TDW 1082 - Big Momma's House : Filming Locations

0:03 Thursday you'll notice I'm wearing the

0:04 same t-shirt as I was yesterday the

0:07 reason for that is because two days in a

0:09 row I'm filming a new main Channel Adam

0:12 the woo filming location video Justin

0:14 scar is helping with me with that we did

0:17 not get finished with all we had to do

0:20 yesterday we ended up spending most of

0:22 the day up in the mountains I almost ran

0:24 out of gas which was terrifying coasted

0:27 down the mountain but we made it out

0:29 with this we had to go back up into the

0:31 mountains after I got gas ended up going

0:34 up a very treacherous steep Road was

0:37 pretty terrifying so most of the stuff

0:40 we were supposed to get done yesterday

0:42 we probably only got about maybe 20% 20

0:45 to 25% of the filming done yesterday so

0:47 we're going to go out today hopefully go

0:50 out today depending if Justin actually

0:52 is feeling up to yesterday we were doing

0:54 some Periscope stuff on his Periscope

0:58 Justin scaron Periscope and on my peris

1:00 scope Periscope is a lot of fun I did

1:01 three periscopes yesterday including

1:04 some questions and answers Justin was

1:05 reading off people's questions live to

1:08 me while I was driving he was in the

1:09 passenger seat pretty cool if you have

1:11 not added me on Periscope I'll be doing

1:14 a lot of periscope today Justin was

1:16 periscoping from a location and I threw

1:19 a roll of toilet paper at him knocking

1:21 him down he kind of played it up a

1:22 little bit landed back hit his head on

1:25 the ground luckily it was on grass and

1:28 it was not concrete but he thinks that

1:30 he injured his head a little bit and

1:32 said he was really tired so hopefully

1:34 today he's feeling a lot better and we

1:35 can finish these locations for the Adam

1:39 the woo Channel but before I did that

1:41 even though I'm wearing the same shirt

1:43 as yesterday the same shirt as Wednesday

1:45 Thursday two days in a row wearing the

1:47 same shirt to keep the continuity for

1:50 the future Adam the woo Channel video

1:53 today however I am standing this morning

1:56 before I roam around the nether regions

1:59 of Los Angeles

2:01 I am in Orange County California on the

2:03 corner of Maple Avenue and schaer street

2:08 right here in the city of Orange

2:14 and a lot of people leave suggestions

2:16 either through social media Twitter

2:18 Instagram Facebook and now Periscope but

2:20 also people leave Suggestions by leaving

2:22 comments on these everyday Vlogs and a

2:24 lot of people have said since you are in

2:26 the Orange County area you should go by

2:28 the filming locations of a 2000 the year

2:31 2000 2000 film starring Martin Lawrence

2:36 and Paul Giamatti Big Mama's House and

2:40 Big Mama's House is actually right over

2:44 here

2:54 House it's my second channel daily blog

2:54 channel it's the daily woo I rest

2:58 assured it is the da daily woo and that

3:01 is big mama's house and right over here

3:04 by this fire hydrant at the beginning of

3:06 the movie if you are familiar with the

3:08 film The Very opening scene pretty much

3:11 in this neighborhood starts off with an

3:13 ice cream truck driving by and

3:16 presenting Big Mama's House from the

3:19 side angle and we're going to walk up

3:21 momentarily and get a little bit of a

3:23 closer view but right across the street

3:26 are where the detectives Martin Lawrence

3:28 and Paul Giamatti were actually up on

3:31 that little balcony up there and they

3:33 were looking down with their binoculars

3:35 over scouting out Big Mama's house so

3:39 both of these homes were actually used

3:41 in the TV show or actually in the movie

3:44 The feature film and I do not think Big

3:46 Mama's House too was filmed here correct

3:48 me if I am wrong do some Columbo like

3:50 research and let me know if this house

3:53 and this house were actually used in the

3:55 sequel I must confess I have not

3:57 actually seen Big Mama's House number

3:59 number two the sequel but there it is

4:02 192 you can see right there the address

4:05 plastered on the side on the side of the

4:08 road 1 192 schaer Street here in Orange

4:13 California so this is the house right up

4:15 there through that window is where they

4:17 were peeking through with the binoculars

4:20 looking down upon this home Big Mama's

4:25 House and if you remember correctly all

4:27 the women at the beginning of the movie

4:29 were standing there they're holding

4:30 their pies and their cakes and they came

4:33 across the street to welcome the new

4:37 neighbors right here and as Paul

4:39 Giamatti was standing at that front door

4:42 and he was entertaining the ladies of

4:43 the neighborhood Martin Lawrence ran

4:46 right down that sidewalk around the back

4:50 and actually infiltrated the house and

4:52 got inside the

4:54 house police detective style pretty

5:00 Big Mama's House look at this movie

5:05 history right here in Orange County

5:12 California and around the back you

5:12 remember a couple scenes as well a lot

5:14 of stuff happened up on the porch and

5:16 I'm not sure if they use the Interiors

5:18 for this but a lot of the exterior

5:19 scenes were filmed right here in this

5:21 very yard a lot of stuff happened on the

5:24 porch a lot of stuff happened right here

5:26 in the front yard but a lot of stuff

5:28 also happened in the the backyard you

5:30 remember a couple times when they were

5:31 trying to get inside the house they

5:32 would go around the back of the house

5:35 and they would jump a fence of course

5:37 Martin Lawrence leaped over it very

5:39 eloquently but Paul Giamatti when he

5:41 tried to go over the fence he actually

5:43 stumbled and fell I think the fence is

5:46 actually still there when I walked by

5:47 here a second ago you can actually kind

5:49 of see that the fence is still kind of

5:52 there where they actually leaped over

5:54 the side of the fence the fence is right

5:55 over this fence you can see it

6:02 you can see it right there and you can

6:02 also see the back of the house this is a

6:05 private residence of course and a

6:07 peaceful calm neighborhood you do not

6:09 want to disturb neighbors and residents

6:13 of homes especially if people are living

6:15 there you want to respect their privacy

6:17 but I wanted to show you big mama's

6:20 house and I think I was mentioning

6:21 Justin scar at the beginning I think he

6:22 did a sometimes Vlog for his Justin

6:25 scarred Vlog Channel years and years ago

6:28 maybe a year ago

6:30 actually I think he's only been doing

6:31 Vlogs for a year so let's say seven

6:33 eight months ago to a year ago he

6:35 actually did a detailed Vlog or

6:38 sometimes Vlog there as well but I could

6:39 not find it I looked it up online see if

6:42 you can find Justin Scar's Vlog about

6:45 Big Mama's house because I could not

6:47 find it I tried searching it on YouTube

6:49 maybe he deleted it or maybe it's just

6:50 hiding in the nether regions of all his

6:53 videos over on his channel so hopefully

6:56 today Justin scar is feeling better we

6:58 go out and finish accomplish the main

7:01 Channel Adam the woo video that we are

7:02 working on gave you guys some hints

7:04 yesterday pretty excited about this

7:06 location lot of spots in the Los Angeles

7:10 County area spent a lot of time driving

7:12 yesterday spent a lot of time on

7:14 Periscope Periscope is pretty amazing

7:17 it's kind of difficult Periscope is

7:19 difficult as well because these Vlogs

7:21 are unedited but they're not live so I

7:23 film them and the interaction comes

7:26 later when I read your guys comments and

7:27 I reply to your guys comments par escope

7:30 is 100% live which means as I'm talking

7:34 to you I am reading the comments so

7:36 basically as I am talking to you sir you

7:39 are typing on your keypad on your

7:40 smartphone or your computer or whichever

7:43 Periscope app that you are using to

7:45 watch and I am reading what you are

7:47 saying and I am answering your questions

7:49 in real time so if I'm hanging out with

7:51 someone I'm trying to entertain them I'm

7:54 trying to communicate with you and I'm

7:56 also trying to read your comments so

7:57 it's kind of a overwhelming experience

8:01 but after I get it down to a science and

8:03 I figure out I think it's going to be a

8:04 very positive thing and it's going to

8:06 keep you guys way more informed and get

8:08 you to know me a little bit better than

8:10 you know me now like it's a lot more

8:12 in-depth personal and live plus these

8:15 Vlogs are here on the daily woo this

8:17 unedited Vlog channel are actually done

8:19 in the morning time so as I'm doing
