0:19 hunting down the locations of the 1990

0:23 film troll - a sequel that has

0:26 absolutely nothing to do with its

0:29 predecessor highly regarded as one of

0:31 the worst movies ever made but over time

0:34 it has developed quite a cult following

0:37 and me and others included really enjoy

0:48 delving deep into all the nooks and

0:48 crannies of that particular subject

0:50 matter and that's what's happening now

0:53 we're heading to nilbog join me shall

0:57 you the first spot is the presents house

1:01 where they switched homes with people

1:03 from the country now this structure is

1:06 now gone

1:07 in 2006 see the satellite image it was

1:11 still there in this field and the pond

1:16 down below the property but fast forward

1:19 one more year to 2007 completely gone

1:23 and that pond covered up and they built

1:27 a another retention area a big hole in

1:44 descending Hills pinpoints the exact

1:57 a place of evil it was an evil place the

2:12 because if you're looking at it from the

2:15 perspective of where the farmhouse used

2:31 man was burned alive in that exact spot

3:14 discovered that they're very spread out

3:19 historic train station kind of gives the

3:21 vibe of where I need to be the cloud

3:28 approximate area has based on where he

3:31 was riding the skateboard you can even

3:33 see how they go upward and downward in

3:35 the same fashion my first impression was

3:39 that this driver's-license building took

3:41 the place and it's sat there next to

3:44 this after racking my brain for quite

3:47 some time whether it was to the left or

3:49 the right of this I just couldn't put my

3:51 finger on it and all of a sudden I

3:53 discovered it's one block over it's been

3:56 torn down bulldozed this cross streets

4:05 turn that corner it would have been

4:07 located there old satellite image proves

4:22 very faint but that's it riding his

4:22 board along this path he got to this

4:26 point and heard a noise an abandoned

4:30 building was in front of him with an

4:32 open door and that door is right where

4:47 way this direction see that telephone

4:52 pole that's where his dad was standing

6:15 as they drove along a very dismayed

7:32 window the concrete pieces that are

7:35 protruding out where the bricks are

7:38 those still remain and the outline of

7:41 the front window as well definitely

7:45 don't want anyone in here but through

7:48 the beauty of a zoom lens we can see the

7:53 stairs I was just mentioning top left of

7:57 what you're looking at you could see a

7:59 couple of them protruding out there

8:07 camera angle would have faced downward

8:07 as they walked in if only they knew what

8:11 they were getting themselves into don't

8:13 go in there it's it's too late towards

8:18 the back and near the top was the loft

8:22 where she was gobbled up and he couldn't

8:26 move he just had to sit and watch inside

10:11 town quite a few scenes happened on this

10:14 very corner including the sign that was

10:20 it's Goblin spelled backwards this is

10:24 their kingdom streetlights have been

10:27 changed and a few renovations but other

10:29 than that it looks exactly the same the

10:32 town's name prominently displayed on the

10:34 train station in real life as well as in

10:40 the movie

10:42 guess they missed that small detail when

10:45 the family pulls up with their minivan

10:48 parked it right there next to the

10:50 general store I now serve liquor and

10:53 there but most likely no coffee it's the

10:56 devil's drink

11:25 a few changes to the exterior since then

11:25 but I noticed right over here on the

11:28 bricks is a massive chip and of course

11:33 that chip still here all these years

11:36 later right there right next to his head

11:40 and more or less standing where he first

11:43 realized what was happening by looking

11:46 in the side rearview mirror while his

11:50 dad sat in a rocking chair right over

11:53 there reading a book about vegetables if

11:57 you watch closely you'll notice a man's

11:59 head peeks around the corner as he rides

12:02 off on a skateboard it's hard to see but

12:06 there's the man's face just kind of

12:09 looming I don't think that was

12:11 intentional and that letter M

12:13 designating the real town's name keeps

12:16 popping up on multiple occasions I mean

12:21 I guess it's hard to avoid it it is a

12:23 very large letter

12:30 stepping inside now I'm noticing the

12:30 fake brickwork and that little

12:33 indentation in the top of the wall is

12:36 still there you can see it between the

12:40 two characters heads and the bar still

12:44 remains even though it's been changed a

12:47 little bit and I was also paying

12:48 attention to this fence which the owner

12:52 said was here when they took over the

12:55 place the local town folk would have

12:57 hung out and peeked around it while

13:00 looking at the minivan drove off it was

13:02 right next to that front that front

13:04 window so it's the same bar you just

13:06 renovate you just renovated it a little

13:07 bit keep waiting for that guy to peek

13:15 his head out of there obviously there's

13:19 no curtain but gosh I just I'm just

13:22 waiting for I just know it's gonna

13:23 happen at any moment

13:33 still have one location to go

13:33 crack some at least 64 miles

13:40 the weights family house their home in

13:40 the city final scenes shot right in

13:46 there came downstairs to realize his

13:48 mother was being eaten alive do you want

14:00 looks a lot different repainted shudders

14:00 have been removed but this is its use
