0:23 Welcome everyone. I'm in Florida today
0:23 right here off a main thoroughare a US
0:26 highway. It splits two ways. And in the
0:29 middle of the splitting area lies this
0:32 wooded region. Right past this gate and
0:35 around through here lies something
0:38 unfinished and fantastic. So join me as
0:41 I go back in the wooded area and battle
0:43 some spiders, some fire ants, hopefully
0:47 no ticks. Join me, shall you?
1:00 Look at this. What's up,
1:00 buddy? This guy wants to eat my face
1:02 off. All that traffic has no earthly
1:05 clue that all this is back here. All
1:08 they see is
1:09 woods. Woods and weeds. That's a pretty
1:14 fantastic tree formation. That's pretty
1:17 cool. I love some nature. In this huge
1:21 wooded area, there's a secret path. And
1:24 what lies down that secret path? That's
1:26 right, you guessed it. A gargantuan
1:29 concrete high
1:48 This was actually a proposed cross
1:50 Florida Canal bridge right here in
1:53 Santos, Florida. That's the pie symbol
1:56 there. The cars would have gone over
1:57 those. They never finished it. It never
1:59 happened. But they're still sitting here
2:02 rotting away. Look at this. The canal
2:04 was going to go right through Florida.
2:06 That never happened, of course. And look
2:09 at the size of this ship. That ship is
2:12 gargantuan. It's like a barge. Almost
2:14 the size of the girth and width of
2:17 Florida. That's a massive barge right
2:19 there. You want to fight with me,
2:21 spider? You want to fight with
2:24 me? Oh, man. How you doing? If you look
2:29 towards the sky and you come straight
2:31 down, you'll see some sort of writing
2:32 here on the side of this huge concrete
2:35 structure. I don't think it's graffiti.
2:37 I think it's actually put on there from
2:39 when they were building it. Any idea
2:41 what that might mean? Any idea what the
2:43 A, the upside down L, and the P stand
2:52 for? Out here in these woods, there's
2:52 lots of thorns. Check out this
2:53 thistlelike
2:56 stick. You could use this as a
2:59 weapon of some sort. Imagine just
3:01 jabbing. Oh man. Don't want to hit that
3:04 in the old face. Imagine jabbing that
3:07 upside the cranium.
3:10 I got to use my tripod to ward off the
3:12 spiderw webs. A lot of spiders out here.
3:14 Spiderw webs. A lot of other remnants of
3:16 this proposed Florida canal plan. They
3:20 must have had some sort of building
3:22 here. Cinder blocks and whatnot. Here's
3:26 some sort of aluminum can. Probably a
3:29 can of beans. What the I don't know what
3:31 this is, but that's interesting. It
3:34 looks like a mop. Ooh, it almost looks
3:36 like spaghetti.
3:38 It looks like a weird spaghetti or a mop
3:42 head that's combusted. Weird. More cans
3:47 of food here. Who knows what those were?
3:50 What they were eating. Get back, spiderw
3:53 webs. Get back, spiderw webs. Look at
3:56 this rusted old can here. Definitely uh
3:59 definitely old. I think I've actually
4:02 lost my
4:03 sunglasses. They were dangling from my
4:05 pocket and they're somewhere around
4:07 here. I think I've actually lost my
4:09 sunglasses,
4:10 everyone. Wonder if that guy's seen my
4:12 sunglasses. Oh, wait a second. Oh, I
4:14 found them. They're over here next to
4:16 the spaghetti pile. There they are. I
4:19 need to go through there. And I have
4:21 shorts on. Not the smartest. Not the
4:24 smartest choice today, but here we go.
4:27 Oh
4:29 man. Should just drove my van up in
4:31 here. Bulldoz this down a team
4:34 style. What the heck is on my leg? I've
4:36 been attacked by
4:38 foliage. It's a half stick right
4:41 there. That's some sort of weird symbol
4:44 or something. Very bizarre. It's like a
4:47 wishing
4:48 stick jabbed in the ground. Very
4:51 strange. Oh, we got some ants. Woo! Ant
4:55 bed. Oh
4:57 man. Nature at its finest,
5:00 everyone. A This one's pretty
5:03 cool. I love it. No graffiti, no
5:07 nothing. It's a big slab of concrete
5:09 history right here in the middle of
5:11 Florida. Look at that thing. Oh, there's
5:13 a spider on my hand. What's another
5:16 spider there? Look at this. Holy cow.
5:19 These things are everywhere out here. It
5:22 seems like every one of these concrete
5:23 structures is guarded by one of these
5:27 guys. One of those
5:30 guys. Oh man, I'm dangling some spiderw
5:33 webs. Spiderw webs right here. That's
5:34 pretty cool. Look how the trees have
5:36 winded up the side of that concrete
5:38 structure. It's pretty awesome there.
5:40 Cars over there. That guy in that truck.
5:43 They don't even know I'm here. Hey, I'm
5:44 over here. Everyone, I'm over here. Hey,
5:48 I'm in the
5:49 woods. They don't even know I'm here.
5:51 They don't even know I'm here. They have
5:53 no clue I'm even out here. They probably
5:55 have no clue this is here. This thing
5:58 could be given the middle finger and
5:59 they wouldn't even know. Check out all
6:00 that fantastic moss growing up the side
6:03 of this thing.
6:05 Awesome. Some sort of a motor of some
6:08 sort. Either somebody had a car that
6:09 broke down out here or this is a
6:12 lawnmower motor. What kind of engine is
6:14 that? Anybody know what kind of engine
6:15 that might be? Leave a comment below.
6:18 Let me
6:24 know. This ground is so mushy right
6:24 here. I just tried to walk through. It's
6:25 like quicksand. Look at my foot just
6:27 sinking
6:28 in. Crazy. Looks like someone got lost
6:31 out here. Here's the bottom of their
6:32 shoe.
6:33 They've lost their
6:35 soul. They've lost their
6:46 soul. Check out this cool branch that's
6:46 forked its way up all the way to the
6:48 top. It's pretty awesome. That's forking
6:52 awesome.
7:07 Why do I all of a sudden feel like
7:07 Indiana Jones right
7:19 now? Oh, yep. There's another
7:19 one. And another
7:21 one. They're everywhere out here.
7:23 Luckily, I got my tripod. I just keep
7:26 flailing it around like a lunatic. Check
7:28 out all this
7:31 moss. Just sitting here corroding in
7:33 moss. Look at this. You can almost climb
7:36 this. If I wasn't obese, I would give it
7:39 a
7:40 try. Something just hit my
7:42 hand. Flaking bark or bugs. I'm going to
7:46 hope it was flaking bark. Something just
7:48 hit my arm right there.
7:55 I hope you've enjoyed this walk through
7:55 the Florida woods right here off US27
7:58 next to Santos, Florida. You can Google
8:01 it and if you're ever cruising by, pull
8:03 over the side of the road and walk
8:05 through the wilderness and see these
8:07 cool moss ridden
8:09 structures. Oh yeah, one more thing. If
8:12 you get a chance, go over to my second
8:14 channel, channel number two, the Daily
8:16 Woo channel. It's a channel I started a
8:18 couple months ago and I put up daily
8:20 videos on there of my travels. And as
8:23 you should know, as of right now, I've
8:26 just left on the road again. I'll be on
8:27 the road a couple months filming crazy
8:29 stuff like this, abandoned places,
8:30 roadside attractions, and whatnot for
8:32 this channel, my main channel, the Adam
8:34 the Woo channel, which you're watching
8:36 right now. But check out my other
8:37 channel, The Daily Woo. Look it up.
8:39 Subscribe to that one, too. Thanks,
8:41 everyone. Till next time. What is on my
8:44 feet and socks and shoes?
8:52 Thanks for subscribing and checking out
8:52 the
8:53 website. Get out of here with
8:56 the Oh my almost got that guy in my
9:01 mouth. Oh man, too many spiderw
9:04 webs. If you guys ever come out here,
9:07 bring some spider repellent.
