0:04 is it an interesting how a fish is
0:04 promoting a bait shop what does he want
0:08 to be caught just a local fisherman out
0:11 for a pleasure cruise through eel
0:14 infested waters welcome everyone Adam
0:16 though boom here it's my second channel
0:19 daily vlog Channel it's the daily on the
0:29 edge of the water at a place called Sea
0:33 Wolf Park as designated by this old
0:37 dining area / Convention Center meeting
0:42 arena that has fallen on hard times and
0:46 seen better days definitely a very
0:48 interesting design I bet back in its
0:51 prime this place was quite awesome
0:54 but what really fascinates me out here
0:56 at the very end of this fishing pier and
0:59 once I reach the end will be the closest
1:00 possible spot to seeing this unless I
1:04 was on a boat or decided to go for a
1:06 swim I'm talking about this gargantuan
1:12 abandoned sea craft and I know you're
1:16 saying oh no Adam there is another way
1:18 to get close and you are correct the
1:21 majest so I'm gonna take the drone up in
1:24 the air far away from this dock take it
1:28 up and get a bird's-eye view if you will
1:30 of the SS Selma christened in 1919 but
1:36 only lasted about a year as an oil
1:38 freight liner before crashing and
1:41 cracking into a jetty it was towed here
1:46 into the middle of this waterway a very
1:50 good way away from the shore I might add
1:52 so far in fact that you have to be a
1:54 heck of a good swimmer to paddle out
1:57 there to get a better view if you want
1:58 to climb around on that thing
2:00 then you better put your little floaties
2:02 on at least that's what I would use
2:05 originally she was built to be used in
2:07 World War two and after the accident she
2:10 was brought to Galveston to be fixed
2:12 that never came to fruition and now she
2:15 sits here forever I have to say the
2:20 majestic the DJI phantom4 I love this
2:24 thing especially how it handled in the
2:27 heavy winds flying over water for
2:31 probably three quarters to e-baby even a
2:33 mile in distance to get shots of the
2:37 boat that was insane I was kind of
2:39 hesitant about doing it thought maybe I
2:41 would lose it in the water and it pulled
2:43 through the Majestic you never
2:46 disappoint you never disappoint okay I
2:50 take that back
2:51 it has disappointed me but very very
2:53 rarely more undisciplined than
2:56 disappointments that thing for real just
2:58 look how far that is out there this is a
3:01 shot from the shoreline and make sure if
3:03 you're standing here to put away your
3:06 glass containers or the snakes will get
3:08 you what's up fellows camera shy huh
3:14 yeah I get it not too far away on the
3:17 same property is this submarine and I'm
3:21 gonna go inside of that impressive most
3:25 impressive wristbands required beyond
3:28 this point good thing good thing I have
3:31 one there's even a torpedo being
3:34 launched from the front called Al's
3:37 torpedo USS Kavala
3:39 and on her first war patrol she sank an
3:42 IGN aircraft carrier that was used in
3:45 the attack of Pearl Harbor built in 1943
3:49 in commissioned February 1944 311 feet
3:54 long I am now walking along the top deck
3:57 this would all be submerged underwater
4:00 when this thing heads to the deepest
4:04 door and stairwell lead straight down
4:07 into the nether regions of the sub gotta
4:15 wash your head coming down here
4:24 some of the sleeping arrangements here
4:24 on these cots and this is the torpedo
4:30 room
4:37 look at this there they are the
4:37 torpedoes these are the instruments that
4:40 makes everything work
4:43 look at those buttons torpedo ready this
4:47 is where the officers would sit and do
4:49 their planning right here at this table
4:52 and there's the call box over there I'm
4:54 not really sure what this does though so
4:56 this little crank thing do you have to
4:58 turn this while you're talking through
5:01 that to get it to work these are the
5:06 captain's quarters the sink they're the
5:09 bed very humble accommodations looks
5:12 like now we're getting into the nerve
5:14 center the nitty gritty
5:16 the underbelly of this thing what's
5:19 incredible to me is that every one of
5:21 these knobs these turn switches these
5:24 wheels these levers has a purpose this
5:31 ladder would take you up to the bridge
5:32 the periscope and the attack center
5:36 right through there but they have it
5:38 locked with this chain and deadbolt
5:42 let's be honest no one really uses
5:44 periscope anymore this is the kitchen
5:46 and whenever they were ready to eat they
5:48 would prepare the food there and serve
5:51 it here in the mess hall it looks like
5:54 they also had some bad gamin tables and
5:57 checkerboard and chess set up it would
5:59 be an unusual feeling to know that
6:01 you're slumbering many many feet under
6:04 the water this is the engine room you
6:11 got to watch your head me being a tall
6:13 guy it's very easy to crank your skull
6:17 and they'll hold steel beams being in
6:19 here really kind of makes you a
6:20 claustrophobic there's not a lot of room
6:23 to maneuver not a lot of height not a
6:26 lot of width in between the walls and
6:29 the gears
6:31 tight quarters to get very good at
6:33 thinking thin governor controls for all
6:37 main engines you would turn these pull
6:40 these down pretty much through the
6:41 majority of the submarine
6:44 I had to hunch over I had to walk with
6:46 like a little bit of a stoop six foot
6:49 three sitting adjacent is the USS
6:51 Stewart also on land used in World War
6:55 two this ship was fortunate enough not
6:57 to have any casualties on board how
7:01 would you like to have the
7:02 responsibility of sitting way up there
7:06 as the lookout here's where the crew
7:13 slept and ate this is the mess hall the
7:18 toilets are very interesting you can see
7:21 there are three of them side-by-side and
7:24 it goes into a trough and the trough
7:27 spills all the wastes down to the end
7:30 so you're basically sitting right on top
7:33 of somebody else's number two
7:48 there they go
7:48 just two ships passing in the night
7:51 arrow go the day it's a state I'm just
7:55 two ships passing in the day
8:08 what could have been what may have been
8:08 we'll never know just went over a
8:15 drawbridge it was down of course there's
8:19 a very interesting urban legend right up
8:21 here at this Medical School campus there
8:23 was a man a long time ago who owned a
8:25 lot of property he told his family never
8:28 sell my land after he died the family
8:32 disobeyed his orders
8:34 and sold the land anyway this made him
8:37 very unhappy and now it is said that you
8:40 can see him inside the walls of the
8:44 building I'm not making this up even
8:47 more unusual than that those that see it
8:50 say he moves from section to section
8:54 from wall to wall simply given the name
8:58 the face you never know where he's going
9:02 to appear
9:03 I think he's tucked away currently in
9:05 the corner right over in the corner
9:08 there to the left of this pole goodness
9:14 gracious that bird is making a heinous
9:16 sound it's currently in a very difficult
9:18 spot to see but I have one more idea I
9:22 get my drive back in here I can get a
9:24 little bit better view you have to have
9:25 a very good keen eye but it's right
9:28 there look very very closely right here
9:34 that's a face it is a faith who knows
9:39 that the legend really is true who knows
9:41 if that really is the old man's face but
9:44 there is no denying there is something
9:46 on the side of that wall staring at us
9:51 creepy and now it's time for ask I don't
9:58 owe you no longer need a hashtag just
10:01 leave your question on you too
10:03 I'm the way we're gonna question for you
10:05 what you favorite driving album what do
10:08 you put on
10:13 driving that would definitely be a tough
10:13 one because I like a lot of different
10:15 types of music but this is one of my
10:17 favorite cruising albums Bruce
10:20 Springsteen's Nebraska slow down there
10:29 killer do you still play bass you know
10:35 it's honestly been two and a half are
10:35 there gonna be three years in June or
10:36 maybe July that I have not picked up a
10:39 bass guitar or an instrument I do have
10:41 the memories
11:13 hey this is Joe up in Duluth Minnesota
11:13 my question is when are you gonna come
11:15 visit Duluth Minnesota you're free to
11:18 stay at our house right wanna see my
11:21 wife either says yes the simplest answer
11:22 will be when it warms up trying to stay
11:24 south during the winter months I do have
11:27 a lot of friends in Minnesota so you'll
11:29 probably see me up there sooner than
11:31 later just not til I totally spring or
11:34 fall or maybe summer one do you believe
11:37 in ghosts sincerely and two have you
11:39 ever gone to a location be by yourself
11:41 or with a friend or a partner um I just
11:44 completely weirded you out to a point
11:46 where you just like I can get the hell
11:47 out of here I've definitely been to some
11:48 spots that creeped me out probably
11:50 mostly in my mind when it comes to
11:52 basically feeling like there are ghosts
11:54 I don't really know if there are not I
11:56 do know there's a bad boy and a Bigfoot
11:59 but honestly I'm really not sure there
12:01 could be sometimes I feel like there are
12:03 other times I feel like it's just all in
12:05 my head
12:06 I don't know likely know as much as I
12:14 love animals much as I love dogs my
12:16 sister has a few dogs I used to have
12:18 dogs in the past I do not foresee
12:20 anytime in the immediate future having a
12:23 dog running around it would be awesome
12:26 have a little companion but I don't
12:28 foresee that because you never really
12:29 know I never really know what I'm going
12:31 to do tomorrow next week next month
12:35 everything may seem like it is set in
12:37 motion now be never now you never know
12:40 what I'm going to do would you ever
12:41 consider would you ever do filming
12:43 locations for any of the National
12:46 Lampoon movies such as Christmas
12:49 vacation vacation absolutely yes in fact
12:52 I had been for probably about a year to
12:54 compiling and coming up with the ideas
12:57 of hitting all the spots from the
12:58 original vacation movie that is the kind
13:01 of content that would probably go over
13:03 on the atom the woot Channel just
13:04 because that is something that is going
13:06 to end up being mish-mashed together and
13:08 put in a long format video plus all the
13:11 locations are over a multitude of states
13:13 it cannot be done in one day so no
13:17 spoilers but it'll happen
13:20 please make sure to visit me at one of
13:22 my stores
13:33 I won't I won't who's your favorite
13:33 Disney Princess ask him again my
13:42 favorite Disney Princess problems either
13:44 Belle or snow white snow white probably
13:46 wins in that category just by a teeny
13:50 bit but I love both of them and I love
13:52 you too
13:53 thank you for watching have you will you
14:00 be visiting England struggle UK from
14:02 Europe anytime soon I'd like to get out
14:04 of the United States at some point and
14:05 see other countries right now I'm
14:07 focusing on traveling around and Large
14:09 Marge but like I was saying a minute ago
14:11 you never really know what I'm gonna do
14:13 next I don't even know sorry I'm kind of
14:16 sick so I've just been later watching
14:18 out of the wool videos but if you like
14:22 took some pictures in and around signs
14:26 and places you go to visit maybe just
14:29 still frame them and make them black and
14:33 white maybe maybe that's just place I
14:35 get what you're saying it would be cool
14:37 to have a good camera go around take
14:38 pictures a lot of it's just a time
14:39 factor filming every day most of the day
14:43 probably 75% of the day and then editing
14:45 uploading all that it's hard to have
14:48 other hobbies like photography and stuff
14:50 and part of the reason I started doing
14:51 videos to begin with is because I wasn't
14:53 good at photography and there were so
14:56 many people better than I was so I took
14:58 on this video format make sure the
15:00 question and hope you feel better
15:02 keep remember how you talked about your
15:03 father being a preacher what do you
15:06 think about the doctrine of the rapture
15:08 of the church and could it happen this
15:11 year saying even September 23rd of 2017
15:15 what do you think that is a loaded
15:18 question a lot of people have tried to
15:19 pinpoint the exact moment or date that
15:22 the earth is going to come to an end the
15:24 rapture whatever it is that you believe
15:26 in a lot of people have tried to figure
15:27 that out I have no earthly clue but I'll
15:31 tell you this
15:32 there's a good thing that I'm out doing
15:33 what I want to do living life
15:34 experiencing things because you never
15:37 know when it's all gonna end so here's
15:39 my question to you Adam if you could
15:41 take the DeLorean back in time to when
15:44 you first started making YouTube videos
15:46 what would you tell yourself would you
15:49 tell yourself to change anything and if
15:52 so what would you change I would tell
15:54 myself not to get discouraged I would
15:56 tell myself do not listen to the
15:58 naysayers do not listen to those who are
16:01 belittling or negative or those who are
16:04 mocking me for making you know what
16:08 seemed to be dumb videos gallivanting
16:10 around I would tell myself that that
16:13 eventually one day it will pay itself
16:17 off and people are interested there are
16:19 people out there who want to see what I
16:23 am showing and I think that's the
16:26 biggest thing that I would remind myself
16:27 if I could go back and see my former
16:30 self starting youtube it's a good
16:33 question I'll see you guys tomorrow we
16:35 will do more of these in the future love
16:38 you guys
