0:19 welcome everyone today saying
0:19 goodbye to the love
0:22 seat it's so hard to say
0:26 goodbye to the love SE
0:36 continually downsizing that seems to be
0:36 the theme of my life the last couple
0:39 weeks and will continue to be the theme
0:42 for about the next month until I leave
0:44 California departure from California
0:47 will probably be around June 29th June
0:51 30th I have to be completely gone and
0:54 not in my home by July 1st which means I
0:57 have to be out before that so I'm
0:59 thinking around the 29th to 30th of June
1:02 is what I'm going to be leaving speaking
1:03 of downsizing not only is it good to
1:06 clear your mind of personal and you know
1:11 possessions not really personal so much
1:13 cuz I am keeping my sentimental stuff
1:15 but it's good to clear your mind of
1:19 possessions that you do not need I have
1:21 this philosophy now I had it before but
1:23 a lot of that changed once I got a home
1:26 but I've always had this mindset that if
1:29 it's something I don't use let's say
1:31 once a
1:32 month I don't need it unless it is a
1:35 Sentimental a gift or a personal item or
1:38 something from my childhood or a family
1:41 you know knickknack or something like
1:43 that that that is the exception but
1:45 everything else if I don't use it why
1:48 keep it get rid of
1:56 it on the corner of Magnolia and
1:56 Arlington here in
1:57 Riverside and my destination first
2:00 destination is right over there the very
2:02 first the parent Washington naval orange
2:05 tree sits right here and what does that
2:08 mean this means that this was the very
2:11 first Washington naval orange tree in
2:15 California and there is a placard to
2:18 Mark to
2:20 symbolize this tree and there's a couple
2:22 on the ground right there from what I
2:24 read online and when I researched it a
2:26 naval orange tree cannot be transplanted
2:30 and grown from seeds it has to be taken
2:33 the stem of the tree and moved along so
2:37 here's the real question what is the
2:38 difference between a normal orange and a
2:41 naval
2:42 orange H that's a withered naval orange
2:46 it kind of looks like Jack Skellington's
2:49 face that's a withered Jack
2:52 Skellington naval orange right there oh
2:55 I got to hurry I only got 6 seconds to
2:58 cross the road
3:00 I made it there seems to be another
3:01 placard at the base of this tree let's
3:04 see what significance this
3:08 has Chicago white sock redwood tree
3:12 planted February 24th 1914 by members of
3:16 that famous ball
3:18 team Chicago White Socks in Riverside
3:27 California so the
3:27 1914 Chicago White socks planted this
3:32 redwood
3:34 tree
3:40 here I've stopped off in this little
3:40 town by the name of mea Loma and this
3:44 place was not always called Mira Loma
3:48 California it used to be called
3:50 wineville and they changed the name
3:53 years ago to avoid to forget and
3:58 to Aras race from existence as Doc Brown
4:01 would
4:02 say the images and
4:06 the the horror that happened here and
4:09 I'm talking about the chicken Coupe
4:16 murders and when you think of chicken
4:16 coop murders you're thinking well a guy
4:18 probably just killed a bunch of chickens
4:20 well that was not the case in
4:23 1928 a guy that lived here in town had a
4:27 farm and he housed a bunch of chickens
4:30 and chicken CPS next to his
4:32 home and he killed a bunch of
4:35 kids and buried them in the chicken
4:38 coups this became the very controversial
4:44 and a huge story Across the
4:48 Nation back in those days and the city
4:51 had to change their name just giving you
4:53 a little backstory before I drive up the
4:56 road and see the house that Still
4:59 Remains s and still looks the same as I
5:02 walk down this road not only is the
5:05 atmosphere and the feeling very creepy
5:07 and weird knowing that back in the late
5:10 1920s none of these other homes were
5:13 here it was just that one Farmhouse that
5:16 Still Remains and it's right over there
5:19 not the not where the dog is barking but
5:21 farther along there's a lot of animals
5:23 not only those dogs there's horses in
5:24 this area and I heard some chickens back
5:27 there making noise
5:30 I'm getting like a weird vibe right now
5:33 and there it is that's the
5:35 house still remains in
5:44 2016 and it looks almost identical as it
5:44 did in
5:46 1928 you see the dump truck right there
5:48 where that dump truck is to the right
5:51 that's where one of the chicken coops
5:52 were where the children were found
5:55 buried I'm going to get up closer see if
5:57 we can get a better look
6:19 oh my gosh it looks identical to how it
6:19 did in those old photos and the news
6:22 clippings newspaper articles the house
6:26 has not
6:27 changed hardly any trees have grown up
6:30 considerably but over here on the side
6:32 there were chicken coops on this side
6:34 and over on the other side I got to be
6:36 honest I kind of don't even like
6:37 standing in front of that house there
6:38 definitely a weird feeling just knowing
6:42 the stuff that happened there but that's
6:55 it just got to grab something real quick
6:55 for those who've been asking this is my
6:57 Uber code so if you've never tried Uber
6:59 give it a shot and use my Uber code Uber
7:03 awu and get a $15 ride for free now
7:07 you're probably thinking why would you
7:08 drop your van off at the house and then
7:09 take an Uber to Disneyland it's because
7:11 it's very busy at night I just want to
7:13 go get something to eat it's a lot
7:15 easier to take an Uber get dropped off
7:17 on Harbor Boulevard than to park in the
7:18 structure walk through downtown Disney
7:20 it saves a lot of time oh wow bag check
7:24 lines look relatively short that's a
7:26 good thing Disneyland time for dinner
7:30 I always love this topiary Mickey but I
7:33 never
7:34 noticed the diamond right there I don't
7:36 know how many times I've been here I've
7:37 never noticed the diamond at the chin of
7:41 Mickey
7:43 Mouse I feel like a fool for never
7:46 seeing that
8:01 before
8:28 yeah
8:59 all
9:06 SM world is now jammed and the music has
9:06 turned off there is no small world after
9:09 all music playing this is the first time
9:12 I've ever experienced this just sitting
9:16 here in a
9:17 boat not even moving forward actually
9:20 shifting backwards a little bit been
9:22 waiting here for 15 minutes and I guess
9:24 they've turned the song off that way
9:27 everyone doesn't go completely insane
9:30 but there's the
9:32 giraffes there's the hyenas back
9:36 there there's the Tigers it is cool to
9:39 be stuck here cuz this is my favorite
9:40 room The Jungle
9:43 Room I'm stuck
9:45 on Small
9:57 World so weird to hear it without the
9:57 music you just hear all the gear is
9:59 turning and the
10:07 mechanics look at that the hyenas down
10:07 there are still
10:09 laughing still laughing
