Welcome everyone out of the Woo here.

Happy Friday, July 17th, 2015. I am in
0:07
the middle of the desert. The sun is
0:09
just now rising. It is very early and I
0:12
am on a road, the mother road known as
0:17
Route 66. that fantastic road that used
0:21
to be very very thriving to the general
0:24
population, but after the interstate
0:27
came in, it kind of started to dwindle a
0:30
little bit. And thankfully, because of
0:32
people like me and kindred spirit folk
0:35
like you who are interested in the very
0:37
unusual, the kooky and crazy and unusual
0:43
roadside attractions,
0:45
Route 66 is still in existence. And you
0:48
can hear a train off in the distance
0:51
right behind these abandoned houses.
0:56
Abandonments of Route 66. And we're
1:00
going to get our kicks and Route 66.
1:06
I figured I'd show you guys some
1:08
abandoned buildings and abandoned
1:17
vehicles and abandoned newspaper down
1:17
there.
1:40
It's my second channel, daily blog
1:40
channel, and it's very echoey. Not
1:43
echoey, but the sound bounces off of
1:46
these walls. So, when I did the intro,
1:48
it sounded like someone else was yelling
1:50
at me, but I was really just yelling at
1:52
myself here on the daily.
1:55
Woo!
2:02
Today is Friday, like I was mentioning.
2:02
Look at this over here. Look at that
2:04
little abandoned
2:08
shack in the back with these rusted out
2:19
foned with rust
2:19
these barrels. Look at these barrels.
2:22
Metal.
2:24
And is that a stove right down there?
2:32
Yeah, Route 66 is full of all kind of
2:32
good things. Most of the things I love
2:34
about Route 66 are all the oldtimey
2:38
stores, unique gifts that you can get,
2:41
touristy souvenirs, and weird wacky
2:44
things that you find along the Mother
2:47
Road. Which is interesting, too, because
2:49
I'm actually traveling with my mother,
2:51
who is actually still sleeping at the
2:53
moment. We are actually on our way. We
2:55
are only a few minutes from the Canyon
2:58
of Grandness. She is visiting from
3:02
Florida. She came to visit me in
3:04
California and she said, "I would really
3:06
like to see the Grand Canyon." So, we
3:08
drove all the way out here. We are now
3:11
in Arizona. She is getting ready at the
3:15
hotel and we are actually going to be
3:18
venturing today to the Grand Canyon and
3:21
then be returning back to California
3:25
tomorrow. Just having a good time so
3:28
far. I've been keeping her very busy.
3:30
Last night we filmed a lot of stuff
3:32
yesterday. I filmed a lot of stuff
3:33
yesterday and she was in my main new
3:36
main channel video that I have upcoming
3:38
and she said, "I need to go take a
3:40
break. You finished filming." So, I
3:42
stayed up pretty late last night filming
3:44
a main channel video that I will be
3:47
uploading hopefully probably when I
3:48
return to California in a couple of days
3:51
on the Adam the Woo channel. But I
3:53
wanted to show you some of these
3:55
abandoned areas of Route 66
3:59
here on this unedited channel, the Daily
4:02
Woo channel. I think this used to be
4:04
some sort of a gas station of some sort.
4:07
You can see where the gas pumps used to
4:10
be right here.
4:19
The gas pumps of course have been long
4:19
long removed and now there's some kind
4:21
of wooden barrels down here.
4:37
This old car here. A lot of old vehicles
4:37
you just find sitting out in the desert.
4:39
This is a old timey one. What kind of a
4:41
car is this? A Dodson.
4:44
That's definitely an old timey relic.
4:52
And you got to wonder what these were
4:52
back in their heyday. This was probably
4:53
some sort of a general store or maybe
4:56
like a barber shop or some sort of
5:00
I don't know. What do you guys think
5:01
this could have been?
5:03
What could this little area have been in
5:07
that building in particular?
5:09
What do you think that might have been?
5:16
Drinking a Mountain Dew today. I don't
5:16
drink as much soda as I used to, but I
5:19
do have a cooler full of Mountain Dew
5:22
and a lot of waters that we have been
5:24
consuming on our trip out into the
5:26
desert. It's not very humid here, but it
5:29
is very dry. They say it's a dry heat
5:32
and that is true because you can taste
5:35
in your mouth. You can taste the dirt
5:37
and the dustiness
5:39
out here in the desert. And look at
5:41
this.
5:49
This old truck. I showed some of this on
5:49
Periscope late last night,
5:53
but I thought, heck it, why not go back
5:55
and reminisce a little bit through the
5:57
beauty of this the daily woo vlog. I
6:00
could show you guys a little bit more of
6:02
the surroundings. Make sure you go over
6:05
and add me on Periscope. Adam the on
6:08
Periscope. I do live feeds all the time
6:11
on Periscope.
6:13
All kind of weird, wacky things,
6:16
insights into my life. Look at this.
6:25
See that speedometer right there?
6:25
There's a parked train.
6:32
right over in the distance there. So,
6:32
how are you guys doing today? What is on
6:34
the agenda
6:36
for you this weekend? Now, I know a lot
6:38
of people know I am a huge fan of
6:41
Disneyland and Walt Disney in general.
6:44
And today is a historic day for
6:46
Disneyland history. Today is the opening
6:49
of Disneyland 60 years ago. So, if you
6:53
think about that, I need to switch hands
6:57
because you're getting very heavy
6:59
holding you in that arm. So, I need to
7:02
switch arms. Today is the 60th
7:05
anniversary of Disneyland. So, I'm sure
7:08
a lot of my friends,
7:10
kindred spirits across
7:14
not only the world, probably the world
7:17
are watching and tuning in to a lot of
7:18
people that are vlogging, periscoping,
7:22
posting pictures on Twitter, Instagram,
7:24
Facebook from the park. But I, alas,
7:28
will not be at Disneyland today. I will
7:30
actually be at the Grand Canyon a little
7:32
bit later. I do not know how the
7:34
reception is going to be out there.
7:36
probably not very good. So, I said to
7:38
myself, heck it. Let's get the vlog done
7:42
early
7:44
here at the Sun Rising Festivities
7:48
here on Route 66. get the vlog out of
7:52
the way because I did not want the fact
7:54
that there's probably not going to be
7:55
internet and cell phone data signal on
7:59
my phone out at the Grand Canyon to
8:02
hinder the fact that I am bringing
8:04
myself into your life today and every
8:07
day. I well past 1,100
8:11
days in a row without actually missing
8:14
without actually missing. I'm trying
8:16
having a hard time. Look at this. Having
8:17
a very hard time holding this holding
8:20
this Mountain Dew. I should just finish
8:22
it. You see that little sweet maneuver I
8:24
just did right there.
8:27
I should probably finish this and find a
8:29
trash can to discard
8:32
of this trash can. Now,
8:35
I want to show you something over here.
8:37
Show you something back in here that I
8:39
discovered.
8:42
There are some old cars.
8:45
some really old cars back in here. But
8:49
first, I'm going to head to this
8:50
dumpster
8:52
and uh drink this
8:55
and toss away the remnants. Put this in
8:57
here.
9:07
Check out this old wagon.
9:07
Rock me mama like a wagon wheel. Rock me
9:11
mama any way you feel. Ooh,
9:15
mama rock me. That's a song about a
9:18
wagon wheel that became very popular a
9:20
few years ago. And I saw a wagon and it
9:23
had a wheel. So, I decided to break into
9:26
that song. But I think the thing that
9:28
you might find interesting are these old
9:30
car relics all over in here.
9:34
Look at this. This is like a some sort
9:37
of a trailer that was created out of the
9:40
back of a truck.
9:43
And that's definitely an old timey
9:44
vintage classic car bed, classic truck
9:48
bed. All through here, you can see, look
9:51
at this old like junkyard area full of
9:53
stuff. This old piece of machinery.
9:56
There's an old truck. Look at this.
9:58
There's an old truck.
10:02
I do not want to step on a snake. But
10:04
look at this.
10:18
That is cool. Look at this. Is the front
10:18
part of a truck. And there are
10:21
droughtresistant plants
10:24
growing up through the hood. And look at
10:26
this. An engine.
10:32
Watching out for snakes. I do not want
10:32
to step on a rattlesnake out here in the
10:34
desert. That would not be good.
10:46
All kind of neat stuff along Route 66.
10:46
What is this?
10:48
What kind of machinery is this here?
10:57
Some kind of a steamroller
10:57
of some sort. What is that? That's not a
10:59
steamroller, but what is that?
11:02
And look at this car. Oh my gosh.
11:06
Look at this.
11:30
As you can see, the sun just starting to
11:30
come over the horizon, this desertous
11:33
horizon.
11:41
One last thing I want to show you over
11:42
here
11:43
is this old bug punch buggy straight
11:47
ahead
11:49
in this old classic car.
12:06
You can see all the tumble weeds and
12:06
grass all growing inside of there. Just
12:09
look at that. That is awesome.
12:46
If anyone knows the year, make, and
12:46
model of any of these cars, feel free to
12:49
leave a timestamp. Like right now, it's
12:51
12 minutes and 52 seconds. So, in the
12:54
comment section down below, write 12
12:56
minutes and 57 seconds. blue car and
13:00
type what it is that you think the year
13:03
and the model number is as well as this
13:05
car as well as this car as well as that
13:10
vehicle as well as the car that is over
13:13
there. We could have some fun. You can
13:15
share some information with me. I am not
13:18
a self-proclaimed afficionado of cars,
13:21
but maybe you guys know more about
13:23
vehicles than I do. Like you guys would
13:25
know what these type of vehicles are as
13:28
opposed to I like what exactly what is
13:31
the exact year? If you know anything
13:33
about what exact year this is this car
13:38
here this
13:40
this this
13:42
trying to get a screenshot. Yes. This is
13:44
a gratuitous screenshot. This will be
13:47
the screenshot of the video.
13:50
this. What year is this bug? Leave a
13:55
comment down below. Also, check down
13:57
below for my t-shirts. Adam adams.com. I
13:59
have to let you guys go. I have a very
14:00
full day. I need to upload this vlog and
14:03
then to get my mom. We're going to head
14:04
to the Grand Canyon and tomorrow we'll
14:06
be back in California,
14:08
which will be awesome. We will be on our
14:10
way back to California tomorrow. Back in
14:12
California tomorrow night. So, that'll
14:14
be good times. My mom's having a good
14:15
time. I'm having a good time. It was
14:16
good to spend time with my mom one
14:19
on-one. It's been a long time since we
14:21
hung out together. So, having a great
14:23
time. Thanks for you guys being in my
14:26
life on a daily basis. Please subscribe.
14:28
It's absolutely free. And please check

14:50
an Adam theWoo t-shirt. This is not an
14:52
Adam the Woo t-shirt. This is a Doc
14:54
Brown back to the future t-shirt. But
14:56
you can get yourself an Adam the Woo
14:57
t-shirt over on adamoo.spreadshirt.com.
14:59
It helps fuel the woo. Helps me go
15:01
around and film things like this. How do
15:03
these vlogs happen? Because of your help
15:06
through getting a t-shirt on
15:08
adm.shirt.com.
15:10
helps put gas in my van. We started a
15:13
little thing a while back called Fuel
15:14
the Woo. That all comes from t-shirt
15:17
sales on ado.com.
15:19
Have a great day. Love you guys. I got
15:22
my kicks and so did you on Route 66.
15:27
At least I hope you did.
