A Very EMPTY Sea World Orlando - Looking For Shamu / Buying An Annual Pass & Construction Walls

0:14 back in town I went to Denver for a

0:16 series of days back in Central Florida

0:19 for a few days and then I will be

0:21 departing again to another state leaving

0:23 again lot of travels the rest of this

0:26 year hyot caffeinated beverage I have

0:28 purchased online

0:30 for the first time in many years a

0:33 SeaWorld Orlando annual pass they have a

0:37 seasonal pass that goes till New Year's

0:40 but they also have a yearly pass similar

0:42 to Disney and Universal Etc so I went

0:46 ahead and grabbed that it also includes

0:48 Bush Gardens because now this is not

0:51 going to happen today it's about 4:30

0:52 right now the park closes at 7:00 so

0:55 today is just going to be a

0:57 walk-in and just wing it around the park

1:01 see some animals maybe pop in check out

1:04 the layout of the the place the last

1:06 time I have been in now I've been to

1:08 SeaWorld Orlando a couple times in the

1:11 last few years for their Halloween event

1:13 but I have not been on a normal day I

1:15 think since

1:16 20120 and I haven't had an annual pass

1:19 in around that time if not before

1:22 nonetheless I'm inviting you to join me

1:25 oh yeah they also allow GoPros on all

1:27 the coasters there so expect in the

1:29 future not right now but in the future

1:31 in the next 12 months or before some

1:34 coaster footage some show

1:37 footage just footage shall

1:41 you that's warm oh yeah I forgot to

1:44 mention I was around the backside of the

1:45 art deco celebration 7-Eleven this is

1:49 the side but I was over around the back

1:52 all right hitting I4 hopefully it's kind

1:54 I for eastbound tonight yep either going

1:57 eastbound or westbound usually I go west

1:59 westbound well I go eastbound too but

2:02 eastbound backed up just as bad as

2:04 westbound but it it un bottles neck past

2:07 535 and then it should be smooth sailing

2:09 after that but right through here this

2:11 little Corridor gets a little backed up

2:14 there is certainly not a backup or a mad

2:16 rush to get in here at 4:40 p.m. the

2:18 Park closed I look up the hours and

2:20 downloaded the app Clos at 700 p.m.

2:24 tonight just pulling right in for a

2:27 little late afternoon early Eve aquatic

2:30 SeaWorld action now when I've been here

2:32 for H of scream I think I've gone the

2:35 last two or three years they have the

2:36 entrance to the Haun event over

2:39 there again that's the last time I've

2:41 been in the Parks I think since 2020

2:44 when I did have my seasonal pass I've

2:46 never had an annual pass here they

2:47 always just had the whatever time you

2:49 purchased it till December until New

2:52 Year's but the one I got online is

2:55 they're now doing a full 12 monther

2:58 except I ended up getting the one that

3:01 had some blackout days and did not

3:03 include the parking so the gentleman at

3:06 the front gate said it was $34 even

3:08 though the park closes in 2 hours and 20

3:10 minutes 34 bucks to park I explained

3:12 myself he said oh you can just go to the

3:14 front and upgrade so I'm going to

3:15 upgrade to the free parking or

3:17 complimented parking and no blackout got

3:19 a little mural over here greetings from

3:22 SeaWorld and there's plenty of Park

3:24 guess I could have parked right over

3:25 here I don't know why I parked so far

3:26 away guess maybe I wanted to have like a

3:28 clerk Griswald moment I could be R you

3:30 know running so like right up there

3:34 the whatever coaster that is I'm not

3:36 super familiar with these coasters but

3:38 it is about to launch again I'm going to

3:40 return at some point and this is not

3:42 going to be a place I'm out every day or

3:43 maybe even every week but every so often

3:46 I will pop in over the next 12 months

3:48 you know every couple weeks or so if I'm

3:49 in town I am doing a lot of traveling

3:51 this year but I want to bring my GoPro

3:53 and do some GoPro stuff also the pass I

3:56 ended up purchasing includes Bush

3:57 Gardens which also has coasters has the

4:00 same policy as far as gopress and you're

4:03 allowed to bring GoPro so should be fun

4:06 also from what I'm hearing I just put

4:08 this out there I have never seen the

4:10 film Blackfish which a lot of people

4:13 will mention and chime in about I've

4:15 never seen that I know

4:17 SeaWorld is changing a lot of their

4:19 policies and a lot of their ways in fact

4:21 I heard this rumor I have not confirmed

4:22 this but evidently the Shamu show the

4:26 Orca whale show once that is going to be

4:29 going away that is not going to be a

4:30 constant for the end of time so not

4:33 today but at some point I'm going to

4:34 come back and I'm going to document that

4:37 possibly even bring my GoPro sit in the

4:39 area where you get kind of splashed I

4:40 guess Shamu

4:42 Shamu is not the same whale so it's not

4:45 the same whale Shamu from when the Park

4:48 first opened way back in the day there

4:50 had been multiple

4:52 Shamu and to be honest I don't even know

4:54 if Shamu if they're still utilizing the

4:57 name Shamu I guess find all that over

5:01 time look at this thing oh oh that's the

5:04 new standup coaster I did not bring my

5:07 GoPro today but you're allowed to film

5:09 on that I wish Cedar Fair parks would

5:11 allow filming Cedar Fair Parks you know

5:13 like Six Flags of stuff don't allow

5:14 filming on r on coasters yet but maybe

5:16 one day that'd be kind of look at this

5:18 thing all right hold

5:38 now I'm a silver annual passholder to

5:40 both parks and they are celebrating

5:43 their 60th anniversary the pass I bought

5:46 includes Adventure Island Aquatica which

5:49 I think is the water park look at the

5:52 dolphins look at the Dolphins up

5:59 here now the dolphin underground View

5:59 viewing area is just now closing and the

6:03 team member said go in and look real

6:05 quick don't stay too long because they

6:07 closed this 2 hours

6:09 prior to the park closing the park

6:12 closes at 7:00 it's right at 5: now so

6:17 heading out before they lock the

6:29 Dolphins obviously Jaws 3 was to see

6:52 exactly sure what show this is but I got

6:54 to watch a little bit I caught the very

6:56 very tail end of the Dolphin Show where

6:58 they're kind of jump out of the water

7:00 and like swimming across and doing all

7:02 the tricks and everything very very

7:04 interesting now that I think about it I

7:05 don't even know if they're really if

7:06 they even refer to Shamu by name anymore

7:09 I got to like research that a little bit

7:11 more and see if Shamu is still still a

7:14 thing and see well that just be going

7:15 off of the the 80s that I'm thinking of

7:19 also so here is the here is like some of

7:21 the different areas around also journey

7:23 to Atlant I really like I won't be able

7:24 to film that until I come back out with

7:26 my GoPro got Antarctica over there you

7:28 got Kraken over

7:30 there also 60th anniversary is not of

7:33 seaw World Orlando that's for the whole

7:35 company I guess they said in the show

7:37 and San SeaWorld San Diego evidently was

7:40 the first one that's the one they're

7:41 celebrating 60 years of the SeaWorld you

7:45 know company little carnival games

7:46 through here winter every time the fish

7:49 there another one over there called

7:51 Manta matchup oh take a look

7:53 construction update penguin Trek a new

7:55 coaster coming spring 202 well it's

7:57 spring now evidently it's not open yet

7:59 oh I remember this facade here where

8:01 they could doing the construction for

8:03 the new penguin track evidently was used

8:05 as one of the haunted houses last year

8:08 the q line was over there from what I

8:10 recall this whole new this fence is up

8:11 where they're doing the construction

8:13 there's a Construction Wall here too

8:15 holy cow so this whole area over here

8:17 used to be that trackless penguin ride

8:20 which opened many years ago evidently

8:22 that's closed what the yeah look at this

8:25 this was that trackless peakin ride now

8:26 they're going to guess make like a

8:28 outdoor coaster

8:30 out of it at some point yeah right over

8:32 here look at this wow I remember when

8:35 that opened I think I was out here I was

8:41 was it was a while back and I remember

8:44 when I went in your camera it was so

8:46 cold in there your camera would like you

8:47 know fog up this really is quite the the

8:50 uh the Cavalcade of fences and scrim to

8:54 get back here to Pacific Point Preserve

8:57 the sea lion area right right over here

9:00 lots and lots of lots and lots of

9:02 construction happening out here man I'm

9:04 a member of the Education team here at

9:06 SeaWorld if you're wonder where that

9:08 voice is coming from I'm under here this

9:10 orange umbrella over by theer oh there

9:14 is those you are interested

9:17 in our Bo is open once you have your

9:21 tray of fish what you're going to want

9:22 to do is walk over to them have a top

9:24 with your hand cover your tray you can

9:26 see all these white birds hanging around

9:28 around here these are not World Birds

9:30 they are wild birds and they can be very

9:32 aggressive they are here to steal the

9:34 fish and we every single

9:36 time once you're done feeding your seals

9:39 and sea lions there are hand washing

9:40 stations on either side of that feeder

9:42 Booth as well as up on the building of

9:45 top of the top of the

9:47 bridge as you look into the habitat you

9:50 might be able to see that we have two

9:51 different species of P heads we have the

9:54 California sea lion and harbor

9:56 seal piped means feather or th and not

9:59 only includes different species of seals

10:02 and sea lies but also

10:05 walruses if you had to guess where

10:07 California sea lions live or just like

10:09 dogs come in a variety of sies so do PS

10:12 from the smallest female fur gapa seal

10:15 at only about 47 lb to the largest male

10:18 Southern elephant deal at over 11,000

10:21 luckily our dogs don't get that

10:23 big and just like we eat a variety of

10:25 things P eat a variety of fish Wes will

10:29 also eat

10:30 and that means it's been caught in such

10:31 a way that it doesn't harm the

10:33 environment and it also is enough F in

10:35 the ocean not only for us later but also

10:37 for the animals who still live there you

10:40 can do your part by choosing sustainable

10:42 Seafood when you're at home you can when

10:44 you're at the grocery store look at the

10:45 packaging see iFood says it's

10:46 sustainably Source if you're at a

10:49 restaurant ask your server to find out

10:50 if there Seafood is sustainably Source

10:52 if it's not maybe you can consider

10:54 ordering something else but you might be

10:56 thinking I don't buy groceries for my

10:58 family or maybe I don't even eat seafood

11:00 that's okay there's still things that we

11:01 can do too including I know you guys

11:04 have those phones out you have your

11:05 cameras out you're

11:14 taking these amazing animals can make a

11:14 big

11:15 difference for those of you just joining

11:17 us we've been talking about the pinets

11:19 we have here at Pacific Point Preserve

11:21 as well as the ones found throughout you

11:22 have any questions about our seals our

11:24 sea lions are any of the animals here at

11:26 SeaWorld either one of us would be happy

11:27 to answer any questions that you they

11:29 have pretty neat I always love I love

11:31 sea lions again there's like a place

11:33 that has a it's a sea lion pool it's

11:36 like kind of over near Carl's bad I

11:38 don't remember the exact area but it's

11:39 down near San Diego but I think of sea

11:41 lions I think of that area and I also

11:43 think of the pier in San Francisco which

11:47 has a ton of sea lions certain times the

11:51 year is more than others but when I

11:52 think of sea lions that's what I think

11:54 of and then obviously right here

11:55 SeaWorld Orlando yeah this is wild if

11:58 they're completely redoing retheming

12:01 reutilizing the building that's through

12:03 here this is also the way out you kind

12:04 of walk out this way where the sea lions

12:06 are and they're reutilizing this

12:08 building oh my goodness I got to go up

12:10 in that also there are people swimming

12:12 around down in here right now there

12:14 people swimming around down inside there

12:16 I think maybe they're like searching for

12:17 like a jewel or something Beautiful live

13:16 buy a day ticket or if you're a bronze

13:24 platinum it's included in so I'm kind of

13:29 Aid was almost $6 all right through the

13:32 passageway and basically they give you a

13:35 receipt so you show your pass they give

13:37 you a receipt if you haven't purchased

13:39 the $5 thing then they tear it and then

13:42 they say through the passageway and up

13:51 years and years ago but it's probably

13:52 been 10 years since I've been I don't

21:25 outside too that you can pay a couple

21:26 dollars for and dry off but they have a

21:29 pass member Lounge over here which right

21:31 now looks like it's closed it's probably

21:33 not open all day maybe it's open earlier

21:35 in the day but the pass member Lounge

21:38 which is over here you present it it's

21:39 closed so evidently it's not it doesn't

21:42 stay open till 700 p.m. or till park

21:44 closing it must be an earlier in the day

21:49 passholder I can watch my step and go in

23:29 like that a lot there's Shamu in the

23:30 middle but I'm not seeing anything any

23:33 merchandise that has Shamu's name on

23:42 it there Shamu his name is not on any

23:42 other I like this shirt a lot that's

23:47 not going too crazy but I do believe

23:49 this used to be the exit not the

23:51 entrance to this encounter so since the
