2:28 The parade route that they would have

2:28 walked down would have been right down

2:29 this road, straight that way. In fact,

2:31 you can see those white awnings as the

2:33 giant walks underneath them. The giant

2:36 would be right here where my tripod is.

2:38 Pretend my tripod is a giant. We're

2:41 reimulating the parade right now. I'm

2:43 one person and my tripod is another

2:45 person. It's only a threeman parade and

2:47 one of us is a tripod. But that's all

2:49 right. We're having

2:56 fun. She's smoking a cigarette enjoying

2:56 the parade just like this guy in the

2:58 movie was. Same pole right here. Same

3:00 awning. The camera would have panned up

3:02 like this and that's where the parade

3:04 route would have been.

3:14 There's a police officer over there

3:14 blocking traffic right there. In fact,

3:16 they're having a parade out here. How

3:18 ironic. Are you still smoking over

3:20 there? No. You're supposed to get back

3:22 over there and smoke. No

3:25 smoke.

3:40 And here's the shot again of what they

4:12 Well, hello again. Due to the nature of

4:12 the road being blocked off due to a

4:14 parade, which is ironic cuz there was a

4:16 parade in the movie. There's a real life

4:17 parade when we're here, but due to that

4:19 nature, that road is now blocked off.

4:22 Look at this. There's some kids over

4:23 there on on top of that scaffolding of

4:25 that bridge. That can't be safe. They're

4:27 watching the

4:28 parade. They just got told to come down.

4:31 Look. Look.

4:33 busted.

4:42 The car barricades down that bridge. It

4:42 was a helicopter shot. The helicopter

4:44 would have been fluttering around. But

4:47 over here, you see the church at the end

4:48 of the road. That's where the giant

4:50 stood and tipped the old woman's car on

4:53 its side. And you can see that church

5:01 right over this way is where the red

5:01 charger would have been parked in the

5:03 parking lot of the dream sequence at the

5:04 end of the movie. They actually would

5:06 have been coming right out of those

5:08 doors there.

5:23 cold. Spinning out the tires. It would

5:26 have pulled right out that way.

5:34 There are some cool looking clouds. Are

5:34 those cumulan nimbus clouds? Cotton

5:37 candy clouds. Ah, that's the technical

5:38 term. Yeah. So, this is the school where

5:41 he would have gone and proposed to his

5:44 wife. They called it Auburn University

5:47 in the movie, but it's really not Auburn

5:48 University.

6:50 This is the dark corridor pathway that

6:50 he took on the way to

7:02 town. Man, this is pretty

7:02 crazy. And Tim Burton's stomping ground

7:06 appears to be made out of foam.

7:08 Yeah, it is styrofoam. Some sort of

7:10 outer shell on it. All this is fake.

7:14 It's not real wood. There's a chunk of

7:16 it right down

7:18 here. That actually hurt, but not as bad

7:20 as you think it would, cuz look, it's

7:22 like styrofoam on the

7:24 inside. Let's move on. Check out

7:32 that. A lot of mosquitoes out here,

7:32 though. Bugs.

7:38 movie magic here in Alabama. This is

7:38 pretty wild. Look at this. This is a

7:40 fake

7:41 tree. Look at this. Completely

7:44 fake. Nothing real here except me and

7:49 her right there. She's real. Check this

7:51 out. Set number eight piece there.

7:55 Stabilizer there. It's like a piece of

7:56 metal. Stabilizes this tree to keep it

7:59 from falling apart during

8:05 filming. Think I can get through this

8:05 way. This is the back side of the set.

8:09 Check out the restructured here. Make

8:11 sure that tree would stay in

8:33 place. Definitely changed a lot. You can

8:33 see the tree branches still in the same

8:34 arch. All this has grown over, of

8:37 course, and he would have walked

8:57 strung straight across
