0:03 today's adventure begins by me feeding
0:03 the meter if you will
0:10 downtown orlando
0:10 and put
0:11 quite a few dollars in this
0:13 and just scoot her around
0:15 show a few things downtown
0:18 that i have recollection of and
0:20 a topic i've never covered before that
0:23 might
0:25 be an interesting one that a lot a lot
0:26 of people might not even know happened
0:29 here in downtown
0:31 orlando welcome everyone adam the woo
0:34 here has the recording of this february
0:36 28th the last day
0:38 of february like there's an r in there
0:40 so february
0:43 28 2022
0:48 having hot caffeinated beverage which is
0:48 kind of lukewarm now i got this on the
0:49 way out of celebration traffic gets a
0:51 little
0:52 backed up in certain areas of i-4 it's
0:54 usually not too bad compared to la but
0:56 today
0:57 must have been some road work or
0:58 something so it took a little while so
0:59 this is no longer piping hot but it is
1:01 still kind of lukewarm blueberry
1:03 flavored also i should mention blueberry
1:06 flavored from this place
1:08 1991
1:10 a certain event happened by a rocker
1:13 punk rocker whatever a
1:16 shock
1:17 artist if you will
1:20 here in town over on church street and
1:23 i'm going to show where that happened at
1:25 club space fish let's hear some other
1:27 stuff too i'm inviting you
1:29 to join me
1:31 shall you now over here
1:34 appears to be an old newspaper stand
1:37 or an atm the only reason i say
1:39 newspaper stand is look at this old
1:42 orlando sentinel
1:44 that's no longer being used here also
1:47 on the subject of music over here used
1:49 to be
1:50 a venue by the name of club firestone
1:53 and dunno 10 12 15 years ago give or
1:56 take i was in a band and we opened up
1:58 for the misfits in there this is before
1:59 danzak rejoined it was just jerry and
2:01 the other guys but still pretty cool
2:04 right inside of there fact i played in
2:05 there quite a few times
2:07 and i like this united trophy
2:10 building across the way here with the
2:11 kind of retro looking architecture never
2:13 noticed that before one thing about the
2:15 courthouse here you'll always see birds
2:18 circling above it there's only one or
2:19 two circling above it now now that i say
2:21 that the birds have gone on the other
2:22 side of the building but this was seen
2:25 pretty often
2:26 by a lot of news news media back when
2:29 the casey anthony trial was happening it
2:32 might be familiar to you if
2:34 you follow that at all
2:39 and a lot of other cases obviously but
2:39 that's what i
2:40 that's what i know it most from
2:43 from keeping up with that case a while
2:44 back
2:46 i am approaching the ace cafe here on
2:48 livingston oh it's bumpy
2:50 that's very bumpy
2:53 but this is the former home of the edge
2:56 used to be the edge concert field next
2:58 to it the edge had a lot of shows in
3:00 fact the line used to stretch through
3:01 here those who are trying to gain a
3:03 mission the first warped tour was right
3:05 here in this parking lot
3:07 i went to the first warp tour that was
3:08 here they had a
3:10 little skate deck out front here so
3:12 bands would play in the shed around back
3:14 and then also in here and then the
3:16 skaters would be right in here i also
3:18 saw green day on the dookie tour right
3:20 here sound garden pantera a bunch of
3:23 other bands but the edge shed is what i
3:25 really remember around the back inside i
3:27 saw a lot of a lot of other bands
3:30 hole was one of them
3:32 mighty mighty boss stones
3:34 all right inside the ace cafe
3:37 i mentioned that before a couple years
3:39 ago but it's been a while since i've
3:40 been back through this property of where
3:42 these tennis courts are is where the
3:43 edge shed was
3:46 oh yeah a lot of memories in there
3:48 i am heading over to club space fish
3:50 though
3:52 but right here was the edge shed
3:54 where this tennis courts are
4:00 naughty by nature played here in 91 i
4:00 won tickets off of xl 106.7 radio
4:03 station and shaquille o'neal before i
4:06 really got into like a lot of the punk
4:07 scene and stuff and i had never won
4:09 anything
4:11 ever so i went to the show it was right
4:13 here where these tennis courts are and
4:15 shaquille o'neal who was a rookie
4:17 for the orlando magic
4:20 went over from the game because the
4:21 stadium was just right across the street
4:23 and he was kind of in the pit slamming
4:25 around and he was about two or three
4:27 feet taller than everyone else he's a
4:28 tall guy so just imagine straight ahead
4:31 there where those palm trees are and the
4:32 other side of those palm trees where the
4:33 new lynx bus station is was the parking
4:35 lot for the edge that's where the stage
4:37 was right there on livingston so all the
4:39 way where those cars are parked on the
4:41 other end of the parking lot now i have
4:42 no personal memories of club space fish
4:46 this event that i'm about to
4:48 talk about happened
4:50 when my family moved here in 1991 i
4:52 didn't really start going to shows and
4:54 stuff till probably nine late 93 94.
4:58 but this is some this is an infamous
5:00 moment in orlando music history
5:03 and i believe the building is still it
5:05 still stands hopefully it still stands
5:07 when i get up here
5:08 gotta go past central then over onto
5:10 church around these parts you never know
5:12 if something's gonna be bulldozed and
5:14 progress is gonna
5:15 rear its head like over here this empty
5:17 lot has recently been torn down but with
5:19 the skyline off in the distance this is
5:22 the amway center
5:25 corner of church street and division
5:27 and in the paramore
5:31 historic district right over there was
5:33 club space fish it still stands
5:36 happy to say i don't know if happy's the
5:38 word but i'm here to say it still stands
5:40 it was november 8th of 91 the only
5:42 florida appearance
5:44 of the one and only
5:46 gigi allen
5:47 a very i don't know if the word
5:49 interesting is the
5:50 word
5:52 yeah
5:53 gigi allen was here in orlando for one
5:56 night only and ended up in jail after
5:58 this now i've always liked the punk rock
6:00 genre even things that are kind of
6:01 shocking or a little overboard
6:04 however i was never into
6:06 what gigi allen stood for or did but i
6:08 don't know if i would have wanted to
6:10 have been at the show that took place
6:12 inside club space fish down here at the
6:15 end at 536 when him and one of his other
6:18 band mates
6:19 slung pooh at the audience
6:22 and ran out of this very door
6:25 completely nude
6:27 naked in the streets
6:29 before being arrested
6:31 and a number of other things but those
6:32 are the two key points and a newscast
6:35 stood across the street and reported on
6:38 it
6:38 right over there easily findable
6:41 online with a quick search can find that
6:43 newscast shepard smith i believe at the
6:46 time worked for channel six who has gone
6:48 on to other things but he was standing
6:50 right over there and it was a live
6:52 newscast
6:53 maybe the following day maybe that same
6:55 evening
6:56 and some of the people that were here
6:58 inside the building came out
7:00 some of the youth and they were kind of
7:02 you know waving at the camera what not
7:04 across the road and this whole area has
7:06 been developed
7:07 quite a bit it's now called the
7:08 nightshade
7:10 lounge
7:12 and that building there was not there as
7:14 well in fact all of these are new
7:16 buildings and i was looking at the flyer
7:18 and it said something about dede ramone
7:21 being in the backing band of gigi
7:24 but i cannot find any confirmation that
7:26 dede ramon
7:28 was here on property that evening
7:32 it was just alan and one of the other
7:34 guys
7:36 in the backing band that ended up
7:39 incarcerated for the evening
7:41 right in this very door 536 church
7:44 street had a pretty unique logo
7:46 look like a fish but as i scroll over
7:49 you'll see
7:50 up here
7:51 says this is as real as it seems
7:59 like nothing else you'll ever encounter
8:00 let's see up here featuring dd ramon i
8:02 can find no confirmation
8:05 about dd being here
8:07 even though i did see the ramones over
8:09 at the edge where i just was i saw them
8:10 back in the 90s which is cool now here's
8:12 one of the most famous photos from that
8:14 evening in fact this is used when you
8:16 just search
8:17 gg in any type which i don't recommend
8:19 doing
8:20 this is one of the photos that pop up
8:21 who knew this happened right inside this
8:23 very door and there used to be this pole
8:26 in here that's been covered up by some
8:27 new brickwork try to visualize if you
8:30 will that pole is probably behind that
8:32 wall that new wall that's been added
8:35 now the newscast kind of had a dance
8:36 group the next day when they were doing
8:38 the newscast talking about it and there
8:40 were some people dancing in here doing
8:41 aerobics
8:43 little did they know and probably most
8:45 people that are in here frequenting this
8:47 place now
8:48 that some poo was being slung around in
8:51 great
8:52 amounts and great ounces of
8:55 dung thrown around through here
9:01 interesting right
9:01 i just think it kind of makes me
9:04 what if you attended the show it was
9:06 featured on news night six local station
9:09 here in town
9:10 that was the next day when they went in
9:12 to do the report but you can see it's
9:13 still the same size of the room and
9:14 everything and the stage was towards the
9:17 kind of where i just had the camera
9:19 pointed all the way towards the back of
9:20 the end and there's shepherd smith
9:22 reporting from across the way i've moved
9:24 across to get the angle used to have an
9:25 awning that said enterprises above it
9:28 but you can see everyone coming out to
9:30 to get on the live broadcast
9:32 so shepard was standing right here
9:35 where my scooter now is
9:37 and club space fish
9:39 you know from the angle of him standing
9:41 there would have been
9:43 right there those two gentlemen are
9:44 standing where i just was on that far
9:45 corner over there
9:51 now to paraphrase or kind of quote
9:51 michelle we must warn what you're gonna
9:53 see in here
9:55 is quite graphic
9:57 but it's true that was that was what he
9:59 said at the beginning of the newscast
10:01 standing right there
10:18 i just wonder if anyone if they even the
10:18 owners even know take the owners now and
10:20 he goes on to say
10:22 you really got to see the newscast he
10:23 goes on to say that club space fish
10:26 prides itself
10:27 on
10:28 things that are the cutting edge
10:31 that is that was their words that he was
10:32 quoting
10:33 and
10:34 people showed up and paid seven dollars
10:36 these are these this is the report with
10:38 the report said
10:39 for someone for a man to defecate into
10:42 his own hand
10:44 wild nude
10:47 this was on the this was on the evening
10:48 news okay now this is interesting i
10:50 peeked in this side of the door still
10:52 part of 536. i was looking in the other
10:55 door a moment ago but i'm noticing when
10:57 looking in this one
10:59 the photos match up a little more
11:01 because there is a wall
11:03 here that's a brick wall that you can
11:05 see in those old photos and videos that
11:07 runs along here but if you look in the
11:09 window there is still a stage way back
11:12 there i'm not seeing the poles that the
11:15 pole could have been where the brick is
11:17 now covering it up over to the side
11:19 there
11:20 let me kind of like zoom in just a
11:21 little bit more
11:30 so that pole could be covered over there
11:30 to the side by that brick
11:32 that could be the photo of the brick you
11:34 see in all the photos of the newscast
11:36 and it could possibly be the same stage
11:39 possibly
11:41 even though it's been repurposed and
11:42 this is his mug shot
11:44 from orlando that night by the way i
11:46 just checked the footage back it's not
11:48 the same stage but it looks like it's in
11:49 that same area and the interview with
11:51 the club owner at the time said he
11:53 relieved himself
11:55 and did it all that was his quote
11:58 and then he went on pretty much to say
12:00 you name it
12:02 he did it
12:03 and after people out here on the road
12:05 they interviewed a few other people
12:07 who saw the commotion him and his band
12:10 mate running out here
12:11 in their birthday suits even though it
12:13 wasn't their birthday
12:15 then the police came in
12:18 went through the door
12:20 and took him to jail
12:21 and from what i've heard
12:23 he was not allowed to come back to
12:24 florida or at least had a warrant out
12:27 because he never showed back up for the
12:29 court case because he went to jail they
12:31 released him and the other band mate
12:33 and never never went back to to go to
12:35 court or anything like that no shock
12:40 i mean he's a shocking guy but there's
12:42 no shock that he didn't show back up for
12:44 his court date
12:47 yeah right here 536 west church street
12:50 what is now the night shade lounge it
12:52 used to be club space fish
12:56 if this was modern day it would be all
12:58 over the internet everyone would be
12:59 outside you know grabbing their phones
13:01 filming it there would be footage
13:03 of the
13:04 naked rampage
13:06 running right down church street and if
13:08 that was modern day
13:10 you would see gigi
13:12 and his
13:14 bandmate going right past this today is
13:17 a good day
13:18 down that very sidewalk
13:20 very rambunctious
13:26 i never did see gg in concert i don't
13:26 know if i would have wanted to probably
13:28 looking back
13:30 i maybe stand in the very very back
13:32 corner behind
13:33 a shield of some sort
13:35 he was really notorious
13:38 and not really
13:39 not really a great guy usually around
13:41 the back of a venue is where bands will
13:43 load their equipment in they probably
13:45 had their van parked back here where my
13:47 scooter is and this is looking around
13:49 the back of the property they're loading
13:51 the equipment and drums and guitar amps
13:53 and stuff like that through that back
13:55 door so the stage would have been
13:58 right back here
14:05 there were other things too you know
14:05 other body functions
14:08 urine and thing yeah that's that's yeah
14:12 what a moment in orlando history right
14:14 look at this building next to it with
14:16 the interesting blocks
14:21 that's pretty cool it's also interesting
14:22 that this happened on church street
14:25 because there was no church happening
14:27 inside this building
14:30 his church whatever his mentality of
14:33 worship was
14:39 and it's just adjacent to where the
14:39 orlando magic
14:41 play their games
14:42 the amway arena
14:45 it used to be a place called the arena
14:47 which was the orlando magic arena
14:50 nickname come on not nickname but called
14:52 the arena a couple blocks away closer to
14:54 the edge shed and all that i was
14:56 mentioning
15:01 right now it's the amway center a lot of
15:01 progress happening around these parts of
15:04 course when you think of church street
15:06 you can't help but mention the touristy
15:08 area of church street which is about a
15:09 block away from where i just was over
15:12 there is a alligator
15:14 inside of a swan boat with an umbrella
15:17 painted on the side of that mural
15:21 also before i moved to celebration
15:23 i thought about moving into this
15:24 building right here i think it's called
15:25 55 west
15:27 i didn't really like it
15:30 i mean i liked it but i just did i
15:31 didn't want to be right downtown at
15:33 least at that point in my life
15:36 but i did look at an apartment in there
15:39 happened i'm going to attempt to go
15:40 through here
15:42 on the brick
15:48 yeah getting some dragon sound vibes
15:49 getting some serious dragon sound vibes
15:52 if you've ever
15:53 you know that movie
15:55 i covered it before but yeah
15:57 some good scenes happen right through
15:59 here
16:00 i covered that extensively before but
16:01 that reminds me up through here and this
16:04 place really is not in its prime of what
16:07 it once was
16:08 back in the 90s this place was a beehive
16:11 of activity i'm sure at night it gets
16:13 pretty busy
16:14 but this place was a mecca of tourism
16:16 one of the most highly promoted places
16:19 in orlando
16:21 on par with anything you would think of
16:22 today tourism wise this is how this
16:25 place was
16:27 every little visitor center you'd go to
16:29 would promote church street station it's
16:30 not really to that extent anymore
16:33 i mean it's still people come down here
16:35 on the weekends and evenings but not
16:36 like it was there was also a venue up
16:38 here called back booth
16:41 oh
16:42 that's bumpy the back booth was right
16:44 over here
16:56 yeah back booth was located right here i
16:56 played a lot of shows in there
16:58 as well when i was in
17:00 bands and whatnot
17:01 across the road there's a bunch of steam
17:03 going out of those pipes
17:15 it is now
17:15 a place called cocktails and screams
17:24 there's me right there how's it going
17:24 looks like someone has smeared something
17:26 on there too hopefully that's not the
17:28 work of
17:29 a gigi allen impersonator which
17:31 interesting fact there was a gigi allen
17:34 impersonator in orlando that also was
17:37 arrested
17:38 a few years ago yeah it just
17:41 the tradition continues but over here
17:44 abandoned hope all ye who enter and
17:47 these are not the doors you're looking
17:49 for but they are the doors i'm looking
17:50 for because this is where back booth
17:53 was
17:54 you would load in
17:56 from the back even if i loaded it around
17:57 the back or around the front it's been
17:59 so long though but right through here
18:01 the bar is off to the side and the stage
18:03 was kind of like that way maybe like 20
18:05 feet merchandise would be over here
18:07 through those doors
18:10 good times and of course this is where
18:11 harmony star was running
18:13 trying to get away from her restaurant
18:15 bill that she wasn't going to pay for
18:16 and ernest saves christmas
18:18 right along here goes to this very
18:20 corner and then jim varney in the cab he
18:23 was a
18:24 he was a cabbie
18:25 was riding right over through here and
18:27 he saw her and picked her up around this
18:28 corner
18:29 and here is wall street plaza where a
18:32 lot of the outdoor events that took
18:34 place
18:35 my friends are super villains which
18:37 played a lot of shows with them back in
18:38 the day
18:39 but always perform here for street
18:40 festivals and whatnot
18:42 and across the way
18:44 used to be downtown jasmine blues club
18:46 the social sapphire supper club i think
18:48 it's called the social now
18:50 but i went to quite a few concerts over
18:52 there and there used to be
18:54 right where this awning is you see right
18:55 there used to be a subway and i used to
18:57 go in there and get a sub
18:59 at that subway before or after shows
19:01 yeah i'm having flashbacks i'm getting
19:04 myself a
19:05 meal from that subway
19:07 well there must be an apartment there
19:08 there's people out on the little balcony
19:10 above where the subway doors used to be
19:12 and something's going on this evening
19:14 there's even a line
19:15 in front of the social
19:17 at the beach something's going on
19:19 tonight still kind of early though
19:21 people already lined up
19:22 getting a little peek inside
19:26 getting the pecans
19:28 there's some guy yelling at everyone
19:30 waiting in line across the street
19:35 so you got everyone hanging out over
19:36 here but then there's
19:38 a couple guys kind of
19:40 yelling across the street almost like
19:42 very cliche yelling and
19:44 saying obscene things
20:02 at one point 64 north was called
20:02 barbecue bar
20:05 and then barbarella was what it was
20:06 called way back in the day but then it
20:09 would change their name to something
20:10 else
20:11 for like a decade or two
20:13 and then recently became barbarella
20:15 again it's good to see this called
20:17 barbarella again
20:20 however i was hearing a rumor that maybe
20:22 it wasn't going to be barbarella anymore
20:24 i don't know just let you always hear
20:25 hearsay
20:26 and whatnot i saw the toasters and
20:28 murphy's law in here
20:29 back in the day pretty crazy show
20:32 i mentioned that before i did i've i
20:34 haven't dove into the obviously the
20:36 slinging of the poo story
20:39 but i have talked about the toasters
20:40 murphy's law that was inside of here
20:44 good times and this place i have
20:46 frequented on many occasions planet
20:48 pizza
20:49 in fact if i lived down if i lived
20:51 downtown if i had moved downtown
20:54 which i'm glad i didn't but if i did i
20:56 would probably be over with this planet
20:57 pizza on a pretty regular basis so
20:58 pretty awesome looking artwork and
21:00 murals downtown here
21:02 kind of going along this area
21:04 and there's a courtyard over here where
21:07 years ago probably still there
21:09 there was a guy in his alligator or
21:11 maybe a guy wrestling an alligator it's
21:13 been a while this is also the library
21:17 yeah that's their library i said that
21:19 thinking i knew what it was but now i
21:20 see it on the side is the library
21:22 that is pretty cool architecture oh i
21:25 can see the alligator and handler from
21:30 like someone's taking a nap over here
21:32 too
21:33 on their cell phone enjoying the day
21:39 right there
21:39 still here
21:41 a lot of gators around these parts in
21:42 fact this one is being wrestled
21:46 by a gentleman this one over here does
21:49 not have
21:50 anyone on its back
21:53 this one does
21:55 how you doing
21:56 buddy feeling good
22:10 at least for me it is i've seen it a
22:10 bunch of times with the city bus going
22:12 by very quickly
22:14 interesting story here back in 2005 at
22:17 the stagger inn
22:20 band i was in at that time had a show
22:21 booked at back booth and it ended up not
22:24 happening either the promoter didn't
22:26 want to happen or the sound guy didn't
22:28 show up something
22:29 so i walked around to a few different
22:31 places
22:32 which are a couple of different
22:33 establishments and bars
22:35 ended up at the stagger and said hey we
22:37 got a few bands that would like to play
22:39 a show do you have a pa said yeah we
22:41 have a pa
22:42 so we ended up booking the show
22:44 impromptly in there
22:46 told the few people that were in line
22:47 over here at the back booth to come over
22:49 here we had a makeshift
22:52 show inside the stagger in and fun fact
22:54 i mentioned that it was the last time
22:56 that i
22:58 recall really drinking alcohol
23:01 right inside the stagger and there's one
23:03 or two other ties but this is the main
23:04 time and that would have been in 2005 i
23:06 remember after the show was over i
23:08 thought you know what it's just this
23:09 isn't really me i'm not really a drinker
23:11 i'm not going to drink anymore and about
23:13 a year later i was at a party at my
23:15 friend's house
23:16 and had two smeared off ices that's
23:19 that's the kind of drinker i was i
23:20 didn't really like beer too much how
23:23 kind of the fruity drinks but i did a
23:25 year later drink
23:27 drink two just to see would i like it
23:29 would i would i enjoy it and i decided i
23:32 wouldn't and then since then let's i
23:34 think maybe six months ago i was at
23:36 epcot i was with a friend who drinks
23:38 and she was like you should just try i
23:39 took a sip i took one sip of her
23:42 beverage and i said yeah i don't really
23:43 like i don't like the feel of alcohol
23:45 it's just not for me i know some people
23:47 like it
23:48 nothing against that but it's just not
23:49 it's not really my thing and i do get
23:51 asked a lot why i don't and honestly
23:53 it's just i don't know just for me
23:55 it just seems natural to not
23:58 it seems
23:59 unnatural for me personally
24:02 to not to be non-sober it just feels
24:05 more natural for me to be sober that's
24:07 just me and that goes for everything
24:08 else not just not just booze but other
24:10 with the skyline off in the distance
24:12 these seats are in front of the walt
24:15 disney name for walt disney amphitheater
24:19 right here on lake eola
24:21 and this bird hello bird i don't want to
24:23 get too close bird
24:25 i don't want to get too close but i do
24:26 want to show
24:28 that fountain over there this majestic
24:31 fountain that is off in the distance
24:39 there it is the bird's going by birds
24:39 going off flying off didn't mean to
24:41 disturb you bird
24:46 the seagulls this isn't the seagulls
24:46 this is just a lake
24:48 the seagulls are perched over there they
24:49 are not scurrying off
24:56 majestic
24:56 fountain
25:00 also i'm noticing
25:00 the swan boats that are usually rented
25:02 out over there are not at the moment
25:04 being rented out
25:05 maybe that business has pulled out of
25:07 the lake eola area the downtown area
25:11 i did those years ago
25:13 i was thinking about redoing them again
25:15 maybe going out on the swat boats but
25:16 that's not going to happen because
25:17 they're not there there's also a fire
25:18 truck going by
25:20 there's some real swans but no swan
25:21 boats
25:22 that's what that dock was there is a
25:24 place for a long time i've tried to
25:26 figure out exactly what the name of it
25:28 was or where it was on the corner of
25:30 magnolia and robinson street
25:33 but over here one of these very unique
25:35 older buildings
25:37 used to be a cd store it's only there
25:39 for a short time this would have been in
25:41 94.
25:42 bought a few cds there in fact it was
25:44 one of the few places that you could get
25:45 bootleg so in green day dookie came out
25:48 got very popular
25:50 a friend i had at the time me and him
25:52 came up here and got the the bootleg
25:53 from woodstock on cd this is way before
25:56 youtube where you could just look all
25:57 that stuff up or download it on any
26:00 sharing programs
26:01 but it was located over here on north
26:04 magnolia ave
26:06 at one of those buildings and i've
26:08 racked my brain for a long time to
26:09 figure out what the name of it was
26:11 but to know what to know uh i'm gonna
26:13 say a veil because i went to see a veil
26:14 last night but to no avail didn't mean
26:16 to make a pot oh there's a cactus here
26:18 and chef wants to give me a fist bump
26:21 but i have a camera in one hand chef
26:25 hand on the other one
26:27 couldn't do it a lot of another link
26:29 spots going by
26:31 a lot of construction here on the corner
26:33 of livingston going on
26:35 a lot of
26:36 construction i got the walk side
26:40 now i'm gonna go through the little
26:42 front atrium area of the courthouse i
26:44 went by i parked down this way so go
26:46 back to my car oh yeah
26:49 you know in all the years i've been
26:50 around this region
26:52 i've never been up in the front here
26:55 i've always just see it from the street
26:56 view
26:58 there it is the orange county courthouse
27:01 what if there was a fountain right there
27:02 where those shrubs are now
27:04 i'm gonna guess there probably was a
27:05 fountain there
27:07 at one point all these buildings are new
27:11 all these buildings are new through here
27:13 not the courthouse but that's what i'm
27:14 pointing at made it over to mills ave
27:16 now
27:18 and i truth be told i have thought
27:20 recently
27:22 about starting another band or joining
27:24 one of my previous bands or
27:27 you know doing something like that
27:28 whether it be a reunion of a former band
27:31 i was in or starting something new
27:33 putting something a new project together
27:35 doing a one-off show or even just
27:37 thinking out loud possibly doing a tour
27:40 if i did something like that it would
27:41 definitely be some
27:43 some certain ways i would want to do
27:44 things play smaller places
27:46 not really charge
27:48 for said things if it was it would be
27:51 very low door fee or anything or no no
27:53 door fee at all i would just want to do
27:55 it just out of the fun
27:57 the fun of what it would be but i'm
27:59 bringing that up because the kind of
28:00 place i would like to play if this is a
28:02 big if nothing in the works
28:05 at all
28:06 but if it ever happened down the road a
28:08 year from now two years from now
28:10 a week from now it's not gonna happen a
28:12 week from now because i have just this
28:13 is the first time i've even mentioned it
28:15 i really thought about it heavily but i
28:16 would want to play at a place like this
28:18 uncle lou's
28:20 music bar which is this teeny tiny
28:23 place this is the kind of place i would
28:24 want
28:25 i want to play it i'd want to do it in
28:27 sort of an impulsive
28:29 kind of way where
28:31 i mean obviously it'd be promoted to
28:32 some degree but i wouldn't want it to be
28:36 i wouldn't want it to be a whole thing
28:39 maybe it would be a whole thing
28:42 as stated i probably should have thought
28:43 this through before i just started
28:45 kind of rambling on about it
28:48 these are the kind of place these are
28:49 the kind of places i miss
28:51 just little like dive bars like this
28:53 can't even see inside there yeah it's
28:54 all i can't even see in there
28:57 but they are open
28:58 this place is only just a little
29:00 one-room establishment
29:02 that's the kind of thing i want to do
29:04 just show up
29:06 places without a stage would even be
29:08 better
29:09 you know
29:13 i don't know if that day i'll ever
29:13 happen but i wanted to give uncle luz
29:15 here a little shout out because this
29:17 place is a staple i hope it's still open
29:20 is it still open maybe later tonight i
29:21 don't know
29:23 seen a lot of shows here a lot of my
29:25 friends bands have played here it's
29:26 right here on mills ave
29:28 but yeah just to put it out there i have
29:30 thought about doing music again at some
29:31 point one maybe one day i bought a bass
29:33 guitar about a year ago
29:36 give or take about a year ago i haven't
29:38 really even touched it but i haven't
29:39 been in a band in about nine years
29:41 2013 i believe was the last time i was
29:44 on stage with a band i played in a band
29:45 gutter mouth from southern california
29:46 for a couple of years before that it was
29:48 in a few other bands around the central
29:50 florida area one other thing when it
29:51 pertains to that subject matter what if
29:54 i started a band
29:56 and everything all the show was free
29:58 everything was free
30:00 the t-shirts were free the merchandise
30:02 was free
30:03 everything was free i just i'm at the
30:05 point in my life where i just
30:08 i just want to do stuff not about the
30:10 money
30:12 i don't know if i'd ever be able to find
30:13 other band mates that would agree with
30:15 me on that
30:16 but that's what i would that's what
30:17 maybe
30:18 maybe they can be paid
30:21 from another source i don't know that
30:22 would have that's a
30:24 that would be a very difficult conundrum
30:26 because i don't know if everyone else
30:27 would have the same thought process as i
30:29 do
30:29 but i just
30:31 think it would be neat to play you know
30:32 impulsively like the night before maybe
30:35 like one day before go a place like this
30:37 we're not playing here because we
30:38 haven't started i haven't started
30:39 anything yet
30:41 but if i was the night before maybe that
30:42 morning say hey this place tonight 8 p.m
30:47 something like that would be neat free
30:49 or
30:50 just show up start playing have the
30:52 opening bands before then start posting
30:56 on social media and just see who's in
30:57 the area
30:59 show up and do a tour like that
31:02 almost like a mystery use your columbo
31:04 like research skills
31:06 all this is completely unbased on any
31:08 any sort of factual thought process that
31:10 i'm having
31:11 it's probably ever going to happen
31:13 and that's going to do it for today
31:16 doing the outro looking at the clouds
31:25 no real rhyme or reason
31:25 for looking at the clouds
31:28 but i am looking at the clouds
31:39 i'll see you in the next video the vlog
31:39 wait is someone just throw something
31:40 what is that
31:43 is that pooh
31:46 oh it's not woo that was a close one the
31:49 vlog
