0:02 Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here as
0:02 the recording of this. It is Monday,
0:05 October 6th,
0:08 2025. Got my Fletch shirt on today. I am
0:12 going to go do some record shopping and
0:14 possibly cassette tape shopping because
0:16 I have a cassette tape player in one of
0:19 my rooms. Record player in another room.
0:23 Going to go to a couple different record
0:25 shops. It has been raining pretty much
0:28 non-stop. It did stop for a brief moment
0:30 right now, but it there are some
0:31 downpours on the horizon according to
0:34 the weather predictions. Got my piping
0:37 hot caffeinated beverage. Going to meet
0:40 up with some friends. Going to do some
0:41 record shopping. See where the day
0:43 leads. And then later tonight, depending
0:45 on the weather, if there is a lull in
0:48 the storms, I'm going to put up my
0:50 lights to illuminate some of the
0:53 skeletons I have in my Halloween yard
0:55 that I put up the other day. So, I
0:57 ordered some illuminated lights. Put
1:00 those up a little bit later. Uh, weather
1:04 weather permitting. Let's have ourselves
1:07 a day. Inviting you to join me. It's
1:09 good to have you here, shall we?
1:13 So, pretty much October's in Florida are
1:15 full of rain. Sometimes you get
1:17 hurricanes. Last October was a pretty
1:21 pretty rambunctious hurricane season. No
1:24 hurricanes yet, but I would imagine
1:25 there'll probably be one before All
1:27 Hallow's Eve.
1:30 A lot of wet grass, a lot of mud, a lot
1:33 of standing water, a lot of puddles.
1:36 This is not a puddle. This is just a
1:37 retention pond lake, the fountain there.
1:42 All right, getting caffeinated. I'm
1:44 going to get moving.
1:46 The back side of the Art Deco 7-Eleven
1:49 right here.
1:51 So, over there looks clear, right? Well,
1:53 there's kind of a clearing. I'll say
1:55 it's clear, but there is a clearing and
1:57 clouds. All right, a little time has
1:59 passed.
2:01 I'm over here now at the corner of
2:02 Orange and Colonial.
2:04 Dune Buggy Jim is here. Son Jake is
2:07 here.
2:10 Greetings from Orlando. I really like
2:12 this mural. So, they have some record
2:14 shops on their agenda. I'm kind of along
2:16 for the ride. Met up at their place.
2:23 But I like this mural because you got
2:23 the fountain over there at Lake Eola
2:26 with the swan boats. You got Epcot
2:28 there. You got the oranges. You got the
2:30 TG Lee Milk District right here, which
2:31 is down the road.
2:35 But take a look at this relic of the
2:36 past from Iry. Wet n Wild. I like that.
2:40 You got the Wet N Wild.
2:42 Then you got the Orlando Magic.
2:45 Then you got a barbecue place. So, I'm
2:46 not sure what barbecue place that is,
2:48 but
2:49 I think I'm going to try to get a New
2:51 Found Glory record. I saw New Found
2:52 Glory yesterday at Epcot. And there's an
2:55 album, my favorite album came out 25
2:58 years ago. I think it came out in 2001
3:01 from New Found Glory.
3:04 And I've never owned it on vinyl. I used
3:05 to have it on CD. And I had a car. I'll
3:08 tell the story. If they have it in here,
3:09 I'll tell the story about how I wrecked
3:11 my car soon after buying that that CD
3:14 from Newfound Glory. I put I had a car
3:16 at the time. I just got it. Put a sound
3:19 system in it. Never have I ever invested
3:21 into a sound system. I put some good
3:22 speakers and went to a sound system shop
3:25 and
3:26 put a some good speakers on a car I had
3:29 turn of the century and I bought the New
3:32 Found Glory album that had just come
3:34 out. I think it was maybe their second
3:36 album
3:37 and was listening to that and a couple
3:39 days after that I wrecked my car. Total
3:41 my car. And every time I think of that
3:43 album, think of me wrecking wrecking my
3:45 car. This is called Uncle Tony's Donut
3:49 Shop.
3:51 Uncle Tony. I've never been in here.
3:53 Uncle Tony's Donut Shop. And I guess
3:55 because a record looks like a donut,
3:56 that's where they get the name. This was
3:57 established in 2014.
4:00 All in all, more of a used record store.
4:03 They had a lot of older stuff,
4:04 especially in the back. They had a
4:06 massive selection of older records in
4:09 the back. In fact, the ones in the back,
4:11 they had an entire box. It was $50 that
4:14 you could get
4:18 if you wanted to if you wanted to
4:18 purchase a entire box in the back. It
4:20 was $50. Did not get an entire box, but
4:23 did get did get a few things here from
4:25 the Uncle Tony's doughut shop. Going to
4:28 go buy quite a few. There's a three or
4:30 four record stores on the agenda today.
4:32 But I did get I did get a couple things.
4:34 I got two records and I got a cassette
4:37 tape. So, worked out pretty good.
4:41 Can't go wrong with a Molly Hatchet,
4:43 greatest hits on cassette tape for three
4:46 bucks. And also ZZ Top. Dare I say
4:49 probably one of the if not the most
4:51 famous and I don't know if it's the best
4:55 album, but definitely uh probably the
4:56 most popular album. Eliminator. So many
4:58 good songs. Easy top there. And take a
5:01 look at this. Let me flip this over.
5:04 B. Midler, the Divine Miss, Divine
5:07 Madness.
5:08 There. Here. There she is right there.
5:10 Wedged in between Mount Rushmore
5:14 on vinyl. This was like uh I think
5:16 everything total was like 15 bucks for
5:18 the two records in the cassette.
5:21 Some good stuff. All right. Arrived over
5:23 at Park Cab CDs.
5:32 Electric vehicle over there fueling up.
5:32 I think probably just getting a snack at
5:34 the food mart. This is Park Cap Cities.
5:36 used to be on Park Avenue. It's not on
5:39 Park Avenue anymore, but that's why it
5:40 still holds the name Park A CDs.
5:43 They got a good selection of new stuff
5:45 in here as well. So, trying to get the
5:47 self-titled New Found Glory came out in
5:49 2000 on vinyl. My favorite of the from
5:53 that band. I mean, I like all their
5:54 albums, but that's that's the one that
5:56 holds a special place in my heart from
5:57 25 years ago.
6:04 All right, so they do not have the one
6:04 I'm looking for.
6:06 These are the ones that they have.
6:07 Screen to your stereo. Makes me sick.
6:11 Make the most of it. But this is a
6:13 re-release. This came out many years
6:15 ago. They released it. Came out in 2000
6:17 and 20 and they re-released it a year
6:19 ago in 2024. I really like this album.
6:22 It has all the cover songs from the
6:23 movies. The thing you do, never ending
6:25 story, Sydney Locker's Goonies are good
6:27 enough. Don't want to miss a thing.
6:29 Glory of love. Everything I do.
6:32 So I'm going to get this. came out the
6:34 same year as that self-titled 25 years
6:36 ago as well. So, I'll get this. I didn't
6:39 realize they re-released this on on
6:41 vinyl. So, let me grab that.
6:44 Keep I'm still going to go buy a couple
6:45 more stores, so maybe I'll get lucky and
6:47 find the one I'm looking for. But, this
6:49 is the next best thing. I've listened to
6:51 this like a million times.
6:53 >> Used to have it on CD, different album
6:56 cover obviously since before the
6:57 re-release and then obviously you can
6:59 stream it. But, yeah. All right. got a
7:02 couple different ones. I ended up
7:03 picking up my favorite Bad Religion
7:04 album, Recipe for Hate. I don't know
7:06 what it is about that album. That's the
7:07 one I listened to out of all the Bad
7:10 Religion albums. And I've never owned it
7:11 on vinyl, so went ahead and picked that
7:13 up. Also got the Orlando Weekly, not The
7:16 Fall Guy, The Fall Guide
7:20 right here. Yeah. Okay, that's kind of
7:22 nice they had that. And that still on
7:26 the hunt though for the the first album
7:28 from 2000. I was also looking for Shy
7:30 Hallude, which is Chad from Newf Found
7:31 Glory. He was in a hardcore band called
7:34 Shy Helude, and he put an album or two
7:36 out with them, but they didn't have any
7:37 Shy Helude albums
7:40 inside Park AB records. But be kind of
7:42 cool to own one of those two
7:44 pre Well, some some during New Found
7:47 Glory. I think he joined Shy Halude
7:49 again later on when I was in Newound
7:51 Glory, but before New Found Glory, he
7:53 was in Shy Halude and then during New
7:54 Found Glory, but he hasn't been with him
7:56 for a while.
7:57 Oh yeah, since I'm in the area, I
8:00 suggested Beefy King and everyone agreed
8:05 we're going to Beefy King. Voted Orlando
8:09 Weekly's best of 2025. I cannot say
8:12 enough positive things about Beefy King.
8:15 Highly recommend
8:17 the Beefy King.
8:32 Yeah, this is next level.
8:32 >> I don't know if I've ever got it with
8:33 the cheese before.
8:35 >> I like this piece right here on just the
8:38 escape right there. Look at that. Right
8:40 on top. Got the tots.
8:43 >> Mhm.
8:43 >> Got the tots.
8:45 Jake got ham.
8:48 Oh, I never didn't even know they had
8:50 ham.
8:56 Ham sauce there. Look at that steam
8:56 coming off of there.
8:57 >> Corn beef. Look at that.
8:58 >> You got corn beef.
8:59 >> Corn beef.
9:01 >> All right. Have now made it over to
9:03 Retro Records
9:05 in the Milk District, not far from where
9:07 we just were at. Beefy King.
9:12 I first learned about this place 3 or 4
9:14 months ago. Stopped off here, but
9:16 evidently it's been open for many years.
9:18 I just never realized. All right. Got I
9:21 didn't get any records. Didn't get any
9:22 CDs, but I got a couple old cassettes
9:24 that I used to have in 1991.
9:27 17 years old. Got my first car and I had
9:30 both of these cassette tapes and now I
9:32 have them again. Debbie Gibson out of
9:34 the blue and then Amy Grant.
9:44 Why not bring back some memories? Have a
9:44 wide variety of music types.
9:54 Next, I just need to get Tiffany
9:54 right here on the offramp. Waiting for
9:56 the light to change off I4. This is the
9:59 Advent Health Facility. Now, this used
10:01 to be
10:02 Holyland
10:05 themed attraction. Covered it many times
10:09 when it was sitting there. Well, it was
10:11 open for a while. Went a couple times
10:12 when it was open and also visited many
10:14 times when it was abandoned.
10:17 It was all right here. They leveled it
10:19 and now is an advent health.
10:39 Look at that.
10:40 Looks like property they owned over
10:48 The parking lot over there has been sold
10:48 and now they're building something over
10:50 there across from the 7-Eleven.
10:58 The back passenger seat.
10:58 More Holy Land.
11:07 And I just made it back home. I am now
11:07 going to put my stuff away that I
11:09 purchased today and then head
11:12 back out into the yard
11:15 and put up some lights that I got. Some
11:17 solar powered lights that arrived and
11:19 some light up solar powered ghosts.
11:24 So, put some stuff away and come back
11:26 out here momentarily.
11:29 All right, I got my little cassette tape
11:31 section going on over here in the room.
11:33 Got the AMFM player I got at the
11:37 Celebration garage sales and porch sales
11:39 the other day. It's a tape deck around
11:41 the side over here. So, I'm not going to
11:44 go crazy with the cassette tapes, but
11:47 got a couple for when I'm in this room.
11:49 We just put a little retro cassette on.
11:53 Nice.
11:55 Yeah, I've been wanting this for a
11:56 while. I like most our albums, but
11:59 something about this one, I think I've
12:00 listened to this the most out of all of
12:02 them.
12:08 So, I got that. There's the inside
12:08 cover. A little splattered colored vinyl
12:11 there. Here's the Newfound Glory from
12:14 the Screen Deer Stereo Volume 1. Again,
12:18 I used to have this on CD.
12:21 I listened to this so many times, but
12:23 never had it on vinyl. This is the
12:24 re-release. It came out last year in
12:26 2024.
12:28 The original version in 2000. This is
12:31 what the CD insert looked like. So, they
12:34 put that in the in there. It's
12:36 interesting they reissued it with a
12:39 different
12:41 different cover. So, you got Titanic
12:43 there, the Iceberg, you got Goonies
12:46 right there
12:48 and a few other ones on there, but
12:50 that's the one I remember. And then also
12:52 got B M B M B M B M B M B M B M B M B M
12:53 B M Biddler,
12:54 not colored vinyl, just standard record
12:57 and ZZ Top Eliminator.
13:00 some couple cassette tapes and one, two,
13:02 three, four records. All right, I had
13:05 these on my porch, what I thought was in
13:07 the sun most of the day, except there
13:10 has not been any sun for the last few
13:13 days in Central Florida. So, I cannot
13:16 get the solar powered ghosts to turn on.
13:19 There's a few of them and the solar
13:21 powered mechanisms right down there. And
13:24 I also added a few of these, these old
13:26 spotlights that are solar powered. None
13:29 of them are turning on now. I tested
13:32 them out yesterday a little sunnier and
13:34 they were working before I put them out
13:36 in the yard. Now they're not working.
13:39 And I also added one over here by
13:42 Frankie.
13:44 But I just think there was no sun to
13:45 charge it up today.
13:51 Yeah. I don't know. They're just not
13:52 turning on. There's like a little
13:53 There's a switch on the back of the
13:55 panel here underneath here.
13:59 But if you click on that,
14:02 it's not working. I just don't think
14:04 it's got any juice today. So, they
14:06 probably don't hold a a large charge.
14:08 So, I guess if there's no sun during the
14:09 day, you just don't get any any light at
14:12 night.
14:14 I'll just see what happens tomorrow. And
14:15 then I'll try to click them on tomorrow
14:19 That's a little disappointing.
14:21 That's the only thing I can equate it to
14:22 is when I tested them out when they got
14:25 here a couple days ago, I had them out
14:26 for a while in the sun and they turned
14:29 on on the porch,
14:31 the second level of the porch. But then
14:33 today there's been no sun and they
14:35 didn't get any juice. Even though the
14:38 pads were in the in the area where they
14:41 should have got sun, didn't get any sun
14:43 cuz it's been not a shred of sunlight
14:46 the whole day.
14:48 So, this big skeleton at some point will
14:50 be illuminated, but not today, skeleton.
14:52 Not today.
14:55 Sorry.
15:01 We're out for a ride in Mini Marge. Uh,
15:01 glorified golf cart trying to find some
15:04 deer. It's dusk.
15:06 Oh, there's a gator.
15:09 I see a gator over there.
15:17 Let me turn around.
15:17 Now, over at the lakefront near
15:18 downtown, Lake Reinhardt, the gators
15:22 usually will stay up, but you get to
15:24 some of these smaller little lakes and
15:27 other areas.
15:29 Sometimes if you get too close, they
15:30 submerge themselves. They're not used to
15:33 people.
15:35 But if look right there,
15:41 it's tough to see, but there's a right
15:41 in the center of the screen. See a
15:44 little teeny gator head.
15:46 Very tough to see. Very tough to see.
15:55 Been a little while since I see a gator
15:55 celebration.
15:57 Oh, holy cow.
16:01 That bird was up there and it just
16:04 dropped from the branch into the water
16:07 and now it's submerged.
16:10 What the heck just happened?
16:21 Where you at, bird?
16:21 That was very weird.
16:31 Did you see that, Gator?
16:31 Did you see that?
16:34 That was so strange.
16:40 I don't even know if I got that on
16:40 camera, but that was that was
16:41 interesting.
16:48 came out looking for deer and I see a
16:48 little teeny tiny gator over here and
16:51 then I saw a bird plummet the side of
16:53 the tree into the water.
17:11 [sighs] Oh, this is awesome.
17:11 Look.
18:12 Let's see if I can find more.
18:12 There's some more.
18:42 I know. Golf cart's making some weird
18:42 noises, isn't it, dear
20:32 Oh, that one's got some horns.
