0:44 little confusing and hard to tell that

0:46 the original opening scene was right

0:49 here, directly across this road. This is

0:52 original. Of course, it's been those and

0:55 redone. Looks nothing like it did.

1:20 Hey bud, let's party.

1:20 Over to my left, we have the former home

1:23 of All American Burger where Bradley

1:25 worked. is now a coffee

1:29 shop, but a lot of the vicinity still

1:31 looks the same, including this

1:38 cleaners. And across the street is a gas

1:38 station. Of course, the gas station and

1:40 the cleaners are also new businesses

1:43 that have been changed. You can see a

1:45 lot of those buildings outside of the

1:46 windows, but all the shots inside the

1:49 All-American Burger are happening. The

1:51 bathrooms have actually been moved from

1:53 the left side to the right side. The

1:55 whole floor has been redone. The whole

1:56 inside has been redone. But it's still

1:59 pretty cool to check out all American

2:02 Burger.

2:28 No shirt, no shoes, no dice. You know

2:28 what the meaning of guarantee is? Did

2:32 Did you know this was Nick Cage's first

2:57 students parked in. In fact, this

2:58 building here was actually later added.

3:24 So in the movie, this parking lot was a

3:26 lot bigger. In fact, the scene where

3:28 Bradley does the reverse high five,

3:31 gentlemen. And this beautiful blue

3:33 four-door luxury sedan is all mine. Was

3:53 We are actually inside Ridgemont High

3:53 School. Awesome.

6:40 at this Italian restaurant is where Mark

6:43 Ratner and Stacy had their first big

6:45 date with the massively large chairs. In

6:48 fact, you can see the other side of

6:50 these stained glass windows as they're

6:52 eating their meal.

7:03 Um, yeah. I'll have the uh knock worst.

7:15 I'm really kind of busy, rat. Of course,

7:18 this is the Hamilton residence. Stacy

7:21 was standing right there waiting on De

7:24 towards her to pick her up to go to

7:26 their appointment, but of course, he

7:29 stood her up. So, she was

7:32 waiting. Where is he? Ended up going

7:35 back inside. And on the back side of

7:37 this house is the famous pool from the

7:40 famous scene. You know what I'm talking

7:41 about.

7:47 And you can actually see it from

7:48 satellite view. People do live here and

7:50 they don't want to be disturbed. So,

7:52 we're not going to go jump the fence.

7:54 But here is a satellite image of that

7:56 famous pool which is still in the

7:59 backyard. Not a young man alive that

8:01 hasn't seen that scene. Or an old man.

8:03 Or an old man.

8:22 Hi. How you doing? Good. How are you?

8:25 And this is where Stacy would have told

8:26 Mike Deone that he liked her.

8:32 The thing that's cool is the camera pans

8:34 this way and those murals right over

8:36 there. Decades later, still here. The

8:40 same murals on that wall. Very cool.

9:01 This was the spot from the scene where

9:03 Demone was approached by Stacy giving

9:06 him some bad news right in here. Of

9:08 course, he was trying to sell some

9:10 tickets, scalp some tickets to the young

9:12 lady sitting in the once bleachers that

9:15 used to come to here. Looks a lot

9:16 different now. What's Dean doing right

9:19 now? I want you to want me the dream

9:29 They just seem a little bit weird.

10:33 right, we're going to check out Mike

10:34 Deone's apartment. You see it in a

10:36 couple scenes in the movie. What's

10:38 interesting though is uh he lives in an

10:40 apartment, but at some point you hear

10:41 that he's helping his father in the

10:43 garage. Where's the garage? There is no

10:45 garage. But right up there, right up

10:47 there was his

11:03 apartment. Right where this white van is

11:03 is where Mike Deon's car would have

11:05 been. In fact, that tree can be seen in

11:07 the shot. Of course, the tree was very

11:09 tiny then.

11:21 It's time for a field trip. Time to go

11:21 to the hospital. Science.

11:38 up. All right. Now, today we're going to

11:38 explore how this hospital preserves

11:40 human life.

12:32 outside of the side of the hospital and

12:35 now we're just taking off. I'm from

12:36 Florida and just a fan of the movie. uh

12:39 wanted the Shawn Penn movie from 1982

12:42 and Judge Reinhold and the whole deal.

12:45 So, yeah, we just been traveling around

12:47 LA all day filming the spot. So, just

12:49 trying

12:55 to fine.

13:15 The very last scene of the movie where

13:15 the convenience store gets robbed was

13:16 filmed right behind us. All of these

13:19 buildings can be seen in the shot. The

13:21 wouldbe robbers pulled right up that

13:23 little area straight towards the mighty

13:25 mart which is now completely abandoned

13:28 and there's some new cars which are in

13:29 the parking lot which is a little bit

13:31 weird.

13:44 Well, as you can see, we can't go inside

13:44 anymore. This isn't actually a Mighty

13:46 Mart now. Used to be. But here's a cool

13:48 fun rock journalism fact for you.

13:51 Anyway, in the scene, you can see Brad

13:53 Hamilton wearing a Bruce Springsteen

13:55 t-shirt. The cool thing about that is

13:56 Bruce Springsteen's little sister,

13:58 Pamela Springsteen, played Dena, one of

14:00 the two former spirit bunnies that you

14:03 can see during the pep rally. It's just

14:04 such a put down. Really,

14:15 it's like the whole inside has been

14:15 gutted. The convenience store aspect of

14:18 it is now removed. But basically right

14:20 where my finger is through that window

14:22 was the front counter where Spici came

14:24 in asked to use the

14:26 bathroom. Right in

14:29 there all I hear some tasty waves cool

14:32 buzz and I'm fine.
