0:27 about the Academy Awards the Oscars and

0:29 they are happening prepare yourself now

0:31 the red carpet is right over here

0:42 through this chain link fence you can

0:45 see where all the action will be

0:49 happening I thought I could maybe sneak

0:52 in and get a closer type of Vlog I was

0:56 wrong I was stopped and thwarted by a

1:00 number of police

1:04 officers hundreds if not thousands of

1:07 security people are out here on the

1:09 property there are countless amount of

1:11 city blocks blocked off but let's take a

1:15 look now at the Red

1:19 Carpet can you see it the red carpet

1:40 that is pretty cool of course the police

1:40 officers they're all getting their

1:42 pictures in front of the red carpet and

1:44 they're starting to remove the tape and

1:46 the plastic that is covering the red

1:48 carpet because in just a handful of

1:51 hours hopefully this is my water

1:54 hopefully I'm not picking up a random

1:55 water that someone else on Hollywood

1:57 Boulevard left trying to stay hydrated

1:59 out here it is still morning time but I

2:01 think around 400 p.m. Pacific Time West

2:05 Coast

2:06 time the Oscar's red carpet will start

2:10 and you can see that they are not

2:12 letting anyone in that does not have the

2:15 proper

2:17 credentials maybe next year someone will

2:19 get a hold of me and say Adam you should

2:22 have proper credentials to document the

2:26 red carpet but that is not actually

2:28 happening today unfortunately but take a

2:31 good look this is where all the magic

2:35 will happen

2:38 tonight pretty cool I've never been this

2:41 close to the red carpet or the Oscars

2:43 and I must confess I am not the most

2:46 gargantuan fan of the Academy Awards or

2:49 the Oscar ceremony I am more of a fan of

2:51 older movies and older history current

2:54 things for some reason do not interest

2:56 me as much as the past and movie pass

3:00 but look at how many police officers are

3:03 out here and in all reality do we really

3:07 need this much space closed for the

3:10 roads here's what I'm thinking here's

3:13 what I am thinking I think tonight all

3:15 the limousines with the celebrities the

3:18 movie stars will be driving down this

3:22 road and they will be dumping off at the

3:25 Red

3:26 Carpet that's what I'm thinking here's

3:29 another interesting look thing too see

3:30 off in the distance the top of that

3:32 church steeple that was actually the

3:34 church that was used as the enchantment

3:36 Under the Sea dance scene and Back to

3:39 the Future that church steeple that's

3:42 behind that palm tree of course Chris

3:45 Rock is hosting the

3:47 Oscars tonight so that's pretty

3:50 cool just want to give you guys a little

3:53 inside tip I keep thinking that there is

3:54 a woman standing over my shoulder but in

3:57 reality it is just it is this this

4:00 mannequin here in front of the world

4:02 famous Mel's Drive-In celebrity bar and

4:06 I really love the murals on Hollywood

4:09 High which is right here a handful of

4:12 celebrities went to this High School

4:15 including

4:17 my I don't want to say my idol but

4:19 definitely one of the people that

4:21 influen me when it comes to Comedy the

4:24 one and only John Ritter you can see

4:27 John Ritter is right there

4:31 festooned on the side of the Hollywood

4:35 High

4:41 building o I got an idea I wonder I

4:41 wonder if I went up to one of the

4:42 security guards or the police officers

4:44 and I said I'm a high school student I'm

4:47 going to class even though today's

4:49 Sunday and there is no class and I look

4:52 nothing like I would be in high school

4:54 maybe I could say I flunked a few grades

4:57 and say I'm trying to get to my class

4:59 trying to get to my class and then sneak

5:01 in and Slither up on to the red carpet

5:06 that that actually that probably will

5:09 not come to fruition today I parked way

5:13 over that way at the start of the

5:15 Hollywood Walk of Fame and they

5:17 re-rooted me all the way around when I

5:21 say thousands of security guards I'm not

5:24 really exaggerating very much on that

5:27 concept look at how many

5:30 police officers are over here look how

5:33 many police officers are

5:36 congregating over there and they're

5:38 staring at me wondering why is look

5:41 they're all staring all of them are

5:44 looking and staring at

5:48 me they're all they're probably going to

5:50 walk over

5:52 here so here's the thing she was saying

5:55 something to me I don't know if she was

5:57 yelling at me for filming or maybe she

6:00 thought I had a question but all of the

6:02 security guards all 30 of them behind

6:05 her car were all looking at me with this

6:09 do not film us perspective and I do not

6:12 know why that is actually the case look

6:15 at all of the vehicles that are actually

6:19 pulling in look at all the vehicles that

6:21 are pulling in down there all of the

6:23 camera equipment all of the trucks

6:27 filled with camera equipment materials

6:31 like cranes and all that kind of crazy

6:34 stuff to make some really cool shots so

6:36 when you watch the Oscars tonight I will

6:39 not be watching but when you are

6:40 watching and you see that red carpet I

6:43 want you to say to yourself Adam was

6:45 there Adam the woo from YouTube's own

6:49 the daily woo was not allowed at the Red

6:51 Carpet but he had a firsthand account of

6:55 the security measures and a firsthand

6:58 account of what it looked like like

7:00 before it all came and culminated into

7:04 tonight's festivities who's even up for

7:08 winning an Oscar tonight I think a lot

7:10 of people are saying Leonardo DiCaprio

7:12 might actually get his very first Oscar

7:14 I don't know what movie for but I think

7:16 of Leonardo decaprio I think of What's

7:18 Eating Gilbert Grape or Romeo and Juliet

7:21 or one of those but look at the amount

7:24 of police officers that are out here and

7:28 I honestly don't even know if I'm

7:29 allowed to even walk in this area but

7:32 they have this whole

7:34 Road completely blocked off we are on

7:37 the corner now of Selma

7:39 Avenue Selma

7:42 Avenue and what road is this this

7:45 actually might be Highland I think the

7:47 corner might be Hollywood and Highland

7:50 perhaps or maybe Hollywood and Vine

7:52 correct me do your Columbo like research

7:54 skills and see if you can actually

7:56 figure out what the crossroads I am on

7:58 look this this is like a scene out of

8:00 chips to use an 80s reference look at

8:03 these motorcycle police officers why are

8:06 they driving around right

8:08 now like what is being protected now

8:12 these guys are definitely getting some

8:13 serious overtime today I don't know

8:15 there is a unmarked car you know what

8:19 I'm going to do I'm going to break some

8:21 rules right now and I'm going to I'm

8:27 tonight in his limo look at this

8:52 like I don't know if he is aged well if

8:54 he's aged poorly I don't know if he's

8:57 overtime he does not look to same as he

9:03 what was that TV sitcom it wasn't

9:04 growing pains he was a there was a TV

9:07 sitcom that Leo was actually in this guy

9:11 he's actually looking at me this guy was

9:20 DiCaprio or maybe he was

9:22 born in August mid August like I was and

9:26 maybe he is maybe he is a Leo here is a

9:30 story that I would like to tell you

9:35 came down this side of the road the

9:37 security guards and the police officers

9:39 that we are about to encounter

9:41 momentarily stopped me from coming in

9:43 this way so they are going to probably

9:46 not be the happiest campers when they

9:48 realize that I am now exiting the area

9:51 that they shunned me from earlier what I

9:54 did is I went down this road which is

9:56 Sunset Boulevard and instead of coming

9:58 down this way where they said not to I

10:00 snuck through some alleys and went

10:03 around to well where the Mel's Diner is

10:07 so these guys do not know what's going

10:09 to happen hopefully hopefully they don't

10:11 notice me hopefully they think I'm like

10:13 Tom Cruz or something of that nature

10:15 hopefully they don't realize that I am

10:17 the one that they actually stopped maybe

10:20 don't say anything don't say anything
