0:04 TGIM. Thank goodness it's Monday. Coming
0:07 to you from
0:09 Disneyland. And the castle is festoned
0:12 with 60th anniversary diamonds. The
0:15 diamond celebration is about to be in
0:18 full swing starting on Friday. This
0:22 Friday, Disneyland is kicking off the
0:24 60th anniversary. Even though July 17th
0:27 is the technical 60th anniversary, they
0:30 are starting it a little early this
0:32 weekend with a 24-hour event that I will
0:36 be
0:37 attending. And it's Monday and I
0:39 figured, heck it, let me come out here,
0:42 sit in front of the castle, and talk to
0:45 you guys about a few things that have
0:46 been on my mind recently. I also want to
0:50 let you know that today, this Monday is
0:53 five weeks, five entire weeks where I
0:58 have not drank soda. I have not drank
1:01 coffee. I have not drank milk. I have
1:02 not drank juice. I have not drank tea. I
1:04 have not drank anything in a liquid form
1:07 other than
1:08 H2O, aqua, aqua, however you want to
1:12 pronounce it. water, fresh, warm or cold
1:16 or room temperature depending on my mood
1:19 has been the only thing consumed in a
1:21 liquid form into my body and I am
1:24 feeling super super super good. I'm
1:27 feeling revived, refreshed and very
1:30 energetic. It is very interesting and
1:32 very true that what they say about what
1:34 you put into your body is basically what
1:37 you become what actually makes your body
1:39 feel the way it does. You are what you
1:41 eat, they say. And also that also goes
1:44 for you are what you drink. I do enjoy
1:47 soda and I probably will go back to
1:50 drinking soda at the end of this 60 day
1:54 water cleanse that I am on now. I will
1:57 not be drinking the same exorbitant
1:59 amount of soda. I will use it as a
2:01 celebratory beverage. I do not drink
2:04 alcohol. It's been a long time since
2:06 I've had alcohol. I never really fancied
2:08 myself as much of a drinker. The few
2:10 times in my life that I did drink were
2:12 few and far between. Every once in a
2:15 while on sporadic years, I would say to
2:17 myself, I should probably have an
2:19 alcoholic beverage and see what all the
2:21 hubbub and fuss is about. So, I did have
2:24 that lifestyle for a very short time in
2:26 my life. But the majority of my life,
2:28 especially my adult life, and of course
2:30 my child life, cuz who's drinking when
2:32 they are a child? Children should not
2:34 drink. My adult life, I've always been a
2:37 non-drinker. And the last time I've
2:38 actually had any sort sort of alcoholic
2:41 beverage was actually in 2005. So we're
2:44 10 years in. I am 10 years in to my 10
2:48 years without any alcohol in my life.
2:51 And I am 5 weeks into only having water
2:55 in my life. So pretty fantastic. this
2:58 new fangle diet plan, which I hate to
3:01 call it a diet plan, lifestyle change,
3:03 eating healthier stuff, losing a little
3:06 bit of weight, getting a little bit
3:08 thinner, getting a little more mentally
3:11 prepared has actually made me think
3:14 about other things in my life that need
3:16 to change, other accomplishments.
3:18 I'm a big fan, a huge fan of actually
3:22 setting goals, setting plateaus,
3:25 actually. Not just going through life on
3:26 a day-to-day basis saying, "Oh,
3:28 whatever. I'm going to do whatever I
3:29 want to do." I actually enjoy having a
3:32 goal, having an aspiration. So, today
3:35 I'm going to share another aspiration,
3:37 another goal I have in the theme of
3:40 adventure.
3:42 Adventure Land is the perfect place to
3:46 be entering when we're talking about
3:49 aspirations
3:50 and
3:53 adventures. As you know, my first
3:55 channel, the Adam Woo channel, is a
3:57 quote unquote adventure channel. It
4:00 started basically so I could get off of
4:03 the couch, get out of the house. Very
4:05 rarely will you ever see a video on the
4:07 main channel or the Adam the Woo
4:09 channel. When I say rarely, I say
4:10 probably the
4:13 0.00001% of any video I've ever done has
4:15 actually been inside a homestead, inside
4:19 of a house. They're always out and about
4:20 in the world seeing wonderful things.
4:23 Like the genie himself, who just so
4:27 happens to be right
4:30 here. See, the genie, he does not sit at
4:33 home. Now, he does confine himself to a
4:36 bottle sometimes, but once he thirsts
4:38 for adventure and his bottle is rubbed,
4:42 all of a sudden, the genie comes out.
4:43 And just like I am in the world of
4:45 vlogging, the genie is actually out
4:49 enjoying life and enjoying the fresh
4:52 air. And that's what the Adam the Woo
4:54 channel and this Daily Woo channel are
4:55 all about. Getting off the couch,
4:57 getting out of the house, seeing and
5:00 enjoying wonderful things in society.
5:03 Did I do the intro? It's my second
5:04 channel, Daily Blog channel. It's the
5:07 daily
5:08 woo. Talking about goals, talking about
5:12 numerical amounts of days that you can
5:15 actually take something that you are
5:16 normally a big habit forming aspect of
5:20 your life, taking that and annihilating
5:23 it. So, if you are used to eating fast
5:25 food every day, let's say I'm going to
5:27 go a week, let's say I'm going to go a
5:29 week without eating fast food. You could
5:30 have that as a week-long plateau, 7
5:33 days. Or you could say, I'm going to go
5:35 7 days without drinking alcohol, or I'm
5:37 going to go 7 days without drinking
5:38 soda, or I'm going to go 7 days without
5:41 smoking. So, that's what we're talking
5:42 about here on today's Daily Woo, which
5:45 also is another numerical goal that I
5:49 set for myself when I started these
5:51 vlogs
5:53 over 150 days ago. I started this vlog
5:56 channel and I have not missed a day yet.
5:58 So that's a big part of me is basically
6:03 setting a goal for myself, writing it
6:06 down, and then going out and doing it on
6:08 a numerical amount of days. So I got to
6:12 thinking. I've been doing these vlogs
6:13 for 150 I think today is 150, no
6:18 1,51 days in a row. I've been doing the
6:22 water diet for five straight weeks. Day
6:25 35 today. Once I hit day 40, I did a
6:29 diet a few years ago where I went on a
6:31 water diet. I went 40 days without
6:33 drinking any soda. After I cross the
6:35 41th day, which is only in six days, I
6:38 will reach the very the very pinnacle of
6:42 the the amount of time in my life that I
6:44 have not had soda in my entire adult
6:47 life. Probably since I was 16 or 17
6:49 years old, I've been drinking a soda.
6:52 Once I get to day 40, I will actually
6:54 have reached the total amount of days in
6:56 my life that I have not drank soda. And
6:59 that is actually super awesome. So, I'm
7:00 about to reach a plateau in my life, a
7:03 first time accomplishment for the most
7:05 amount of times not drinking soda. So,
7:07 that's very exciting. Getting off track
7:10 here, but basically what I wanted to
7:12 talk about you today is basically the
7:14 numerical order of goals that I set for
7:18 myself. So, we have day 1,051 today on
7:21 the daily vlog, the Daily Woo YouTube
7:23 channel, which is free to subscribe, by
7:26 the way, as well as the Adam Lu channel,
7:28 and we have the five weeks only drinking
7:31 water. I am on a quest for 60 days with
7:34 only water, and I'm feeling great. Now,
7:37 there is a thing that I was taught by my
7:39 father a long time ago. In the Bible,
7:41 they have a thing called fasting. And a
7:43 lot of people do it, even though for not
7:44 the biblical or the religious aspects of
7:47 it. Basically fasting is going without
7:49 food. Now I am eating. I'm just eating
7:50 lesser portions. But there are people
7:52 who will go three days, seven days
7:54 without eating anything. And while that
7:56 does seem a little extreme, those people
7:59 during their fast, now I am not
8:01 condoning fasting or saying that I am on
8:03 a fast, but the people that actually do
8:07 fasts in the midst of their fasting,
8:10 they actually say and they actually have
8:12 reported that their mind is a lot
8:14 clearer and they actually accomplish a
8:16 heck of a lot more stuff through their
8:18 day-to-day life because they are not
8:20 concentrated on food. And I have
8:23 actually kind of seen some truth to
8:25 that. Especially, by the way, look how
8:27 empty New Orleans Square is this
8:29 morning. This is just after rope drop.
8:31 There's the Mark Twain right over there.
8:33 Big Thunder Mountain, the Haunted
8:35 Mansion. There are no lines. So, once I
8:36 get done filming this vlog, I'm going to
8:38 go ride Haunted Mansion and see the
8:39 Hatbox Ghost again for probably the 15th
8:41 time. Pay a visit to the new Hatbox
8:43 Ghost and probably go get a fast pass or
8:46 maybe even just walk right on Big
8:48 Thunder Mountain. All right. So, back to
8:51 what I was saying about giving things
8:53 up. When you give certain habits up,
8:57 after you give that habit up, you start
8:59 to apply your focus and your energy
9:01 towards other things. So, here is my
9:06 new announcement, my new challenge to
9:10 myself. As you know, I have Twitter, I
9:12 have Instagram, and I have Facebook.
9:14 Those are huge social networks. And
9:17 anyone in the medium of self-promotion,
9:20 in the in any form of business, any form
9:22 of personal aspect of you trying to
9:24 promote something, anyone will tell you.
9:26 Anyone out there, if you look it up, no
9:28 matter who you talk to, every single
9:30 person will actually tell you,
9:32 especially that woman right there who
9:34 gave me the interesting glare thinking,
9:36 yes, social networks are a very
9:39 important part of self-promotion and
9:42 promoting any sort of business or
9:44 promoting yourself, whatever you are
9:45 trying to get out into the world, you
9:48 should not falter and not have social
9:50 networks. And I think there is a degree,
9:53 a huge degree of truth to that. But I
9:55 also think I've been thinking maybe my
9:57 mind is not clear through this whole
9:59 water only diet thing but I have been
10:01 thinking that social networks are kind
10:03 of a curse to a degree because they
10:06 actually take part of your energy part
10:09 of your focus. And when I say your I'm
10:11 talking about me I'm talking directly
10:13 about my life. They take my energy about
10:16 remember the beginning of the vlog
10:17 adventure land me doing adventures. I'm
10:20 starting to realize that social
10:23 networks I have a quest for myself and
10:26 the quest is are social networks
10:29 starting to infiltrate other parts of my
10:31 life and take up more of my time that
10:34 could be better
10:36 spent adventuring more, filming more,
10:40 doing other things. And not just doing
10:43 other things, but are social networks
10:46 actually taking away of what we actually
10:48 see, what we actually enjoy. And I say
10:52 this because let's take for example, I
10:54 will come out to Disneyland, which is
10:55 one of my favorite places in the world.
10:58 And when I'm at Disneyland, I'm always
11:00 taking pictures for Instagram, Facebook,
11:02 and Twitter. I am posting them. I'm
11:05 posting where I am so people can meet up
11:06 with me. Let's say I will post a tweet
11:09 on Twitter, Adam the Woo on Twitter.
11:11 Hey, I just got off Pirates of the
11:13 Caribbean, the ride. And as I walk out,
11:14 sometimes people will meet up and say,
11:16 "I saw that you posted that on Twitter."
11:19 So throughout the day, I'm very consumed
11:21 with replying to people, reading
11:24 people's posts, posting where I am. I
11:27 actually need some water right now. I'm
11:29 not getting choked up about the subject
11:31 of this vlog, but I am getting very
11:33 thirsty. I probably should have had a
11:35 water before I started the vlog. So, I
11:38 am going to announce now. You see my
11:41 voice? I sounded like a 16-year-old
11:44 teenage. Adam, announce now. My voice
11:47 cracking. I'm going to announce now that
11:50 starting today, in the midst of this
11:52 water diet, I am actually going to go 30
11:56 days from tonight. Later today, I will
11:59 be posting a little bit, but after later
12:01 in the afternoon, this will be the final
12:05 day for the next 30 days that I will be
12:07 posting on Twitter, on Instagram, and on
12:11 Facebook. So, basically, the only thing
12:13 that I'm going to put out into the world
12:16 for the next 30 days will be here on
12:18 this Daily Woo channel. I will not stop
12:20 doing vlogs every single day. Tomorrow I
12:23 will be doing a daily vlog as well as
12:26 adventure videos. And the whole point of
12:28 this is for me not to be consuming my
12:31 day walking around looking at my phone.
12:33 Once I start going somewhere, I
12:36 immediately think, I need to take
12:38 pictures of this. I need to tweet this.
12:40 I need to put this on Instagram. I need
12:42 to post about this on Facebook. And then
12:44 I spend a heck of a lot of time, even if
12:46 I'm not posting, reading comments, going
12:49 through, scrolling through comments, and
12:52 I consume probably three to four, maybe
12:55 5 hours, no exaggeration, of my day just
12:58 reading comments, posting things.
13:00 Probably that is a very low, actually
13:04 that's probably a very low estimate on
13:06 how much time I actually spend on social
13:08 networks a day. So here is my thought
13:10 process. I will not be deleting. I I
13:13 repeat this. I will not be deleting my
13:16 Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
13:18 However, today, tonight, later, I will
13:21 post this vlog on Facebook, and I'll
13:23 probably post one final post on Facebook
13:26 that I will repost on Twitter, and I
13:28 will repost on Instagram. And that will
13:31 be the
13:33 last. Maybe I am getting choked up about
13:35 this. Maybe this might not be such a
13:37 good decision, but we do not know if our
13:40 decisions are right until we actually do
13:42 them. Do or do not. Like Yoda says,
13:46 there is no try. But I am going to try
13:48 something Yoda. And I'm going to do
13:50 something Yoda. So, actually, I'm doing
13:52 both things. As of today, there will be
13:56 no more posts on Facebook for 30 days.
13:58 After 30 days, I will go back to
14:01 peppering in some posts on social
14:03 networks. Twitter, Instagram, and
14:04 Facebook. Facebook is Facebook/theaily
14:07 woo. Twitter is Adam theWoo, and
14:09 Instagram is Adam the Woo. You can go
14:11 over there and add me on there. But,
14:13 however, this will be the last day you
14:15 see me post anything on those said
14:19 social networks for 30 days.
14:23 Now, speaking of 60th anniversary
14:26 24-hour celebration is actually this
14:28 Friday. I will be in the park. I will be
14:30 out front from 4:00 a.m. and staying
14:32 from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. on
14:35 Saturday morning. You can find me in the
14:37 park. Justin Scard will also be here. He
14:39 will be posting on Twitter, Instagram,
14:41 Facebook. I'm sure a plethora of other
14:43 friends of mine, acquaintances, kindred
14:45 spirits will be in the park meeting,
14:48 hanging out with me, posting where I am.
14:49 You could find me in that fashion or
14:52 Disneyland is really not a massive park.
14:54 Walt Disney World Disney Disney area of
14:58 Disneyland is actually half the size of
15:01 Magic Kingdom at at Walt Disney World.
15:03 So, it's not really super huge to walk
15:06 around out here. So, you have 24 hours
15:08 to find me in the park. I will be here.
15:10 I will not be leaving. I will not be
15:11 going to DCA Disney California
15:14 Adventure. I will be staying in
15:15 Disneyland for 24 straight hours
15:17 starting on Friday. However, I will not
15:20 be posting on Twitter. I will not be
15:22 posting on Facebook. I will not be
15:23 posting on Instagram starting today for
15:27 30 days from now. No more social
15:31 networks for me. I'm cleansing myself
15:33 with this water diet. And I'm also
15:35 cleansing my brain from social networks.
15:38 kind of a little experiment, a Doc Brown
15:40 experiment to see if anything changes,
15:43 anyone interested in what I am doing
15:46 changes and seeing how much more I can
15:48 actually accomplish. Remember we talking
15:50 about the fasting when you don't eat,
15:52 you actually take your energy and you
15:55 focus that energy towards other things.
15:58 So instead of focusing on social
15:59 networks for the next 30 days, I will be
16:02 focusing on more videos for the main
16:05 channel, Adam the Woo channel, as well
16:07 as concentrating more on these vlogs. So

17:12 this 30-day no social network challenge
17:15 to myself. I will not be reading
17:16 comments. I will not be replying. I will
17:18 not be checking any of those social
17:20 networks after this afternoon or this
17:24 evening. So, let's all breathe a sigh of
17:28 relief. That's right. Peter Faulk,
17:30 Columbbo, he never had social networks
17:33 and he still accomplished a heck of a
17:36 lot in his life. So this is an
17:37 interesting experiment. I am going
17:39 against completely doing a 180 of what
17:42 every vlogger, what every person on the
17:46 internet, what every business owner will
17:48 tell you. I am completely instead of
17:50 walking forward, I'm turning around
17:52 backwards as an experiment. I am not
17:56 completely getting rid of social
17:58 networks. they are going to still be
17:59 there. So, 31 days from today, I will be
18:02 posting my first post in 30 days. This
18:04 is crazy, but my mind is made up on this
18:08 fact. So, if you have something to tweet
18:10 me, do it today because after tonight, I
18:12 will not be on social networks, Twitter,
18:14 Instagram, and Facebook, and we'll see
18:16 how it goes. Leave some comments down

18:36 I don't know if I'll have it up before
18:37 the 24-hour event. Either way, I'm going
18:39 to be filming a a main channel video
18:42 later this week, which I will hopefully
18:43 have up midweek. And then Friday, I'll
18:45 be at the 24-hour event right here at
18:48 Disneyland. I will probably be doing
18:49 every attraction 14 times and and
18:53 documenting that for my main channel,
18:54 the Adam the Woo channel. I will be in
18:56 the park, try to find me. I will be
18:59 wearing a Adam the Woo, the Daily Woo
19:02 shirt. It actually is a maroon shirt. It
19:05 has sunglasses across it and it says my
19:08 second channel, Daily Vlog channel. It's
19:10 the Daily Woo. That is the shirt I will
19:12 be wearing in here. I hope to see a lot
19:14 of you guys here, but you will not see
19:16 me on social networks for 30 30 days.
19:21 This is quite an experiment that I've
19:24 actually set up for myself. All right.
19:27 Well, I've said it and whenever I say
19:28 something, I do it. I am not a talker
19:32 and not a nonfollowuper of actions of
19:35 said words. When I say something,
19:38 99.999% of the time I do what I am set
19:42 out to do. So, I made the announcement.
19:44 There's no turning back now. After
19:46 today, no more social networks. So, I
19:48 will see you guys later. I love you

20:32 actually partake of. But when those
20:33 things become a habit that can actually
20:36 take over your life and take away your
20:38 creativity, time, time that you can
20:40 actually do other things and create
20:42 other things, those habits can actually
20:45 take place of what you really, really
20:50 want to do. And that's what this vlog is
20:51 all about. All right, I'm going to go
20:52 ride Haunted Mansion. There is no line
