0:12 Hollywood Beverly Hills LA tour van.

0:17 Basically, these vans that have they

0:20 dismantle the top portion so when you're

0:22 sitting it's open air. And I try to

0:24 choose a different one. Today I'm going

0:26 to choose one I've never taken before

0:28 and just see what happens. Now

0:30 disclaimer, I am not going to chime in

0:32 with any facts. I am just going to show

0:35 what the guide says. Sometimes it's

0:37 true, sometimes it is, sometimes it

0:39 isn't. See what happens. I'm inviting

0:41 you. It's always an experience to join

0:44 me. A Hollywood

0:46 tour, shall you? And I think today I

0:49 might choose this one.

0:50 Hollywood bus tours. Looks like there's

0:53 a driver there. You getting ready to

0:55 roll out?

0:59 yeah. I'm picking people up on a break.

1:02 Okay. I'll make shrimp down the street.

1:15 over here? We leave out of the beach, my

1:17 friend. Oh, you leave out the beach? We

1:18 do a 2 and a half hour tour out of the I

1:21 go to the beach. Well, no, that's the

1:22 beach tour. Oh. So, how do I get in? How

1:25 do I get in here? Home tour

1:28 right over here out of the blue

1:29 umbrella. So, I go over here to sign up

1:31 for this. Check us check us out, man.

2:06 here. So interesting. There's no one at

2:09 this booth. I was thinking that maybe I

2:10 just go over here, pay some money, and

2:12 drop. I don't know what he was waiting

2:14 on, but yeah. Here it is. Hollywood Bus

2:17 Tours, the number one sightseeing

2:20 experience in LA. Spot celebrities,

2:22 cruise by their home, see the hot spots,

2:24 and hidden gems. Right outside the

2:27 Hollywood Visitor

2:34 Center. Okay, that's interesting that he

2:34 leaves out of the beach. I'm going to go

2:36 in here and acquire. All right, turns

2:37 out there are a couple different tours.

2:39 Gentleman I was talking to a moment ago

2:42 was leaving from the beach. That is a

2:44 little lengthier tour that starts at the

2:45 beach then comes over here and shows the

2:47 same spots that's on the secondary tour

2:50 which is a 2hour tour a 2hour tour

2:54 Hollywood and Celebrity Homes tour. It

2:56 was $49. They said if I paid in cash

2:59 it'd be 45 say $4 but went ahead and

3:03 threw it on the card and this is it.

3:05 Might check out the Hollywood Hills in

3:07 LA. Most popular sightseeing tour. Keep

3:10 your camera ready. You might spot a

3:12 celebrity or two on this tour. Stops

3:14 include 15 minutes of Beverly Hills sign

3:16 for pictures and a restroom

3:18 break. Hollywood Mahal and Drive,

3:20 Hollywood sign, Beverly Hills, Rodeo

3:21 Drive, West Hollywood Sunset Show,

3:22 filming locations and celebrity homes.

3:25 If I would have brought someone else

3:26 with me, I could have saved $10 on this

3:28 one. My tour is going to leave at 1:00.

3:30 It's 12:31 right now. So, I got I got a

3:33 few moments just to wait out front,

3:36 stroll around. I think it's kind of

3:38 nice. The Hollywood Visitor Center that

3:39 does the Hollywood bus tours, they have

3:41 a restroom that you can use inside. A

3:43 lot of places in Hollywood do not have

3:45 facilities. So, right here next to

3:47 Discount Souvenirs, which some classic

3:50 Hollywood icons right up there.

3:52 Maryland, Chaplain, James Dean, John

3:55 Wayne. All right, going to stroll around

3:57 until till my van arrives. Right here in

4:00 front of Ethel Merman Star. My van has

4:04 pulled

4:05 up. Hollywood bus

4:07 tours. See, there's three of them.

4:09 There's the one over there. There's this

4:12 one. And then there's another one. So,

4:16 they got a whole thing going on here

4:19 right here on the

4:20 corner. Sycamore and Hollywood

4:22 Boulevard. Sycamore and Hollywood. Right

4:24 on the

4:25 corner. Location at churches uh for

4:28 movies like uh Sister Act with Whoopi

4:30 Goldberg. also Back to the Future. So,

4:33 the Enchantment Under the Sea dance for

4:35 Back to the Future was actually filmed

4:37 inside that church. Uh there's a gym

4:39 that's part of it. So, in the movie, it

4:41 was supposed to be Hill Valley High

4:42 School, but filmed inside Hollywood

4:44 United Methodist Church. Yeah. And then

4:46 the band Fish for um uh April 25th, 26,

4:50 27. So, those will be the next three

4:52 concerts here at the Hollywood Bowl,

4:54 which you'll Yeah, you're about to see

4:55 the marquee now officially. So yeah, as

4:57 I me if I didn't already mention the

4:59 fact that the mole itself a little up

5:01 the street, but here's that entrance to

5:03 the world famous Hollywood Bowl

5:05 fireworks on Fridays a lot of the times

5:07 in the summer at this place here. Yeah,

5:09 Neil Young going to he he actually

5:11 canceled a bunch of tour dates. So now

5:13 and one of them was here at the

5:14 Hollywood, which I would have mentioned

5:15 ear or should have mentioned as we drove

5:18 by. Anyway, this is the 101 freeway on

5:20 our right. This is a major freeway in LA

5:23 that starts in downtown, goes all the

5:24 way to San Francisco. Universal Studios,

5:28 uh, and Warner Brothers have exits a

5:30 little further up here to the right. And

5:32 if we were to get on the 101, driving in

5:34 this direction for about a 45minut drive

5:36 with no traffic would take us over to

5:39 the Hidden Hills Calabasas area that a

5:41 lot of people know about. Some

5:43 celebrities live in the gated

5:44 neighborhoods in Calabasas. Uh,

5:46 Kardashians filmed their TV show there.

5:48 I drive too. There's like new rules that

5:50 they've been enforcing where it says

5:51 like no stopping anytime tour buses. It

5:54 says no stopping anytime, but they

5:55 they're really enforcing the tour buses.

5:57 So, we won't pull over. Uh but we have

5:59 views to see. So, I'm going to do my

6:00 best to slow down whenever I possibly

6:02 can. Uh sometimes it's going to go a

6:04 little faster than I would like. So,

6:05 when that happens, if and when that

6:07 happens, which more like if, uh, I

6:09 apologize in advance, but up to um, uh,

6:12 where I'll try to lose this car so that

6:14 way I can just hopefully slow down just

6:15 a little bit more cuz yeah, this is the

6:17 area where the cops hype on motorcycles,

6:19 too. So, it gets a little tricky. A

6:21 little on the stressful side uh, while

6:23 trying to give a tour. $300 tickets,

6:26 too. I don't know if I gave the amount.

6:27 Dating Travis Kelsey from the Kansas

6:29 City Chiefs. Yeah, you heard about that,

6:30 right? Me and Taylor Swift. It didn't

6:32 work out. Now I'm part of a group text

6:34 with all of our other ex-boyfriends. So

6:36 I'll tell you more about that when we

6:37 get into Beverly Hills later. I'm going

6:39 to use this biker to kind of slow down

6:40 because Oh shoot. Now we got a Porsche.

6:42 Yeah, that's our that's our a bit of a

6:44 situation we have. We have the biker and

6:45 then a Porsche and behind us. Uh so

6:47 that's not cool. I wish the Porsche

6:49 wasn't there cuz the reason why I

6:50 brought up this quick look. This

6:51 deserves way better, but take a look.

6:52 One more caught. Normally I bring it up,

6:54 but here's one more look. And that

6:57 deserves way better than that, but under

6:59 the current circumstances with the Cuban

7:01 movement thing, it's Yeah. uh which is

7:03 um popular for locals, you know,

7:05 tourists and celebrities sometimes. We

7:08 saw William H. Macy walking his dog

7:10 there one time on the tour, but not on

7:12 the tour. When I was hiking in there

7:14 before, I saw Jeff Goldblum in there

7:16 before. I saw

7:18 um who else? Oh, uh Kevin Bacon. It's a

7:22 cool looking round glass house.

7:24 And

7:31 uh and then and then there's a um after

7:31 you know Danny Glover and Joe Peshi come

7:34 running out of the house. There's a car

7:35 chase that goes down Mahal and drives

7:36 but that's this house right here. So a

7:38 little bit tough to see but kind of see

7:39 the top there. See? But the bad guys

7:41 house lethal weapon part two. Yeah. Not

7:44 only is Oh, at least that one

7:45 walkthrough gate was open there. Let me

7:46 just kill this just for a moment.

8:02 Yeah, there might even be like a lawsuit

8:02 still like that the guy was like suing

8:04 tour companies or something. I don't

8:16 know. Driving the house that they took

8:16 over was on the other side of this

8:17 fencing that they actually just put up

8:19 recently. Uh which now there's a sec one

8:21 of these guys right here that we're

8:22 passing by with this truck is yeah the

8:24 guy with the white shirt. He's the

8:26 security guard there that they have uh

8:28 all day long uh to make sure that the

8:30 squatters don't come back right

8:32 there. Yeah. So again that one

8:35 definitely uh wish there was a spot to

8:36 pull over. Oh, this motorcycle is going

8:38 to go quick

8:45 anyway. And that guy stealing my moves.

8:45 I'm usually the one that drives that

8:46 fast. So I'm going haul and drive on my

8:47 motorcycle. Just joking. All right. So,

8:49 the next opening, look for a blue

8:51 building with a minion on it in, you

8:53 know, just down

8:54 below. Look at the Universal Warner

8:57 Brothers area down

9:04 below. Uh-oh. And looks like that car

9:04 wants to go, too. I'm like, man, are we

9:06 on the celebrity gate tour or

9:08 what? I mean, uh, we'll see a couple

9:11 pretty impressive gates. We'll give them

9:12 that, but still. Anyway, uh Bruno Mars

9:15 used to live Mars, which I'm going to

9:17 slow down as best I can because if the

9:18 gates open, you'll get a better look at

9:20 the house. This is it right here. This

9:21 is the former house of Bruno Mars. The

9:22 gate was open earlier. It's not right

9:24 now. Darn it.

9:26 But this one, when I mention if I didn't

9:28 Yeah, I think I touched on the fact that

9:29 there's a this the former Bruno Mars

9:32 house is listed for sale right now for

9:34 4.7 million. So, that's the one where we

9:37 can go, okay, what's 4.7 million divided

9:39 by 9? Easy. We're totally buying the

9:41 former house to Verno Bar. They pulled

9:43 down. Remember when Michael pulls a

9:44 house down when he found out that that

9:46 that his wife was hanging out with the

9:47 tennis instructor? Yeah. So, like I'll

9:49 show you that and see if you think that

9:50 that looks like it could be a real life

9:51 version of that house. And then

9:53 Michael's house from DT like the the

9:55 house that they say is Michael's real

9:56 life house too. I'll show you that.

9:58 when we saw that opening for um just

10:02 that that one more quick opening of

10:03 downtown LA just before that there was a

10:06 street that if you turned up that's like

10:07 the real life version of Franklin's

10:09 house location you know but they put a

10:11 gate there recently now here on the so

10:13 yeah I've driven up it before but um

10:16 it's just like there's a big gate there

10:17 now that doesn't make it easy oh

10:19 hello now the uh this all these houses

10:23 on the side of the hill on our right

10:24 there are part of a gated neighborhood

10:27 that and they all have Beverly Hills

10:28 addresses. It's called the Summit cuz

10:30 Beverly Hills comes just over Maholland.

10:32 Now, of all these houses in the Summit,

10:34 there's one house specifically I'll

10:36 point out, which is the one direct the

10:37 one closest to us on our right, that

10:39 white one. Uh the reason why I'll

10:41 mention about that one, and we got a

10:42 couple more views of that as we get a

10:44 couple more openings. One more. Yeah. As

10:45 we get around this corner. But two

10:47 celebrities have owned and lived in that

10:48 house at two different times. The first

10:50 name I'll mention, JLo, Jennifer Lopez.

10:52 She bought the house in two uh in uh

10:55 2003 for 4.3 million and then she sold

11:00 it and it was Gwen Stefan's house at one

11:02 time too cuz Gwen Stefani bought it from

11:04 JLo for uh in 2011 for 13.5 million.

11:09 When Gwen Stefani sold that house, it

11:12 was in uh 2019 for just over 21.5

11:15 million. So that's the last time that

11:17 house sold. And then the like that's I

11:20 think that's the most expensive house to

11:21 sell in that to ever sell in the summit

11:23 that I know of because the properties

11:25 range anywhere between three million and

11:27 to the

11:29 21.5. And I was kind of mentioning to I

11:32 don't know who else heard but we were

11:33 kind of talking about the like the

11:35 things like sometimes videos that went

11:36 viral. There was a tour van uh that um

11:40 you know the guy miss you know thought

11:41 that thought that Roblo was John Stamos.

11:45 So that kind of was like, you know,

11:47 people making fun of him about that. The

11:48 reason why I brought that up is John

11:49 Stamos's royal house is actually just up

11:51 this street, but it's a gated Well, the

11:53 gate's open right now, I guess. But then

11:55 after that, um, which I'll point out

11:57 when we officially get right

11:59 there, but we're going to be turning

12:01 down a side street here pretty soon

12:03 called Heather Road, and we're going to

12:04 check out where two celebrities have

12:06 houses on the same street. Now, the

12:08 first name I'm going to mention, it's

12:10 her primary residence. So, we're going

12:11 to see a security guard sitting at at

12:13 the very minimal. security guard sitting

12:15 in a car out front. When we pass by the

12:17 singer, oops, where did my sound effect

12:19 go? Uh, we passed by the singer, Rihanna

12:21 Xan Street. So, when we drive up it,

12:23 we'll just drive back down the same way.

12:25 See if we can get an opening to make a

12:27 turn here.

12:35 Oops. I'm not even sure who lives in

12:35 these in this estate here, but it's such

12:36 a big estate. But when we see the

12:38 entrance to Paul McCartney's up here on

12:39 the right first the address 9536 Heather

12:42 Road, uh you'll see how the driveway

12:44 curves around. So it's not so much a

12:46 long and winding road, more like a short

12:48 and winding road. So his Beverly Hills

12:50 house, yeah, sits in behind this estate.

12:51 So he's got some serious privacy. So

12:53 yeah, see how this BMW the way it's

12:55 parked right here. It just just if

12:56 there's somebody in it, I'm pretty sure

12:58 Paul McCartney might actually be here

13:00 because yeah, normally that car would

13:01 not be parked by the fact that he has

13:03 car. So yeah, this is the entrance to

13:04 Paul McCartney's Beverly Hills house

13:05 right here on the right, which we'll see

13:07 on the left on the way back down. But

13:08 Rihanna's security guard is right here

13:10 in front of us on the right. And here's

13:11 our big entrance on the left for the

13:12 singer Rihanna.

13:20 Yeah. And then this is Rihanna related,

13:20 I think, too.

13:27 Yeah. She has a yellow customized Hummer

13:27 truck, too, that we've seen out on the

13:29 street before. Um, and then her Oh, it

13:31 looks like the the uh somebody's jumping

13:35 somebody. But this is Brianna's Escalade

13:36 that's on standby with the driver.

13:46 Ah, Bri's like, "Okay, I'm ready to go."

13:46 He's like, "Uh, Brianna, we have a

13:48 problem. Uh, can you bring the other

13:50 white car over here to jump start us,

13:51 please?

14:02 Yeah. And then the Palmer car new one

14:02 here on the left. Now, as I mentioned,

14:04 it kind of you driveway curves around in

14:13 there. Uh car because 1,700. There's uh

14:13 apparently I think uh Billy Lord, Carrie

14:16 Fischer's daughter, still owns both

14:18 these houses, although she had them

14:19 listed for $18 million for both to try

14:22 to sell one time several years ago.

14:24 Trade out here. I'm going to try to Oh,

14:25 actually, you know what? Let me just

14:26 start pulling up now. I'll just kind of

14:27 go slow just in case because yeah, this

14:29 where these signs are. This was Carrie

14:31 Fischer's original gate and those were

14:33 her signs. So, yeah, her daughter left

14:35 those up, but a lot of the times that

14:37 middle entrance, that big one, is open

14:39 so you can see just a little bit better

14:40 of a view. Anyway, you're going to see

14:42 the same kind of tree on the other side

14:44 of the street. So, palm trees are the

14:46 more popular ones that people think

14:49 about when it comes to Beverly Hills.

14:50 So, yeah, we'll definitely drive through

14:51 a few of those streets. And then most of

14:54 the power lines in Beverly Hills are

14:56 underground. We'll see a few above

14:58 ground power lines in a few of the

15:00 alleyways, but the majority of them are

15:02 underground in Beverly Hills. And all

15:04 the fire hydrants are painted platinum

15:06 in Beverly Hills, too, which you're not

15:08 going to see in any other areas. Okay.

15:10 Well, that cone or the the uh Okay.

15:13 Anyway, he's out of the

15:15 way. If it was like a computer game,

15:18 yeah, that would have been like extra

15:19 points, right? But

15:27 anyway, or the Godfather House, which is

15:27 also known as the bodyguard house. And

15:30 um yeah, the only time that we weren't

15:32 able to drive by lately was well, and

15:34 even when she's home, she has minimum

15:36 two security guards that sit out front,

15:37 but they don't Yeah, we just drive up

15:39 and back and they don't say anything.

15:41 But when there's too many SUVs up there,

15:43 like there were for the Grammys, which

15:45 was in LA. But then when she was getting

15:47 ready to go to the Super Bowl, even

15:48 though it wasn't in LA, it was still

15:50 just too much activity where security

15:51 met us halfway down and was like, "Uh,

15:52 dude, it's not enough. You guys won't be

15:54 able to get up there and turn around."

15:55 Anyway, so just turn on to Taylor Swift

15:57 Street. All right, Swifties, get ready.

15:59 Coming up on the right, you'll look for

16:01 uh a brick wall, white, brick wall. As

16:03 soon as you see it, those three

16:05 entrances to Taylor Swift's on the

16:06 right. And then we'll we'll turn around.

16:08 This is a yeah example of a culde-sac

16:10 too which celebrities are known to live

16:12 on um for privacy cuz who else is going

16:15 to be driving up here except for tours.

16:17 Anyway, passing by

16:32 Taylor both entrances and then above the

16:32 hedge too. A bit of a view. There it is

16:34 now on the right for Floyd Mayweather's

16:36 Beverly Hills plays.

16:43 Yeah, 38 million listed for uh you would

16:43 think for that price they would have a

16:45 swimming pool in the background, right?

16:46 Just kidding. They totally

16:48 do. But yeah, here's that second

16:50 entrance. And then right next door to

16:51 the to uh Floyd Mayweather's Beverly

16:53 Hills house is the Beverly Hills Hotel.

16:55 So these are the bungalows that we're

16:57 seeing first that are part of the hotel

16:58 on the right. It's actually more

17:00 expensive to stay in one of these

17:01 bungalows than it is in the main

17:02 building. And there's this saying that

17:04 if a celebrity wants to be seen, they're

17:05 going to stay at the Beverly Hills

17:07 Hotel. If they're going to if they want

17:08 to be left alone, they're going to stay

17:09 at the Chatel Marban Hotel, which we'll

17:12 see later when we're on the Sunset Strip

17:13 in West Hollywood. But um and and it

17:16 actually is pretty true because this is

17:17 where we've seen a lot of celebrities

17:19 like and met a few celebrities. We saw

17:21 the actor John Boyd here one time beside

17:23 Jerry Seinfeld. We got to meet Steve

17:25 Goodenberg. Uh and we also got to meet

17:28 Shaquille O'Neal on the tour. He was

17:29 standing right on the sidewalk just up

17:31 here in front of the this side of the

17:32 main building.

17:35 Uh yeah, but built in 1912 for the

17:37 Beverly Hills Hotel. Um and it's where

17:40 they film scenes from movies like

17:41 Beverly Hills Cop with Eddie Murphy,

17:43 American Jigalow with Richard Gear. They

17:45 filmed scenes from Pretty Woman here,

17:47 too. But it's not the main Pretty Woman

17:49 hotel. We're going to see that soon. We

17:50 already saw the fire escape. Take a look

17:52 if you want to take a picture of this

17:54 Beverly Hills uh hotel entrance sign

17:56 here, which let's see what Yeah, looks

17:58 like we have enough

17:59 Yeah, looks like we Well, it's going to

18:01 turn in the next 15 seconds, but I think

18:02 we're all right as far as anybody's

18:04 taking a few pics. And also, as a bonus,

18:06 I'm going to go slow as we're turning.

18:08 So, you get another angle on the sign

18:09 coming up here in a

18:16 sec. Let me check to see what

18:16 traffic. Okay,

18:22 good. Yeah, Tesla Cybertruck about four

18:22 or five months ago hit into that sign

18:24 and like dented the bottom post. So

18:26 that's why this whole sign like leans to

18:27 the right just a little, you know. Oh

18:30 wow. Yeah, just a touch. Huh. Now, so

18:32 yeah. So that and I've been up that

18:34 street before. But

18:41 yeah, one true crime thing that will uh

18:41 uh be that we will be driving by the

18:43 real house for is um does anybody

18:46 remember about the Menendez brothers?

18:48 Yeah. Yeah. So the Menendez brothers.

18:50 Uh-oh. Let me try to pull this off real

18:51 quick. I think we can. Thanks, Blue

18:54 Car. Yeah. So, we'll pass by where that

18:56 happened. The real house.

19:00 I got to find out what this guy is

19:01 saying right now cuz

19:03 just follow him and repeat everything he

19:05 says. Yeah. Yeah. He was most famously

19:07 known for the TV show Columbbo. So,

19:09 Peter Faul, his Beverly Hills house was

19:12 this one, this yellow house that we're

19:13 going to be slowing down in front of,

19:15 which is right here. And you know what?

19:16 I'm actually just going to pull over

19:17 real quick cuz we got two cars behind

19:18 us. This was Peter Fox. And then next to

19:22 it on our left, this brick house was the

19:25 comedian Jack Benny's house. Lefthand

19:27 side now. Next to that was where uh oh

19:30 more people honking. This was where uh

19:32 Lucy and Dez those last three houses.

19:35 It's actually it was a a bunch of people

19:37 were trying to make it a historical

19:38 building, but then they lost that

19:40 battle. But the the owner of like

19:42 StubHub or something is building a house

19:44 there anyway.

19:47 Yeah. Did you get a good enough angle on

19:48 your I think so.

19:50 Yeah, like that's one thing I was going

19:52 to mention. That's how it gets a little

19:53 tricky depending on the side too, which

19:55 I get anyway. Uh, so yeah, again, not

19:57 sure what they're filming, but one thing

19:58 I know that they did film here in the

20:00 past was if anybody knows the uh or seen

20:03 the TV show Hats, the swimming pool for

20:05 the Hacks TV show, even though the house

20:08 was filmed in a different place was or

20:10 the the the Michael Jackson house

20:12 swimming pool for Hat Beverly Hills sign

20:15 going to be on our left side that if

20:17 especially if everybody or you know or

20:19 in the front, but especially on the left

20:21 there's a Beverly Hills on our right

20:22 first. These are just kind of cool to

20:24 see. the fact that this is where Judy

20:26 Garland lived at one time. So Dorothy

20:28 from the Wizard of Oz way before these

20:30 statues were here. But the statue is

20:31 definitely an added bonus to check out.

20:39 Oh yeah. And then while we're here, we

20:39 might as well cuz earlier it was cloudy

20:41 and I wasn't sure it was going to rain,

20:42 but then I like looked at uh I listened

20:44 to uh Steve Martin from LA story doing

20:46 his little weather forecast. So the

20:48 property value at least 10 million now.

20:50 All right. So take a look on the other

20:51 side of the street on the left. See the

21:19 So yeah, where uh yeah, Golden Globes

21:21 every year Whitney Houston passed away.

21:24 Yeah. And then uh but then Yeah. And

21:27 then uh here it is now for the a closer

21:29 look on the right for the witch's house.

21:32 Yeah. Halloween night, as you could

21:34 predict, the most craziest day. I

21:36 actually am trying to get into the

21:37 screenwriting side of things here in LA.

21:39 So I wrote a movie script about tour

21:40 guides. I made sure this the Well, first

21:42 of all, I made sure parking

21:43 enforcement's the bad guy in that movie,

21:44 one of the bad guys. But then I made

21:46 this a filming location. So hopefully we

21:47 can talk about a future movie than

21:49 Clueless. Take a look who's up in the

21:50 tree. If you can see her, the witch. She

21:52 blends in there. If you don't see her

21:54 yet, just look for those red shoes,

21:56 which a lot of the times too lately

21:57 people have been saying like, "Why are

21:58 we even going to rode? We need to go

22:01 shopping." But then we see the money

22:03 truck there, right? The brains truck. So

22:05 when we see that and we have the numbers

22:06 in the van like we have now to kind of

22:08 overpower the driver, that's usually

22:10 what ends up funding our shopping spree

22:12 on Rodeo Drive. So everybody remembers

22:14 the plan, right? Yeah. All right. So, if

22:16 we see the money truck and I yell

22:17 positions, everyone, that's our cue.

22:19 We'll be shopping in no time. Let's see

22:20 if we can get through this street light,

22:22 though. First, now this street light is

22:24 a famous street in LA that we're about

22:25 to cross. And it's Santa Monica

22:27 Boulevard. The pier is about 7 miles

22:30 away if we were to make a right here.

22:31 Now, I'm guessing anybody who hasn't

22:32 been to the pier yet, it's on your

22:33 places that you might be visiting as

22:35 well if you haven't already been there.

22:38 But yeah, starting at the Santa Monica

22:40 Pier, this section of Santa Monica

22:41 Boulevard is a section of Route 66. This

22:44 us this light usually turns green faster

22:46 than it it is. So that's kind of section

22:48 of Wilshire Rodeo is where the Beverly

22:50 Wilshire Hotel is. The world famous

22:52 Pretty Woman Hotel that Richard Gear

22:55 brought Julia Roberts to after he picked

22:56 her up on Hollywood Boulevard. So

22:58 that'll be on our right side uh soon.

23:00 And as we get a little closer too, I'll

23:01 give you a heads up about it.

23:21 Just below the flags, you got the purple

23:21 and white awnings. Here it is now for

23:22 the world famous Beverly Wilshire Pretty

23:24 Woman Hotel. I'm going to take my time

23:26 before making a turn unless we see a cop

23:28 so that way you can get a little bit

23:29 closer look. And I hope everybody who's

23:31 taking pictures get some good ones there

23:32 from this angle. Uh we saw for a

23:34 celebrity sighting one time Chris

23:36 Hemsworth right at that entrance because

23:38 he was filming a scene for a movie he

23:39 was working on called Crime 101. I

23:42 always mentioned celebrity sightings

23:43 that we've had that we've seen in the

23:44 past just because hopefully that creates

23:46 some momentum for us. We need a

23:48 celebrity sighting. Now we saw Harrison

23:50 Ford walking on Rodeo Drive too before

23:52 and Henry Winkler uh for celebrity

23:54 sightings on the tour I was driving. But

23:56 here it is now. We just turned on to

23:58 check out some of the most famous uh or

24:00 sorry the u all the famous designer

24:03 expensive designer shops here on Rodeo

24:05 Drive. Yeah, there's the usually there's

24:08 a yellow Ferrari that's always parked on

24:10 Rodeo, but it hasn't been it wasn't

24:11 there earlier today which is all these

24:14 frames that you're seeing too. That's

24:15 like all like new. They always mix it up

24:16 with on Rodeo. So that's like new on the

24:19 last 3 or 4 months. But yeah, usually a

24:21 yellow Ferrari parked in front of this

24:23 Bjan shop here on the left side, which

24:24 is a super expensive men's clothing

24:27 store.

24:33 But then now, let's see. I think we're

24:33 going to be going through. Actually, you

24:35 know what? I'll just wait for the next

24:36 one cuz it's close enough. But so right

24:38 now, it's on the other side of the

24:40 street on the left. You'll see those red

24:42 flags with the white letters. Currently,

24:43 it's the Christian Lubboutan shop. But

24:45 inside that shop, that's the exact

24:47 filming location for those two scenes

24:49 from Pretty Woman. Filmed right in

24:50 there. So, as soon as we get the green

24:52 light to go, yeah, we'll officially pass

24:53 by here and you'll get a better

24:55 look. All right, first stop of the

24:59 day here at the Ringo Peace and Loves

25:03 Peace and Love handprint here or hand

25:06 sculpture next to the Beverly Hills

25:08 sign. Tour Gu is really good. full of

25:11 what I would perceive as actual actual

25:14 facts. A bunch of these and most of them

25:17 you can just tell are made up. I think

25:20 his are pretty pretty on point so

25:51 the first place you don't think of is

25:52 Beverly Hills, but it does in fact go

25:55 Hills. You know, I never or if I did, if

25:58 I did see this before, which I have been

26:00 to this fountain a couple times over the

26:03 years, it's been a few years since the

26:05 one of the guides stopped here. I didn't

26:07 realize there were little floating

26:09 Little floating flowers there in the

26:11 water in front of the Beverly Hills

26:12 sign.

26:44 Yeah, some of the times we saw him, it

26:44 was actually just as he was leaving his

27:04 never owned it, but he was renting it

27:14 there. So, and it's currently for sale

27:16 for like $13

27:18 million. And uh yeah, the Cold Water

27:21 Bank uh Coldwell Coldwell Banker sign

27:23 there. But right where it says beware of

27:25 dog sign, that's where we saw Alputino

27:27 come walking out of one time as we were

27:29 on the tour. But then the all the other

27:31 times that we saw him was just walking

27:32 in the neighborhood close by. Um anyway,

27:39 street. I heard he was just renting this

27:41 too for Aluccino. And then we'll cut

27:45 through and uh yeah, make our way more

27:47 through the this is still the flats of

27:48 Beverly Hills. No, no, sorry. Not these

27:50 pillars, but this one right here where

27:53 you see the white Range Rover and the

27:55 basketball net. Yeah, I'll get one more.

27:57 Here comes another uh in there, which he

28:00 most of the time doesn't even drive it

28:01 anymore. He just um he gets a driver to

28:04 do it for him like his assistant or

28:07 something cuz we saw him leave his other

28:09 gate one time and he was sitting in the

28:11 passenger seat of that white Range Rover

28:12 thing. All right. So, the next celebrity

28:15 house we're going to pass. Oh, first

28:16 though, because we've had people play

28:18 GTA V, I'm going to show you a house

28:19 that that they say is the real life

28:21 version of Michael's, and it'll be on

28:22 our right soon. And so, I'll get your

28:34 opinion. All right. So, you'll see the

28:34 driveway first and then the walkthrough

28:35 gate where this Mini Cooper's pulling.

28:37 This one right here. So, what do you

28:38 think for whoever's played GTA V? Think

28:40 could be a good Michael's. Yeah. Yeah.

28:42 which the Menendez house ended up

28:44 selling earlier of or sorry last year in

28:47 March for $17 million and they're doing

28:50 the renovations on it right now. Yeah.

28:58 hearing that was scheduled last like a

29:00 week or so ago. Oh, anyway. So, yeah,

29:48 when they or Yeah, this is still a

29:50 family tour,

29:51 everybody. But here it is. Here's where

29:53 it actually happened. Right here on the

29:55 right. And so, yeah, just to the right

29:57 of the front door is the front room

29:59 where that took

30:05 place. Yeah. So May 9th is the next day

30:05 that they're going to uh uh meet and

30:07 decide what to do next about the whole

30:11 thing. People, you know, especially all

30:12 those Tik Tok videos that want want to

30:14 see the Menendez brothers get free, but

30:15 it's called Sierra Towers in real life.

30:17 So yeah, see that tall building? We're

30:19 about to get a better view of that. So

30:20 yeah. So as far as GTA 5 tie-in for that

30:23 one, but in real life, that building is

30:25 where celebrities have had condos in

30:27 there in the past like Adam Sandler,

30:29 Sher, Lindsay Lohan. There's another

30:32 opening here where you're going to see

30:33 that building one more time in between

30:35 these two buildings. Uh but then

30:39 um yeah, Matthew Perry had a condo. So

30:41 yeah, right here, another look at Sierra

30:43 Towers right there on our left. 24

30:44 Kobe's two numbers. Why August 24th is

30:47 considered Kobe Bryant Day in the top

30:49 floor of the office building where the

30:50 basketball is, there's an exclusive

30:52 restaurant nightclub up there called

30:54 Soel House. It's members only. Lean

30:56 Order DiCaprio is a member up there, so

30:58 that's where he hangs out sometimes.

31:00 Now, another celebrity a place where

31:01 celebrities hang out uh sometimes is

31:04 coming up on our left as soon as and

31:05 yeah, I guess we are getting Let me

31:06 check to see just how bad bad traffic's

31:08 going to be for us. But yeah, I knew we

31:10 were going to get the Yeah, it's

31:11 actually not super bad, but I knew we

31:14 were probably going to possibly get the

31:16 beginnings of things. Anyway, take a

31:18 look at this orange umbrella on our left

31:19 up here. This place where the white

31:21 building is is called the Bird Streets

31:23 Club, and this is where celebrities hang

31:25 out sometimes like Adele, Justin Bieber.

31:28 It's also where Jay-Z and Beyonce had a

31:30 preg Grammys party there one

31:33 time. Now on our left is as we get to

31:36 this street light coming up here, you're

31:37 going to see a liquor store called Gil

31:39 Turners. And it's where the actress Hi

31:41 Barry one time she crashed her SUV into

31:44 that liquor store and then abandoned the

31:46 vehicle and she had to go to court a few

31:48 times to get that whole situation

31:51 resolved. The Roxberry in Night at the

31:54 Roxberry. So yeah, again, right here on

31:57 our left now officially. And then on our

32:00 left now is a couple of famous places

32:02 here on next to each other. The Rainbow

32:04 Bar and Grill First, also known as the

32:06 Rainbow Room. This is where bands like

32:08 Guns and Roses would hang out. Mly Crew,

32:10 Motorhead, Led Zeppelin, just to name a

32:11 few. Then perform at the Roxy, world

32:13 famous Roxy concert venue, which is a

32:16 50s style diner here in the Hollywood

32:17 area in West Hollywood. So yeah, the

32:19 Sunset Strip MLS here on our left side.

32:22 And then there's a Mel's in Hollywood

32:24 just south of the uh Walk of Fame on

32:28 Highland Avenue close to where the tour

32:30 started for that. If anybody's going to

32:32 grab some food at Mel's, there's a

32:34 closer one than that on the other side

32:35 of the street on the right uh from the

32:37 Comedy Store. But now there you'll see

32:39 it's a totally different building there

32:40 cuz the House of Blues didn't

32:43 survive. But comedy store still

32:46 survived. So here it comes now on our

32:47 left side officially as we're about to

32:50 pass by.

32:57 Yeah. So, here it is now for the comedy

32:57 store. See a bunch of other names here

32:59 on the side. This building itself though

33:01 was has been around since the 30s when

33:03 it was a restaurant nightclub called

33:05 Ceros. And that when it was Seros,

33:06 that's where like gangsters like Bugsy

33:08 Seagull would hang out. Led Zeppelin

33:10 would stay when they came to town on

33:11 tour in the 70s. Has anybody seen the TV

33:13 show Lucifer by chance? Yeah. So, this

33:16 art deco building coming up here on the

33:18 right side, Sunset Tower Hotel, they

33:19 used for the exterior for the Lucifer TV

33:21 show for his club and his character

33:23 lived in the penthouse. We have Saddle

33:25 Ranch on the left, famous country

33:26 western theme bar on the Sunset Strip.

33:28 David Dolor, the popular YouTuber, has

33:30 his own pizza place uh pizza place here.

33:33 Dori's Pizza on the left. And then

33:34 here's Carney on the left, which is a

33:36 famous train car restaurant diner

33:38 selling hot dogs and hamburgers.

33:41 So, I mentioned earlier too when we were

33:42 at the Beverly Hills Hotel that that's

33:44 where celebrities stay, if they want to

33:46 be seen. Now, if they want to be left

33:47 alone, the Chateau Hotel is coming up on

33:50 our left side. It's a white castle-like

33:53 building built in

34:03 1922. The loser mobile right here,

34:03 everybody.

34:04 I didn't recognize any big names on the

34:06 marquee uh for the laugh factory

34:08 tonight, but Arens Hall was there a few

34:10 days ago. David Spades there regularly

34:13 these days. Let's see if there's any big

34:14 names that have that are going to be on

34:17 here as we pass by. But here it is now.

34:18 Lefthand side, world famous Clap

34:21 Factory.

34:26 Tim Allen's going to be here pretty soon

34:26 too. I think sometime before the end of

34:32 the DA. There's two movie theater

34:46 season. I mean, especially during awards

34:46 season, the directors and the producers,

34:48 they there was no danger of a strike

34:50 between them, but it was just the

34:52 writers and the actors who were on

34:53 strike at the same time in Hollywood.

35:01 side has five celebrity ladies in it

35:04 that have already unfortunately passed

35:10 left. As you walk into the guitar center

35:12 on the ground is right here is the

35:14 Rockstar handprints. The rock walk as

35:58 an Alpoo Loco, a fast food chicken

36:00 place. When it first opened as an Alpoo

36:03 Loco, this is way before he was a famous

36:04 actor. One of Brad Pitt's very first

36:07 jobs that he ever worked when he first

36:08 moved to LA, he dressed up like on this

36:11 corner as a chicken for the grand

36:12 opening for when it was Aloo Loco. and

36:14 he was on the Ellen show a few years ago

36:16 and she asked him about it and he

36:19 confirmed yeah true story on that one uh

36:22 for loco dressing up like a chicken

36:29 and then speaking of Brad Pitt he

36:30 actually trained for the fight club

36:31 movie in this Hollywood gym that we're

36:33 about to pass by on our left too

36:41 yeah so we actually I thought yeah I

36:41 thought there was a couple of spots

36:42 where traffic was going to be even worse

36:44 but again. Yeah, we we came out uh

36:46 pretty good on the no traffic throughout

36:48 this one cuz Yeah, cuz as soon as we

36:50 make this turn, this is where the Walk

36:52 of Fame officially starts on this side

36:56 now. So, I'll make a right. But on the

36:58 left, you'll see these four silver

36:59 statues. And where these statues are,

37:01 this is where the Beatles and Elvis

37:02 Presley have their stars. And then the

37:04 Beatles each have their own individual

37:06 stars, too, which is uh uh which are on

37:09 Vine Street, which is where their record

37:10 label is, Capital Records. All right.

37:13 And so now as soon as we go through the

37:14 next street light is where we'll

37:15 actually be back to where we started. So

37:17 if anybody has any other uh questions,

37:20 definitely let me know. Other than that,

37:22 yeah, I hope everybody has a good rest

37:55 probably one of the more factual. I

37:57 don't know if everything said was

37:59 factual, but definitely was one of the

38:01 more factual than some of the other

38:02 ones. The only negative thing I would

38:05 say is that it was just it went a little

38:06 fast. It was definitely uh it was

38:08 definitely driving very very quick and

38:10 not a lot of time to kind of get any

38:12 photos or anything like that. They're

38:13 doing something over here at the Chinese

38:14 theater. It's like they're doing Empire

38:17 Strikes Back tonight. They're doing like

38:18 a a screening of it. Uh not a premiere,

38:21 but they're going to you can see like

38:22 some area setup over here for the

38:25 celebrities to walk in. You have to

38:26 wonder if Mark Hamill or Harrison Ford

38:30 will be in there

38:31 tonight. There's a red

38:34 carpet.

38:37 Pretty neat. Pretty neat. Right here at

38:39 the world famous Chinese Theater here in

38:42 Hollywood. Yeah. I enjoyed that tour.
