventure that was

19:29 there's the Critter Co-op over there

19:31 yeah I can see why they didn't want the

19:33 merchandise the Critter Co-op open today

19:35 that would have been a train Rec this is

19:37 pretty awesome the cast member over here

19:39 is actually drawing Princess and the

19:41 Frog characters right here along the gra

20:19 on the ride oh they were there they were

20:20 all in the in the queue and they were

20:22 clapping for the first couple boats that

20:24 that's exciting it was pretty exciting

20:31 940 the boarding groups are really

20:33 slowing down now group 31 now it's kind

20:36 of been at 30 for a while and then they

20:38 B they bumped it up to 31 I mean it's

20:41 I'm definitely going to unless the thing

20:42 breaks down I will be getting on it

20:44 probably before it's a group 31 right

21:28 that I purchased for 8:30 we have a

21:30 magic moment we went to a cast member

21:33 Jose over in frontierland and I said I

21:36 want to give up my lightning Lane for

21:37 later if you could add Jay onto mine and

21:40 what did the guy say he said yes so

21:42 you're riding with me buddy dude thank

21:44 you so much Adam thank you yes I owe you

21:48 R riding uh former spash Mountain's

21:50 better with friends Tiana it's going to

21:52 take a to say Mountain yeah I'm to see

21:54 it I went I'm going with no spoilers so

21:56 me either you haven't seen any spoilers

21:58 nope dude I'm stoked usually magic

22:01 moments don't always work out on opening

22:03 days but I think the fact that I had

22:05 that lightning Lane I think that that

22:08 that uh that helped all right so now it

22:10 is officially a party group 43 we're up

22:12 to Group 33 now I have honestly i' I've

22:16 had other times the opening of Tron and

22:17 other attractions where I've tried to

22:19 like make magic happen and say like oh I

22:21 didn't get a I couldn't get on I have

22:23 someone to add and it never has worked

22:25 out I think really the only only reason

22:27 is because I bought that lightning Lane

22:29 I had that lightning Lane for 8:30 that

22:30 they transferred I think that's the only

22:32 thing that saved us Tiana

22:35 time right here next to the frontier

22:37 land ra almost said radio station

22:40 railroad station so again won't be using

22:44 that lightning Lane obviously the 10

22:47 says 10:2 it's kind of hard to see it

22:49 virtual Q 29 it's actually the glare on

22:52 these yeah the these are definitely very

22:55 glar thing that say virtual crew virtual

22:59 Q group 29 through

23:01 33 I got about 10 more boarding groups

23:04 before we can get into the line train

23:07 going around and that's the proba guess

23:10 probably once we're in the virtual queue

23:12 probably be like a 45 minute way all

38:28 to have a positive reaction by going on

38:30 it but I can't wait to go on it again at

39:26 less animatronics but animatronics are

39:28 10 times better than the old

39:29 animatronics they were state the art

39:31 there's more animatronics in there I

39:40 thumbs up got three I was really

39:43 thinking I was going to have to try to

46:06 some previews and some test days but it

46:09 is officially

46:11 opened I'm not saying it's the greatest

46:14 ride ever and I don't know if it'll ever

46:16 replace my love of

46:18 Splash but I was pleasantly surprised we

46:20 just put that on record I was definitely

46:23 better than I expected it to be
