0:16 Here Comes the
0:16 Sun good
0:18 morning I slept next to these trucks
0:20 last night in this Travel Plaza parking
0:25 lot look at this
0:26 fog slightly ominous
0:30 but very beautiful there's something
0:31 about early mornings that I really enjoy
0:34 maybe it's the fact that not the rest of
0:36 the world is completely awake yet and
0:39 you feel like the world is your oyster
0:43 if you will and you add in the element
0:45 of a little bit of faint fog on the
0:48 skyline and it even adds even more of an
0:51 awesome Ambiance today is going to be a
0:54 good day in front of the Lighthouse
0:56 Christian Fellowship Center is a real
0:59 deal Li house check that
1:10 out there's an old carnival ride right
1:10 there called the Cobra it's in someone's
1:13 yard and also the kitty
1:16 coaster that's where carnival
1:19 rides sit when they're not being used
1:21 welcome everyone Adam the woo here it's
1:24 my second channel daily Vlog channel
1:26 it's uh the daily woo
1:31 I spilt a little on the inside of the
1:34 windshield oops I can't tell if this is
1:36 a house or a store either way someone
1:39 has a lot of old Coca-Cola
1:41 merchandise including a cooler on the
1:45 front porch but it's all fenced off
1:48 either way very awesome looking for a
1:50 food mart well meet this one
2:06 Super Dollar now this is freaking cool
2:06 look at
2:15 this it's an old ambulance man look at
2:15 that
2:16 thing that is awesome hey big the foot
2:20 remember when you said you were going to
2:22 open that Travel Center well someone
2:25 beat you to it I'm sorry big guy I'm
2:29 sorry I just picked up a Bojangles
2:32 biscuit they all close in Florida so I'm
2:35 happy to see this again I knew a biscuit
2:37 named Bojangles and it would nourish you
2:40 with its cheese sausage and bread I
2:44 think they forgot to add the sausage
2:46 just a few Necessities to make life a
2:48 little more comfortable and having extra
2:50 bags like this is always good cuz you
2:52 can empty trash out at any time just
2:53 throw the garbage in there and walk it
2:56 out to a trash can I got this dark
2:57 curtain to put here just temporarily if
3:00 I pull over real quick in a parking lot
3:02 and I don't want people know that I'm
3:04 stopped and I'm inside that's what this
3:06 is for I just simply dangle it right
3:09 there and just you know stick something
3:10 on there just to hold it
3:13 normally this goes all around the edge
3:17 so when I'm sleeping at night that's
3:19 what I use but for something a little
3:22 faster I went with this option how
3:24 appropriate is this little arcade video
3:27 game here called road trip
3:30 I guess you spin that wheel tells you
3:32 how far you're going the amazing road
3:35 trip you can go to Denver or even as far
3:39 as Hollywood California on the amazing
3:43 road trip what do you think that sign's
3:45 trying to tell
3:48 me this makes Wheel of Fortune look like
3:51 Amateur hour I show a lot of old
3:53 cocacola signs but here's a vintage
3:56 Pepsi one for an old Motel look at that
3:59 thing
4:04 those trees look like something out of a
4:04 Tim Burton
4:06 film hundreds of them as I was driving I
4:09 Heard a Voice saying move over this way
4:12 and it was this guy right here he wanted
4:14 to see the RV what do you think you like
4:17 it I love this 1970s era sign stating
4:22 that I am in Quitman Georgia and check
4:25 out the parking situation here in these
4:28 small towns
4:47 it's been a while since I've been in an
4:48 area where they allow you to burn stuff
4:50 in the backyards you don't see that too
4:53 often in a lot of States because it's so
4:55 dry this Monument was placed here by the
4:57 ladies Memorial Association in
5:01 1978 to honor the Confederate dead isn't
5:05 it interesting that those that put this
5:07 here are also now dead stuff like that
5:10 really blows my mind if I think about it
5:12 too long one of my favorites so far
5:14 today is this wash arama sign there used
5:17 to be a coin operated laundry facility
5:21 right here and I'm guessing it became a
5:24 barbecue restaurant noticing the
5:26 lettering in the top left corner and
5:28 then down the hill
5:30 is a mural of Jesus and John the Baptist
5:34 it's an old abandoned mechanics place
5:36 called
5:37 Willies tire shop look at all these
5:41 leftover tires
5:48 outside okay thank you thanks for the
5:48 info one of the locals here just
5:50 corrected me and said that's not a
5:52 barbecue sign it said produce the P kind
5:56 of look like BBQ from a distance on a
5:59 side note if I ever make a movie and
6:00 need a voice actor for a villain hireing
6:04 that guy this is the kind of stuff I
6:06 love look at this down town area look at
6:09 that bank it's filled up with storage
6:11 but check it out you can see the counter
6:13 and where the teller would stand to hand
6:16 you money erected so long ago they had
6:19 to use Romanian numbers sure there was a
6:22 time when that was a very thriving place
6:25 as well as this former hardware store
6:29 you can see the rusted out lettering
6:30 right there on the side of the wall they
6:32 don't make signs like that anymore I had
6:33 this moderate obsession with old
6:35 Americana signage
7:04 oh this is a real good one check out
7:04 above the two broken panels there was
7:07 some sort of light up Globe like a
7:09 circle all
7:11 broken that's old school cumula Nimbus
7:15 overload ahead welcome to Boston home of
7:18 a marathon no not that Boston this one
7:22 is in Georgia every time I see the words
7:25 fresh fish I can't help but think of sha
7:28 shank fresh Fish Fresh Fish they've
7:31 converted the old train depot into a
7:34 little bit of a store these little
7:37 vehicle pods I'm certain are used for
7:40 either storing or moving something I'm
7:43 not really sure what though that is the
7:44 most least expensive littering fine I've
7:48 ever seen it's honestly less expensive
7:49 than going to a landfill they might want
7:51 to rethink that here's the police
7:52 department they have one patrol car and
7:56 a very small building as their facility
7:58 there's my street right right there on
8:01 the corner of Maine one thing you'll see
8:02 in a lot of places like this are no
8:04 street lights just stop signs welded to
8:08 where the street lights should be all
8:10 right small Bridge alert definitely
8:13 couldn't get two of these RVs Side by
8:15 Side downtown Thomasville now driving
8:19 over bricks I love these towns that
8:22 haven't paved over their old bricks and
8:25 just down the street is the Big Oak but
8:28 I had to park because
8:30 there is low clearance ahead Circa
8:33 1680 height of 68 ft circumference of 25
8:38 ft and a Wings span if you will of 165
8:44 ft you could definitely put this thing
8:46 in the category of majestic and it's
8:51 being held by metal
8:54 wires keeping the branches together and
8:58 please if you respect the Big Oak no
9:02 climbing please this was President
9:04 Dwight D Eisenhower's favorite tree and
9:07 on many occasions when he was hunting in
9:09 the area he would stop by and just hang
9:11 out underneath it do a little reflecting
9:13 this thing is incredibly massive and
9:17 very impressive the fact that it has not
9:20 been struck by lightning or Fallen
9:23 victim to a developer's hand is a very
9:27 very good thing there is a camera
9:29 mounted on the telephone pole across the
9:31 street from the tree I did a little
9:33 researching online and I found a phone
9:36 number you call by calling that it takes
9:38 a picture of you in front of the Big Oak
9:42 then you go to a website and you can
9:44 download the photo how completely
9:47 random and awesome that
9:55 is I don't know if it's working I called
9:55 the phone number it said it took the
9:56 photo then it gave me a website to go to
9:59 I checked the website there are no
10:01 photos on there from 2017 yet maybe I
10:03 got to wait a few days I got to be
10:07 patient or it didn't work whoa am I
10:10 going to make it through here
10:12 that's
10:18 tight tight
10:18 squeeze think I got
10:20 this oh yeah we're
10:24 good barely but we're good this is the
10:27 laam Patterson house and has a very
10:29 interesting backstory the gentleman who
10:31 built it way back in the day was
10:33 terrified of fire and he really had a
10:36 disdain for 90° angles and there are
10:41 45 exterior doors around the facility
10:45 and 19 rooms that are asymmetrical back
10:48 in the 1980s when they would give tours
10:50 of this place they would tell you that
10:52 there were no 90° angles anywhere on
10:56 property but that has been proven toight
10:59 be true this is around the rear of the
11:01 building he built this in 1884 after
11:04 moving from Chicago and he witnessed
11:06 firsthand the Great Chicago Fire he was
11:09 always very paranoid look at the size of
11:12 these windows very easy access to get
11:15 out of there in case of an emergency I
11:17 wonder if anyone's ever graffitied a g
11:21 on
11:27 there got to turn the generator on for a
11:27 few charge some accessories as well as
11:30 drone batteries and my laptop and
11:33 checking to see if the AC works which it
11:35 does and I'm about to cook some soup in
11:38 the
11:40 microwave I mentioned yesterday that I
11:42 have unlimited data through AT&T and a
11:45 lot of people left some great
11:46 suggestions about tethering my iPhone to
11:49 my laptop sadly that is not accessible
11:53 if you have been grandfathered in
11:54 through AT&T so tethering my phone
11:57 through Bluetooth and going through all
11:58 those options
11:59 is not feasible but that's okay I don't
12:01 really use my laptop that much it's not
12:04 vital to have it every single morning or
12:06 every single night so whenever I can get
12:09 Wi-Fi I'll use it most everything else I
12:11 do is on my phone
