0:03 welcome everyone Adam the woo here happy
0:03 Saturday to
0:04 you I am very happy because I just
0:08 consuming some caffeinated beverages I'm
0:10 just now arriving in
0:12 Nashville after a couple day delay
0:16 getting here from the Pigeon Forge
0:17 Gatlinburg area CU yesterday I filmed an
0:21 epic video
0:23 adventure and today after I upload this
0:25 Vlog I'm going to be staying in
0:27 Nashville until actually till Tuesday
0:29 morning morning but today I'm going to
0:31 be indisposed and I am actually going to
0:33 lock myself down in front of my laptop
0:36 after I upload this video of course and
0:39 finish editing complete editing the
0:42 video that I filmed yesterday I've had
0:44 some other video adventures that I
0:46 filmed before the one I'm going to
0:49 upload next however what I did yesterday
0:52 means a lot to me it's an epic spot I
0:55 went to a place I was there all by
0:57 myself maybe you saw the Vlog yesterday
0:59 of me worrying about bears is in the
1:02 middle of the woods and I'm really
1:04 excited it's a subject that I hold very
1:08 close to my heart childhood memories if
1:11 you
1:12 will and let's create another memory
1:15 right now shall we it's my second
1:17 channel daily blog channel it's the
1:19 daily
1:22 pathway behind a truck stop Flying J I
1:25 believe yes Flying J all you truckers
1:29 out there why is is it called Flying J
1:33 what does J stand for and why is it
1:36 flying I'm not really sure got some
1:38 Mountain Dew in
1:39 here and the reason I'm going up this
1:41 way to show you what I'm going to show
1:43 you is because before I got the soda
1:46 maybe the caffeine not being in my
1:48 system actually hindered me from Gaining
1:51 entrance to this spot but I went to the
1:53 front entryway this place is very
1:56 heavily guarded not the gas station
1:59 truck stop but the place that resides
2:01 behind the truck stop and up this hill
2:04 the main entrance has a gazillion no
2:07 trespassing signs and very heavily armed
2:11 security guards and fences but I found
2:14 this little
2:16 walkway full of
2:18 berries I'm a little lad that loves
2:21 berries and
2:23 cream who remembers that commercial all
2:26 right let's go up this little area
2:29 through this
2:41 hill a little bit of a steep incline
2:41 here walking
2:48 up and what am I feasting my eyes on
2:48 that you could probably see in the
2:49 reflection of my glasses yes right here
2:53 on the other side of these railroad
2:56 tracks is this shun
3:06 the abandoned Tennessee State
3:06 Penitentiary right there look at that
3:25 down that is definitely not on level
3:25 ground I'm not going to leave that there
3:26 like these other people who littered I'm
3:28 gonna come back and drink that but I
3:30 wanted to give you the awesome hand
3:42 of that is incredible a massive
3:42 abandoned Tennessee penitentiary
3:46 prison right there now see we could
3:49 actually walk down the hill and walk
3:51 over there however look over there that
3:53 is where I was stopped you see a guy in
3:55 a
3:56 truck and there's some sort of a
3:58 security guard station
4:00 they do not like people out here they
4:04 will stop you if you try to gain
4:07 entrance without permission which leads
4:09 me to the topic of this Vlog I would
4:13 like to get to the point based on how
4:15 people are watching my videos and
4:17 connections that you guys have that I
4:20 might not be connected with it's a
4:23 vicarious circle of goodness if you will
4:26 so if you ever see something in a video
4:28 I'm talking about wanting to be able to
4:30 see either to get legitimate permission
4:32 to like something like this maybe not
4:36 this exactly do you have any connections
4:38 or maybe online you could figure out who
4:40 I need to contact to get into a place
4:42 like this but just of any my any of my
4:45 video adventures or places that I was
4:48 actually hindered from going inside of
4:50 because I didn't talk to the right
4:52 person or have the right connections
4:53 maybe you someone who's watching this
4:55 Vlog can actually lead me in the right
4:59 direction so let's use this as an
5:01 example if you know someone who's
5:04 connected to someone who either works
5:07 here as a security guard or you can find
5:09 out online how much it costs to get a
5:12 legitimate tour of this exact facility I
5:17 would love to get inside of there
5:20 there's a lot of history here and of
5:22 course the most popular one was the
5:24 filming locations of the movie Green
5:27 Mile The Green Mile the second movie by
5:30 the director from Sha Shank Redemption I
5:32 know a lot of people will say that kind
5:33 of looks like a prison that would be
5:35 used in The Walking Dead I am not a
5:38 Walking Dead afficionado in fact I've
5:41 only seen the first few episodes one day
5:44 I will hunker down when I stop traveling
5:46 or maybe I could probably watch them on
5:48 my laptop if I could download them or
5:50 get the DVDs or on Netflix I'm not sure
5:52 if they're on Netflix but one day I will
5:54 get caught up on The Walking Dead but a
5:56 lot of people probably are thinking that
5:58 looks like something that would be used
6:00 in The Walking Dead well it's
6:02 interesting that you bring that up
6:03 because the director of The Walking Dead
6:05 from season number one before he got
6:07 fired which is very interesting actually
6:10 directed the Sha Shank Redemption and
6:12 the movie that was filmed right here The
6:15 Green Mile he must have like some sort
6:17 of weird
6:20 fetish weird concocted strange peculiar
6:25 obsession with prisons and this one
6:28 right here definitely feeds into his
6:30 obsession because that is
6:33 absolutely fantastic look at that place
6:36 Shashank Redemption I've actually done
6:38 the filming locations of that was up in
6:40 Ohio Mansfield Reformatory you can find
6:44 that video just by Googling on YouTube
6:46 or just Google the filming locations of
6:50 sha Shank Redemption you'll probably see
6:52 my video on there if you haven't seeing
6:53 it already but I would love to actually
6:55 get inside of there maybe do a full main
6:58 channel of what the history of this
7:00 place is which is absolutely amazing I
7:02 was doing some research online or I
7:05 could actually do the filming locations
7:06 of The Green Mile that were right inside
7:11 of there but for now the closest we can
7:14 get and the closest you can
7:17 get is actually just right here in the
7:20 back side of these trees there are some
7:22 videos on YouTube people who've gone in
7:23 there I have not watched them yet maybe
7:26 I should sit down and actually watch
7:27 them and see how detailed
7:30 they've shown I don't think anyone's
7:31 done the actual filming occasions of The
7:33 Green Mile however that is what I want
7:37 to do so purpose of this Vlog not only
7:40 to show you this but to also invite you
7:42 into my world if you have a connection
7:45 you have a place that you want me to
7:48 go maybe you have a connection maybe you
7:51 have some sort of an email address maybe
7:53 you have some sort of any sort of
7:55 connection of something you want me to
7:57 see that I might not have let me
8:00 know where that info can be found I'm
8:04 going to let you guys go I need to
8:05 upload this Vlog I need to sit down I
8:08 need to chain myself to my laptop and
8:10 finish editing the video I filmed
8:12 yesterday yesterday was an awesome day
8:15 there I've done a lot of videos 300 plus
8:18 on my main Channel and this Vlog Channel
8:20 over
8:22 850 in a row and there man that truck is
8:25 making some weird crazy noise over there
8:28 I don't know if you could actually hear
8:29 that look at that water tower you can
8:30 kind of see that water tower off in the
8:32 distance that's a very old school water
8:35 tower as well next to this old prison
8:38 you got to wonder if the original prison
8:40 went all the way to the water tower
8:42 that's very interesting there's actually
8:43 an interstate over here some sort of a
8:46 highway so
8:48 yesterday was one of probably the top 10
8:51 or 20 days that I've had when it comes
8:54 to being in a place and getting a very
8:57 cool Vibe when it comes to being in an
8:59 area getting a Cool vibe it's happened a
9:02 few other times like being on the
9:04 universal backlog who I almost SLI I
9:06 almost slipped walking around Hill
9:09 Valley at Universal this is very slick
9:12 Sugar Sand I don't know if sugar saying
9:15 is a specific word but walking down that
9:18 is very slick my feet are not holding
9:20 the traction very
9:27 well so other epic days of filming
9:27 locations in Texas and the middle of
9:29 nowhere one time hanging out an entire
9:31 day with an elderly caretaker guy that
9:34 owned I wouldn't really call him elderly
9:36 he was definitely considerably older
9:38 than I am but I don't know when does
9:40 elderly start an old age set in or does
9:45 old age come before elderly I don't
9:48 really know but an older
9:50 gentleman who I developed a friendship
9:52 and a kinship with showed me around the
9:54 filming locations of John Wayne's Alamo
9:57 it was an awesome eight or 9 or 10 hour
10:00 experience hanging out with him a guy
10:02 who was in a different generation from
10:04 me he was a movie nerd also we had this
10:07 connection that was awesome so you got
10:10 that you got that particular day you got
10:12 the day at Universal Studios about 10
10:14 other days and then of course yesterday
10:17 which I will share what happened
10:18 yesterday hopefully tonight or tomorrow
10:20 when I upload my main Channel video of
10:23 what I filmed yesterday but for now I'm
10:26 going to let you guys go I'm going to
10:27 finish this Mountain Dew
10:29 look at that prison over
10:37 there man that is really cool but I be
10:37 in
10:38 Nashville it's difficult to walk drink
10:41 soda look at an exciting prison become
10:44 flabbergasted with the excitement of The
10:46 Green Mile movie filming locations and
10:50 probably some of the gnarly history that
10:52 happened inside that prison when it was
10:54 an actual active prison there's been a
10:57 bunch bunch of other movies filmed there
10:59 as well and consuming caffeine getting
11:02 small heart
11:05 palpitations from chugging too much
11:08 nectar of goodness form of Mountain
11:12 Dew so I'll be in Nashville until
11:16 Tuesday today I will not be meeting up
11:19 hanging out doing anything not only with
11:22 you but also with myself except for
11:25 staring at a computer screen editing
11:27 driving myself insane but tomorrow is
11:30 Sunday and then all day Monday I would
11:32 love to meet up with you guys so hit up
11:34 with me on the social network hit up
11:35 with me hit me up on the social networks
11:38 Twitter Instagram Facebook maybe we can
11:42 get together get something to eat maybe
11:44 you have a video location area in
11:46 Nashville you want me to do or you want
11:49 to go with me too we can probably
11:52 arrange that as well all those links can
11:54 be found down below as far as the social
11:57 networks also found down below our t
11:59 t-shirts Adam the woo. spreadshirt.com
12:01 get yourself an Adam the woo t-shirt I
12:03 should probably get myself a t-shirt
12:04 because I have been wearing look at this
12:06 I have been wearing the same t-shirt
12:08 right here this is the Gatlinburg Space
12:11 Needle shirt for about four or five
12:13 days I
12:16 need honestly need to do laundry very
12:19 bad or just buy another shirt because I
12:23 am all maybe hopefully in the next
12:25 couple maybe today could find a laundry
12:27 mat and at it so let's complete this
12:31 Vlog shall we Vlog ended
