welcome everyone and Adam the whoo here
0:04
I have decided starting now through
0:08
continual motion as there's a lot going
0:12
on across the world and here as well and
0:18
try to stay away from people the last
0:20
three or four days I have really started
0:24
to tone down any kind of interaction or
0:27
being around large groups but I'm going
0:30
to step it up a notch and just solitude
0:34
more or less now granted there is
0:36
traffic going by I will you know be in
0:40
the general area of people but keeping
0:42
my distance that means I'll be wandering
0:45
around some areas that are desolate and
0:49
the likes of those types of subject
0:53
matters and east of st. Cloud Florida
0:58
where I will be wandering off this
1:01
closed road back into the woods I have a
1:04
few few places I'm gonna be stopping
1:05
inviting you to join me shall you doing
1:11
what I can and my little part when it
1:14
comes to distancing
1:43
gonna find some relics those trees
1:43
provide some pretty cool ambience
2:28
there are some pamphlets little tourist
2:28
info pamphlets weather-worn
2:38
I'll look at that beam of light shining
2:42
through the window the dust particles
3:19
I believe this was a campground at one
3:19
point in fact you still have the little
3:30
little station here see the remnants
3:30
there in the wood in the woods should
3:34
sigh for power for your RV
4:01
quite a bit has been torn down used to
4:01
be a structure here at one at one point
4:13
right off of a thoroughfare near the
4:13
traffic going by
4:47
as I continued on stopped off for a
4:47
moment at the miracle Chapel
4:52
this place is sat empty and in this
4:55
condition for years and years if not if
4:59
not decades
5:13
for a very short timeframe there was an
5:13
ongoing restoration that was taking
5:16
place but that has not happened in quite
5:18
some time so here it sits
5:44
notice how these cows in the field are
5:44
all abiding by the six-foot way don't
5:47
get too close
5:48
six feet okay you're still six feet
5:53
getting closer yeah
5:58
these cross streets make up Deer Park a
6:01
very very teeny tiny community with not
6:05
a whole heck of a lot left founded to
6:10
provide homes for workers of the logging
6:12
and mill operation consisted of a post
6:15
office two general stores a hotel
6:16
boarding houses churches and two schools
6:21
also the road I'm about to turn upon
6:24
back in 1964 was dedicated to George H
6:29
Comfort he passed away in 1962 and this
6:38
placard sits here in his honor
6:59
check out this one random tree to the
6:59
right there with no leaves no foliage
7:03
just its bark and stems
7:19
enjoying the shade just getting out of
7:19
the Sun I don't blame you it's toasty
7:23
out here
7:38
see you later take care a bunch of
7:38
citrus trees off to the left here
8:25
oh whoa some bigger ones crossing always
8:25
wanted to know why did the chicken cross
8:27
the road but why did the turkey also do
8:30
so we'll never know
8:43
heavy-duty power lines out here power
8:43
lines that most don't see
9:06
if you've always wondered if only
9:09
attractions are where all the alligators
9:13
are congregated that is not true there
9:15
are there's a congregation of them right
9:20
right down there
9:21
over the side of this bridge you usually
9:31
fish from the spot do you usually fish
9:34
from the spot
9:59
I used the fish over on the outside but
9:59
hey all it got so bad over here you
10:02
could keep a fish they come in a kit Oh
10:05
five deadly breezy springtime
10:58
what was that now I don't want I'm
10:58
abiding by the rules on that sign so
10:59
it's no jumping off bridge he got down
11:12
in a a Waller with he's showing us guys
11:15
here's how you get rid of a gator he got
11:18
down right where his head was just above
11:19
the water and we're going straight ups
11:20
and about that alligator got about two
11:22
feet away and he jumped up and jumped up
11:24
out of the water or stuck his hands up
11:26
he said long and make yourself look
11:27
bigger they'll go away once it'd be my
11:31
luck I'd get a four time Gator
11:46
laughs scene that's filled way up there
11:46
would it have water coming out of just
11:51
chatted with a local gentleman
11:59
about this structure which I have never
11:59
seen in operation and there is nothing
12:04
on the opposite side as far as water
12:06
goes you see there's plenty here on this
12:12
side but the other side is just all
12:14
grass and foliage and woods it has been
12:18
rumoured that it was part of the Florida
12:20
canal project that was scrapped many
12:23
many years ago but his philosophy has
12:27
makes more sense for floods during
12:29
hurricanes I would imagine there's
12:34
probably maybe some Gators down in there
12:37
as well
12:51
the occasional vehicle does cruise down
12:51
this road but they are few and far
12:54
between and there are vultures circling
13:40
go on ahead go on ahead
13:40
no rush
13:54
notice how those birds are just hanging
13:58
around the horses they're all friends
14:13
that's gonna do it for today if you're
14:13
new here please subscribe by doing so it
14:15
helps keep you in the loop and up to
14:17
date on future uploads here on this
14:18

14:20
that notification bell and if you
14:23
enjoyed this particular episode and
14:26
