0:02 Today's adventure begins as the
0:02 recording of Thursday, July 10th, 2025.
0:08 Not sure I said why I said the said the
0:10 year in that fashion, but I am back in
0:13 my hometown of Celebration, Florida
0:17 after being gone for more than three and
0:19 a half weeks.
0:21 Two very faroff international
0:23 destinations. I went to Amsterdam first,
0:26 then I went to England. Amsterdam,
0:29 Netherlands for about a week,
0:31 then I went to England for about a week,
0:34 and then for just about a week went over
0:37 to Paris, went to France. But I'm back
0:40 now back on my own what I consider my
0:44 own time zone, which feels pretty good
0:48 to be to be pretty honest to have kind
0:51 of the normality back. what I consider
0:52 normality, what I am more used to. I'm
0:55 back. Just mobile ordered some coffee
0:56 from Starbucks. Get a piping hot
0:58 caffeinated beverage. Start the day. I
1:00 am not even really going to leave the
1:02 celebration bubble today. Just going to
1:04 stay put, have a relaxing time at home,
1:06 do some things around town, walk the
1:08 lakefront, see what I've missed over the
1:10 past 3/4ers of a month, and just see
1:12 where the day leads. Welcome everyone.
1:14 Adam the Woo here, and I'm inviting you,
1:16 yes you, to join me. I'm going to No
1:20 real plan today. I am going to watch a
1:21 little Rays baseball later. It's going
1:23 to be nice to watch baseball
1:26 before 1:00 a.m. first pitch because
1:29 I've been, you know, 7:00 p.m. here.
1:31 First pitch was 1:00 a.m. in Paris. So,
1:34 there was some late nights. There were
1:35 some interesting nights. So, be back on
1:37 my own time zone for a little while.
1:39 Join me, shall you? Current temperature
1:42 at 1:13 p.m.
1:45 90°.
1:47 90°. means in Paris right now where I
1:50 just was, it is 7:00 p.m. 7:13 p.m. And
1:56 it looks like it's going to be only one
1:58 cloud in the sky today around 5 90°.
2:02 It looks like tomorrow is going to be
2:04 warm. I'm only here for 5 days. 5 days
2:06 from today, I will be boarding a plane
2:09 and I will be heading off to LA for an
2:14 undisclosed amount of time. Short while,
2:16 not too long, but not too short. While I
2:18 was gone, some hearsay kind of popped
2:20 out online onto the interwebs and around
2:23 town. Some speculation, some thoughts
2:26 that have not been announced or
2:28 confirmed that the theater might be
2:30 reopening after well over a decade. Has
2:33 it maybe hasn't been 20 years? It's been
2:35 well over a decade though, 12 years, 13
2:37 years. It's been a while that the
2:39 theater has not shown movies, but
2:41 there's a possibility be able to go
2:43 inside the Celebration Movie Theater
2:44 once again. However, what I am hearing
2:47 is not going to be for having films on
2:50 the big screen. It's going to be used
2:52 for something else, which I hope that's
2:54 not the case, but at least we'll be able
2:56 to walk back in there again. They're
2:58 probably going to have to do a heck of a
3:00 lot of of work inside there if they're
3:02 going to have to to redo it. I mean, the
3:04 snack bar is all still there. The
3:05 screens are all still there. So, it'd be
3:07 nice if it opened as a movie theater,
3:09 but word on the street is it will not be
3:13 for showing feature films or classic
3:15 movies or anything like that. But also,
3:16 I was just in Paris staying at the
3:18 Newport Bay Club Resort and right next
3:20 to that on the Lake Buista, their
3:22 version of Lake Buista, there was a New
3:25 York hotel which is now themed to
3:27 Marvel. But the original New York themed
3:30 hotel was built by an architect that
3:33 designed quite a few things for Disney
3:35 and also designed this post office. His
3:37 name was Michael Graves and he designed
3:40 that hotel that I was staying next to in
3:42 Paris at Disneyland Paris. In fact, part
3:45 of that New York hotel looks very
3:47 similar to this. He also he also built
3:50 the Swan and Dolphin and he also built
3:53 the building at the Disney Burbank
3:55 Studios that has the dwarfs holding up
3:57 the ceiling. That was him as well.
3:59 Michael Graves.
4:01 Not only am I back, but humidity is back
4:04 in my life right now. Oo, I'm in the
4:07 shade and I can already feel my pores
4:09 opening and the sweat starting to
4:11 accumulate.
4:13 I like traveling during this time of the
4:14 year because I do not like the heat. why
4:17 I bought a house in Florida.
4:23 It's stability, but yeah, I don't really
4:23 want to be here during the summer. I've
4:24 been doing a little thinking about early
4:26 into next year, 2026. So, 2025, I'm
4:29 doing one new country a month. I'm going
4:31 to be doing through all those. I'm going
4:32 to end up knocking 12 plus England. Add
4:34 the 13. I'm have a baker's dozen worth
4:36 of countries before Christmas time. But
4:38 I think in 2026, I'm going to going to
4:41 kind of slow down on that thought
4:43 process a little bit. And once I get
4:45 that goal of doing one country, one
4:47 country, one new country a month in
4:49 2025,
4:50 next year it's going to be a little bit
4:52 different. Did this thing move yet? I
4:54 don't know if it Let's just Did it move?
4:56 Let's just say it moved. I don't think
4:58 it moved. We got a little construction
5:00 over here. Got the genie out. That used
5:03 to be the walkway. I'd walk up to my
5:05 former apartment. Had the apartment for
5:07 3 years before I ended up purchasing the
5:09 house. Used to park over in this area
5:11 right here. Very familiar parking lot.
5:13 I'm thinking next year during the the
5:15 winter months, January, February, I
5:18 might stay put around Central Florida
5:21 and enjoy the only couple months that
5:24 are, you know, that are nice instead of
5:27 trying to venture off and go to other
5:30 places in other countries. So, January,
5:32 February, I might end up just enjoying
5:34 the coolness of Central Florida in
5:36 celebration. And then I'm thinking
5:38 staying home a little bit more. And then
5:40 when I do travel to other countries, I
5:42 talked about this a little bit
5:42 yesterday, but I'll expand a little bit
5:44 today. When I do travel to other
5:46 countries next year, then I'll I'll
5:47 leave for a month, six weeks, and I'll
5:50 knock out a bunch of countries in one
5:51 patch of the world. Instead of trying to
5:53 do one country a month, I could fly to
5:55 one area that has a lot of countries in
5:56 one little region and then just kind of
5:58 country country hop, bounce around and
6:01 do things. But that's next year. So, I
6:03 digress. We'll get back to 2025.
6:06 And a big part of the reason I like to
6:08 travel non-stop and just always stay
6:10 busy is I just know the reality of life
6:13 and you never know what it's going to
6:14 throw at you later on. Just trying to do
6:18 it while I have the financial means to
6:19 do so and the health aspect. I feel like
6:25 right now I'm
6:27 probably not going to get any healthier
6:29 than I am at the moment. It's all
6:31 downhill from here. So you just never
6:33 know what the future holds.
6:36 So
6:38 utilize what you're given. Utilize your
6:40 blessings
6:42 of time and
6:45 having the the money to go do things
6:49 and health. That's why I just always try
6:52 to stay busy. I go stir crazy.
6:57 I wake up and I want to go do things and
6:58 I want to get on planes and trains and
7:01 automobiles.
7:04 But one day it won't be that way. One
7:06 day I will just say, you know, I think
7:07 I'm done. I think I'm going to take a
7:10 step back, tone it down just a little
7:12 bit. But right now, that's not in the
7:13 cards. Right now I like staying very
7:16 hectic, very busy. My brain functions
7:19 better when I'm almost under a little
7:21 too much stress of always
7:24 go go go. Even on bad days when I have
7:28 things happen that are just
7:30 kind of annoying when it comes to
7:33 traveling in a way it's it's exciting.
7:36 It's almost like when something could
7:38 almost go wrong makes life a little
7:41 exciting. I can also see the the writing
7:43 on the wall the reality if you will now
7:45 that I purchased a house here in town.
7:48 The other channel the Adam the Woo
7:50 channel which was my first channel. This
7:51 kind of overtook that as the main
7:53 channel. At some point, I'm still going
7:55 to do the sitdown video desk podcast
7:59 time of type of thing for that channel,
8:02 but that might be a couple years off.
8:04 But I could really foresee myself years
8:06 from now
8:07 just staying put, being on Mini Marge,
8:11 not even, you know, this might even
8:13 break down. I might have to get another
8:14 one, not even taking my car anywhere,
8:17 popping over to Disney. I could even
8:20 take an Uber over there or a ride share,
8:21 get dropped off, saving me having to
8:23 walk from TTC and all that, get
8:25 something to eat, watch a show, do an
8:27 attraction, watch the fireworks, come
8:29 home. That might be what I end up doing
8:32 later in life on a consistent basis. And
8:37 that might even be what a lot of these
8:39 videos will be about. Now, I try to mix
8:42 it up now, but who knows way down the
8:44 road if the mixing up of the travels
8:47 will be what they are now. So, again,
8:50 trying to make the best of it and just
8:52 do my thing. I have no plans to ever
8:54 stop doing YouTube. I mean, unless the
8:56 platform just completely crumbles in
8:58 every way, shape, or form, which I don't
8:59 see that happening. I feel like it's
9:01 here to stay. I've talked about in the
9:02 past about one day kind of walking away
9:06 from all of it and then I I might take
9:08 some breaks,
9:11 but I don't really see myself ever fully
9:13 quitting.
9:15 It's taken me
9:17 15 years, 16 years of my life to get to
9:19 this point.
9:30 In fact, I believe the Daily Woo started
9:30 on July
9:32 2nd of 2012.
9:44 15 years. 14 years. I just I just
9:44 celebrated a anniversary.
9:49 13 years. 13 years. I can't do the math.
9:51 13 years.
9:53 And then two years before that, I
9:55 uploaded my first video on New Year's
9:57 Eve of 2009. So, let's call it New
9:59 Year's Day. 2010 was when I utilized
10:02 that Adam the Woo channel, which I was
10:04 mentioning, which will eventually be
10:06 where the video podcast ends up on. And
10:08 I'll probably keep using the Daily Woo
10:09 channel for daily Woo type vlogs.
10:12 And then the other channel will be do
10:14 more sitdown type of stuff. So, I might
10:17 have I don't say double the content, but
10:20 I might have more out there.
10:23 The only difference is I probably
10:25 wouldn't be hitting the road as hard.
10:29 I do have an end goal. It may not seem
10:31 like I do, but I do have an eventual end
10:32 goal. It's just a long way off. Doing a
10:36 video podcast, doing some deep dives on
10:38 things, hopping over to the parks,
10:41 filming local events, only Central
10:43 Florida stuff, driving over to the
10:45 coast, assuming the Rays stay in
10:48 Florida. If not, traveling to wherever
10:50 they're playing. That's another thing,
10:51 too. People always ask, "What if the
10:52 Rays were to move? They were to go to
10:53 Jacksonville. If they were moved to
10:54 another state, they were going to be in
10:56 Orlando, which would be my ideal spot
10:59 for them to be. If they stayed in Tampa,
11:01 if they moved back to St. Pete and go to
11:03 the Tropicana Field again, I'm always
11:05 going to support them and always going
11:06 to be going to their games, watching
11:07 them on TV.
11:10 But I could I would be perfectly content
11:12 later in life to just be a season ticket
11:15 holder for the Rays if they're local.
11:17 Hopping over to the coast, watching them
11:18 there, get in a hotel, going to a bunch
11:20 of games, seeing them here in Orlando,
11:21 going wherever they are, watching them
11:23 on TV. Be better just to probably stay
11:26 put, watch them on TV, go to see them if
11:28 they were the Orlando race or over to
11:30 Tampa. Occasionally
11:33 you just see myself watching baseball,
11:35 popping over the parks, doing local
11:37 events, and doing deep dives in a video
11:40 podcast type of thing. I'll be perfectly
11:42 happy with that.
11:44 Just thinking out loud. I' I've said too
11:46 I'm not going to talk about it anymore,
11:47 but yeah, it's just been popping in my
11:49 head the last few days. was re recently
11:51 talking to a buddy of mine who helped
11:53 start and is part of an intricral
11:56 podcast that has become really
11:59 successful.
12:01 And he was telling me, you know, just
12:03 through us messaging back and forth that
12:06 he thinks I'm doing a little too much.
12:08 And I agree. I think I think maybe I
12:10 spin my wheels a little too hard,
12:18 but I like it. in case if you're going
12:18 stir racing, pop inside the 192
12:20 Celebration Publix. There's two there's
12:22 two of them. There's one over on Will
12:23 Drive. I call this one the 192 one cuz
12:25 even though it is in Celebration, it's
12:27 right next to 192. And I'm going to get
12:29 my trusty standby for watching baseball,
12:33 which is usually just a a salad from the
12:35 deli area, some cottage cheese, some
12:38 chickpeas, and maybe one or two other
12:40 items, and I'll eat them later when the
12:42 game starts. It's wild when you're like
12:44 traveling and doing other things and
12:46 you're watching a game on my phone. I'm
12:48 like, man, it'd be nice if I was home
12:49 watching on TV, eating my chickpeas and
12:52 my cottage cheese. So, that's what I did
12:55 my first day back. That's just what I
12:56 wanted to do. And then tomorrow, I'm
12:58 going to go out outside the celebration
12:59 bubble and do some do some other Central
13:01 Florida stuff. But today, a relaxing day
13:03 with chickpeas, cottage cheese, and some
13:05 raised baseball later. I don't know if
13:07 this is really propane cuz if this was
13:09 if this was really propane in there and
13:11 it really was a ninja, you wouldn't see
13:13 it. That's like a a failed ninja. If you
13:17 know the propane's there, that is not a
13:19 true propane ninja. You wouldn't even
13:21 see the propane,
13:24 right?
13:26 I got to rewatch Beverly Hills Ninja
13:28 with Chris Farley and Chris Rock.
13:32 >> A lot of people didn't like that movie,
13:33 but I really liked it.
13:36 Beverly Hills ninja. What about Beverly
13:38 Hills Chihuahua? That's another one I
13:40 haven't seen in a long time. Why do I
13:41 have Beverly Hills in my brain? I
13:42 usually get one of these prepacked
13:44 salads down here. I always try to find
13:45 the one where the lettuce is definitely
13:48 fresher than some of the other ones. And
13:50 then I get the Crunch Masters. Again,
13:52 this is part for the course when I'm
13:53 home. And then I get the classic hummus
13:56 right there. Then I add the chickpeas
13:58 onto it. Usually if I am home, which is
14:00 rare, one week a month I'm home. Usually
14:03 I would say 3 days out of that week I'm
14:05 getting this meal from either or Publix.
14:08 Shout out to Publix. My one of my it
14:10 actually it was my first job other than
14:11 mowing lawns and you follow Oklahoma
14:13 under the table for people in the
14:15 neighborhood. But it was my the first
14:16 job I ever had was a Publix 1991 in St.
14:19 Cloud, Florida. That's my first uh first
14:21 retail job where I punched the time
14:22 clock. I'm going to get my trusty can of
14:24 chickpeas, the Goya garbanzos right
14:27 there. I have never had a Goya great
14:30 northern beans. Judius. Oh, looks like
14:33 Cake Cod chips. Has some some new new
14:37 chips here. Look at these sea salt Cape
14:40 Cod Waves. They are great for dipping.
14:42 40% less fat. Nothing added. I think I'm
14:46 going to get maybe I'll get They got
14:47 Cape Cods. Why not? You only live once.
14:51 They got the BOGO going on on the
14:53 cottage cheese. Breakstones cottage
14:55 cheese. Buy one get one for those in the
14:58 know. BOGO. BOGO. Buy one get one. You
15:02 understand? Well, this looks pretty
15:02 good. Life magazine has
15:05 little Superman edition here. 1978. The
15:10 Daughter one. My favorite. Chris Reeve.
15:14 I think I might get that. The Man of
15:17 Steel soarses again. I'm going to get
15:20 this. I'm going to get this. Maybe some
15:22 gummy bears. How about some gummy bears?
15:25 There you go. Superman approved. All
15:28 right, back to my golf cart. I just had
15:30 quite the quite the moment. I know. I
15:33 spent a long time over in England and
15:36 the Netherlands and France when I got
15:39 this electrolyte Gatorade
15:41 rapid rehydration. And I went to unscrew
15:44 the top and the top popped off. And I
15:47 was like, whoa, that's supposed to be
15:48 staying on there. Now, when I first went
15:51 over to the UK and the top went like
15:53 this and it stayed on, it's it stays
15:55 attached. I was like, "Oh, that's
15:57 annoying." Like, why doesn't it come
15:59 off? But now, I prefer the versions over
16:02 there where the top stays on. Less
16:04 litter. I think they got something
16:06 figured out there on the other side of
16:07 the world. Also, keep in mind all the
16:10 future plans that I was talking about a
16:12 little bit ago. They might not come to
16:14 fruition for another 5 years. I mean,
16:16 this isn't something that's going to
16:17 happen next week, but eventually
16:24 leaf blower.
16:24 Looking for gators.
16:30 See any gators in here next to the golf
16:30 course.
16:36 Sometimes there's a couple, but they're
16:36 being shy today. They're submerged.
16:45 Yeah, I do a lot of thinking out loud.
16:45 If you haven't noticed,
16:51 especially when I get back from trips, I
16:51 have things on my mind.
16:54 Really enjoyed this last trip. It was a
16:56 good time. 3 weeks being gone anywhere
16:59 from home is a little much. I'd like to
17:03 shorten that into next year as well. But
17:05 this year, staying the course, it is a
17:07 hectic. It is like full throttle now
17:11 until the end of the year.
17:14 I mean, it's kind of always like that,
17:15 but I think it's going to be more hectic
17:17 now than it has been the first half of
17:19 the year.
17:26 A lot of travels, a lot of fun, but no
17:26 gators. I didn't see any gators in
17:27 there. Speaking of the new Superman film
17:29 that comes out technically tomorrow, but
17:31 it's playing at Disney Springs. I was
17:33 thinking about going and see it this
17:34 evening because I really love Superman.
17:37 My favorite superhero. Love DC comics.
17:40 Batman. Superman. Superman a little bit
17:43 more than Batman, but love Batman as
17:44 well. But I don't really feel like going
17:46 over to Springs tonight and dealing with
17:48 the hustle and bustle there. But I do
17:50 want to see the new one. Even though
17:52 original 78 Richard Donner, that one's
17:55 hard to touch. But I saw the trailer for
17:56 the new one. It looks pretty good. But I
17:58 will not be seeing it tonight. But
18:00 hopefully before I leave to go to SoCal
18:02 in the next 5 days, I'll go see the new
18:04 one.
18:06 But this guy,
18:08 come on. That's Superman. Here's an
18:11 update on my magnets from the other
18:13 countries. So, so far I've gone to seven
18:15 countries in six months.
18:18 England I kind of threw in there in
18:20 January and this month as well. So, I
18:23 started off with Bise. That was the
18:25 first country I went to. Then I went to
18:28 England at the end of January. Then in
18:31 February I went to Ecuador. I did two
18:33 weeks in Ecuador. Got some magnets, had
18:36 some experiences. Then I went to Canada.
18:41 I spent some time what 10 days or so in
18:43 Vancouver. Canada. Where did I go after
18:46 that? Oh, I went to South Korea. After
18:50 that that would have been let's see
18:53 January would have been Biz
18:57 Ecuador
19:00 February
19:02 March Canada April
19:06 South Korea
19:08 May
19:10 where did I go in May?
19:13 Yeah. Where did I go in May? Oh, Mexico
19:16 city. July I went to France. So that's
19:19 it. It's easy to forget things when you
19:21 just constantly go go go. So it's good
19:23 to have souvenirs, things like that.
19:25 Have the videos out and go back one day
19:26 and look at those.
19:29 So that's that's uh so far this is my
19:32 international magnet cabinet wall. And
19:36 then I got my Disney wall
19:38 and then my
19:40 US magnets over here.
19:49 I do have some theme parky stuff. For
19:50 example, I have Phantom Manor right
19:53 here. Not Mortime Manor. That's at
19:54 Oldtown. I got confused and I called it
19:56 the first day Mort Manor. But Phantom
19:58 Manor, even though that's a Disney, it
20:00 is International. So, I have it wedged
20:03 on there. It's interesting, too. I only
20:05 purchased one magnet from the Disney
20:07 parks. I got some other souvenirs, but
20:08 only the one magnet. I really loved
20:10 Phantom Manor.
20:13 I have a tea kettle arriving today too
20:15 off Amazon. Also, before leaving town, I
20:17 need to take this over to my storage
20:18 unit. And I also need to go and look
20:20 around
20:22 at some Halloween decorations that are
20:26 now at some of the local stores. So, I
20:28 need to do that before leaving and going
20:30 to SoCal. Put this in the storage unit
20:32 with all along with all the other ones.
20:34 I've already moved over there. Purchase
20:36 some new stuff. Look at some of the
20:37 stores. So, I might take a day and do
20:39 some Halloween shopping before leaving
20:41 to go to SoCal in 5 days, give or take a
20:44 day. Can also say I'm the proud owner of
20:46 a leaf blower. I purchased a leaf blower
20:49 with the batteries over there just to
20:50 like blow the porch off, blow the garage
20:52 out, do whatever. Makes things easy. And
20:55 I wanted to be part of the leaf blower
20:57 club. So, I ended up laying down on the
20:59 couch over there. Turn the lights off.
21:01 Well, I have the light behind me on now,
21:02 but turned the living room light off,
21:05 laid down on the couch. Two hours later,
21:08 I wake up thinking, where am I? Was kind
21:11 of hard to comprehend comprehend that I
21:13 was back in Florida. I was thinking I
21:15 was either still in Paris or Amsterdam
21:17 or somewhere. Got a nice little power
21:19 catnap, a lengthy power catnap. And my
21:23 tea kettle has now arrived. Pretty
21:26 excited about this. I do drink a lot of
21:28 coffee, but I feel like sometimes during
21:30 the day, I don't really want another
21:31 coffee. coffee. I usually drink one
21:32 coffee in the morning, pretty large
21:35 coffee, and then later in the early
21:37 afternoon, I'll have another one
21:38 sometimes. But sometimes I just drink
21:40 the one when I'm out and about. But it's
21:43 usually the venti. It's usually a bigger
21:45 coffee. But sometimes I I want something
21:47 other than coffee throughout the day.
21:49 Last time I was in England, I had quite
21:51 a bit of tea. Most of the hotels there
21:54 have tea kettles.
21:57 So, I kind of got my first taste of a
22:00 how easy it is to use a tea kettle. So,
22:03 I ordered one and I just unboxed it and
22:06 I ordered some little starter pack of
22:09 Twinnings tea. Now, I've had the green
22:11 tea before. I've had the English
22:13 breakfast before, which I really like.
22:15 These are a few of the other ones that
22:16 are kind of just mixed in. a nice little
22:20 little mixture that I could see which
22:22 ones I like. I know I like English
22:23 breakfast, but there's a bunch of
22:25 different ones in here. There's a chai
22:26 tea. It's a pure peppermint
22:29 green tea,
22:31 Earl Gray. The brand name is Chefman.
22:36 Boils faster. Let me hook this thing up
22:38 and see see if I can have a late
22:42 evening. Well, it's 7:20 right now. Rays
22:45 games on. As at the moment, they're
22:47 winning two to one over the Red Sox.
22:51 So, we'll see how I think it's the sixth
22:53 inning right now. Make some tea, finish
22:55 off the game, and then eat my salad and
22:58 stuff a little bit later. And I found a
22:59 good spot over here next to my curig.
23:03 And then I got the kettle all set up. It
23:05 is a plugin to the wall type of unit.
23:08 And it looks like there's different
23:09 temperatures that you can choose. So,
23:11 let me just turn this on. It's lighting
23:14 up red.
23:16 Let's see. Temperature. Let's go with
23:18 the 200
23:24 right there. Now, what do I do to turn
23:24 it on?
23:26 No, that's not it.
23:36 Okay.
23:36 Might have to
23:38 check the info card here on the
23:43 Chefman.
23:53 maybe it takes a minute to warm up. Oh,
23:53 you know, there it goes. Oh, it's
23:56 boiled. Okay. It's not as fast as some
23:57 of the kettles that are in the hotel
23:59 rooms. Some of those you just turn it
24:02 on, hit the button, and it's like
24:05 out of nowhere.
24:07 Let me grab the info. Let me grab the
24:09 info card. All right. But according to
24:10 this, the different colors. The one I
24:12 have it on
24:14 right now is purple,
24:17 which is a coffee flavored, so I don't
24:18 need it that hot. I guess
24:28 we go. We'll go with the full heat.
24:28 Features and presets,
24:30 temperature presets, power button.
24:34 There's also you can also put your tea
24:37 in this little tube thing right here. I
24:40 think I'd just rather have the water and
24:42 then throw the tea bag in there.
24:48 Fill the kettle to at least
24:48 the minimum line. Okay, I'm above the
24:50 minimum line.
24:53 Place water in it. Place the kettle
24:55 securely on the base and plug in. Put
24:58 the lid on with the infuser attached.
25:01 Press the power button. Cattle will
25:02 default. kettle will default. Press the
25:05 temperature. Once the desired
25:07 temperature preset is selected, the
25:09 water will automatically
25:11 begin heating and then you can use the
25:13 infuser and all that. Step three,
25:17 steep
25:19 according to directions as you like.
25:21 Typically for an average of 4 minutes.
25:23 When finished steeping, that's the
25:25 cooking.
25:26 Lift the kettle off its base to serve.
25:29 So, this is not as fast as some of the
25:31 ones that were in the hotel rooms, but
25:34 yeah, three or four minutes pretty
25:35 pretty quick to to boil some water
25:37 without having to use the the stove top.
25:39 There are a few different English
25:40 breakfast blends. You got the
25:43 decaffeinated, you got extra strong, and
25:45 you got the regular. So, it looks like
25:47 all these packets are just one of each.
25:49 That's how many different ones there
25:50 are. Sure, as time goes on, I'll
25:53 probably just find the ones I like and
25:55 just stock up on those. I think Epcot
25:57 sells these. Also, it' be kind of neat
25:59 to buy some twinnings from the tea shop
26:01 at Epcot. Need to get back over to the
26:04 Disney parks while I'm here as well.
26:06 Yesterday, I was doing my flight video.
26:08 I was in the the Air France lounge. I
26:11 was talking about how I ordered a tea
26:13 kettle. It was going to be here when I
26:14 got home. And I put the water in first
26:16 and then I put the tea bag in. And
26:19 people quickly corrected me that that is
26:21 not the correct and appropriate way to
26:25 make tea. You put the tea in first or
26:28 you put the bag
26:30 in first, then you put the water on like
26:33 that.
26:34 A proper cup of tea, if you will.
26:38 There you go.
26:42 I got my Walt Disney Studios park mug,
26:46 which made the commute home.
26:49 Let that Let that steeped water
26:53 in the kettle.
26:56 Pour it in there with the bag. Got my
26:59 new mug. Got all my mugs over here. I
27:02 got a couple in the strainer as well. I
27:03 got a lot of a lot of mugs. I guess
27:05 they're coffee mugs, but now they could
27:06 be tea mugs. I'm not going to stop
27:08 drinking coffee, but you know,
27:10 throughout the course of the day after
27:11 I've had too much coffee, I could have
27:14 some tea. I could have a spot of tea.
27:17 Look at that. It's already starting to
27:19 tee itself up. Well, the Rays blew it a
27:22 little put the bullpin in I think the
27:24 seventh or the eighth inning. Gave away
27:25 a few runs. They were doing well. Had
27:28 the bats, hit some home runs, two home
27:30 runs into the over the green monster and
27:34 then they put the bullpin in and blew
27:36 it. So, not going to make it to the
27:38 postseason and not going to make it deep
27:40 in the postseason unless the Rays can
27:42 fix their bullpen problems. Offense
27:44 doing good. Lots of bats, but yeah, the
27:50 pitching in the seventh, eighth, and
27:51 ninth inning definitely the issue. But
27:55 that game's out of the way. Carrying on.
27:58 Also, I was speaking earlier about the
28:00 eventual podcast type of video podcast
28:03 room, deep dive type of things,
28:06 interview room, just talking about
28:08 things, going down a rabbit hole, more
28:11 specifically, showing some things in
28:14 greater detail than being out and about,
28:17 more of a desk style video podcast for
28:21 the future.
28:22 This is the room that will probably
28:24 happen in. Right now it is, you know,
28:27 dressed in a different fashion. And I'm
28:30 still kind of working on this room. This
28:31 is probably the most unfinished room in
28:33 my home, but I have the cabinet here,
28:36 which reminds me of the cabinet from
28:38 Beauty and the Beast. This was left over
28:39 from the previous owner of the house. It
28:41 was in the garage. One of the few things
28:43 they left when I bought the house, and I
28:45 was going to get rid of it, and then I
28:47 realized this room was pretty empty for
28:48 now. So, I have my old couch from my
28:51 apartment when I lived on Market Street,
28:53 which is very, very heavy. It's like one
28:55 of those ones you plug into the wall,
28:57 and each side of this will open like
29:01 each side will open up so you can have
29:03 like a footrest on it. And this is uh
29:06 this is probably the most heaviest piece
29:07 of furniture that exists. So, it's in
29:10 here in this room.
29:12 And then I got the Route 66 sign up on
29:15 the wall there that my buddy Dune Buggy
29:17 Jim gave me.
29:19 He had it in his place and he didn't
29:21 have room for it. So I was like, I'll
29:23 take it. So I got it in here. So this is
29:25 kind of the unfinished room, but
29:27 eventually this room will be rethemed,
29:29 but for now, again, it might take a few
29:30 years before I kind of go into that
29:33 project.
29:34 And I just Today was kind of a thinking
29:36 out loud day with what the future holds.
29:39 I'll be 51 in August. On August 10th,
29:43 I'll be 51 coming up very soon. And it's
29:45 hard to believe it's almost been a year
29:46 since my 50th.
29:49 And who knows, three or four or five
29:50 years from now. Things could be a little
29:52 different as far as how much traveling
29:54 I'm doing and stuff, but still stay in
29:57 the course. Still still constantly
29:59 traveling and doing things and living
30:02 life and seeing new things, having
30:04 different experiences.
30:06 But you never know, you never know what
30:07 the future holds. You always got to
30:10 utilize what you're given at any current
30:12 time. So that's why that's why I'm
30:14 always doing stuff now. But I also have
30:16 eyes towards the future.
30:19 And that's why one of the reasons I
30:21 bought this house, just to get it dialed
30:22 in, because you never know what could
30:24 unfold. I don't even know why I'm even
30:26 saying this because nothing's nothing is
30:28 happening. There's nothing dramatic
30:30 that's going down or anything like that.
30:31 But I just wanted to have a place to to
30:34 lay my head that was paid for. Wasn't
30:36 going to get evicted. You know, if crap
30:39 ever hits the fan or life changes, you
30:42 always want to have a a spot to lay your
30:45 head and have a roof over your roof over
30:47 your head and and you know, four walls
30:50 and things like that. So, it's good to
30:53 plan for the future, but also stay busy
30:56 in the current days. I have decided to
30:58 throw a James Bond Roger Moore classic.
31:01 Believe this came out in the mid 80s, 85
31:05 right here according to the screen. So,
31:06 I've rented it, streamed it. View to a
31:10 Kill. Roger Moore. I believe his last
31:13 appearance as James Bond. And I haven't
31:15 watched this probably since the late 80s
31:18 back in the VHS video store days when my
31:20 family and I would rent movies.
31:22 Living in Niceville, Florida. I believe
31:24 my dad rented this and we watched it. I
31:26 don't think I've seen it since then.
31:27 I've seen a lot of James Bond stuff. My
31:29 personal favorite James Bond is Shan
31:31 Connory, but I think close second would
31:33 be Roger Moore.
31:35 I don't know. Sometimes Roger Moore
31:37 overtakes
31:39 Connory, but I feel like Connor is the
31:40 the number one. My friend Greg from
31:43 Greg's Game Room, when I was in Paris,
31:46 when I went up with the Eiffel Tower, I
31:47 was mentioning how, you know, European
31:49 Vacation and other films use the Eiffel
31:51 Tower. Hundreds of movies have used the
31:53 Eiffel Tower. And he was like, "Oh, you
31:55 should give View to Kill a rewatch." Or
31:58 I'm paraphrasing what he said, but he
32:00 mentioned he mentioned this film. So,
32:03 I'm going to settle down from the raised
32:05 loss, the the bullpin blowing the
32:08 bullpin blowing it, and I'm going to I'm
32:10 going to watch this into the into the
32:12 evening and eat my eat my Publix.
32:15 Oh, also, I want to go up to the
32:16 corridor goons and show you a couple
32:18 things. So, I got the teac kettle that
32:19 arrived, but I've also got a corkboard,
32:21 a pin board that I'm probably going to
32:23 put either down there or maybe behind
32:26 this door here
32:28 at some point because I'm running out of
32:30 space over on these Disney pin boards.
32:34 And I feel like I need a little bit more
32:36 room, especially for all my Mickey pens.
32:39 So, I've added in some of the new ones
32:42 I've gotten. I got the Disneyland Paris
32:44 pen down there. And then all the all
32:46 this area here, all my Mickey pens. You
32:49 can see I'm running out of room. I think
32:51 I might buy a couple of the the pin
32:54 books that they have at Magic Kingdom or
32:56 Epcot or any any of the park studios,
32:59 Animal Kingdom. They probably even have
33:01 them at Disneyland. They have these pin
33:03 books that are really really nice for
33:06 ones that I don't want to have on
33:07 display. But I think I'm going to give
33:09 Mickey his own his own pin board.
33:13 Maybe my Mickey pens could go over there
33:14 in the in the corner or behind the door
33:16 or somewhere. But then I might take a
33:20 few of these. I've also got some in some
33:22 bags down here that aren't on display
33:25 that I could put in those books just to
33:28 have cuz sometimes I don't buy pens just
33:31 because I don't have room for them. But
33:32 there's some pens I just I feel like I
33:34 need to have that way I can just keep
33:36 the collection going. So, you might see
33:40 in the next day or so a rearranging of
33:43 these. But yeah, I got Mickey here on
33:45 the with the Eiffel Tower
33:48 right there. I wonder what his favorite
33:49 James Bond is.
33:52 His might be Timothy Dalton. I don't
33:53 know. Mickey's might be Timothy Dalton.
33:55 I like Dalton
33:57 as well. So, I got a few new ones. I got
33:58 the Phantom Manor
34:01 right there. Stitch. Stitch almost needs
34:03 his own section as well.
34:05 So, basically, I have these organized.
34:07 Like, I got some Disney resorts up
34:08 there. I got some D23s. I got some real
34:11 classic ones up there, like the paper
34:13 fastpass ones. Great movie ride, MGM
34:16 Studios era, five-legged goat
34:20 right there. All my May the 4th pens. I
34:23 wasn't able to get a 2025 May the 4th,
34:26 which is kind of a bummer. They were
34:27 sold out. So, I'm on the hunt for that
34:30 at some point to get a 2025 one.
34:35 similar to that. Maybe I'll find one on
34:37 a pen trading board or something or I
34:39 mean worst case I could always go on
34:41 eBay or something. But
34:44 yeah, I like this one too. So I got all
34:46 my Mickey's in the one area. Got
34:49 Salacious down here. This is definitely
34:51 my my nerd room, I call it. Got all my
34:54 retro stuff. Got the old large Marge
34:59 license plate I had on my RV. I need
35:02 like a Mini Marge sticker for the front
35:04 of Mini Marge. Kind of like that be kind
35:08 of neat. I can't put a I don't know if I
35:09 have room for a license plate on the
35:10 front of Mini Marge, but I do have a
35:13 license plate on the back. It has to be
35:14 tagged and registered when you have a
35:17 have a golf cart here in Celebration.
35:19 So, got to do things the right way or
35:21 the HOA will be not happy with you.
35:25 Man, it's hard to believe.
35:28 It's been 10 years since the 60th, the
35:30 greatest Disney year of my life at
35:33 Disney parks.
35:35 This is definitely my a good little
35:38 a good little room full of nostalgia.
35:42 I've definitely come to the realization
35:43 I mean, it's been pretty obvious. I
35:45 definitely come to the realization in
35:46 the last year or so that I get most
35:49 excited about nostalgia. Like for me, I
35:52 have to have nostalgia. I think one of
35:54 the reasons I had so much fun at
35:56 Disneyland Paris was because of the
35:58 nostalgic element of some of those
36:00 attractions from what I remember from
36:02 Magic Kingdom and Disneyland and MGM
36:04 Studios.
36:06 I don't get as excited about places
36:08 where I see things that are completely
36:10 new. takes me a little while to brush
36:13 away the newness and build up a little
36:16 nostalgia for something even in, you
36:19 know, it's just I definitely focus on
36:22 the past a little too much. But that's
36:25 just how I am.
36:27 That's just how I am. That's that's the
36:29 things I get the most excited about.
36:32 It's like a it's a mental thing. And
36:35 there's there's a few other people that
36:37 I know are kind of that way, too.
36:46 Dragon Con carpet. If you know, you
36:46 know. Old school Dragon Con carpet.
36:49 That's That's from the Marriott
36:52 right there.
36:55 All right. Anyway, I'm going to go
36:56 prepare my meal. I'm eating a little too
36:58 late, but get my chickpeas, salad, etc.,
37:04 and go from there. Turn this light off.
37:08 Woo. Abraham Lincoln here. And that's
37:11 going to do it for today. Yeah, I do
37:13 want to see the new Superman at some
37:15 point.
37:16 I do want to see the new Superman. Just
37:18 didn't get around. Didn't get didn't
37:19 really feel like going over to Springs
37:20 today. But I'll see you in the next
37:22 video. Thanks for watching. The vlog
