0:09 establishments heading up to Glendora to
0:12 a little spot that just so happens to be
0:14 on route 66 I'm inviting you to join me

0:21 together packed up in the bag and ready

0:24 I agree big the foot there are a lot of
0:27 hills in this neck of the woods that you
0:29 could hide it don't be getting any ideas
0:31 though admission closest cross streets
0:36 would be lone Hill Ave and the historic
0:41 route 66
0:53 backdrop of the mountains is very
0:53 beautiful a little gas station located
0:56 right here in the promenade Plaza this
0:59 establishment has not been here too long
1:02 normally cheesesteaks are known on the
1:05 East Coast but say hello to West Coast
1:09 cheesesteaks now open with classic car
1:14 alert 30-minute Park 30-minute parking
1:18 only
1:18 however even have some umbrellas here to
1:22 shade to shade the vehicles
1:51 all right place my order got my meal and
1:51 moving on to a park or at least
1:54 somewhere close by where I can sit and
1:55 consume this couple miles up all the
1:58 blossoms on that tree
1:59 beautiful arrived at Finkbeiner Park
2:03 here in the city of Glendora pride of
2:07 the foothills
2:16 this is a very impressive destruction
2:16 that has been placed here this eagle
2:20 under the tree
2:32 oh yeah this should work out pretty well
2:32 got quite a few to choose from and this
2:37 is what we're dealing with I picked up a
2:42 takeaway
2:43 menu as well that has all the the items
2:46 on it and the information on the
2:48 opposite side it's a little breezy out
2:51 here look went ahead and place one of
2:53 the two water bottles inside the cup I
2:56 asked for the cup because it has their
2:58 logo display there on the front as well
3:02 as a little sticker there on top that is
3:05 that is a good sized cheesesteak let me
3:10 reiterate the directions which are shown
3:13 here you can see where they have their
3:15 marking but then on those cross streets
3:18 over there on historic route 66 and
3:21 south lone Hill Avenue closest cross
3:27 street I know when it comes to these
3:28 items there is a lot of discrepancy all
3:31 what people prefer and what they think
3:33 what they say is the best I am NOT an
3:36 expert so I just asked for you know the
3:38 standard so I don't really know what I
3:41 don't really remember what they put on
3:42 it but these are the assortment of
3:44 sauces yes I should probably just open
3:48 it up and see let's see what I got

4:43 I'll just unwrap the whole the whole

4:55 my it'll go on my wallet
4:57 well maybe not cuz the backs is all out
4:59 of stickiness so that will not go on my
5:01 wallet
5:12 okay we're getting close this is like
5:12 unwrapping a treasure right here and
5:17 we're going into the second layer oh
5:24 it's seeping through just like it should
5:24 be oh my goodness look at this the smell
5:31 has just permeated and wafted into my
5:40 general area look at that thing
5:43 yeah yeah look at that that's awesome I
5:49 am NOT an expert nor a connoisseur on
5:53 this particular food item in fact less
5:57 than a dozen times in my lifetime I have
6:00 had a cheese and cheese steak and all of
6:03 them at least the heavy majority of
6:06 those times no I'm just gonna say all of
6:08 them have been on the East Coast and a
6:12 good chunk of that percentage we're in
6:15 the Philadelphia area this oh whoa I
6:22 wish you could smell this because this
6:24 thing there's just oozing goodness mmm
6:29 I'm just I'm doing it
6:57 oh my lord well that's good it's about
6:57 thirty miles from where I reside and I'm
7:02 kind of thankful for that because if it
7:03 was closer this would be a semi-regular
7:07 regiment oh just one bite and I am
7:11 brought back to the memories when I love
7:13 about cheesesteaks
7:15 gotcha peppers and onions
7:45 when it comes to these things very
7:45 limited they don't hold any of this take
7:50 everything with a grain of salt but dang
7:54 that's how it's done right there
8:16 last time I was in Philly ate it the two
8:16 most popular spots there at those cross
8:19 streets they face each other to kind of
8:22 go head to head and I did a review on
8:24 those years ago it's called a review I
8:27 just visited them in a - cheesesteaks
8:29 and I can't recall off the top of my
8:34 head if those were better but my first
8:37 mo my impression right now is that this
8:40 is superior to those
9:02 sidenote I learned from that past video
9:02 in Philly that people are very vocal
9:07 about their love for cheesesteaks it is
9:12 a hot topic and the reason I did the the
9:16 two most popular kind of trendy spots
9:19 that the ones that are facing each other
9:21 because I wanted to get those out of the
9:22 way so next time I returned I could try
9:24 some of the local lore the kind of
9:27 floats around some of the opinions of
9:29 thoughts and and suggestions that people
9:32 have loved
9:47 I'm not talking about the East I stop
9:47 talking about the West Coast right now
10:00 if I ever well I will be back through
10:00 this area custody know I travel a lot
10:02 around the Greater Los Angeles area
10:04 doing different types of adventures and
10:08 one not even when this series ends which
10:10 it will series is not gonna run forever
10:14 I've ever heard I remember in this
10:17 neighborhood I will be making a pit stop
10:20 when I approach the counter and I asked
10:23 I said give me what is the the go to
10:28 what would be known for what someone
10:31 would say give me a cheesesteak and you
10:34 would hand someone a cheesesteak just
10:37 give me that so she gave me this and she
10:39 said that there was they use a cheese
10:41 whiz and set up like a hard cheese does
10:45 that make sense
10:46 cheese whiz whatever it is it it is a
10:51 nice package full of items and there
11:19 I didn't know how much this was
11:19 necessary for my stomach happiness until
11:41 not disappointed at one bit I am far
11:41 beyond not disappointed right now
11:44 halfway done I would like to I would
11:46 like to take the other section of this
11:49 home but I don't think it's gonna happen
11:50 this is just this needs to be completed
11:53 yeah is this is happening I have a
11:56 little bit of a regiment over the last
12:00 over three weeks of this where I try to
12:03 eat in the late morning not even into
12:06 the afternoon I try that by noon I try
12:08 to have already eaten my main meal of
12:10 the day and then once I get home I drink
12:13 a lot of water just to kind of flush
12:16 flush everything and then yes a small
12:19 sometimes not even a meal at night and
12:22 if it is very very small just maybe like
12:24 a little snack or something and
12:27 sometimes they even skip that still not
12:30 it's not it's not really justifying
12:31 eating just I don't know if it's a
12:34 footlong but a lengthy chunk of bread
12:38 with this delicious goodness but it
12:42 helps all bets are off

13:07 heavens three ticks for see what time it
13:18 is 5 6 8 9 10 11
13:46 should be one more 12 noon just about
13:46 ate my meal of the day before dude seems
13:50 trying to trying to make it work from in
13:54 pencil middle status in anyway
14:31 I'm actually not from here I just pulled
14:31 over to eat I don't know I don't even
14:35 know what so in the other area I'm gonna
14:39 go on record this is the best cheese
14:42 steak I've ever had in my life now I
14:44 have not had a lot less than a dozen
14:46 maybe even less than 10 but out of all
14:49 of them this is the best one I've ever
14:51 had now that will probably be bested
14:54 throughout the course of my life
14:55 especially now that I will say I'm
14:59 becoming a foodie by any stretch of the
15:03 imagination but I'm becoming a little
15:05 more open to going to different places
15:07 and trying other spots so that might but
15:11 as of right now this is this is the best
15:15 cheese steak I've ever had
15:16 take it from me just just my opinion
15:27 might even become a mission from how
15:27 long you might even become a mission
15:32 just that now I know there are plenty of
15:36 people out there who have a little bit
15:40 more knowledge and a little bit more
15:42 experience and when it comes to to
15:44 downing those items I got it now a black
15:55 I'm on it
15:56 maybe I don't eat enough of them maybe I
15:59 don't eat enough of them and it's been a
16:01 couple of years since I had one so maybe
16:06 I just forgot how how tasty
