0:03 Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here as
0:03 the recording of this. It is Wednesday,
0:05 May 28,
0:06 2025. Put my sunglasses on momentarily
0:09 after the intro. Let me get over here in
0:11 the shade. It is toasty, warm, and hot.
0:14 And yes, I am the unusual one that
0:16 drinks a piping hot caffeinated beverage
0:18 when Florida is full of heat. Look at
0:21 this. Look at these
0:23 clouds. Very beautiful cumulan nimbus.
0:26 I'm not a weatherman. Also, do you know
0:29 Pat Sjack? He just retired recently from
0:31 Wheel of Fortune. He started off as a
0:33 weatherman. He would probably know more
0:36 about clouds. Pat Sjack and how to spell
0:39 things more than the average person,
0:42 including myself. I'm going to do a
0:44 little thrift shopping today. Maybe some
0:45 record shopping, maybe some vintage
0:48 shopping. Going to meet up with a buddy,
0:49 go over to his place. He might drive
0:52 after I get there. I might take my car
0:54 once I get there. Going to take my
0:56 vehicle over to his spot. And then we're
0:58 just going to have a
1:00 day unplanned thrift shopping
1:14 day or maybe some antiquing and record
1:14 shopping. Join
1:23 me. I'm inviting you. Ah, yes. I4
1:23 eastbound always gets pretty congested
1:25 around 5:35.
1:27 Once they complete the road work up
1:29 here, and who knows how long, 5 years, 3
1:31 years, 10 years, in eternity, this will
1:34 clear up a little bit. Once they get the
1:37 road conditions near where the former
1:38 crossroads used to be fixed in Disney
1:41 Springs, this will smooth up a little
1:42 bit, but it might take a while. So, for
1:45 now, this little area pretty congested.
1:47 After this area though, it smooths up
1:49 sometimes. Yeah. All this through here,
1:52 they are completely redoing. Crossroads
1:55 was a little shopping area. The
1:57 outskirts of what used to be Downtown
1:59 Disney, now Disney
2:01 Springs. They tore down all the
2:03 buildings and now they're making a bunch
2:04 of real crossroads, roads that cross
2:08 over, underpasses, overpasses, etc. on
2:11 the other side of this road. Once that's
2:14 completed, once that's completed, it'll
2:15 really smooth up the traffic in this
2:19 area. Used to be a soup plantation,
2:21 sweet tomatoes over there, a miniature
2:23 golf course. a Goodings grocery store.
2:26 All right, I've switched
2:32 vehicles. Drove down Highway 50,
2:32 Colonial Drive through Pine Hills and
2:34 right on the Orlando line, the Salvation
2:39 Army. Jim is here. Jim is here. You
2:43 know, it's a good thing it's Wednesday
2:44 cuz I just saw the sign over here that
2:46 Wednesday the entire store is 25% off.
2:49 25% off. Yep. Look at that.
2:52 25% off every Wednesday. We timed this
2:55 right. Family
2:57 store. Salvation Army family store.
3:00 Still looking for some wall art. Kind of
3:04 perusing around through some of the wall
3:05 art stuff. Still need some stuff for my
3:07 for my home just to kind of make it a
3:09 little more livedin looking. You know,
3:12 some of the walls are we say they're
3:14 barren, but they're a little kind of
3:15 empty. So, always always perusing around
3:17 a lot of vintage shops for wall art. And
3:19 this is no exception. Nothing's really
3:22 kind of jumping out at me, but there are
3:23 kind of a couple unique items when it
3:25 comes to the wall. These are also very
3:27 interesting. They're little like paper
3:28 weights that go on the side of an end
3:30 table, but they are keys. Look at this.
3:33 You can see there's the key there. It's
3:35 only four
3:36 bucks. They're two keys. I guess maybe
3:38 these are like bookends perhaps. That's
3:41 kind of kind of interesting.
3:44 Brick and Brack is the that's the
3:46 category it's titled underneath. They
3:50 have a lot more furniture. I've never
3:51 been in this particular Salvation Army.
3:53 Also, I heard Salvation Army. It's
3:55 either Goodwill or Salvation Army. One
3:56 of the two does not charge sales tax cuz
3:59 I believe they're affiliated with the
4:00 church. I'm going to say it's
4:03 probably Salvation Army. So, if you
4:05 spend 99 cents on something, it's just
4:07 99 cents. It's not $16. It's not $1.7
4:09 with the taxi. Coffee mugs over here.
4:13 Today is a chocolate kind
4:15 today. Look at these old slurpies. What
4:17 is this? A slurpee and a whoopy cushion.
4:19 Oh, no. It's a slurpee and a inflatable
4:21 palm tree. Get a three-wheel bike right
4:24 here if I so choose. Some tennis
4:27 rackets. Baseball
4:29 gloves as well.
4:31 Shoes. A lot of caps over through here.
4:35 Oh, there's a pair of Chucks. Chuck
4:37 Taylor's. Used to wear Chucks all the
4:39 time, but now my feet. These are
4:41 $7.99. My feet uh don't do well in
4:44 Chucks like they used to when I was
4:45 younger. Here's some bowling shoes.
4:48 Those are bowling shoes. Some socks.
4:50 Clothing. Looking for some records and
4:52 VHS. There's a bunch of ties, though.
4:55 $1.99 for some
4:58 ties. It' be a good Fourth of July
5:00 tie. Yeah.
5:06 Yeah. No
5:06 records or no VHS. Weird enough to see
5:08 VHS's. I like this. Just completely
5:11 random fish photo right here. Look at
5:14 this. $3.99. You can just get this photo
5:16 of a fish in a frame right
5:19 there. Look, they're rearranging the
5:21 wall art section. Right. I got this $20.
5:24 I don't know what I'm going to use it
5:26 for, but $20. And with the 25% discount
5:29 be 15 right here. And just to make sure
5:31 we don't run off with the cart, there's
5:34 this here. It's like right here. I don't
5:36 think this will go out the door perhaps.
5:38 Or if you do run off with the cart,
5:41 they'll know where to find you. They'll
5:42 see you running down Colonial with this
5:44 right here, which acts as a lightning
5:46 rod. And so in Florida, this would not
5:48 be the smartest thing. I mean, I had an
5:51 umbrella the other day in my hand, but I
5:52 think this is probably worse than
5:53 holding an umbrella. Look at this
5:56 thing. Let's grip onto that bad boy.
6:00 Here's your tool to tighten it up. Oh,
6:03 yeah. He's ready. Yeah, we're out. Thank
6:06 you.
6:09 Sales are final and as is. So, if you
6:11 were to buy this huge box down here that
6:13 looks like the Hellraiser box, you
6:15 cannot bring it back.
6:17 Test it out. See if we can get out the
6:20 door here. Hold that door open. Let's
6:22 see if we can get out here. See what
6:24 happens. Oh, no. No. It's going to hit
6:26 it. It's going to hit it.
6:29 Can't take it out to the
6:31 car. That's what it is. It's taller. The
6:34 pole is taller than the door. All right,
6:36 we turned off of Colonial onto
6:38 OBT. Teal called Orange Blossom Trail,
6:41 but all the locals call it OBT. This
6:43 train is not moving. Just appears to be
6:45 moving as we're driving along parallel
6:48 next to
6:50 it. Sounds like it's on or something's
6:52 making noise over there. Cruising down
6:55 OBT. Going over to another thrift store
6:57 I never been over been to before. Thrift
7:00 stores just kind of pop up and close and
7:02 pop up and
7:08 close. This is what I'm talking about.
7:08 Look at
7:09 this. All the furniture out front. This
7:12 is called Eagle-Eye. Eagle-eye Thrift
7:16 Store on Orange Blossom
7:18 Trail. Uh pretty close
7:22 to Fairville Mega Store.
7:31 I always like you ever never could have
7:31 too many of these type of things. Just
7:34 little little stools and whatnot. Bed
7:37 frame. Here's a file cabinet over here.
7:39 It's a weight weight bench. That's
7:41 pretty good. It's a body
7:48 champ. That's better than the one I
7:48 have. Well, maybe
7:56 not. Yeah. Eagle Eagle Eye Thrift
7:56 Store. Check it out inside. This looks
7:59 like it's been open for a long time. I
8:00 love this artwork right here. Eagle Eye
8:03 Thrift Store. Never been in here. Your
8:05 camera's looking at our camera. Oh,
8:07 yeah. There's a camera right there
8:08 watching us. Feel like there's going to
8:10 be some good stuff in
8:12 here. Just a just a hunch. What is this
8:16 footrest? Is that what that is?
8:19 Yeah. Put that in front of your chair.
8:22 Foot rest. That's different. Here we go.
8:24 Here's some
8:26 vinyl right here. Oh, wow. Look at this.
8:29 There's a laser disc. George C. Scott,
8:31 the formula
8:33 brando. Wait, no, that's not a laser
8:36 disc. That's a What do you call that
8:38 thing? This like cartridge style right
8:39 here. What is that? What exactly is Oh,
8:43 it's called a video disc. Not a laser
8:46 disc. It's almost like a floppy disc.
8:48 It's like a huge floppy disc. All right.
8:50 We got a couple different aisles down
8:52 through here as well. Here's a battery
8:54 iggloo cooler. Those some artwork kind
8:57 of places you never know what you're
8:59 going to find as you're just kind of
9:01 strolling through the
9:02 aisles. We got an oven there, some
9:05 speakers, pots and
9:09 pans. This place has been around for a
9:11 while. I didn't even realize it existed.
9:14 Never know. You can live somewhere for a
9:16 long time and not really know what's in
9:17 certain areas of general area of
9:20 Orlando. This isn't too far from the old
9:23 venue,
9:24 Vis, which is where I first saw
9:26 Fishbone, no Effects, Radio Head, back
9:28 on the Pablo Honey tour, so it's been
9:30 closed, but it's kind of in the same
9:32 general vicinity as
9:33 Vis from Orlando might remember. Some uh
9:37 TV mounts here for a flat screen. Here's
9:41 also some other
9:42 vinyl. Herb Albert
9:49 here. Hello
9:49 bird. Hush. Hush. Hush. Sweet Charlotte.
9:53 Patty Paige. Andy
10:00 Williams. Bach
10:00 Starker. Oh,
10:08 Goule. Is there stuff bag in the
10:08 back? Step back. Didn't look like
10:17 Look at this. They got This is Tom Jones
10:17 here on vinyl in pretty good shape. And
10:18 then also Andy Gibb after Dark also in
10:22 pretty good shape. Just needs a little
10:23 wiping down. No scuffs or anything. Look
10:25 at the He's like emitting lightning from
10:28 his fingers there. I can't imagine these
10:29 being too expensive. So I figure I grab
10:32 a little uh some classics here. Tom
10:35 Jones. This is Tom Jones. Bunch of CDs
10:37 right over there. But it's all kind of
10:38 wedged in. And then over here, tons tons
10:41 of DVDs. Look at all these DVDs over
10:43 here. There is an entire video store
10:47 worth of DVDs through here. And then
10:50 there's CDs right here. A ton of CDs
10:53 there. And then of course all the the
10:56 DVDs. I don't really buy too many DVDs
10:58 anymore. Sometimes Blu-rays, but not
11:01 really in the market for DVDs anymore.
11:02 But there might be some uh there might
11:04 be some good ones in there that could be
11:06 could be uh rare. Also some CDs over
11:08 here. You kind of just scrolling through
11:10 some of the different titles. You got
11:11 Aerosmith Pump right there. A bunch of
11:14 different ones. I do like having there's
11:15 something corporate, Deborah Allen, Hank
11:18 III right up there. There's Hank the
11:20 Hank III as well. You just got and he's
11:24 got this room full of all I mean it's
11:26 just like so much stuff crammed through
11:29 here. Tons of just tons of stuff.
11:31 There's like really nowhere to walk.
11:33 This place is just so full of items. The
11:35 only thing I'm really finding are the
11:37 the records. I'm just kind of buying
11:38 these on a on a whim. Nothing else else
11:41 is really jumping out at me. Oh man,
11:44 they got they got a lot of stuff in
11:45 here. Perfect situp machine. Look at Oh,
11:49 no. It's the whole thing. I thought it
11:50 was kind of like the thigh master, but
11:51 it's this whole thing. The perfect situp
11:54 machine right here.
11:57 Loaded questions. The game
12:00 right down there. Look at this old high
12:03 eight camera. I actually remember this
12:05 era right here. You got the view cam
12:07 high eight with the batteries where you
12:08 put the batteries around there and then
12:10 you put the tape inside of there. Yep.
12:13 Old High8 days. 725 is the address.
12:16 These were a little more than I thought
12:17 they were going to be. Two for five, but
12:20 still cheaper than going to like a
12:21 record store and getting it. Do I need
12:23 Andy Gibb? Do I need Tom Jones? No. But
12:26 you know what? have a little mood music
12:28 at the the house with
12:31 these whole area has
12:34 really really been fixed up since the
12:37 last time I was down in this section.
12:38 This is called the packing district and
12:41 this little foxtail building. You can
12:44 see the old very vintage signage
12:48 there. The Dr. P. Phillips orange juice
12:51 fountain which once stood on the
12:53 northwest corner of Orange Blossom Trail
12:55 in Princeton welcome visitors from all
12:58 over from the north to Orlando I should
13:00 say. All you can drink fresh OJ was
13:04 poured for 10 cents out of this
13:06 building. There's an artistic rendering
13:08 here of the building itself. So this
13:11 wasn't the original spot but they turned
13:13 it into a coffee shop over here.
13:28 neat. Right after a quick look at the
13:28 street signs, it was not moved even
13:30 though the sign says it once stood on
13:33 Princeton and OBT. This, in fact, is the
13:36 corner of Princeton and
13:38 OBT. All these are new since, you know,
13:42 back in the day when I used to go to
13:43 concerts in this area and play in a
13:44 band. We had a up the road storage unit
13:47 like a few miles up the road. We used to
13:49 rent a storage unit on the flat level
13:50 and a lot of Orlando local bands would
13:52 rent those storage unit and the owner
13:54 would let the bands practice there. So,
13:56 we had a practice space. This area has
14:00 definitely definitely been fixed up a
14:02 lot since then. There's the packing
14:04 plant sign from the from the other
14:09 angle. Stepped inside. Take a look at
14:11 the roof up here. We got the That's kind
14:14 of neat. If you look kind of behind the
14:15 counter there and then you look over
14:16 here at the mural is painted on the
14:18 wall. I really like the uh the inside of
14:20 this place is really really nice. Yeah,
14:22 pretty neat. I'm guessing it was never
14:24 moved. Jim had a good point. He thinks
14:26 that judging by the inside of the
14:29 coloration and the way the the little
14:31 archway is on the inside. It's like an
14:34 upside down juicer. Orange juicer. An
14:37 orange juicer. Look over here. You got
14:39 the got the oranges right there.
14:43 way before the Publix was here
14:52 showing off their cars.
14:52 Hey, that is cool looking.
14:55 And I think the neon up top used to say
14:56 what? Dr. Phillips or something, but now
14:58 they've kind of shrunk it down to
15:00 district.
15:02 It's a great building. Yeah, there's the
15:05 there's the upside down juicer.
15:13 All right, cruising along again. We're
15:13 stopped here at a light, but check out
15:15 the Howard Vernon
15:18 Motel. The old Orlando Arena was
15:21 imploded a block up from here and moved
15:23 over, you know, a mile or so to the new
15:26 place, The Magic Play. But look at the
15:28 HBO sign. They have HBO for free in your
15:34 room. This is here on Orange Blossom
15:36 Trail, 600 West. No, not orange Boston.
15:39 We're on Colonial now. But just just
15:41 past the turnoff of we're back on
15:43 Colonial, but right up here on the
15:46 shores of Lake Dot was where the
15:49 implosion of the original Orlando Arena
15:51 was right over
15:53 there. Fact, all the cameras were set up
15:55 right here. If you ever watch videos of
15:56 the implosion, you can see the Orlando
15:58 Arena where Shaquille O'Neal played his
16:01 first couple years with the Magic right
16:02 over there. Now it's gone. All right,
16:04 veered off over onto Michigan.
16:09 The Reformation Lutheran Church really
16:12 is a unique type of church
16:15 building right there. It almost looks
16:18 like like an
16:20 older large trailer of some sort with
16:24 little sun
16:30 windows. But I love
16:30 the chimes, the church bells
16:37 there. Also unique architecture over
16:37 here. Look at this little
16:39 building. Right there. Pile this one
16:42 under another thrift store I've never
16:44 been to.
16:46 888
16:52 Michigan. 888. That has to be some sort
16:52 of a sign. 777. We would win in Vegas.
16:56 Like nobody's business. But
16:57 888. I mean, that would probably be a
16:59 win also. Oh, it's a consignment shop
17:03 with overhead, not a yard sale. Please
17:05 treat it as such. After stepping inside,
17:08 there's like a treasure trove in there
17:10 of a lot of older as seen on TV type
17:13 stuff. We ended up buying a few things
17:15 each. I think out of everything we
17:17 bought, it wasn't more than like 12 or
17:19 13 bucks for
17:21 everything. And came to find out, talked
17:23 to the
17:25 lady inside running the place. She has
17:27 owned this business and ran this store
17:30 for 52 years. She was saying this used
17:33 to be an empty lot and she had someone
17:36 that she knew build build the building
17:38 52 years ago to open up a v a thrift
17:43 store a store where she could sell
17:46 previously used items and she's had it
17:49 for for over half a century 52 years.
17:53 There was some older photographs that
17:54 she had of herself in there with her
17:57 dogs over the years.
18:00 really interesting right here on the in
18:04 Orlando. 52 years this thrift store has
18:06 been here and I didn't even know it
18:08 existed. We're just kind of looking up
18:09 ones as we were driving
18:12 around. Got a couple things and Jim got
18:15 a couple
18:17 things here at just simply the thrift
18:19 store at 888.
18:26 Show them our haul. Want to show them
18:26 what we got? Yeah. Check that original
18:29 50year-old cash register in there. Hand
18:32 she handwrites everything. Hands right.
18:33 Handwrites it and keeps that. Look at
18:35 that on a ticket.
18:38 Wow. You ended up getting this juicer.
18:40 Look at this. Look at this. She didn't
18:42 charge us what the written price was
18:43 either. No. Every look at everything in
18:46 here was
18:47 $16. That was it. You got the juicer
18:50 juiceatic because I'm doing a
18:52 mid-century theme in the house. So, look
18:55 at that. And I don't think this thing,
18:56 even though the box looks pretty
18:58 hammered, I don't really think this
19:00 thing has good on your counter, too.
19:02 Yeah. Used much at all. Look at that.
19:04 Look at that. You even have the Yeah.
19:06 the original instructions. That's great.
19:09 So, that's in there. What else we got?
19:13 You got a old uh Molly hatchet. Eight
19:16 track Molly hatchet. Flirting with
19:18 disaster. Boy, that's a requirement. Got
19:21 that. Heart of Hawaii record. Oh,
19:24 there's your Oh, yeah. I got the Elvis
19:25 cassette
19:27 tape. Heart of Hawaii. You got that?
19:30 You're doing your tiki area. Yep. I got
19:35 myself
19:36 microware, which I always like to have
19:38 microwavable stuff. I'm always looking
19:41 for the Tupperware microwavable stuff,
19:42 which is like really hard to find, but
19:44 this is pretty close. This has never
19:46 been used. Nope. And I don't know if I I
19:49 don't know if I'll create a loaf inside
19:52 there. But if I wanted to cook soup or
19:54 veggies or anything, I could throw it
19:55 right in there. It's a loaf pan, but
19:57 it's completely microwavable. This is
19:59 back when you couldn't really get
20:00 microwavable stuff. This was probably
20:02 like a rarity rare item when it came
20:04 out. I thought it had a year, but it
20:06 doesn't. When microwaves were like be
20:07 perfect for a meatloaf. I'm never going
20:10 to make a meatloaf. Make a meatloaf,
20:12 man. It's easy. Look at this. Who
20:14 remembers what those are? They're
20:15 missing the tops. She didn't have them.
20:18 But the old uh popsicle popsicle sticks.
20:21 Yeah. Pour your Kool-Aid in there. And
20:22 they used to have a cap with a stick.
20:24 I'll just have to get some sticks and
20:25 lay in there. We got some good stuff.
20:27 Good stuff. Look for the church
20:30 bells. 884 right there and 888 right
20:33 here. This is Michigan, I think. I think
20:37 this is Michigan Street. Yeah, here's
20:39 the sign right over here. This is
20:41 Michigan. Yeah, I see the sign right
20:43 there. Michigan. All right, we're are
20:44 now over technically I think the
20:46 outskirts of Orlando called Edgewood.
20:48 We're still on Orange A at the Community
20:50 Thrift Store and check this out. This
20:53 place is open for another half hour. Oh
20:55 yeah, it is the it is the city of
20:58 Edgewood. I didn't even know there was
20:59 an Edgewood. I just figured this was
21:01 technically Orlando,
21:03 but is it unlawful and illegal for you
21:06 to drop off household discards at this
21:08 location? Wouldn't they want people to
21:10 drop off stuff here? All right, kind of
21:12 perused around a little bit. One thing
21:15 we noticed is a lot of the price there's
21:16 some good deals, but a lot of the prices
21:18 are inflated. We were kind of first we
21:19 were kind of browsing around some of the
21:21 furniture and I actually found a
21:24 baseball chair which was kind of
21:26 interesting like wedged over. It's like
21:27 a I don't even know where I'd put a
21:29 baseball chair, but you could sit inside
21:30 the baseball chair. Didn't get it. And
21:33 then we found some records. are kind of
21:34 excited, thought, "Oh, some good
21:36 records." And some of them were $1.99,
21:38 but most of them were $8.95 or $18.95
21:42 for the doubles and thought we could
21:44 really add up and really get our money
21:46 could end up uh exponentially being a
21:49 lot of money once we were in here for
21:50 that price. So, I don't I put all the
21:52 records I ended up putting majority of
21:55 uh of the records back.
22:12 We did buy a few things, too. Also, cash
22:12 only. Cash only here. No credit cards.
22:15 Only
22:17 cash. Got a couple things. I only bought
22:19 one thing. Jim bought quite a few
22:21 things. I found a couple things that he
22:23 wanted. I had my sight set on a couple
22:26 albums, but didn't get them. There was a
22:29 Frank Zappa live at the Roxy which was
22:31 pretty. I was like that'd be a pretty
22:32 good deal. A couple bucks, right? And I
22:34 said, "Nope. 20 bucks." So, a little
22:36 overpriced thrift store. Little high.
22:38 Proud of those prices.
22:41 I feel like they're just kind of
22:42 searching the web and they know what
22:43 what they know what they got, but we
22:44 ended up getting we ended up getting a
22:45 few things anyway. Should we do a little
22:47 haul in the in the back of the truck? I
22:51 like the place across the street. You
22:52 show them that yet?
22:54 Camelot. Look at that. How big that? Oh,
22:57 you're talking about the uh it's an
23:00 apartment comp apartment complex. Thing
23:02 I bought for a
23:04 $1.90 dollar and change is the
23:08 2002 forgotten about version. The
23:12 travesty that Spielberg put out when he
23:15 took ET and CGIed his face. the bike
23:20 scene when they the kids launch over the
23:24 officers. They removed the weapons they
23:27 had and CGI walkietalkies in their
23:30 hands. But the worst thing about the
23:32 2002 version was they took ET and they
23:37 made a a different face, different
23:41 movements. Very awkward. Now, this does
23:43 have Let me open it up. This does have
23:45 the 2002, but I wanted to have this
23:47 because you never know when this version
23:50 could be completely erased off the
23:52 interwebs as if it doesn't exist
23:53 anymore. I think Spielberg and all that
23:56 realizes, hey, we should never
23:58 acknowledge that I did that. And now the
24:00 newer versions, when you buy the other
24:02 newer versions, newer uh Blu-rays and
24:04 things, they have the original theater
24:05 version. It's hard to find. And this is
24:08 not worth a lot of money. It's not like
24:09 a super, you know, super expensive item,
24:11 but it is rare to find a
24:13 2002 version with the uh the weird wacky
24:17 edits and all that. At least Spielberg
24:20 realized the mistake he made and went
24:22 back to putting out the original
24:24 version. George Lucas has not done that
24:26 yet. But you know what else Spielberg
24:29 did? He buried a bunch of Atari games,
24:31 didn't he? Was it Spielberg? He
24:33 personally went out there with a Well,
24:35 somebody did. All those bad Atari 2600
24:38 ET games. They were Atari. Yeah, that's
24:40 right. And they found them or somebody
24:41 dug them up. I don't know who was.
24:43 Someone did it. I don't know. And now
24:45 they're now you can find those online.
24:46 People sell those. What' you get? I got
24:48 an Eddie Grant LP. That was not $20.
24:52 Like Frank Zap online. They were all
24:54 over the board with their weird pricing.
24:56 Yeah. Romancing the Stone. Is that the
24:58 song from the soundtrack? Yeah. Really?
25:00 That was Eddie Grant. Yep. Yep. Yep.
25:02 Early Robert Zmecha's pre-back to the
25:03 Future. Disco tech. That's pretty good.
25:06 Four bucks. I have no idea what this
25:08 will be, but she's dancing like crazy,
25:10 so it should be cool, right? Whoa, easy
25:12 shape. Yeah, not bad. I mean, you got to
25:15 look at them before you buy them. That
25:16 one's got big old scratch. Hopefully, it
25:18 plays. Um, give it a good cleaning. Iron
25:22 butterfly. Look at that.
25:26 Got a Devita. You got some tiki action.
25:27 There it is. Maybe that's why I bought
25:29 There's a guy washing his underarm. They
25:31 know. Um. Oh, speaking of tiki for the
25:34 tiki hut I'm
25:36 building. Look at this.
25:39 That's nice. That's cool, huh? Couple
25:41 bucks for that. Yep. Yep. You could have
25:43 bought six of those for the same price
25:44 as a Frank Zappa record at a thrift
25:46 store. I know. I don't need six. And
25:48 this is only two bucks. Look at $1.91
25:50 for Speaking of George Lucas game.
25:53 Trivia time. Look it. Oh, yeah. Look at
25:55 this. I think it's all here. It looks
25:58 like it. There's Leia. There's Look at
26:00 that. Must be the timer. That is so
26:02 cool. I don't know. And I like that it's
26:04 the original trilogy. It's time. Look
26:06 it. That's neat. Two bucks. Ready? I
26:11 mean, that right there would be two
26:12 bucks. I'm going to give you a question.
26:13 You going to do one? I'm going to do one
26:15 for you. Here you go. Original trilogy.
26:18 I don't know what the little uh
26:21 Now, I do like the original trilogy, but
26:24 I'm not compl I'm not I'm not saying
26:26 that I'm an expert, so I might not get
26:27 all these. Oo, that's a tough one there.
26:29 I'm probably not gonna get it right.
26:32 What prevented atmosphere in a hangar
26:34 bay from escaping into space?
26:39 Does it say which? Does it say which of
26:39 the three? What? Well, I think this is
26:42 just more science of the movies. What
26:45 prevents atmosphere in a hangar bay from
26:47 escaping magnetic field? No idea. Yeah.
26:50 Who locked in the auxiliary power when
26:52 the Falcon was caught by the Death Stars
26:54 tractor beam?
26:57 That's an easy one. I don't know it. He
27:00 says, "Blank, lock in the auxiliary
27:01 power." Blank, lock in the auxiliary
27:03 power. Chewbacca. Han was telling
27:05 Chewbacca. Oh, Han was saying it though,
27:06 not Chewy. Who thought the name Lando
27:09 referred to a star system?
27:12 Leia.
27:16 Princess
27:16 Leia. These are good. Jabba the Hut's
27:19 Palace. What weapon did Luke from a
27:22 guard in Jabba the Hut's palace? It was
27:25 a blaster. a blaster before the rancor
27:27 dro before he dropped into the rancor
27:28 pit. I know Jedi. I know Jedi pretty
27:31 well.
27:33 Wow.
27:35 Give me one more so I can get it right.
27:36 One more. Here we come.
27:39 Uh oh. What object did Princess Leia use
27:43 to kill Jabba the Hut? His chain around
27:46 his neck. Got to be chain. I know.
27:48 Return I know. Return of the Jedi.
27:50 That's my favorite. Look. Look at Okay.
27:52 All right. That must be the little
27:56 Look at these. All right. Cool. We're
27:58 two bucks, man. Two
28:00 bucks. Look at that. That's pretty cool.
28:02 Just to go through and look at some of
28:04 these. I like this because it's not all
28:05 the new stuff that I don't know at all.
28:07 Oh, there you go. There you go. Jedi.
28:09 Little Ewok. There. There's Han. Little
28:12 Han. Oop. Hanging.
28:16 Sorry. I've commuted a little bit
28:19 farther over to Park Avenue where next
28:22 to the cleaners is Park AB CDs. Not only
28:26 they have CDs, tapes, books, toys, and
28:27 more, but they also have vinyl. Let's
28:30 see if I can find a couple things I've
28:33 been looking for inside of
28:35 here. They have a little neon here.
28:38 There's a few good record stores in
28:40 Orlando, but this is one of the better
28:41 ones when it comes to type of genre of
28:44 music I'm looking for sometimes. pretty
28:46 good hardcore punk rock selection, local
28:49 selection,
28:50 etc. Parkav
28:53 CDs. They are on Karine
28:56 Drive. Maybe it's not Park. I thought it
28:59 was Park Avenue, but I guess it's
29:06 technically Corin
29:06 Drive. You know, that's funny because I
29:09 always assumed it was on Park Avenue,
29:13 judging by the name, but technically
29:14 it's a
29:16 2916 Karine
29:23 Drive, which connects on the corner of
29:23 East Winter Park Road, which would
29:25 be Park Road or Park
29:28 A. Or maybe there's a different reason
29:30 why it's called Park A CDs. All right, I
29:32 ended up getting a few things. I went
29:36 with Jawbreaker Dear You. Dare I say the
29:39 best Jawbreaker album they ever put out.
29:41 Some people don't like this particular
29:43 album, but I think it's their
29:46 best. Used to have this on CD way back
29:49 in the day, but kind of be neat to have
29:52 the vinyl. This This feels like an album
29:54 that'd be good just kind of put on.
29:56 You're just doing stuff around the
29:58 house. So, ended up with that. and
30:00 completely different went with Dolly
30:03 Parton, the Jolene album, which has
30:05 quite a few hits and also has her
30:07 biggest hit, I will always love you,
30:09 which that's probably nothing no bigger
30:11 hit. Well, no, Jolene might be the
30:13 bigger bigger hit. So, I got that. And
30:16 then I went with Green Day's most mellow
30:19 album, Warning, which is one of my
30:21 favorites right there.
30:25 Figured this is also would be kind of a
30:27 good one to throw on doing stuff around
30:29 the
30:31 house. So, I got three albums from Park
30:34 A CDs. They also do have CDs, cassette
30:38 tapes and whatnot, but some vinyl. About
30:41 a mile from where we just were is out of
30:44 closet. They close in 5 minutes, so
30:46 we're going to run it here real quick.
30:47 It's on the corner of Blue Gardens and
30:49 Mills Thrift Store. There used to be one
30:51 of these on Sunset across from the
30:52 Palladium that I used to always go to
30:55 and they tore that down and built a
30:57 apartment complex there right across
30:59 from the Palladium. I used to get some
31:01 stuff. I got a few things for my
31:03 apartment in Hollywood at that
31:06 particular one. But there's one here in
31:07 Orlando, too. So, they must have them
31:08 nationwide. All right. So, we got
31:10 some These are very
31:14 vintage. Look at these. These are cool.
31:18 Oh, that looks like Oh, that's Egypt. I
31:20 thought maybe that was like Mecco, but
31:22 that's Egypt right there. I like
31:24 these. I don't know what I could do with
31:26 those, but five bucks each. I'm getting
31:29 both of these. I like that. I don't know
31:32 what year those are, but that is like
31:34 some classic wall art right
31:38 there. Breakfast at
31:41 Tiffany's wall art. Tattoo art.
31:45 Sailboats. Yeah. Yeah, these are going
31:47 to be mine. I don't know where I'll put
31:49 them, but I'll put them somewhere.
31:50 Anything good in there? Not yet.
32:05 Here's a really great Nicholson movie.
32:05 This is the one with the diner scene.
32:08 That's
32:09 like money pit.
32:21 Nope. Nope. Good, bad, and the ugly. I
32:21 got furniture in here as well. I got a
32:24 lot of stuff in here. Kind of don't have
32:27 a lot of time to peruse around simply
32:29 because they're closing in 5 minutes.
32:31 There's a pasta matic down
32:35 here. All right. Got this little wall
32:38 art here just in time for them to to
32:41 close. They said that is a nationwide.
32:44 They said most of the locations are in
32:45 California. She said she thought there
32:47 was about 25 locations, but I don't
32:50 think there's a lot in Florida. I was
32:51 kind of surprised this was over here.
32:53 Reminds me of uh my LA
32:56 days. Just got to find a spot at home to
32:58 where I'm going to put
33:05 these. Made it back over to Celebration.
33:05 Well, about to pull back into
33:08 Celebration. Mickey Power Pole.
33:29 And I'm back home now on top of the
33:29 cassette tape DVD. I bought the used
33:33 records, the records that were sealed
33:35 that I purchased. I ended up in the mail
33:38 when I got home. I ordered this the
33:40 other day and showed up when I just
33:43 arrived. Lady Gaga, the Mayhem album.
33:47 Really like the songs on this. Really
33:49 like Lady Gaga. I like a wide variety of
33:51 music. And I wanted to get this on
33:53 vinyl. I think it's colored vinyl. So,
33:55 that's kind of neat. And the other stuff
33:58 I bought like the some
34:00 signs and shelf things like that. That's
34:04 going to do it for today. Thanks for
34:05 watching. I'll see you in the next
34:06 video, the vlog.
34:09 Look at this. He's got electricity
34:11 coming from his
34:13 thumbs. The vlog is over.
