0:12 Florida the humidity the bugs have are

0:15 here rearing their they've been rearing

0:17 their head but I haven't been home for

0:19 two months today I'm going head to

0:21 Central Florida Fairgrounds for an event

0:23 called punk in the park I'm an old punk

0:26 rocker nothing says punk rock more like

0:29 a a loha shirt but I'll put the cap on

0:32 backwards so that'll give me a little

0:34 punk credentials now I did play in a lot

0:36 of bands of the punk persuasion for many

0:38 many years the last band I was in

0:40 stopped playing with them about 10 years

0:42 ago by the name of Guttermouth they are

0:44 playing today along with a Cavalcade of

0:47 other really great bands like triaa gets

0:48 all Authority South Florida band Down By

0:51 Law Dave sm's Band the

0:54 vandals Alkaline Trio all bands I know

0:59 love well don't really personally know

1:01 them but love

1:03 them going to see my friends in

1:04 Guttermouth play with them from 2011 to

1:07 2013 I don't know where the day is going

1:09 to lead not really into these outdoor

1:12 All Day festivals I was when I was

1:13 younger was really into the Warp Tour

1:15 and all those that era first Warp Tour

1:18 was in '95 coincidentally so I gut to

1:20 mouth on that eventually joined the band

1:23 later did five or six tours was in the

1:25 band a couple years playing base and I

1:27 use that term moderately I kind of just

1:29 jumped around a lot and hit a bunch of

1:32 notes and kind of made it happen I I was

1:33 okay I wasn't I wasn't the greatest but

1:36 now I'm doing YouTube and I'm going to

1:38 go relive my punk days It's All Coming

2:48 farther back than two months ago CU I've

2:49 been gone for like 57 days I think I

2:52 figured out it was it's not too happy

3:03 contempt but some contentment of the

3:06 fact that I'm going to be around all of

3:07 October in Central Florida and I'm

3:09 looking forward that to that as well big

3:17 funny funny fact that they actually have

3:20 Punk bunny coffee in there which is

3:24 green days coffee

3:26 brand I was with a Philly Captain the

3:29 other day and Philadelphia we were going

3:31 to try it 7-Eleven there didn't have any

3:33 so it's just so funny I'm just talking

3:35 about

3:36 Punk and I'm going to try some punk

3:39 bunny coffee didn't bring my camera in

3:40 with me but uh this is a photo I took on

3:42 my on my phone so I think this used to

3:46 be Oakland coffee that Mike dur the Bas

3:48 player Green Day started and I think

3:50 that folded and they just decided you

3:53 know what we probably would sell more if

3:55 we had the Green Day name on it now I

3:57 could be way off with that assumption

3:59 but I do believe that that's probably

4:01 what happened I went to Oakland coffee

4:04 when last time I was up in uh San

4:05 Francisco in Oakland well a couple times

4:07 ago and uh was hoping to meet Mike D

4:10 there but he wasn't there that day but

4:12 now now it's called punk bunny coffee

4:14 and it's geared more about around Green

4:17 Day than it is Mike D okay I have

4:19 officially parked this might be the best

4:21 windshield sun blocker ever the

4:32 far off in the future though because

4:34 it's happening today right there

4:49 especially with the two stages no band

4:52 playing at the same time of the other

4:54 band One band finishes their last song

4:55 and immediately the other stage starts

4:57 the first song parking over on this side

4:59 I believe believe is for some tents that

5:01 are set up for the farmer flea market

5:06 things like that I believe that's what

5:07 that is so the event I'm going to is

5:10 over

5:11 there a little memories of the vandals

5:15 love the vandals live past diarrhea the

5:16 quickening a assortment of really great

5:20 albums I have probably seen sweating to

5:23 the oldies I used to have that VHS in

5:24 the 9s 500 times my friends and I used

5:27 to watch it all the time

5:29 love that group and little Disney tie-in

5:32 Josh free who now plays for the Foo

5:35 Fighters used to perform his dad was the

5:38 head music director don't quote me on

5:40 this but he worked for

5:42 Disneyland Josh F used to play at the

5:45 tarland Terrace stage on the band and

5:48 that's how the vandals discovered him

5:50 one of the greatest one of my favorite

5:52 all-time favorite drummers I know a lot

5:54 of people say Travis Barker is the best

5:56 punk rock drummer I'm a Josh free sky in

5:59 fact the fifth or sixth show I ever

6:03 played when I tour with gutb I think it

6:04 was 2011 maybe 2012 was a a concert

6:07 called music and that was in Orange

6:10 County California and a huge show we

6:14 opened up for Bad Religion and the

6:15 vandals thousands of people there also I

6:19 never had

6:20 one practice when I played with

6:22 Guttermouth I showed up to the first

6:24 show and jumped on stage started playing

6:28 and I was in the band for like years

6:30 never had a formal practice and my fifth

6:32 or sixth or seventh show was opening for

6:35 the vandals Bad Religion and it was neat

6:37 because Josh F my favorite drummer was

6:40 playing with the vandals out I don't

6:41 think he's I don't think he's going to

6:42 be with them tonight cuz he's with Foo

6:44 Fighters now you never know though maybe

6:46 he'll do like a one-off show but that

6:48 was pretty neat I stood right next to

6:49 the drum kit a few feet away and just

6:51 watched the watch the master at work

6:53 another band is playing here Down By Law

6:55 Dave SMY and his group of

6:57 guys my buddy Rob my former roommate

7:00 years ago in the late '90s he had a

7:03 cassette player in his car and he had

7:05 the punk rock Academy album by Down By

7:08 Law stuck in his cassette player for

7:10 like 6 months so every single time we

7:13 would go anywhere that's what we we

7:15 listen to so I have every Nuance of that

7:19 album etched in my head forever remember

7:22 the Steven Wright joke I did an entire

7:24 cross country trip I only had one album

7:26 listen to it over and over and over and

7:28 over and over

7:30 I wish I could remember what it was been

7:32 here a number of times last time I was

7:34 here there was a haunted house in there

7:37 and the Blockbuster experience was

7:39 temporarily set up in

7:40 there it's been a while ago I've been to

7:43 a lot of fairs here as well and

7:45 carnivals and things like that all right

7:46 it's about 1:00 right now so you got a

7:48 stage over there and a stage over there

7:52 still really early also realizing if it

7:54 starts to downpour this is going to be

7:57 it's going to be a muddy mess a little

7:59 bit later plenty of port a roundabout

8:01 way kind of an interesting way the

8:02 reason I'm doing YouTube videos the

8:04 reason I was able to sleep in a van

8:05 travel around for a couple of years live

8:07 in a vanand basic live in the van

8:10 basically is because I did that in the

8:12 punk rock band traveling around playing

8:13 shows things like that so I already had

8:16 that that kind of that mindset for me

8:19 basically uh you use that term

8:21 specifically for me it's just more about

8:24 kind of a DIY Thing a do-it-yourself

8:26 type of thing a motivational thing and

8:27 not kind of going against the grain just

8:29 doing what you want for me that's that's

8:32 what that's what that terminology means

8:33 everyone else they have a different it's

8:35 not really about fashion and a mohawk

8:37 and all that but you know what I'm

8:38 saying but I also love the music so

8:39 there's that aspect as well yeah I saw

8:41 AAA probably gosh hundreds of times back

8:44 in the 9s I call him Triple A against

8:46 all authority the vand you know what the

8:49 vandals are definitely

8:51 utilizing the uh the Mickey over there

8:53 the steamboat Mickey which is no longer

28:26 stage for a couple bands

28:28 it's kind of neat catching up with the

28:30 guys and gutter

28:32 mouth when their little green room area

28:34 they had like a makeshift green room

28:36 area where they had food and stuff I

28:38 didn't really eat any of that but it did

28:39 consume quite a few

28:40 waters saw a lot of bands back there

28:42 tsol was on it and casualties were all

28:45 hanging out back

28:47 there hey I got to see the see the guys

28:50 brought back a lot of memories of

28:51 serious Deja Vu

28:53 moments I'm back uh over a decade ago

28:56 and was doing the punk rock thing it was

29:00 a successful night and I saw a lot of

29:02 people at the at the show at the at the

29:05 concert that I hadn't seen from back in

29:08 the back in the St Cloud CMI Orlando

29:11 punk rock days that was kind of cool

29:13 seeing a lot of lot of people catching

29:14 up with a lot of people look at there's

29:15 like a skull on the front of that oh

29:18 it's a doom

29:20 buggy anyway that's going to do it for

29:23 today kind of a different kind of

29:24 episode a little bit different kind of

29:27 episode it was really hot earlier it

29:28 feels great right now punk in the park

29:31 Orlando Edition is concluded I'll see

30:24 go on go on my phone listen to it and

30:28 that sounded a little more enjoyable

30:30 getting some fast food listening to the

30:32 album in the car going home and watching
