Uber. Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo
0:20
here. Day three of
0:23
VidCon. It's my second channel, daily
0:25
vlog channel.
0:27
It's the daily woo. This is the bean
0:31
boozled challenge where you spin the
0:33
wheel. You spin the wheel here and you
0:36
get a jelly belly and it could be good
0:38
tasting or it could be disgusting. You
0:40
don't want the dead fish. You don't want
0:43
dead fish. Here we go.
0:46
Come on.
0:47
Oh, double dare. Strawberry banana
0:50
smoothie or dead fish. All right.
0:53
There's a trash can right there in case
0:54
you need a vomit bucket. What's it taste
0:56
like? What's it taste like? Dead fish.
0:59
You got the dead fish. How crazy that
1:02
you got the dead fish. That's gross. So,
1:05
it's either chocolate pudding or canned
1:07
dog food. Oh, you got the canned dog
1:10
food. Goodness. Yeah, you're two for
1:12
two. I know it's disgusting because I
1:14
can smell it. I can smell it off of your
1:17
lips. Like, I can imagine just me
1:19
vicariously smelling it. How it must
1:22
taste. Here at the Nickelodeon booth, I
1:24
got a free
1:36
Got to love free stuff. This guy's
1:36
throwing out free packs of gum. Can I
1:37
have one? Yeah. Here we go. Oh, fail. I
1:42
missed it. I will never play in the NFL.
1:45
You have to be happy about free gum.
1:46
Anything that's free is good and free
1:48
gum is extra good. Being at VidCon
1:51
really makes me think of how the
1:52
internet and how YouTube has changed
1:54
since I started doing videos back in
1:57
2010 and 2011 when I first officially
2:00
started my channel, not only this daily
2:03
vlog channel, but my main channel, the
2:04
Adam the Woo channel. I had no idea that
2:07
people would ever watch my videos or
2:09
that YouTube would ever reach the amount
2:12
of people who watch on a daily basis.
2:14
and VidCon. The cool thing about
2:16
conventions like this, it really drives
2:18
the point home of how many people watch
2:22
videos. All right, I'm here with
2:23
Reckless Eating and uh something
2:25
happened to Chris. What happened in your
2:27
mouth last night? I tried stuffing 24
2:29
scorpions in my mouth and you ate 24
2:33
scorpions at the same time and I think
2:35
the stingers and the claws like
2:37
destroyed my throat. So, you can hear
2:39
it. You can hear it in your voice for
2:40
sure. Yeah, he's taking it easy for me.
2:42
You're taking it easy on this on this.
2:43
So, what am I doing? What am I doing for
2:44
you guys? So, you picked out of our bag
2:46
of goodies. Uh, this is from the Tim
2:48
Burton Batman film, 1989. This is just
2:51
hard candy we got off of eBay for This
2:53
is Michael Keaton right here. Yeah. For
2:54
like three bucks. And people always say,
2:56
"Oh my god, like you find the rarest
2:57
stuff." I just go on eBay and search.
2:59
Like nobody's looking for this. And I'm
3:01
going to consume this. We're going to
3:02
eat it. Yeah. Try this thing out. So
3:04
that's what that that looks like. It
3:05
looks like medicine, but it has the
3:08
Batman emblem right on the front of it.
3:09
It's like the bat signal. So I'm going
3:11
to be I'm going to be eating this. It's
3:13
like a It's like a Batman pill. Well,
3:14
from 1989, so whatever that would be.
3:16
So, this is 2016, so it' be 27 years
3:20
ago. There you go. Yeah. 27 sound right.
3:22
I think I've had these before. I The
3:24
moment I saw what these look like and
3:26
that reminded me of the suginess like
3:28
coming out, I think that I had these as
3:30
a child. So, this may be a return for
3:32
me. Tip it up. You just tip it up. If
3:34
these aren't horrible, I might tip it
3:36
up. It's just sugar. So, I you can't go
3:38
wrong with it. It's fine. So, all right.
3:40
Let's do it.
3:42
And check these out. These are Jurassic
3:44
Park Raptor bites. And you're going to
3:46
eat these, right? Of course. What's your
3:48
channel name? Liam's Lunchbox. Liam's
3:50
Lunchbox is about to consume some raptor
3:53
bites that are probably about two and a
3:54
half decades old. Yeah. So, good luck
3:56
with good luck with that, buddy.
4:26
The whole thing is stupid. I hate my
4:26
landlord. I hate my life.
4:34
Or turn into a time to be the face of
4:34
your face's mom. Yeah, you know, just
4:36
chilling in my room that VidCon hooked
4:38
up for me. They throw me all kind of
4:40
perks. Actually, I'm just kidding. It's
4:41
these guys room. I've invaded I've
4:43
invaded their space. I have to stay in
4:46
my unequipped house that has pretty much
4:49
nothing in it because I sold everything
4:50
I own. And they are staying here with an
4:53
awesome view of the pool down there.
4:55
This is awesome. Look at
4:57
this. I live right over there. So, see
5:00
where that church is? Okay. I'm like a
5:02
mile past that church steeple. That's
5:04
the Crystal Cathedral over there.
5:11
VidCon has come to an end and I'm kind
5:11
of glad it's over because this was my
5:14
last hurrah, if you will, in Southern
5:17
California. And by VidCon ending, that
5:20
means that the time is nigh or the time
5:24
is near, if that's the correct
5:27
terminology, to be getting ready to
5:30
leave California in two, maybe 3 days, 3
5:34
and 1/2 days. I'm kind of on the fence
5:37
with it. I'm kind of up in the air on
5:39
when I am departing. Now, I have nothing
5:43
planned other than packing my van up,
5:46
scrubbing down the house, cleaning
5:48
things, tying up some loose ends in
5:51
Southern California before departing in
5:54
the next two, three, three and a halfish
5:57
days. And I don't even know for sure
6:00
when exactly I will be departing, but
6:03
rest assured, you will be the first to
6:05
know through these vlogs. Let's talk
6:08
about VidCon for a second. VidCon is
6:10
very fun for me. I cannot speak for
6:13
everyone else there, but it is fun for
6:16
me for certain reasons. And those
6:18
reasons are I get to see friends from
6:21
around the country who do videos who all
6:24
congregate to Anaheim at the convention
6:27
center. That is my favorite thing about
6:29
VidCon. I am not the normal VidConian,
6:33
if you will. In fact, I am not a normal
6:37
YouTuber in my opinion. I don't think I
6:40
am a quote unquote normal YouTuber. And
6:43
what I mean by that is these vlogs and
6:46
my main channel videos are in the lower
6:49
percentile of what everyone else on
6:52
YouTube is doing. You can correct me if
6:55
I am wrong on this. In fact, I would
6:57
like your feedback by leaving some
6:58
comments. Do you think that what I am
7:00
doing is in the lower percentile
7:04
different than what most other YouTubers
7:07
are doing? So, when I go to VidCon,
7:10
there is a part of me when I see
7:12
everyone there and as wonderful it is to
7:14
meet people and say hello and see old
7:16
friends and make new friends, there's a
7:18
part of me that feels like I am not the
7:22
demographic that VidCon is really known
7:27
for or catering to. So, if you go to
7:30
VidCon, you're not going to see
7:33
5,000 mi walking around. You're going to
7:36
see a lot of people that are not like
7:39
me, that do content not like me. And the
7:42
beautiful thing about YouTube is that
7:44
anybody can do any type of video. No
7:47
matter what the subject is, anyone can
7:49
do it and put it out there, put their
7:51
thoughts out there, put their ideas out
7:52
there, put their creations and their
7:54
creative energy out there into the world
7:57
on this wonderful thing, not only of the
8:00
internet, but also this wonderful thing
8:02
known as YouTube. So, YouTube is good in
8:05
that way and VidCon is good in that way.
8:08
But if you've ever been to VidCon, you
8:10
know exactly what I am talking about.
8:11
It's a lot of younger people than me
8:14
doing different types of content than
8:17
what I do. Doing the adventure type
8:19
videos, which is like pretty much what I
8:21
do. I like to go out, learn a little bit
8:24
of history, do movie locations and
8:25
abandoned places. That is not what
8:28
VidCon is. Even though VidCon is a broad
8:31
spectrum of stuff, VidCon caters more to
8:34
a younger crowd to, you know, teenagers,
8:37
pre-teenagers, young adults, doing
8:40
different types of videos than what I
8:42
do. And while I will continue going to
8:44
conventions, especially VidCon and stuff
8:46
like that, it's more for the aspect of
8:49
just meeting up with people and seeing
8:52
old friends and making new friends more
8:54
than it is catering knowledge and
8:56
learning things about how I can hone my
8:59
skills of doing YouTube. It didn't
9:02
really cater to me in that aspect. So,
9:05
if you think going to VidCon, if you if
9:08
you are doing types of videos like I am
9:10
doing, then VidCon might not exactly be
9:13
the place that you should go to to learn
9:16
and hone your craft. It is more of a
9:19
mecca of people going to see their
9:23
favorite YouTube quote unquote
9:25
celebrities, if you will, and just meet
9:28
and greets and things like that. That is
9:30
really about 90% of what VidCon is. It's
9:34
not really a I don't want to say it's
9:36
not, but it's like mostly not a learning
9:40
experience. You're not being trained on
9:42
how to like get better at your craft. At
9:45
least that's what I take about it. Some
9:47
people might have a different of
9:48
opinion, but I just wanted to share my
9:50
thoughts of VidCon. As fun as it was,
9:53
the main reason I love it is just to
9:55
hang out with friends and meet new
9:57
friends. I've said so much, yet I've
9:59
said so little. I am super stoked about
10:02
the future because very soon I will not
10:06
be in this home anymore. You will not be
10:07
seeing this backdrop in these vlogs
10:10
anymore. And I'm going to be stepping my
10:11
vlogs up another notch when I leave
10:14
because I am going to be devoting all of
10:17
my energy to traveling and to videos. So
10:22
get excited. I'm excited. I will see you
10:25
guys tomorrow. Love you guys. Vlog
