0:28 Colombian welcome everyone Adam the woo
0:28 here cruising the back roads of Indiana
0:32 in the sister mobile the whole family is
0:35 wedged in there well my dad's not wedged
0:37 he's he's partially wedged he's trying
0:39 to get into the back he he will soon be
0:42 sitting in the back seat and I will be
0:44 sitting in the front seat it's my second
0:47 channel daily Vlog channel it's the
0:50 daily woo remember the days when we sat
0:52 in the back and you guys were up front I
0:55 do and now we're sitting up front oh how
0:58 the times have changed changed they've
1:01 changed indeed if you two don't settle
1:03 down back there I'm going to separate
1:05 you stay don't cross the line I would
1:09 pull this car over don't make me pull
1:11 this car over we're now cruising through
1:13 the little community of
1:14 minone also nicknamed the egg basket of
1:18 the Midwest and to honor and celebrate
1:21 this achievement they have built out of
1:24 concrete a 10t tall egg three th000 lb
1:32 of
1:33 concrete that's a heavy heavy egg placed
1:37 here in
1:38 1946 but don't try to grab the eggs
1:40 because they're not real that is an
1:43 illusion made by paint at the top they
1:47 have written the town's
1:49 Name Across look at man that thing I
1:54 don't know if this is the world's
1:55 largest egg but it has to be in the top
1:57 10 I've never seen another egg of this
2:00 magnitude before have you even when you
2:03 try to get away from it by crossing the
2:05 street a dozen yards or so distance it's
2:09 still in your peripheral vision you
2:11 can't you can't get you can't get away
2:13 from the egg it's like it's chasing me
2:16 what if it rolled out into the street
2:18 and cared into one of those Vehicles
2:21 would definitely be a
2:23 lawsuit I don't know would a chicken
2:26 show up to court that'd be weird I know
2:29 you guys are going to be very
2:30 disappointed but I just saw the world's
2:33 largest egg while you were in here in
2:36 the AC I just saw the world's largest
2:38 egg I touched it does he have a
2:40 name you should give it a
2:43 name I see what you did there you never
2:46 know what you're going to find down
2:47 these back roads here in Indiana this
2:50 field has just been planted very
2:52 recently with corn you can barely see it
2:55 coming up out of the ground within a
2:57 couple months it'll be a lot taller
2:59 taller and more visibly corn but for now
3:02 it just looks like little little weed
3:04 stalks but it's corn right over there
3:08 was corn here's an old Marsh grocery
3:10 store food
3:13 liner neon sign the store is gone but
3:17 the sign Still Remains it's pretty
3:18 common place to see a clock like that
3:21 but you never really see a thermometer
3:24 above the clock in that fashion that's
3:27 slightly unusual this building was built
3:29 in 18 19 70 and it is the kusoo county
3:33 jail I'm I hope I'm pronouncing that
3:36 correctly there is a Placer here with a
3:38 little bit more information and way back
3:40 in the day the Sheriff's Office no the
3:42 sheriff's Resident was located directly
3:46 behind it in a three-story building but
3:49 that home has been removed oh wow look
3:54 at the courthouse City Hall there in the
3:55 background
3:57 impressive most impressive what do you
3:59 sitting on oh it's it's you're sitting
4:02 on a h a big hand made out of some sort
4:05 of hard plastic I thought it was wood at
4:07 first but it's like a hard plastic it's
4:09 not
4:10 concrete maybe fiberglass perhaps and
4:13 they have a little Museum here in town
4:16 as
4:17 well check out what's inside this gun is
4:20 to believe to have been used by the one
4:23 and only John Dillinger one of the most
4:25 famous bank robbers in history but this
4:27 sign says that he was never actually in
4:30 this jail even though he was here in
4:32 town at one point this is Jud Pinger an
4:36 officer who quote Tangled with Dillinger
4:40 in 1934 here in Warsaw I am currently
4:44 standing inside this building the jail
4:47 adjacent and I stand corrected the
4:49 sheriff's home still stands behind it
4:54 we're going to get to walk through there
4:55 the real question is am I in jail are
4:57 you in jail or you got is that an office
4:59 off this is my buddy it's officer
5:02 Bud commonly called buddy we are walking
5:06 deeper
5:08 into the
5:14 cells this is pretty cool it's also been
5:14 said that Al Capone spent time here in
5:16 town even though just like Dillinger he
5:19 was never in this jail he was never
5:21 Behind These Bars but he did pass
5:23 through or at least hang out here in
5:25 Warsaw there's even some old photos on
5:27 the wall from a lot of the sports team
5:30 from here in town dating all the way
5:33 back to the
5:35 1920s and 30s these are all photos of
5:39 the girls basketball teams from way back
5:42 then and here are the boys photos and
5:47 some old timey
5:51 jerseys letterman
5:54 jackets wow look at this did you ever
5:56 wear anything like this back in your day
5:59 Mom
6:00 no I wasn't a che leader in the high
6:02 school it kind of reminds me of Greece
6:03 the Pink Ladies type outfit in a way
6:05 it's not pink but it kind of kind of
6:08 reminds me of that just it's amazing
6:11 what kind of clothes they wore back then
6:13 to play sports in what they do now this
6:15 is back when football players didn't
6:17 even wear face masks when you played
6:20 football did you wear a face mask MH and
6:22 you play what was the position that you
6:23 used to play center so this would have
6:25 been you and these are leather helmets
6:29 these are these are not metal helmets so
6:31 that would have been you right there
6:32 hiking the ball hiking the ball right
6:34 there wait is that what that is that I
6:38 see the
6:44 resemblance yep nailed it there are four
6:44 bunks in this particular cell this guy
6:47 is completely alone which makes me think
6:51 maybe that's Robert
6:53 Hurley who is a
6:55 snitch you're a you're the snitch I
6:58 smell a rat
7:00 and it's you and read this bit of
7:09 graffiti whoever wrote that does not not
7:09 a fan of cop cars dad's staying down on
7:11 the ground floor there's a woman prison
7:14 Mom is walking up to the top floor
7:15 because that is where the women's cells
7:19 are on the top floor so they had
7:22 separated cells yes the solitary ooh
7:26 solitary confinement go in there Mom see
7:29 what what's in there see what's in
7:31 there see what's in there see what's in
7:36 there now you have to be fed through
7:40 this you would be all alone in this room
7:43 for days weeks months at a time no
7:47 Escape until they unlock the
7:50 door pretty imagine being a solitary
7:52 confinement or can you imagine hitting
7:55 this steel beam luckily they place this
7:57 foam thing there in case you crack your
7:59 kn inside the cells they have placed
8:02 these figures of school children and
8:06 look over in the corner looks like
8:08 little Timmy has been he's been a bad
8:10 boy he's got the duns cap on is that
8:13 even deemed politically correct by
8:16 today's standards that terminology now
8:18 this does say enter at your own risk
8:21 directly written below this I think
8:24 that's a hand or a maybe that's toes and
8:26 a foot but either way when you walk
8:29 through this Corridor Behind These Bars
8:32 are all the documentation in book and
8:35 paper form of all the prisoners
8:39 handwritten in the
8:41 pages who have stayed here in this jail
8:45 that's incredible it says the most
8:47 common injury in jail is a broken hand
8:50 you know why I think it's because a guy
8:53 would get mad at another guy and he'd
8:54 take a swing at him and the other guy
8:56 would duck and he hit the right there
8:59 yeah I can I can see the I can see the
9:01 handprints right there and just a few
9:03 feet from the inmates themselves down
9:06 this hallway is where the sheriff lived
9:09 himself on this
9:11 three-story building completely
9:14 connected to the jail oh there it is how
9:17 do you so that that's how you pronounce
9:18 the county name
9:21 Cusco
9:24 Fus and here is the kitchen very retro
9:27 looking still to this day this looks to
9:30 be an old portable bathtub oh that was
9:35 his bathtub look used to be on the
9:39 second
9:40 floor which I'm still technically on the
9:43 second floor but this is a
9:45 bedroom not a bathroom this must be the
9:48 music room there is an old record player
9:51 in the corner in Oregon a really amazing
9:55 looking piano a trumpet that was played
9:58 by Max shiv
10:00 another
10:01 organ and wow look at these remember
10:05 these these were a little before my time
10:06 but I do remember that famous photo of
10:08 the dog sitting next to it listening to
10:11 a tune this is called a graphophone is
10:16 that how you pronounce it
10:17 graphophone pretty cool some handcuffs
10:20 and shackles and that is what is
10:23 referred to as a ball and chain and
10:25 check out this old photography set with
10:27 the ID number you you would stand at
10:30 that end the camera would take a picture
10:34 and that would be your wanted poster and
10:36 the prisoners would come in this metal
10:38 door and the officers would have to
10:40 slide that across to see who was waiting
10:43 to come through next oh there you are we
10:45 were waiting on you I thought you got
10:47 incarcerated I thought I thought you
10:50 were I thought you got locked up in
10:51 there good to see you you've
10:54 escaped the jail we have now arrived at
10:58 our destination at a theater in the
11:01 round for a
11:04 presentation of the Disney movie Newsies
11:07 well an
11:08 adaptation based on the
11:11 film
11:13 newes as signified right up there on
11:16 that TV and the performers are going to
11:19 dance around on this cage like thing and
11:22 sing and dance I've never been to
11:24 anything like this this should be this
11:26 should be fun and I must confess as much
11:28 as I love Disney movies I've never seen
11:31 Newsies have you and I don't think I'm
11:34 allowed to I don't think I'm allowed to
11:35 record video in here so we're going to
11:38 have to we'll have to wait till the end
11:39 to give our review the show's about to
11:41 begin here at the Wagon Wheel Center for
11:44 the Arts I'll see you in a second well 3
11:48 or 4
11:49 seconds maybe 5 Seconds just in a minute
11:52 I'll see you there go the actors they
11:54 are going below the stage they're taking
11:58 their places
12:00 I'll be back momentarily after the
12:02 show's over and let you know my thoughts
12:06 I was just informed by my dad that that
12:08 was not the actors that was the
12:10 Orchestra Orchestra they were going down
12:13 into the orchestra pit into the
12:17 pit they're closing the lid on the pit
12:19 now they're closing the pit all right I
12:21 got to go I'm not allowed to record in
12:23 here what are you doing with your hand
12:25 you like doing a snuff snuff ophus
12:28 impression I got to go I got to go see
12:30 see you
12:38 after then they started calling all
12:38 those
12:49 buses I had to adhere to the strict
12:49 rules of no filming in there they made
12:52 it very clear that it was not allowed
12:54 but when all is said and done two and a
12:56 half hours later about a 15minute
12:58 intermission so about a two 2our and 15
13:01 minute show incredible I'm kind of
13:03 disappointed that after all my years on
13:06 this Earth I've never seen the movie
13:08 that was awesome and the announcer was
13:11 saying that very rarely does Disney give
13:14 out permission to smaller towns like
13:16 Warsaw Indiana to do this this is kind
13:18 of a first run of this and huge thumbs
13:22 up from me and this is the
13:25 program and these are the cast members
13:29 and the musical numbers if you were
13:32 interested in seeing if you recognize
13:35 anyone's
13:36 name in there there he comes there's a
13:41 crop duster right up there in the sky
13:43 check that
13:45 out ray of light beaming down upon it
