1:51 guess a lot of places have these but for

1:53 St Cloud I think it's very unusual

1:57 used anymore and I'm talking about

2:18 now empty not used and I'm curious why

2:21 is there an elevator there what sort of

2:24 business could have been here in one of

2:26 these to facilitate an elevator on a

2:31 shops nothing major sits this

2:42 door is locked it's actually

2:46 locked you can see the elevator way down

3:39 bumper because when I came up it seemed

3:41 like there was a magnetic pull to it but

3:43 in reality it was this paint stopper

4:05 but basically the best I can figure it

4:07 is there was some sort of business up

4:09 here that necessitated a wheelchair to

4:12 be actually brought to the top and I

4:14 think this elevator is actually made

4:17 specifically for wheelchairs to be

4:19 brought up to a second floor or higher

4:22 this one just happens to be the second

4:24 floor from down there upward straight up

5:19 bar to keep the wheelchair from

5:21 careening down this stairway Friday the

5:25 13th Part Two style we do not want that

5:28 to happen wait a second

5:36 obviously the water's still working

5:36 there were cars over there so one of

5:38 these businesses is actually still being

5:39 used even though the air conditioner

5:41 units are not on and that is not an

5:45 operation this elevator does not work

5:56 anymore so yes it says right here

5:56 capacity 750 lb or one person plus a

6:02 wheelchair there you go it's locked

6:14 up pretty interesting stuff have you

6:14 ever seen anything like this before

6:16 especially an outdoor elevator very

6:19 peculiar very interesting and even more

6:22 interesting is just only one sign there

6:24 Barber so I'm guessing behind us there's

6:26 a barber shop that's actually still

6:28 active where the baseball card shop used

6:30 to be that is a fantastic non-used

7:33 there they would give me a couple bucks

7:40 flyer which means they gave me a couple

7:42 dollars I would go over here this used

7:44 to be a convenience store gas station

7:47 convenience store back in the day they

7:49 give me a couple bucks I would buy them

7:51 some sodas and I would be able to buy a

7:53 soda for myself because I was the flyer

7:56 they bought I flew I buy you fly I flew

8:00 over here to the convenience store of

8:02 Boston beverages here on the corner in

8:13 13th a little memory from my younger

9:09 that stood from the ground up and I

9:10 would actually Hoist the t-shirts on it

9:12 I got that metal rack right here so any

9:15 old school folk that remember the band

9:18 the new threat that I was in way back in

9:20 the day the metal rack we would have at

9:22 our shows came from this dumpster so a

9:43 shop pretty crazy speaking of St Cloud I

9:43 just spent the last couple hours of the

9:44 s cloud History Museum over on

9:46 Massachusetts Avenue I've been taking a

9:48 lot of photos and videos talking with

9:50 the people the volunteers there I am in

9:53 the pre-production planning mental

9:56 stages of doing an entire documentary

9:58 about the history of St Cloud early

10:01 1900s the history of downtown St Cloud

10:04 so if you're in St Cloud get excited if

10:06 you're not in sacloud get even more

10:08 excited cuz you're going to learn the

10:10 awesome history of soldier City the

10:12 Wonder City so many nicknames of St

10:16 Cloud that will be coming hopefully the

10:18 next couple of weeks anyway I have my

10:21 keys here if I can get them off of my

10:24 belt my keys where are they they're

10:27 stuck I was going to get my keys off of

10:29 my chain here but there we go keys and
