0:31 Kokomo Indiana this guy's kind of sort

0:35 of stomping grounds a little bit a

0:39 daily Vlog channel it's the daily movie

0:44 longest car chase scenes of all time and

0:48 what I mean by worst I mean you know

1:23 where he was the police chief of Kokomo

1:26 they actually used the City of Kokomo

1:29 and the extras were actually locals the

1:31 actors were legitimate paid actors

1:33 everyone else were just locals who lived

1:36 here and breathed and survived in the

1:39 town

1:40 and a lot of the action actually

1:41 happened right in here in fact one fact

1:44 fantastic scene happened right up here

1:46 on the corner of Union and Sycamore

1:50 Street

1:51 so if you see the sign here Union and

1:53 Sycamore Street so right over here Chuck

1:55 Connors would have been driving his

1:58 police car chasing some Libyan

2:00 terrorists who took over a nuclear power

2:03 plant the very end of the movie is

2:05 called Terror Squad you can look it up

2:09 up Terror Squad car scene it's about 22

2:12 minutes long it's the very tail end of

2:14 the movie and it's one of the most

2:16 exhilaratingly awesomely bad car chases

2:19 death sequences of all time the scene

2:22 I'm talking about happened right in here

2:24 when an elderly gentleman you will play

2:26 the elderly gentleman

2:27 fell down in the road right here he was

2:29 crossing the road from this way the

2:32 terrorists came along and mowed him down

2:34 right in there so basically where this

2:36 car is going that way there was a car

2:38 coming this way who was one of the

2:40 Libyan terrorists mowed the guy down he

2:43 had a bag full of groceries

2:45 destroyed the guy's body right here in

2:47 the middle smack dab in the middle of

2:50 the street

2:51 and this is exactly where it was right

2:53 here is where the old man was laying

2:56 there he was definitely not in the best

2:58 of health after being run down by Libyan

3:00 terrorists

3:02 and reason that you know this is the

3:04 exact spot is when they run him down

3:06 there's actually an angle from right

3:09 here and you can actually see these

3:11 buildings right here the camera angles

3:13 down here he's laying in the road

3:16 the terrorists not only run him down but

3:19 the local Town folk run up and they're

3:21 like oh my goodness are you all right

3:23 are you all right they gather all around

3:25 him and then Chuck Connors what does he

3:27 do the guy is supposed to be saving the

3:30 town folk he turns the corner and what

3:32 does he do blast the guy yeah he runs

3:35 the guy down right here his police car

3:38 turns the corner just like this guy's

3:39 coming towards us now runs the guy over

3:42 a helpless defensive citizen Chuck

3:46 Connors no longer The Rifleman has

3:49 gotten old and aged evidently he should

3:51 not be driving a police car and in the

3:53 movie what was he always doing

4:00 that's basically his move over and over

4:00 and over in the movie was awesome he

4:03 would see some kind of Carnage that the

4:05 Libyan terrorists would do they were

4:07 killing people they were shooting people

4:08 all through these streets he would pull

4:10 up in his cop car and he and he would

4:12 just do this let's do it together

4:17 man that sun's really bright but that's

4:17 what he would do he would keep doing

4:18 this and the way you know this is the

4:20 exact spot is you can actually see this

4:22 stairwell right here in one of the shots

4:26 the angle was back over there you can

4:29 actually see the stairwell you can see

4:31 this building

4:39 right there downtown Kokomo Indiana so

4:39 there's a couple more spots right up

4:40 here we're going to show you we got

4:42 quite of a good ways to walk he's got

4:44 his walking shoes on I however have

4:47 my flip-flops on so he could probably

4:50 walk faster in regular shoes than I can

4:52 in flip-flops so basically the

4:54 terrorists go on YouTube look up the

4:57 clips you'll see what I mean it's a 22

4:59 minute clip hopefully you didn't get too

5:00 bored watching that YouTube clip for 22

5:03 minutes but the terrorist turn after

5:05 they run down the old man they drive

5:07 straight down this road

5:09 they drive straight down this way

5:12 in fact in a lot of the scenes you can

5:14 actually see the Kokomo Water Tower

5:16 off in the distance

5:23 you can actually see the Kokomo water

5:23 tower way off there look at that

5:27 the world famous Kokomo water tower from

5:30 the movie is still here off in the

5:33 distance but I want to show you one

5:34 other area when the terrorists come

5:36 around here they have their guns their

5:38 oozies their shotguns all the different

5:40 Arsenal they have and they're over here

5:42 shooting random people just random

5:44 people they're trying to live and Shop

5:47 in the downtown area and there's a

5:50 fantastic scene here where people are

5:52 just scurrying they're scurrying that

5:54 way what do they do

6:01 one of the guys jumps off just like that

6:01 he did Adam did an excellent Recreation

6:04 of the guy leaping a guy leaped right

6:07 there against this wall the way you can

6:09 tell is look at that white building over

6:11 there the guys would have ran from the

6:13 bullets they're running they're running

6:15 and they would have jumped right here

6:17 where this flower patch is pretty crazy

6:21 pretty crazy to think a movie was filmed

6:24 right here in Kokomo Indiana

6:27 you ever seen that movie before

6:29 only the chase scene only the chase

6:31 scene is all that matters the rest of it

6:33 was actually filmed at an abandoned

6:35 warehouse That was supposed to be a

6:37 nuclear power plant they actually

6:39 destroyed it for the movie that doesn't

6:40 exist anymore but the downtown area

6:43 still exists which is awesome and one of

6:46 the last final scenes I want to show you

6:47 is where the motorcycle would have drove

6:50 right down this road right here

6:53 motorcycle was being chased by the

6:55 Libyan terrorists

6:57 and he actually was blown up and shot

6:59 right there right where that guy

7:02 standing opening his truck hopefully

7:03 that's not a Libyan terrorist but right

7:05 there is where the motorcycle would have

7:08 been carnaged fire would have exploded

7:10 you can see all of these buildings in

7:12 the background a bunch of locals came up

7:14 gawking in awe of the guy he took his

7:17 mask off and his face was completely

7:19 charged give me a charred face
