4:28 good kind of Hawaiian style shirts like

4:31 Aloha type of shirts. You got the Doc

4:34 Brown Enterprises right there. Little uh

4:36 little booklet. Here's another one.

5:15 exclusively here Hollywood. I think it

5:19 it's specifically you could really you

5:21 could really go there and check it out.

5:24 They even have the part two Marty cap,

5:26 right? Well, the a variation of the part

5:27 two Marty cap and a little little uh

5:30 little coffee mug right here. Franchises

5:32 as well have new merchandise. Dungeons

5:33 and Dragons, Nintendo. You got the

5:36 FanFest lanyards and things like that.

6:23 gone. Since I was here last time in

6:25 December till now, they closed it. Drive

6:28 a move that attraction because it is now

6:32 gone. But this is like a this would be

6:34 like a a kind of a collector's item

6:36 shirt right there. I never I never like

6:39 that. I never never ever liked it in any

6:41 way, shape, or form. I hated it. One of

6:42 those things you had to stick with and

6:44 deal with on the studio tour. I am kind

6:47 of looking forward to the Fast and the

6:48 Furious coaster though. I think that's

6:49 going to be five times better. I don't

6:52 know why I gave that number, but it's

6:54 going to be better. It's going to be

6:55 better than the than the weird screen

6:57 screen portion in my opinion.

7:00 Interesting. There's a lot of new

7:01 Dungeons and Dragons merchandise, which

7:03 I never thought there'd be a whole

7:05 cavalcade of D&D merchandise. You got to

7:09 wonder if Stranger Things brought

7:10 Dungeons and Dragons back into the

7:12 forefront of modern-day pop culture and

7:15 if that helped at all with the the you

7:17 know the gameplay side of nerd things. I

7:21 played D and D, but I don't know a whole

7:22 heck of a lot about it. I would imagine

7:24 Dungeons and Dragons probably the most

7:26 popular roleplay game, but then again, I

7:29 don't know what I'm talking about, so

7:30 don't don't don't hold me to that.

7:32 There's always a a big risk guy and

7:34 chess guy. Check out the Battlestar

7:36 Galactica swag over here as well. Nice

8:07 the East Coast, but if they don't, I'm

8:08 going to get that for him. But I got to

8:09 check with him first. Oh, I know. I know

8:11 Greg's Game Room, the biggest Star Trek

8:14 fan that I know is probably going to

8:16 chime in and go, "Oh, Back to Future is

8:17 great and all, but if I was there, I'd

8:19 want to see all the Star Trek stuff."

8:21 So, I was showing this showing this for

8:23 him as well. This is all, I think, kind

8:24 of next generation type. Wait, is this

8:35 $18, but you can use a newly purchased

9:20 And look at this. You can suck on what

9:23 the thing that went in Czechov's ear.

9:26 What the heck? That is horrible. I mean,

9:29 I guess that would be like maybe that

9:31 could make you rest easier knowing that

9:34 you're the one taking care taking care

9:36 of this horrific insect alien creature

9:40 that's going down into Czechov's ear.

9:42 Looks like during FanFest. This is where

9:47 the Red Alert, Star Trek Red Alert's

9:49 going to be. This is where they have the

9:51 HHN mazes. That's kind of interesting to

9:54 see the lay. I haven't really kept up to

9:55 date with where the the layouts of

9:57 everything are going to be. I'm just

9:59 strolling around. It's a nice morning so

10:00 far.

10:08 I love seeing what's up. I've been on

10:08 the dark ride a bunch of times before.

10:12 Before I'd ever seen the movie and then

10:13 I watched the movie, I was like, "Oh my

10:14 gosh, this makes the ride so much

10:16 better."

10:32 I don't know how many people will be

10:32 using the splash pad today. Probably

10:33 not. It's a little bit cooler than

10:36 normal. It's not really hot out, so I

10:38 don't know if anyone's going to be

10:39 utilizing the splash pad. But I am

10:43 noticing, look over here. This minion is

10:45 the only one in there enjoying it. In

10:47 fact, he's laying on his back and he's

10:50 spitting water up into the air. He's

10:51 just really having a good time in the

10:53 empty splash pad. And I'm going to walk

10:55 from here and walk over to the overlook

10:57 just over by here and check out the Fast

10:59 and the Furious construction on the new

11:01 coaster. Take a look at that. They have

11:03 laid so much more track down than last

11:05 time I was here. The tram's going by the

11:07 fire station down there. Track goes all

11:09 the way down that way up the side of the

11:11 hill. Looks like all the track might be

11:14 completely laid out. Obviously, it's not

11:17 nowhere near being completely finished,

11:19 but the track appears to be completely

11:22 done. And since the last time I was

11:24 here, they've they've covered the

11:25 building. It was going vertical, but now

11:27 is turning into the actual building

11:29 right there. The you see the brick and

11:31 mortar and everything around it. You

11:34 know what? I honestly don't even know

11:35 what mortar means. People say brick and

11:36 mortar. I always I always say it, too,

11:38 cuz everybody else says it's a brick and

11:39 mortar place. I kind of know what mortar

11:42 is, but I know more about bricks than I

11:44 do than I do mortar. But either way, the

11:46 track has been completely completely

11:48 laid out. And it uh it's interesting how

11:50 the the the track goes completely around

11:52 the the first section of the escalator

11:54 when you're going down to three or four

11:56 sections down to the lower lot. The

11:57 track goes completely o up and over the

12:00 escalator. So, it's going to be make for

12:02 a very thrilling make for a very

12:04 thrilling moment when you're going not

12:06 only on the ride itself, but also when

12:08 you're on the escalator and you're you

12:10 have guests going over the top of you.

12:12 And I'm also very curious if they're

12:14 going to put scream tubes around it.

12:15 Like when you go to DCA, Disney

12:17 California Adventure, there are scream

12:19 tubes around former California Scream

12:21 and now in credit coaster cuz there are

12:23 people who live in the neighborhoods and

12:25 evidently they want to block some of the

12:26 screaming from leaving the park. Not all

12:28 of it, not all of it is stifled, but

12:30 some of it is because of the scream

12:31 tubes. But I don't know if they're going

12:33 to be able to put scream tubes on on

12:36 this particular coaster. And you, you

12:37 know, into the into the valley and into

12:39 the the area near the golf course and

12:41 into Burbank. I think a lot of people

12:43 that live down there are probably going

12:44 to hear constant screaming all day every

12:46 day. So, it's going to be going to be

12:48 interesting to see how the development

12:50 of the construction goes on the Fast and

12:52 the Furious

12:54 coaster. Rolling around Springfield. I

12:57 think I'm going to head down and see

12:59 what the line for the studio tour looks

13:01 like. And if it's not too bad, might

13:03 head down and do the studio tour. See

13:05 what I can see what I can see. You look

13:08 closely down there. There is Hill

13:10 Valley, Clock Tower Square, Courthouse

13:12 Square, whichever you refer to it as.

13:15 Highly doubtful because there is an

13:16 event coming up this weekend that I they

13:20 probably are not going to have the tram

13:21 go down there. But either way, I'll I'll

13:24 I'll see where the tram leads and see

13:26 what I can see. And are those patunias?

13:29 Opening next year. Now, on your right

13:31 hand side, you guys are seeing our

13:32 timeline. These movie posters, they

13:34 represent just a few of the more than

13:37 8,000 films that Universal Studios has

13:40 produced throughout the years. Now, our

13:42 story starts over 110 years ago. We are

13:44 the oldest studio in Hollywood. March

13:47 15th, 1915. That's when our founder Carl

13:50 Lemley opened the gates to Universal.

13:53 And on that day, he proclaimed,

13:54 "Universal is the strangest city in the

13:57 world." And he is right. It is strange.

14:00 So, movie studio, but it's also an

14:03 actual city. We have our own fire

14:04 station, sheriff station, gas station,

14:06 post office. We even have our own zip

14:08 code.

14:09 Now, one one thing that all of these

14:12 movies have in common is that a lot of

14:14 the things you see in these films are

14:16 things that are based around illusion.

14:18 Right now on the lock inside stages 16

14:20 and 17 on your right getting a little

14:23 and we're actually about to see now is a

14:28 uh the area where the cast and crew

14:30 convene when they're not filming.

14:32 Consists of

14:34 trailers, production vehicles, golf

14:36 carts. You can see some of the hair.
