0:06 I'm a little north of Seattle in the
0:08 Pacific Northwest
0:10 this house might look familiar to anyone
0:12 who has seen Twin Peaks
0:14 today I'm going to focus on the filming
0:16 location Ryan is here as well you are
0:19 quite the Aficionado of everything Twin
0:22 Peaks I'm a casual follower but I have
0:25 seen
0:26 fire walk with me and I have seen the
0:27 pilot episode and some other stuff over
0:30 the years so we're going to go to some
0:32 of the locations
0:33 Donna's house is right here which was
0:35 used in the pilot episode and firewalk
0:38 with me and this local area here as well
0:41 and we can't spend too much time here
0:43 because we are going to be able to go
0:44 inside the Laura Palmer House which is
0:47 just a few blocks from here
0:49 and we're going to meet up with the
0:50 owner
0:51 and go inside we want to show this first
0:56 I'm inviting you to join me shall you
0:59 nailed it wasn't expecting you to do
1:02 that that's awesome okay one thing I'm
1:04 noticing is a lot of the trees see the
1:07 very unique kind of bigger trees that
1:08 are down next to these hedges
1:10 front of the house where Laura Palmer's
1:13 walking here a lot of those trees are
1:15 gone now and they've replaced them with
1:17 smaller trees
1:18 so the pilot was in 1990 what was fire
1:21 walk with me
1:23 92 so two years later
1:26 here's like a little screen screen grab
1:28 from fire walk with me when she's
1:30 walking past that tree line you see it's
1:32 changed considerably the house has been
1:34 repainted it was like a beige in the
1:36 show but the stairs would still look the
1:38 same here
1:43 or Donna walks right out down the
1:43 staircase as shown here you can kind of
1:46 see what it looked like then
1:48 during fire walk with me
1:50 also back then there was a fence between
1:52 the two yards look the camera was kind
1:53 of low down kind of like waist level
1:56 when both of them were standing right
1:58 here and as stated Laura's house is
2:00 probably about a quarter of a mile third
2:02 of a mile away from here
2:04 so I guess the continuity kind of
2:06 matches up a little bit they were in the
2:07 same neighborhood
2:09 all right we're gonna head over there
2:10 now
2:12 go inside Laura's house which I know
2:13 you're really excited about I can't wait
2:15 this is pretty awesome they're gonna let
2:17 us in there
2:18 should we take the rental car should we
2:19 walk should probably we should probably
2:20 drive over there so we got to be there
2:21 in like two minutes all right made it
2:23 over to the corner of 33 then
2:26 tulip
2:28 Tulalip Ave
2:34 now the very last scene of season three
2:34 season three came out two decades later
2:37 25 27 years yep uh 25 26 years later
2:40 after the end of season two
2:44 and the Very spoiler alert the very
2:45 climactic ending scene
2:48 took place out in front and
2:52 inside this house well at least the door
2:54 was open
2:55 for that ending scene from season three
2:58 and the homeowner was in the show
3:02 she's the one that opened the door
3:05 I played Alice tremend
3:08 they stood right out here
3:10 and Laura had no idea
3:12 what this house was she had lost memory
3:14 of it till the end and she let out that
3:16 blood curdling scream yeah that scene
3:18 that's the same hedge
3:20 right there
3:22 it looks so different when you're here
3:24 in person I think there was a bigger one
3:26 too
3:28 yeah she like laid right here
3:47 they also film quite a few Interiors in
3:47 here and the pilot
3:49 and also firewall with me and then
3:51 season three is quite a lot of they
3:55 remodeled it a lot since the pilot as
3:58 well but we'll be able to match a few
4:00 things up
4:07 yeah so we got a hold of the guy he came
4:07 out that night and he said there's going
4:09 to be a director from Hollywood coming
4:10 out well I didn't think it'd be David
4:12 Lynch because David Lynch was basically
4:14 just going around to all the tweets
4:16 those types of things
4:19 um and I didn't think he I you know I
4:21 just thought he'd send somebody so like
4:23 he goes around January or so uh he's
4:26 gonna show up so it was January 1st wow
4:29 only David yeah so it was January 1st
4:33 and then it was him and Sabrina and
4:37 um Scott Cameron who's his first ad yeah
4:40 and they came in and he just walks in
4:42 and the first thing he's all about
4:43 Aesthetics wood trees all that kind of
4:45 stuff he just walks in and he goes wow
4:47 they don't make him like this before and
4:49 he was just David lynchey you know but
4:52 this is basically
4:54 um we kind of kept it as close as we
4:55 could I mean some guy came in
4:57 and the first thing he looked at was the
4:59 radiator because you can see that in
5:01 fire walk with me oh really so you walk
5:03 in and when
5:05 um Laura comes walking in and her mom's
5:07 here and she's got the groceries and
5:09 stuff that you know yeah so they came
5:12 they uh they filmed in 89 and 19 late
5:16 80s early 90s the lady that lived here
5:19 never allowed people in the house so
5:21 it's like no one had ever seen this so
5:24 you could this all looks familiar I mean
5:25 over there is where Laura was standing
5:27 with the cigarette and her drink and
5:29 Donna came in through what's the quote
5:31 if I had a nickel for every cigarette
5:33 your parents smoked I'd be dead yeah
5:37 the camera's facing we're kind of where
5:39 we're standing right the camera was
5:40 facing this way I think yeah and I've
5:42 got a picture I got a picture of the
5:43 actual screen looking this way but so
5:46 what they had to do is they had to clear
5:47 out this room
5:48 and they had to put um
5:50 cardboard down and then put gold carpet
5:52 so they made the whole room look like
5:55 the pilot yeah those are set Crews
5:58 they put those in for season three
6:02 because Sarah's just sitting here yeah
6:04 see the nicotine stains those set
6:07 curtains those are set curtains so what
6:09 they had to basically do is they had to
6:10 paint the wall Pink
6:13 and then nicotine stain everything in
6:16 the room the radiators the crown molding
6:18 everything picture and stabbed it
6:20 remember oh yeah right now yeah it was
6:23 right here supposedly that's where like
6:25 if it wasn't uh filmed in Hollywood
6:27 that's where Maddie's
6:29 Maddie had her final Glover yeah yeah I
6:33 filmed that here too no they didn't but
6:35 they made it that's what they did is
6:37 they they went to Hollywood so the pilot
6:39 was filmed here fire walk with me yeah
6:41 in fact the funny thing when I watch
6:43 fire walk with me not too long ago was
6:46 um when you're sitting in Laura's room
6:47 they filmed her room though some scenes
6:50 were filmed in that room but they filmed
6:52 her room at
6:54 um in Hollywood but as soon as you open
6:56 up her door and look out into the
6:58 hallway it's my hallway yeah David Lynch
7:00 comes so all of a sudden I'm standing in
7:02 there just doing my thing and he comes
7:04 walking in
7:05 and he goes he goes are you an actress
7:09 and I said no and he goes have you ever
7:10 acted and I said no and he goes would
7:12 you like to do a small part in the movie
7:14 I go sure it's mine so they had to give
7:18 me another picture so I had Cheryl sign
7:20 it oh they took that one that you had
7:23 here right the one that I had and I go
7:24 you guys don't make sure so yeah so she
7:27 I had her sign that for me wow
7:32 yeah I took looking at it from this
7:32 angle definitely looks okay right here
7:35 this is what you're looking at so
7:37 there's the house back in 92.
7:44 and then that's exactly where you're
7:44 looking this is 92 so that would be more
7:46 fire walk with me and I think it was the
7:49 ladies furniture
7:50 because when they were in Monroe he
7:52 filmed there for a couple weeks decided
7:54 he didn't want to use that other house
7:55 but it was weird it was weird about a
7:57 week ago because all of a sudden you
8:00 have to you have to wind this
8:02 and you have to change the needle for
8:04 each record because the records are huge
8:06 and they're really heavy but you have to
8:08 wind it to make it like do a whole
8:10 record and all of a sudden just standing
8:12 here and all of a sudden I can hear
8:15 the record player was just going and it
8:18 scared them
8:20 so I had
8:22 oh my God
8:29 I know and you know what my joy is
8:29 seeing the re the response of people
8:31 when they
8:33 replace the ceiling fan right not the
8:34 same ceiling fan it's you know the base
8:37 is the base of the fan is it's just the
8:40 lights that were taken down to Hollywood
8:41 so those are different lights but the
8:44 base of the fan is still the same oh my
8:45 gosh I know you want to get I know you
8:47 want to get a peek there
8:48 you want to go see Laura's room yeah
8:50 okay just be really super careful as you
8:52 can see these are kind of like narrow
8:54 okay
8:55 yeah turn in that corner and see and
8:57 that is so true I know I've had
9:00 cry I could I mean I'm actually gonna
9:03 write a book with just about fans
9:06 the fans like you know it's
9:09 it's crazy so this is the landing Laura
9:11 was standing on missing pieces where she
9:13 looks up and her face is contorting the
9:15 fan you remember the fan it's talking to
9:18 her it's like
9:24 and her face starts is that in season
9:24 three no that's a missing pieces oh
9:26 gotcha okay her face starts contorting
9:29 like it's entering her body and then her
9:31 mom is standing right down there where
9:33 those pictures are she goes Laura have
9:35 you seen my blue sweater and Laura goes
9:37 mom you're wearing it
9:39 and that pulls her out of her trance
9:41 kind of
9:43 so I haven't watched missing pieces in a
9:45 while it's fire walk with me are they
9:47 are they cut into the moves it's like
9:49 four hours but it makes all the
9:50 difference in the world I bet yeah I've
9:53 only seen that once or twice yeah Cheryl
9:54 just did a um
10:02 so that's the original screen use base
10:02 right there the base of the fan yeah and
10:05 the blades and Blades it's just the
10:07 lights that they took
10:09 they didn't take so that's the original
10:10 blades yeah wow
10:13 really
10:23 really so it's got cobwebs hanging on it
10:23 you see him
10:24 see yeah oh wow yeah look at that
10:36 you know people are you scared to stay
10:36 there and I'm like oh this is I mean but
10:39 I can understand at first I was
10:43 to be honest but I mean when I think of
10:46 the show I think of the staircase it's
10:48 like definitely one of the pivotal
10:50 location yeah Laura going up and down
10:52 the staircase and Sarah too coming up
10:55 here because she goes here and then she
10:57 goes down to this room to look for her
10:58 and I got that uh her voice like the
11:01 tone lowered and slower slowed down yes
11:04 Sarah's room and then he actually does
11:06 come out and flip that switch on yeah to
11:09 turn the fan on but isn't that isn't
11:11 that creepy I just thought oh good I
11:12 don't have to dust that
11:15 yeah he turns that down he gives her
11:17 that milk isn't that weird because
11:18 everybody walks in I did the same thing
11:20 I walked in and I looked up at the fan
11:22 and I thought wow that's really
11:24 different but you have to do your angle
11:25 you can see it from it's about probably
11:28 three or four steps up because most
11:30 people don't realize there's a landing
11:31 right there I never knew that this yeah
11:33 at all I thought it was just nobody does
11:36 but she has to be standing on something
11:39 when it's unbelievable
11:42 check
11:56 wow I gotta show I guess I'm just gonna
11:56 show that over here
11:58 so basically her bed that that big
12:01 dresser wasn't there it's terrifying
12:03 yeah I know it is that's I love it her
12:06 bed came out that way yeah the dresser
12:08 was here
12:09 and what I tell people is I bet you
12:12 don't realize
12:13 that hurt like I took a picture through
12:15 the curtains and I said Laura can see
12:17 Puget Sound oh yeah this is her view
12:20 so things weren't that bad right you
12:23 know I mean
12:28 yeah and the pilot
12:28 Leland's sitting on the bed with a
12:30 pillow right
12:32 he's like her diary do you have to take
12:35 this when she was here I actually
12:37 brought her up here
12:38 she was here and I said Cheryl can I
12:41 to your room and
12:44 that's fine and I go because she's
12:46 it was hard for her like someone asked
12:49 her what is what is your best kiss in in
12:51 Twin Peaks and she goes none of it
12:54 um
12:55 as soon as I put the picture in the
12:57 frame it cracked
12:58 there's a crack right there see
13:01 as soon as I did that and I thought oh I
13:03 gotta change it and I go no if it
13:05 cracked there was a reason it cracked
13:07 you know that's that's David Lynch yeah
13:10 happy accident yes and then he also did
13:13 uh scribble art of Laura and then a girl
13:16 who came here to watch fire walk with me
13:18 did that picture and that's her laying
13:20 on the couch at Donna's yeah faster and
13:22 faster so Laura does actually go down
13:24 out this window
13:26 um down a trellis oh this is the window
13:28 I was wondering if that was this is the
13:31 Bob window right here but she goes down
13:32 the trellis hides behind a bush when her
13:35 dad is coming up the stairs that's the
13:37 window Bob comes in
13:43 so for Halloween I put Bob in the window
13:43 yeah
13:46 yeah I don't know if they're maybe
13:47 fixing up the beach or maybe they're
13:50 worried it's going to get taken out are
13:51 you serious it was it was probably 50
13:53 where Pete martel's out and he's like oh
13:56 I want some Foghorn and he turns your
13:59 log was right here the log was right
14:01 there and I was like what and they moved
14:03 it yeah my car is right there
14:06 so he would have been standing right in
14:08 front of my car when he said what year
14:10 is this yeah but there was like
14:13 all those people out there and I go what
14:15 did they do with you did you did they
14:17 move you up the street or what he goes
14:19 no they moved us up a couple feet and
14:21 then I think they just CG item out so I
14:24 was standing there there's about a
14:25 hundred some people over there and
14:27 people were having parties and they had
14:30 to send a notice around all the people
14:32 that said
14:34 there's gonna be filming someone's going
14:37 to be screaming don't call the cops
14:38 seeing Bob through the mirror yes can
14:41 you see him right there
14:56 and I'll be honest I I live here but
14:56 sometimes I'll leave that door open and
14:58 forget
14:59 and you can just see that presence
15:02 standing there and he's tall too that
15:04 mannequin is like Laura you've got dirt
15:07 on your fingernails wash your hands oh
15:09 we can sit down but not a one of us is
15:11 going to eat until Laura washes sir
15:20 so this is the the kitchen here is
15:20 exactly the same as it was it's just
15:22 then redone so the cabinets are the same
15:24 the island is the original Island so
15:27 this is the original Island my X1 and he
15:29 goes let's pull that out and put a big
15:30 no no no we're gonna keep that and this
15:34 is the exact style and color of the
15:37 phone that she used when she was
15:39 oh right smoking a cigarette yeah so I
15:43 actually have little cigarillos in there
15:44 in case anybody wants to do like so I
15:47 had one girl do the whole
15:48 Sarah Palmer
15:50 Palmer is great oh really yeah yeah wow
15:54 she was good
15:56 so so a fire walk with me this is the
15:59 island this is in the original one it
16:01 was like a little different right
16:02 basically yeah so basically the top was
16:05 a little different someone was smart
16:06 enough to do this oh my goodness got
16:09 this Captain Crunch everything in here
16:11 like seriously is the same maybe like
16:13 the appliances are different but yeah
16:15 and there is really only one scene in
16:17 here that's where she's standing
16:20 you know she gets the news on the phone
16:22 you guys want my daughter made these are
16:25 so good chocolate chip cookies but look
16:28 at the size of those things
16:34 that's amazing
16:34 yeah this is uh so this is in the screen
16:36 use phone this is just a similar phone
16:38 that looks exactly exactly yeah and then
16:41 this one in here I'm really into old
16:43 phones so this one in here is typical
16:45 and then the green dish like so this is
16:48 all set up the way it kind of was
16:51 without it being maybe she's with Leland
16:53 no I bet that's it yeah yeah you know
16:58 do you want to stand there act like
17:00 you're smoking a cigarette what's the
17:01 phone it's funnier when guys do it
17:05 you know the lines because she's like
17:08 have you seen Laura
17:11 oh it's up like this yeah there you go
17:14 maybe she's with Leland yeah I think
17:17 she's probably with Leland
17:18 I'll call this cool
17:21 that's good that's awesome okay so you
17:24 were the you were the second best
17:27 that's where she does the stream too
17:29 right on the phone yes
17:32 you know when she was here too she like
17:35 made the hair in my arms just She's
17:37 creepy she's she's about that tall
17:40 and she just came walking through the
17:41 kitchen there was a tent outside where
17:43 they had coffee and like you know treats
17:46 and stuff and she just went walking
17:48 through the kitchen she was in character
17:49 when she was here because she had a film
17:50 right away when they when when they're
17:53 filming they film and they leave okay
17:56 they don't hang around
17:58 so she had to do her filming that night
18:00 and everybody had to leave the house
18:01 nobody else had to leave the house for
18:03 anything else but when she was in the
18:05 living room watching the video with the
18:07 I got to stand in here because the sound
18:09 guy was right here with his computer so
18:11 when they're filming there's like 30 or
18:12 40 people in your house
18:14 constant coming in going out
18:17 um David and Grace were smoking out
18:19 there
18:20 which is good though come sits perfect
18:23 so this is the Palmer dining room right
18:26 here and this is a poster from party
18:28 teen
18:29 we had a girl from Ireland paint that
18:32 for us
18:33 along with that picture of the house
18:35 over there
18:37 you ever notice that your house looks
18:39 all kind of similar to The Nightmare on
18:41 Elm Street house yes there you know what
18:43 it is it's they're both Dutch Colonials
18:45 yeah very similar
18:48 so this is all just Twin Peaks fan stuff
18:53 you know people making stuff this
18:56 um these this is my ticket to the
18:58 premiere
19:01 I've given away a lot of stuff but
19:03 there's people that just make a bunch of
19:05 stuff and so this is the turkey jerky
19:06 and Zoe McLean signed that so the
19:09 actress that
19:10 that actually filmed that it's a night
19:12 light it says welcome to Twin Peaks
19:14 Isn't that cool that is neat this
19:17 magazine just recent right uh a couple
19:19 years ago okay Cora upstairs did me at
19:22 the door
19:28 I thought he did a good job
19:28 the girl wrote a book that this one
19:30 right here
19:32 and took that picture
19:34 so this is basically interviewing so
19:37 it's like how did Laura's trauma impact
19:40 you as a person
19:41 and there's like
19:44 the people in here that that have
19:47 um stories
19:50 you know to me it was really surreal
19:52 like you're in your own home yeah and
19:55 the ending the last four minutes I mean
19:58 I'm like
20:01 five minutes left
20:03 so all of a sudden I can see him he
20:05 makes it look like
20:06 like this house is five minutes from
20:08 Tweeds so he goes over the bridge and
20:10 all of a sudden he's in this
20:11 neighborhood it's like an hour and a
20:13 half away
20:15 and this is the TV that's now in that's
20:17 my TV same TV it looks bigger here
20:20 though doesn't it it does
20:26 yeah it does there's Sabrina Sutherland
20:26 David would be right here
20:28 um Ruth deshong is the she's in charge
20:31 of all the sets so olali
20:34 um everything everything that happened
20:36 she's in charge of all the sets
20:38 and this is probably the time I know it
20:41 was cool
20:42 there's the Big Green Tree this is the
20:44 only bad thing in the whole thing
20:46 because it was dying it was from
20:47 California and it is shedding everywhere
20:51 it just stunk it had a kind of like
20:59 Michael horse nice great great guy so
20:59 this is when they dropped off the Twin
21:00 Peaks car they brought in up 10 things
21:02 so this was just right before they they
21:04 uh did Hawk scene
21:06 so there's all the dead grass the dead
21:09 bushes I've never been there
21:11 and he goes I've never been invited so
21:13 you can hear me in the background going
21:14 well you're you're invited anytime you
21:17 come in and have some wine and whatever
21:18 I didn't realize that was on the behind
21:20 the scenes oh cool that set is worth it
21:23 just for the interviews
21:26 and then this is a front and center of
21:28 what it looked like
21:33 they covered the good grass with bad
21:33 grass
21:35 it's the whole lawn the whole front lawn
21:42 love that picture of him I just think
21:42 he's drinking some coffee such nice damn
21:45 good coffee
21:47 everybody was so nice I it was just a
21:50 one it was great so this is how your
21:52 lawn normally is and that's how it is
21:56 and it didn't look that way when they
21:58 yeah I mean they transformed everything
22:00 back right am I
22:03 Cameron Sabrina
22:14 too yeah yeah uh Ruth DeJean
22:14 yeah so these are all and again
22:20 uh and they're they're just starting to
22:22 put the bushes in this chair and this
22:24 chair doesn't belong in this house
22:25 because I hate this chair but it's got
22:27 coyote
22:29 so
22:32 he's just sitting there this is this is
22:34 him right before he does a scene look
22:36 how
22:37 calm and Collective he is he looks like
22:40 he looks like Cooper and he's talking
22:42 about his wine and the Mariners and oh
22:45 no that's great you can see the
22:47 cardboard they placed on the ground yes
22:50 the buffet so the table was right in the
22:53 middle Laura would would have been
22:54 sitting there by that door Leland would
22:57 be sitting here
22:58 Sarah would always was at the
23:01 the head so if you can imagine this was
23:04 the yeah and then when I watch fire walk
23:07 with me this is just a funky little
23:09 thing that the doorbell box yeah up top
23:13 that's the original doorbell box so my
23:15 ex yeah because when you're watching
23:17 I've let people watch the the dining
23:19 room scenes here and they're looking
23:22 exactly where they're happening you know
23:24 and you can see that doorbell box so my
23:26 ex goes oh well I redo the kitchen you
23:28 want me to take that out and I go no you
23:29 can actually see a figure just walk by
23:31 so he's real big on um
23:33 oh the other the other thing he told us
23:36 to do too the only other thing he
23:37 directs you on is like Lost Highway
23:39 you've seen that oh yeah okay so when we
23:41 were practicing outside he said okay
23:43 Kyle you start your line Mary you follow
23:45 him so Kyle says something and I
23:47 answered it right away and goes no you
23:49 wait 10 seconds that's why it seems
23:51 pause you can see goes and what is your
23:54 name yeah and I'm just staring at him
23:56 because look at isn't that intimidating
23:58 yes yeah when your eyes are great yeah
24:00 when you're just staring like because
24:02 you can edit time out but you can't edit
24:06 time in and it creates anxiety yeah When
24:09 You're Expecting somebody to answer and
24:11 they're just staring at you it's not
24:12 because they don't know their lines it's
24:14 because like Lost Highway with Bill
24:15 Pullman and the creepy dude
24:18 he goes I'm in your house now yeah the
24:20 guy Robert Blake yeah and then Bill
24:22 Pullman's just looking at him kind of
24:24 like that's creepy well I like when that
24:27 I find it creepy too he's like when
24:28 you're like Whispering off camera yes
24:32 that was my ex so I tell everybody my
24:35 real acting job is calling that
24:39 because he was not a honey
24:42 it wasn't what I did at the door oh man
24:45 but he had his directing was to stand
24:48 here and reach forward like that David
24:50 had his computer right here he was
24:52 sitting right here
24:55 um and I don't think Peter Deming was
24:57 right in the middle and there was a big
25:00 cable right there and he sat here and he
25:02 goes okay when I tell you he's going to
25:04 knock at the door when I tell you to go
25:05 to the door then you go to the door
25:07 that's why there's that pause right very
25:09 long drawn out very drawn out
25:11 everything's drawn out you know Slow
25:14 Burn yeah
25:16 that is amazing that's the same door
25:17 that's so cool yeah see and the reason
25:19 this this is what I like is in in the
25:23 show you can see this because I know
25:24 this is here
25:26 this nail sticking out
25:27 because this wreath isn't there
25:32 so that nail is probably worth some
25:32 money yeah you guys want to buy it
25:36 that's great um we'll probably get a
25:39 shot of this as a trellis still over
25:42 here no it's not okay no but if you want
25:44 to a picture of the side she was saying
25:46 there was a big hedge here that moved a
25:48 couple years ago but it was here for a
25:49 while so that's the window right there
25:50 that she climbed out of
25:52 and the trellis is gone
25:59 she was amazingly nice and she does
25:59 tours of her home
26:00 he just
26:02 look it up online
26:04 and book a tour
26:06 for a minimal fee
26:08 well worth it well worth it
26:12 what'd you think
26:13 I don't know what to think yet that was
26:15 awesome it's gonna take some time of
26:16 probably a couple re-watches of
26:19 everything and then I'll probably
26:21 be able to process what just happened
26:24 it's not too often that an owner of a
26:26 screen use filming location houses that
26:28 kind
26:29 that's awesome
26:31 and she was also stating that that is
26:34 the screen use hedge also
26:37 down here at the end

27:46 the book house they never showed this
27:49 and this in the same frame however this
27:52 is really called The Roadhouse
27:55 they kept the name the Interiors were
27:57 not filmed in here but there is an angle
28:00 going across the bridge looking down
28:02 I'll show that in a second I'm gonna go
28:04 over here and kind of line this up where
28:05 all the motorcycles were now this is
28:06 pretty much the angle I can't tell if
28:08 this is a residence or if it's just like
28:09 a shed

28:52 it's a lot busier than I expected when

28:54 desolate area this is a very busy
28:56 intersection this is looking at it from
28:58 the side angle
29:06 and if you watch that scene this over
29:06 here used to have a staircase
29:08 leading up to the balcony but the
29:10 staircase is gone now
29:12 and the building was painted a different
29:14 color then
29:15 as well with the staircase went down
29:18 right along here
29:19 looking at this a little bit closer
29:22 looks like they kind of redid the whole

29:26 over on the far left side as well and
29:28 they got rid of that really great old
29:30 Neon

29:32 but you can definitely tell it's a spot

29:36 on where we were standing so they were
29:38 not parked in the car over where we were
29:40 over there they were parked in the car
29:41 directly behind us right here
29:44 because if you look at it from this
29:46 angle the neon was on the side of the
29:48 build they didn't remodel the building
29:50 we're looking into the Sun but we're
29:52 looking at it from this angle
29:54 mystery solved because when you look at
29:56 that scene
29:57 you can see this little overhang here
29:59 you can see this there's the stairwell
30:01 okay I got confused and this is the door
30:04 that they that everyone walks in here
30:06 characters walk by here they walk right
30:08 in here and the big neon was up there
30:10 which means when they were parked in the
30:12 automobile they were over here which
30:14 makes more sense because I was thinking
30:15 why are they parked in the road they
30:17 were parked over here near that near the
30:19 river and the trees
30:21 just over that bridge like a couple
30:22 hundred yards where we just were
30:24 is the diner haps
30:27 where they ate a meal inside and it
30:29 looks like it's closed but this looks
30:31 identical to how it was a fact
30:34 is this the same sign here this flower
30:36 Boutique where the
30:37 the sign was it looks a little larger
30:39 than it was though however
30:45 but that's the angle right there our
30:45 building was painted a different color
30:47 it's kind of par for the course of a lot
30:48 of these spots that we're going to
30:51 that is so cool this is a fire walk with
30:54 me see him standing right up against the
30:57 signage there you see the Hap's neon and
31:00 everything the windows still kind of
31:01 match up
31:16 oh I think it is I can already see from
31:16 here okay we peeked in the window and
31:18 100 we're both confident that the
31:20 Interiors were in here in fact you could
31:22 even see the bar where Kiefer and Chris

31:32 sat the bar right in here that's gonna
31:34 be very tough to see it because the sun
31:36 is kind of glaring and we have our
31:38 reflection in the window but right here
31:40 on this very corner is where the stools

31:48 Behind These poles the red poles they
31:50 are still there
31:52 and that's where
31:53 the bar would have been
31:55 from the diner trying to get it without
31:57 a glare

32:04 exterior and Interiors are all the same
32:08 all the doors are locked too we're
32:10 hoping we could kind of get in
32:11 match up some stuff but pretty epic

33:33 intro of pretty much every episode
33:40 gonna take this Footbridge across also
33:40 the lodge the exteriors of the lodge
33:43 the Great Northern
33:45 right over here no Interiors but all the
33:48 exteriors only shown a couple times
33:50 from this thing let me try to match
33:52 something up too now we are kind of
33:53 elevated above it but now it's called
33:54 the Salish Lodge and Spa but they have
33:57 the sign for the Great Northern right
33:58 down there in that spot
34:05 that's been remodeled I believe this
34:05 building over here has been added on
34:08 a pilot 1990 right was it 90 yeah
34:12 but where Audrey walks out of
34:15 on the way to school see it right there
34:17 you can see the two windows that are
34:19 facing that direction and the smoke
34:22 smoke top of the fireplace and
34:24 everything she walks right out of there
34:26 there's a lot less cars now and then
34:27 where she gets in the car you can kind
34:30 of see the kind of unique structure of
34:31 the building there they've added on to
34:33 it a lot also I'm trying to get this
34:35 while I'm standing on this bridge and
34:36 everyone that's walking over
34:38 feels like there's an earthquake
34:39 happening right below us this bridge is
34:41 very very
34:42 shaky but she gets in the car right
34:44 there kind of like more at that angle
34:52 still kind of looks the same even though
34:52 they've added a lot on just noticing
34:53 this brick little walkway is still the
34:55 same we're gonna try to match up exactly
34:58 where she was standing before she got in
35:00 the car you could see this all kind of
35:02 looks the same through here looking over
35:04 that way that's the that's what it looks
35:06 like all right after watching this
35:07 multiple times seeing exactly where she
35:09 walked we are pretty confident that her
35:13 foot was right here next to this little
35:16 indentation next to this L-shaped in
35:18 this small little box but the giveaway
35:20 is where this crack is combined with
35:23 that

35:31 crack there's that L-shaped and it's the

35:38 this lengthy rectangle brick
35:48 from the lodge itself is this very
35:48 impressive waterfall here which could be
35:51 seen in every intro every version of the
35:52 intro
35:54 and then later on in the first season in
35:56 the Pilot in the first season you see it
35:58 from this angle kind of closer up but
36:00 there's a couple times where they show
36:01 like a wide wide angle also and you see
36:03 the lodge off in the distance but in the
36:06 season was a season three where they do
36:07 like the the drone over the top of it
36:09 looking down

36:14 pretty amazing waterfall
36:20 just hearing the theme song in my head
36:20 right now Tom moved up to a different
36:22 section of the Overlook there's also a
36:24 lot of people up here that Park and walk

36:41 angle is kind of down like this

40:04 used to be a railroad Trestle bridge but
40:07 now I believe you can walk up there
40:10 okay there's other people walking up
40:11 there so let's go up there if you look
40:12 off in the woods you can see where the
40:13 tracks the train tracks connected they
40:16 tore that out
40:17 and is going this way
40:19 you're recreating her walking scene
40:27 I think it's right here yeah because you
40:27 can see these mountains off in the
40:29 the train tracks would be right here
40:35 I think they were down probably down
40:36 filming up and through at least for the
40:39 far away angles they were on the ground
40:41 kind of looking up at the
40:42 snow mountain peaks in the distance now
40:44 it's kind of interesting because she was
40:45 walking that direction
40:47 so walking that way however when the guy
40:50 is doing the film turning the flip

40:57 could have just connected a little

41:31 find where the motorcycle scene is using

41:58 and watching the scene again appears as

42:01 we're just going off an assumption we

42:05 put up a fake traffic light right there
42:07 in the middle and you see this pole
42:10 pulls over she jumps off the back of the
42:12 bike then kind of lays here in the
42:14 middle of the road and you can kind of
42:16 see a very unique tree it looks like two
42:18 poles
42:19 off in the distance see if we can find
42:20 that hey looking at this there's
42:21 actually two trees
42:23 now this has been decades ago so the
42:25 trees have grown a lot but there's two
42:27 trees side by side and she does run up
42:29 and incline Hill which means
42:32 she would have ran off that way it could
42:34 have been any of those trees that's
42:36 right over there but I think you're
42:37 right this is the spot with the
42:39 where he pulled over right here on the
42:41 side and she ran off in the woods and
42:42 here's another Bridge
42:44 used in one of the scenes as well where
42:46 they're being chased across here are
42:48 they on the motorcycle through here
42:57 it's kind of a stretch but we're looking
42:57 for the train car
43:00 it could be anywhere through here there
43:02 are a lot of old trains sitting down the
43:04 ways from The Railroad Museum which has
43:07 a lot of newer trains now in the movie
43:09 it was an old beat up
43:12 train which I do not see anything that
43:14 matches up through here so it might
43:16 still be a mystery okay went ahead and
43:18 parked the car now we're walking along
43:21 some of these look so similar but can't
43:23 really match any of them up
43:34 now obviously I know over the years
43:34 these could have been moved but there
43:36 are three sets of tracks so you got the
43:38 one they're all standing on the one over
43:39 to the left and one other to the right
43:40 which does match up to this general area
43:42 got the one set of tracks the second set
43:45 of tracks there that are empty and the
43:47 third set of tracks that the other
43:50 trains are on so this would be the area
43:51 here's what it looked like it was really

44:01 no telling where this is could have just
44:03 been I would imagine it's not destroyed

49:46 of stuff alluding to the show they
49:47 really embrace the show in fact when we
49:49 walk in the server was like oh I can see
49:50 you're taking pictures you're here for
49:51 Twin Peaks so we were not being very
49:53 just we were not being very secretive
49:56 in our in our ploy to have some
49:58 delicious pie
49:59 but mine was really good I give uh I
50:01 give the pie uh definitely a big thumbs
50:02 up and I don't normally get completely
50:04 black coffee normally I'll get cream and
50:06 sugar in it but because in the show he
50:08 drank black coffee I went with the full
50:09 on non-creamer non-sugar in the coffee
50:13 and the pie was sweet enough to kind of
50:15 kind of worked out
50:16 highly recommend this place
50:18 and that's about it any other final
50:20 thoughts of inside inside the Double R

50:25 it's like you're in Twin Peaks it really
