0:02 welcome everyone Adam the woo here
0:02 coming to you from the crossroads of
0:05 lamus and Bedford Drive and if you look
0:10 closely at the tippy top of that street
0:12 sign it says Beverly Hills and you can
0:16 tell by the palm trees that's seen in so
0:19 many movies stretching down the road
0:23 that very familiar
0:31 cliche view of these PS trees stretching
0:31 both this way and this way and this
0:35 exact view was actually used in the 1986
0:38 film Down and Out in Beverly Hills
0:42 Beverly Hills that's where I want to be
0:47 it's my second channel daily Vlog
0:48 channel it's the daily woo filming
0:51 locations of a classic I don't know
0:54 maybe not really a classic but a movie
0:56 that I remember from my youth starring
0:58 Nick no and Richard
1:01 and it's interesting because the house
1:02 from the movie is right over here and of
1:05 course on this road the character played
1:07 by Little Richard also live and they
1:09 filmed a lot of scenes but right behind
1:12 these Hedges that have actually sprung
1:15 up since the movie in the mid 80s were
1:17 filmed and behind this neighborhood
1:20 watch program in for sign luckily I am
1:24 not wearing a weird hat like this guy is
1:27 so hopefully they will not call the
1:29 police or
1:30 the police is that a police officer
1:32 behind me is that a police officer no
1:34 it's just a
1:35 truck okay let's talk about the movie
1:38 mid 80s I am a big fan of 80s films I
1:41 think Down and Out in Beverly Hills is
1:43 still on Netflix I actually watched it
1:45 about a month ago for the first time in
1:47 a long time and it still kind of holds
1:48 up B Midler is in it of course that
1:50 familiar scene where she's running
1:51 through the house call 911 call 911 that
1:55 all happened right behind here this is
1:58 actually the house that the family lived
2:01 in so let's actually take a
2:04 peek you see my van is parked over on
2:06 the side of the road and there is the
2:08 house check it out the windows still
2:11 look the same and that circular window
2:13 right there is the same as well as the
2:15 front porch in the stairway and you can
2:17 actually get a better view when you go
2:19 around the side and of course this
2:21 fantastic tree which we turn the corner
2:24 you will actually get a little bit
2:26 better view of the house and that tree
2:29 shown in the movie movie and the
2:30 interesting thing is the alleyway that
2:33 is so prominently displayed in that
2:35 fantastic ending scene when Nick Noti
2:37 basically shuns the family walks with
2:40 his dog out and says I do not need to be
2:45 here I do not live in Beverly Hills I
2:47 have come from a different place I do
2:48 not need to live in a nice fancy house
2:51 and then he goes down to eat the dog
2:53 food and he changes his mind and says
2:55 you know what heck it if you will I will
2:58 live in Beverly Hills with my my new
3:00 found friends and new found family the
3:02 alley is actually on the back side of
3:05 the actual house so there you go here's
3:08 the house itself take a look at the
3:17 house pretty cool of course it's also a
3:17 private residence so we don't want to
3:18 Snoop around too much we don't want to
3:20 like be looking over the fences too hard
3:22 we want to stay on the sidewalk you want
3:24 to stay on the sidewalk where we allowed
3:26 to be next to these next to these
3:30 are those
3:32 patunas did you guys ever see that movie
3:36 I remember as a child I was a big fan of
3:38 beaches and bet Midler and I remember
3:42 that movie came out and it was actually
3:43 a lot of a it was a rated R movie so it
3:45 was a lot more adult nuances and humor
3:48 in it so I was not allowed to watch that
3:50 as a child I didn't actually watch it
3:52 till I got a little older as a teenager
3:54 or young adult or even like in my early
3:56 20s and like I said before I actually
3:58 just recently watched it probably about
4:00 a month ago on Netflix but there you can
4:02 actually see right over there is where a
4:03 lot of the stuff happened there's
4:04 actually a pool on the back side of this
4:08 brick wall and look at this these trash
4:11 cans Beverly Hills did you ever think
4:15 that you would vicariously join me in
4:17 the city of Beverly Hills Beverly Hills
4:21 trash cans those are fancy spancy
4:25 schmancy trash can that someone has
4:27 discarded of some sort of foliage like
4:30 cornstalks or bamboo or something of
4:34 that nature so if we were to actually
4:35 peek through here you would actually see
4:37 that there was a pool behind there we're
4:39 not going to actually peek into the
4:40 people's property but I wanted to show
4:42 you the alleyway this is the alleyway at
4:45 the end where Nick Niti is graveling
4:49 around on the ground goes down to eat
4:51 the dog food looks up and the family the
4:55 family is coming out of this right here
4:58 of this door right here and they look at
5:00 him and say just come back Nick come
5:03 back Nick Noti you know you want to live
5:05 with us and Nick noly says all right you
5:08 won me over and the movie comes to a
5:10 climactic happy ending pretty cool
5:13 thanks for joining me in this Vlog I do
5:15 a different Vlog every day sometimes the
5:17 Vlogs are random sometimes they're weird
5:19 sometimes they're theme parks sometimes
5:21 they're abandoned locations sometimes
5:22 they're movie locations in the back of
5:23 an alley in Beverly Hills hoping that
5:26 the homeowners association and the
5:28 neighborhood watch does not call the
5:32 police on me there's some construction
5:33 guys over here hopefully they do not
5:36 call the police in fact there's actually
5:37 a taco truck over there and they are
5:40 actually getting their early morning or
5:42 lunch break food so I might actually
5:44 walk over there I could actually use a
5:46 taco you know what I think I'm going to
5:47 go join those guys and get a taco thanks
5:50 for watching this Vlog I'll see you guys
5:51 tomorrow have a great day leave some
5:53 comments about the movie love you guys
5:56 I'm craving tacos now goodbye
