1:03 It's turning in backstage at Disneyland.

1:06 The cool thing about Disneyland is when

1:07 you drive around, you always see them

1:09 exiting and entering the park with

1:11 pieces of the park. It happens all the

1:13 time around here. It's pretty

1:15 cool. Looks like they had some kind of

1:17 rambunctious party here last night.

1:20 There is all kind of

1:21 streamers, confetti, paperier-mâché.

1:24 Hey, that's not papier-mâché, but

1:26 there's some sort of streamers in that

1:27 tree. We should all be very afraid

1:29 because Jay is now the owner of a Canon

1:33 DSLR. And even though I did not get much

1:35 sleep over the last 3 or 4 days, you

1:38 texted me last night and said, "Are you

1:41 back yet?" I said, "Yes, I'm back in

1:42 California." You said, "You want to go

1:43 to rope drop at Disneyland?" I said,

1:45 "Why not?" And then you said, "I have a

1:47 new camera." And you wanted to document

1:49 something that was just announced in the

1:52 last few days that they are going to be

1:54 removing and getting rid of here at

1:56 Disneyland. So, it's good that you have

1:57 that now. You're going to be learning

2:00 how to take pictures and you have a good

2:02 subject matter to take pictures because

2:03 they are removing the Skyway Tower from

2:07 Fantasy Land. Who knows how soon? Who

2:10 knows? Another piece of history removed.

2:13 Even though Main Street is open, the

2:15 park technically is not open yet because

2:18 rope drop has not happened. That happens

2:20 in just a few minutes. I'm checking my

2:22 proverbial watch. Soon rope drop will

2:24 happen. And these throngs of people will

2:26 go to their perspective lands on what

2:29 they want to see, what they want to

2:30 ride, what they want to

2:38 do. Why is Peter paying all by his

2:38 lonesome? Why are you all by yourself

2:41 hanging out over here? He's got a new

2:42 camera. Oh, whoa. A cannon. Did you ever

2:45 ride the Skyway Tower when you were

2:47 young? I did. It was awesome. We go

2:48 through the Matter Horn over to

2:50 Tomorrowland. So, this place holds a lot

2:52 of memories for you. A lot. Right up

2:54 there. A young Jay. A young Jay Whippers

2:58 Snapper climbed those stairs. Those are

3:00 your feet, Jay. Those are your feet

3:01 climbing those stairs. And you went

3:03 right up there. You got in a sky bucket

3:05 and you looked over Walt Disney's

3:09 Disneyland.

3:10 went through the Matter Horn over to

3:12 Tomorrowland. And this is going to be a

3:15 relic of the past very, very soon. Now,

3:18 if you had to make the final decision,

3:20 if you were in the higherups of Disney,

3:23 would you restore it? Would you make it

3:25 into something else? Like refurbish it?

3:27 What would you do with the Sky Tower if

3:29 you were in charge? I'd bring back the

3:31 Skyway. You'd bring back the Skyway.

3:33 Yeah. In the past, you have said that it

3:36 would be cool to open it maybe as a

3:37 restaurant or a seating area or maybe a

3:40 place where they just sell snacks, a

3:41 meet and greet. That's a good idea. They

3:44 did not listen to your opinions or your

3:46 ideas. They never do. One day when you

3:48 were in charge, everything will change.

3:50 You would have walked up these stairs

3:52 into the tower itself and they got in

3:55 the bucket and the bucket would have

3:57 popped right out of there. It would have

3:59 shot you out and then up over the park.

4:06 last day it was operating. Someone just

4:08 loaded in the bucket and now they're

4:09 heading over Fantasy Land straight

4:13 Matterhorn. Man, look at that. Those are

4:16 the good old days. I never got to ride

4:18 the one here at Disneyland, but I got to

4:20 ride the one at Walt Disney World. And

4:22 even just watching this makes me miss

4:24 those things a lot. Just going over and

4:26 looking down at the park, seeing

4:28 everyone having a good time.
