0:05 Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here
0:05 coming to you from a nice crisp morning
0:09 here in Gainesville, Florida. A college
0:11 town. The University of Florida is here
0:14 in Gainesville, Florida. You can see the
0:16 traffic behind me. It's early morning. I
0:18 just woke up, crawled out of my van, put
0:21 my hoodie on, put my sunglasses on, and
0:24 now I'm watching all the college
0:25 students, and they're really awesome old
0:28 school looking bugs, Volkswagen bugs,
0:31 going to class or going to work here in
0:34 Gainesville, Florida. It's my second
0:36 channel, Daily Blog channel. It's the
0:40 daily solar walk. It's a solar walk.
0:44 Have you ever been on a solar walk, sir?
0:47 Sir, have you or your wife or your child
0:51 ever been on a solar walk down a
0:55 sidewalk like this one? Well, you have
0:58 now son or daughter or pet or whoever's
1:04 watching this daily. Woo! In
1:08 2002, this was formulated as a plan and
1:11 brought to fruition right here on this
1:14 little thoroughare in Gainesville,
1:16 Florida. I'm kind of wondering if all
1:18 this traffic and onlookers and drivers
1:21 even care about or even have any
1:23 knowledge of the solar walk. It's the
1:27 solar walk. And what is the solar walk,
1:30 you might ask? Well, we have a little
1:32 remnant here letting us know a little
1:35 tidbit of info in the form of a placard.
1:38 Whoa, that guy's whistling. He's not
1:41 whistling at me, but he's whistling
1:42 because there is traffic coming across
1:44 in the form of pedestrians. It's very
1:46 early. It's about 7:30, 8:00 in the
1:49 morning here in Gainesville. There's
1:50 school traffic, not the college, but
1:53 regular elementary and high school
1:55 traffic going to class, going to school.
1:58 It's a plethora of knowledge here in
2:00 Gainesville, Florida. And I'm going to
2:01 give you some knowledge in the form of
2:04 the solar walk. Look at this. The
2:07 Gainesville Solar Walk right here. A
2:10 scale model of our solar system. Wow.
2:15 Starts off with the sun and of course
2:17 Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto
2:20 are way down that way. Starts off in
2:23 order. I'm believing it's in order. I'm
2:26 not super knowledgeable about the order
2:28 of the planets. Maybe you could give
2:30 some info by leaving some comments down
2:31 below about what you have factual in
2:35 your noggin about your brain knowledge
2:39 of the planets and the solar system and
2:41 the stars. Not the stars. Well, the sun
2:43 technically is a star, I believe, but
2:45 about the planets here on the solar
2:48 walk. Look at this. The sun to Pluto is
2:52 3.6 6 billion miles and they've scaled
2:56 it down to less than a
2:59 mile.9
3:01 miles installed in 2002. So it's been 11
3:06 years since they have installed these
3:08 little monolths of concrete right along
3:11 here. Planet
3:14 monuments. We get a closer look. We can
3:16 get up close and personal with some of
3:18 these really awesome structures that
3:21 have actually been dedicated to the
3:22 planets that other creatures, other
3:25 aliens might live on. And aliens known
3:28 as humans, you and I live on Earth. But
3:31 we're starting here with the sun. Look
3:32 at this. The
3:35 sun. They almost look kind of run down,
3:38 but I think that's actually how they
3:39 were made. I think they were made to
3:41 look like this. From a distance, they
3:43 look kind of like abandoned and a little
3:45 bit decayed, but really that's not the
3:47 case. They're actually in pretty good
3:49 shape. A lot of little info right here.
3:51 So, if you're in Gainesville, come out
3:53 here and take the solar walk. Also, it's
3:56 very, very, very lengthy. It starts off
3:58 with the first cluster of planets that
4:01 are all together closest to the sun, and
4:03 it goes way down that way. I'm not
4:05 really sure, maybe about a half a mile
4:06 or a mile. So, you got to put your
4:08 walking shoes on. If you're going to
4:10 walk through the solar system, make sure
4:12 you have some walking shoes on, unlike
4:14 my flip flops. See, I have flip flops
4:17 on. You don't want flip-flops when
4:19 you're walking through the solar system.
4:20 Well, really, you do. I wear flip-flops
4:21 pretty much anywhere. Unless you're on
4:23 the sun. If you're on the sun, your
4:25 toesies are going to get burned. My
4:27 toesies are getting
4:31 burned. I can't believe I just said
4:33 toesies, but it is early and I really
4:36 have not had my caffeine. I need to stop
4:37 talking about how I need to get
4:38 caffeine, but it's very early. It's
4:41 around 7:30, 8:00 in the A.M., maybe a
4:44 little late or 8ish. By the time I get
4:45 this uploaded, I probably about 8:30 or
4:47 9, but it's still somewhat early. Too
4:51 early really for these sunglasses, but I
4:53 have a tremendous buildup of sleep and
4:55 and my eyes still have not awoken
4:57 yet. So hopefully soon. Hopefully the
5:00 solar system and it's the excitement of
5:02 the solar system and
5:04 Mercury. What is this? a sign for
5:08 Mercury. Look at
5:10 this little mirror. There's a little
5:12 mirror. Look at that. There's us in
5:14 there. There's us right there. Look,
5:16 there's us right inside of there.
5:17 There's my
5:19 glasses. There's all kind of little
5:21 weird cylinder spheres of marble in
5:24 here. I'm not really sure what that is
5:26 dedicated for. All kind of info along
5:29 the solar. Not only are the planets, but
5:32 also look at this. That's the comet of
5:35 Haley, also known as Bill Haley's comet.
5:40 Haley's comet right there. I remember a
5:42 long time ago when I was a child,
5:44 Haley's comet was coming
5:47 through. And my dad and I, that's
5:49 Haley's comet right there. That's not
5:50 the comet we saw, but my dad and I went
5:53 out in the middle of the woods. We lived
5:54 in the panhandle of Florida at that
5:56 time. It was freezing cold. We tried to
5:59 see Haley's comet in the darkness in the
6:02 nether regions of the woods and we
6:04 looked up in the sky and we could not
6:06 find it. We didn't see it. Everybody was
6:09 excited about Haley's comet and the
6:11 excitement of that whole historical
6:14 event where Haley's comet comes through
6:16 once every what is it 97 years, 92
6:19 years, 118 years, four years. I don't
6:23 even know how often Haley's comet comes
6:25 through. But it was an exciting event
6:27 that we miss. We did not see Haley's
6:29 comet. And the reason, Dad, we did not
6:32 see Haley's comet is because it's right
6:34 here. It has landed in Gainesville. H
6:40 Gainesville. What is
6:42 Gainesville? Gainesville. It's Haley's
6:45 Comet right here. Haley's
6:49 Comet in Gainesville. Okay. We have
6:51 Venus down there. We have Earth. That's
6:53 us. We're right there on Earth. Wow.
6:58 We're actually going to look at us from
7:00 a totally opposite angle. These people
7:02 are probably all wondering what I'm
7:03 doing. And they're wondering why they're
7:05 here when they should be in here. Earth.
7:08 That's Earth right there. So, if you
7:10 look up in that cylinder way up there,
7:13 that guy driving by right there in that
7:15 truck right there could actually see
7:18 himself right there. Sir. sir in the
7:22 truck right there. He's actually right
7:24 up there witnessing himself going to
7:26 work or to school or wherever else you
7:29 go in that white Ford or is that a Chevy
7:33 truck? Work truck. Maybe he's going to
7:35 school in a work truck. Could you
7:37 actually do one other thing in a vehicle
7:39 that's made for another purpose? I think
7:42 you could. I serve a lot of purposes
7:45 that have nothing to do with the
7:46 original purpose that I started off on.
7:48 I was going to do a vlog about these
7:51 But I've just started about
7:58 cavit. All right, I'm going to let you
7:58 guys go. I really am not even awake yet.
8:01 Really, I have not even awoken yet. I'm
8:04 going to keep walking down this way and
8:06 I'm going to go back to my van and I'm
8:07 going to continue on. I'm kind of
8:09 heading north, maybe a little bit
8:11 northeast. Who knows where I'm going to
8:12 end up today in Florida and then I'm
8:14 going to keep careening northbound. Make

8:59 sing. I pay more attention to myself
9:01 when I sing. Now, pay attention to
9:13 this. Random, non-coherent ending to a
9:13 vlog that has nothing to do with the
9:15 original point of the vlog. Goodbye.
