0:18 It's my second channel, daily vlog

0:20 channel. It's the daily woo.

0:30 I've got an idea. I've been doing these

0:30 edited vlogs for about a week to 10 days

0:33 now. And I started the original

0:37 conception of it was to use my Canon

0:41 70D. And I've been thinking a lot lately

0:44 about the vlog channel versus the Adam

0:46 the Woo channel. I've been trying to

0:48 incorporate a lot of unedited style into

0:51 the new edited clips. And this is where

0:55 my idea comes in. I am filming

0:58 currently. You are watching this vlog on

1:01 my new iPhone a few days ago. I had a

1:04 problem with my iPhone 5. It was not

1:07 charging. This problem had been going on

1:09 for several weeks. Got worse and worse

1:11 and worse and worse and worse. I was

1:13 available for an upgrade. So, I got the

1:15 new phone that I have now. This iPhone

1:18 6S Plus is absolutely

1:22 amazing. and I don't feel like I'm using

1:24 the technology and using it to my full

1:27 advantage. So, I have decided to start

1:30 filming the vlogs.

1:33 95% of the daily vlogs here on the Daily

1:36 Woo channel will be filmed on this

1:40 iPhone 6S Plus instead of walking around

1:43 every day all day with that gargantuan

1:46 Canon 70D, which is amazing. It'd be a

1:50 lot easier to use this

1:53 this

1:54 here for the vlogs. There will be some

1:57 exceptions in certain cases. That guy is

2:00 yelling up

2:01 there.

2:08 Like that guy's barking like a dog. I

2:08 have a lot of ideas for the Adam the Woo

2:10 channel. A lot of travel plans and a lot

2:13 of abandoned places, a lot of filming

2:15 locations that I want to dedicate a lot

2:16 of time to. So, I want to turn the vlog

2:19 channel. I know the last week, last two

2:22 weeks have been very heavy around the

2:24 house, editing, getting my taxes done,

2:26 getting my computer fixed, the

2:28 upgrading, my phone, my old phone, my my

2:32 iPhone 5 kind of crapped out on me, so I

2:35 had to get this new phone. Now, I'm

2:37 going to take full advantage of this

2:39 fully armed and operational technology.

2:43 So, I will be using the Canon

2:46 70D to film my main channel stuff. I got

2:49 some good stuff on the

3:00 horizon. All right, I think this will

3:00 work. Purchased this selfie stick and

3:02 the small Joby Gorilla Pod, but I'm only

3:06 going to use this part of the selfie

3:11 stick. Then I'm going to take the Joby,

3:13 the small Joby Gorilla Pod, and the top

3:17 part of the selfie stick and connect the

3:20 two. Like

3:27 so. Okay, I think that worked. Check it

3:27 out in the mirror

3:36 here. That's not a very good example.

3:36 might be a little bit better of an

3:37 example if I use the mirror in the

3:42 wood. I have the phone mounted on this.

3:47 Not really sure how I feel about about

3:49 this really though. It's kind of kind of

3:51 cheap, kind of flimsy. So, there you

3:55 go. This will be a lot easier.

3:59 This will be a lot easier, especially

4:02 going to theme parks and stuff where you

4:03 can't really take a huge gargantuan

4:05 camera in. And this is cool because I

4:07 can wrap it around a tree, a fence post,

4:09 set it on the ground like

4:13 so. So, I think it'll work out. Here's a

4:18 better example. Right now, it's mounted

4:20 on the knobs on there, right here in the

4:24 bathroom. You can mount this thing

4:26 anywhere.

4:43 would definitely like to go to Michigan.

4:45 In fact, I have this brainstorm idea

4:48 about traveling a lot more now that I'm

4:50 starting to get things in order on the

4:52 home front. Kind of. I'd really like to

4:55 be at home two weeks a month and

4:57 traveling two weeks a month. Michigan

5:00 sounds awesome, especially like Detroit.

5:02 So much abandoned stuff, but not just

5:04 Detroit. There's a lot of other stuff

5:05 there, like you were mentioning, filming

5:07 locations. Hopefully, as the year

5:09 progresses, things will get a little bit

5:11 easier traveling wise. I can hit the

5:14 open road. So, yes, Michigan. Wow, that

5:19 top of my door. Top of my door is pretty

5:22 dirty. Hello, Mr. The Woo! I have a

5:25 question for you. All the way from my

5:27 tiny room in Japan, since Batman vs.

5:30 Superman came on, I've been wondering

5:32 who would win in a fight. The Energizer

5:35 Bunny or the Noi from the Domino's? Do

5:38 you think you'll ever let the Homestead

5:40 go and go back to living in your van and

5:42 circling the globe? Or do you think

5:44 you'll probably keep a homestead going

5:47 no matter what? That's a really good

5:49 question, and to be honest with you, I

5:51 think about it all the time. Should I

5:53 stay? Should I go? What should I do? The

5:55 beauty of my life currently is I have

5:57 nothing really holding me back. Whether

5:58 I stay in this home, whether I stay in

6:01 Southern California. Currently, like I

6:03 was saying in the other question, I

6:05 would like to get to the point where I

6:07 stay at my home for 2 weeks a month and

6:09 then 2 weeks a month travel everywhere

6:12 across the country, maybe even to other

6:14 areas, cross the Great Seas, overseas.

6:18 Is it the Great Seas? Either way, that's

6:21 what I would like to get to the point to

6:22 do. But you never really know. Maybe

6:23 there will come a time when all of this,

6:26 all of the

6:29 homestead, as you put it, does not

6:31 exist. And I am back in the van. I am

6:33 not completely opposed to that. Just

6:35 currently at this point in my life, I'm

6:38 trying something different than what I'm

6:40 used to and trying to build a core home

6:43 base here in Southern California. How

6:46 long did it take you to get comfortable

6:47 in front of the camera? I can still

6:50 remember those first few videos I did

6:52 and especially when I started this

6:53 second channel, my daily vlog channel,

6:55 and I was out and about in public

6:57 filming while there were people, hordes

6:59 of people behind me looking at me

7:02 awkwardly. It's very unusual to get past

7:04 the awkwardness, the shyness, and

7:07 devoting yourself to focusing on the

7:10 camera. And that is the key tip. Focus

7:13 on who you are talking to, not on

7:16 everyone else around you. Eventually,

7:19 you will start to incorporate those who

7:21 are in your back general surroundings

7:24 into the vlog as well. But do not be

7:26 discouraged by those around you. Do not

7:28 be embarrassed. Just do it. Especially

7:30 now that it's 2016, a lot of people are

7:33 vlogging. People are more used to it

7:35 than they used to be. Back 3 or 4 years

7:38 ago was even more awkward. You go to a

7:40 public place and people looked at you

7:41 like you were some kind of an alien. The

7:44 biggest tip is just to do it over and

7:46 over and over and over and over.

7:49 Repetitiveness eventually you will not

7:51 have that weird stage fright shyness.

7:54 And that has been the first edition of

7:56 Ask Adam the Woo. I apologize. I look

7:58 like I'm half asleep. I had a major

8:00 headache. I took a little catnap right

8:02 there on the couch. I apologize for the

8:04 sleepiness. And look into my eyes. See

10:05 didn't find anything today. I did see a

10:05 couple of the Harry Potter DVDs in

10:07 there. They were kind of scratched up.

10:08 I've been thinking about starting to

10:11 watch the Harry Potter series. I've

10:12 never seen any of them, but because

10:14 Universal Hollywood is opening the new

10:15 Harry Potter area, I feel like I should

10:18 watch the whole series. I might go get

10:21 them. I might go get the Blu-rays and

10:23 start start the entire series just so

10:25 I'm up on my Harry Potter

10:29 knowledge. Someone's honking at me. Look
