0:06 Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here. I'm
0:06 out in the middle of nowhere on the top
0:09 of a ridge in the mountains at a place
0:12 called Corpsewood Manor. And leading to
0:16 Corpsewood Manor is a road called Dead
0:20 Horse Road. And that's what you're
0:23 looking at right now. Why do I have my
0:25 jacket exposed even though it's very
0:27 cold? And why am I wearing this bright
0:29 hat? I do love this hat. Haven't worn it
0:31 in a few days, but I did hear some
0:34 gunshots way off in the distance. I'm
0:36 assuming there's probably hunters on
0:39 this land, so I didn't want to be
0:40 adorned completely in black. I wanted to
0:43 wear some colorful colors. That way if a
0:45 hunter is out here hunting deer or bear
0:48 or whatever they're hunting out here in
0:50 this area on this ridge in this
0:53 mountainous region near Tennessee, near
0:56 Alabama, near Georgia, that trifecta
0:59 state area. I'm not sure exactly where I
1:02 am. I think I might be in Georgia. I
1:04 left Chattanooga and I'm on my way to
1:06 Aniston, Alabama. But I wanted to find
1:09 this place, Dead Horse
1:12 Road. Very difficult. This is one of the
1:14 most difficult places I've probably ever
1:16 hunted down for a vlog. By the time I
1:19 get this uploaded, it'll probably be in
1:21 the afternoon, but it is morning time
1:22 and I've been wandering around this
1:25 wilderness area for about an hour.
1:28 Couldn't really find a lot of good
1:30 directions online. So, I had to just
1:32 take it upon
1:34 myself and just kind of roam around old
1:37 school style. There's no internet signal
1:38 up here. I basically looked up a little
1:41 bit of the history on this place.
1:43 screenshotted it on my phone,
1:45 screenshotted what I could see on Google
1:47 satellite images. So, if you ever come
1:50 out here, prepare yourself for a little
1:51 bit of a hike because I am virtually in
1:54 the middle of nowhere. There is a
1:57 pathway down Dead Horse Road. Why do
2:01 they call it Dead Horse Road? Well, two
2:03 gentlemen that actually surveyed this
2:05 land, one of them was a professor and
2:08 his partner who would eventually people
2:10 figured out was actually his lover. They
2:12 decided to live off the grid. The
2:14 professor quit his job, sold all his
2:17 possessions. They put a trailer out here
2:21 on the property, and they built brick by
2:25 brick the wonderful manor that I'm about
2:28 to show you, the corpse wood manor. And
2:31 it was actually called that
2:34 before, that's right, before what I'm
2:36 about to tell
2:37 you, the hideous
2:40 murders that happened right where I
2:45 am. It's my second channel, daily vlog
2:48 channel. Oh man, it's the daily woo.
2:52 This is not a light-hearted
2:55 subject for a Saturday. Today is
2:58 Saturday and I hope you guys are having
2:59 a great weekend. Those that follow my
3:02 vlogs, those of you that actually just
3:04 stumbled on this video, welcome to my
3:07 second channel. I have two channels on
3:09 YouTube, the Adam the Woo channel and
3:10 this one, which is an unedited everyday
3:13 vlog called the Daily Woo. Now, let me
3:15 start this off by saying I am not an
3:18 expert on the supernatural, on the
3:21 paranormal, and I'm definitely not an
3:24 expert on this subject. There have been
3:26 books written on this, lots of blogs,
3:28 lots of articles, lots of news, stories
3:32 that have way more information than I
3:34 do. I'm just giving you what I have
3:36 heard in the little smidgen tidbit that
3:39 I have read in the last few days about
3:43 this place. So, everything I tell you,
3:45 take with a grain of salt. I'm sure this
3:48 video is going to leave lots of
3:50 comments, people finding this and
3:51 stumbling on it. This is a fantastic
3:53 location. Please do not, I hate to say
3:57 it, kill the messenger because the
4:00 message I'm delivering is not always
4:03 completely factual. These are unedited.
4:06 Every video I've ever done on this Daily
4:07 Woo channel is unedited. We don't know
4:09 what we're going to find. We don't know
4:10 what we're going to see. You're never
4:11 going to never going to know the weird
4:15 nonsensical words that come out of my
4:17 mouth. If you made it past that
4:19 disclaimer, let's go check out
4:22 Corpsewood Manor.
4:29 Did I do the intro? It's the daily woo.
4:29 I think I did. Okay, here we
4:46 go. We're actually miles from
4:46 civilization. I followed some maps I
4:48 found online. Found some message boards
4:50 of a few people who've actually been out
4:52 here.
4:55 So, I screenshotted those on my phone
4:56 because I do have no internet signal out
5:00 here, which is kind of scary. I almost
5:03 actually I almost actually gave up on
5:05 this location. Very rarely do I give up
5:08 and I'm glad I didn't. It's kind of
5:11 frightening walking around here for
5:13 quite some time, at least an hour
5:16 through the woods. Stumbled on a few
5:18 places I thought was it. I was
5:19 incorrect. I was not at the right place.
5:22 But now I've actually found the correct
5:26 place and I've actually not walked up to
5:28 it yet. I walked around the perimeter.
5:30 Then I walked back to the trail, the
5:33 dead horse road, which they actually
5:35 named that because when the two guys
5:36 were surveying this land, I may have
5:38 mentioned this at the beginning. They
5:39 actually found a dead horse. So the
5:43 story way before the two men were
5:46 murdered. That's right. They were
5:48 actually murdered on this property. It
5:50 started way before that because they
5:52 found a dead horse and they thought,
5:54 "Let's move to the property where we
5:58 found a dead horse." That's always
6:00 probably not the best sign. However,
6:02 these guys wanted to start a life of
6:04 their own. They wanted to get off the
6:06 grid. Wanted to get away from
6:08 everything. And they did it right here.
6:13 Shunka
6:15 gunk. Corpsewood Manor. This is all
6:19 that's
6:19 left. It actually burned down years and
6:22 years ago. And you can see a lot of the
6:24 trees have fallen, but there are some
6:28 remnants of what remains.
6:46 You see the cudoo and the poison ivy has
6:46 grown over the different areas and this
6:49 tree has
7:01 was. So the two guys built this on their
7:01 own. They lived out here and they were a
7:04 fan of all different types of spiritual
7:07 and non-spiritual things. They were
7:10 actually a lot of people assumed that
7:11 they were devil worshippers and some of
7:14 the people in the area that lived around
7:16 here did not take kindly to that or
7:19 their lifestyle. This was 1982 and they
7:22 were a gay couple living out here in the
7:25 middle of nowhere
7:27 supposedly practicing satanic witchcraft
7:31 and who knows what else. Well, some
7:33 people did not like that. That's where
7:36 the controversy comes into play. Two
7:39 gentlemen in the middle of the night. I
7:41 hate to call them gentlemen. Let's not
7:42 call them gentlemen. Two men, two males
7:46 came out here, tried to either rob the
7:49 place or just had something that they
7:53 did not like about the other two guys
7:55 and they actually killed them. They shot
7:57 them dead right here in this building.
8:02 And if that wasn't bad enough, they
8:04 actually had two dogs. The professor and
8:08 his partner had two dogs. I can't
8:10 remember what kind of dogs they were,
8:11 but one of the names of the dog was
8:15 Beelub, which is an actual name, a
8:18 nickname, if you will, of Satan. So
8:22 maybe they were practicing some sort of
8:24 satanic rituals. There were a lot of
8:27 interesting things in the house. A guy
8:30 showed up, a family friend of theirs
8:32 showed up a couple days later to tell
8:33 them of another friend had passed on in
8:37 another state or another county. Showed
8:39 up here and discovered that the murders
8:42 had happened. They apprehended the two
8:44 guys. The two guys who committed the
8:46 murders are actually still in prison for
8:48 life. I think they have two life
8:50 sentences for what they have done. But
8:53 this is where it all happened.
8:56 I encourage you to look up a lot of
8:58 articles, actually been a book written
8:59 on it, but there are a lot of good
9:00 articles online that are definitely more
9:02 fluent in what happened than what I am
9:05 telling
9:07 you. So, let's just take a look around.
9:10 I'm going to shut my mouth for a while.
9:12 Moment of quietness as we walk around
9:15 this the remnants of this fantastic
9:18 place.
10:12 You'll notice here this formation. This
10:12 was actually a winding staircase that
10:15 went up to the very top of this
10:18 building. You can actually see part of
10:20 it how it starts to wind around and then
10:23 of course it's all been knocked down.
10:25 It's like a metal door, like some sort
10:26 of a trap door there. And you can see
10:29 there was the front of the manor itself.
10:32 Let's walk around there.
10:58 It's pretty incredible to think that
10:58 these two guys took the initiative to
11:00 build this and they were living quote
11:02 unquote off the grid, if you will, which
11:05 means they did not have power, they did
11:07 not have electricity, and they did not
11:09 have indoor plumbing. In fact, they had
11:10 an outhouse. This whole majestic manor,
11:14 a mansion in the woods, if you will, did
11:18 not have electricity. That's basically
11:20 the way they wanted to live. Or maybe
11:23 they had planned on later putting that
11:25 stuff in, but actually died before it
11:27 could actually come to fruition. But
11:29 this is all that is left, which is
11:32 amazing that this is out here. When I
11:34 was walking down the path, it took me a
11:36 while to find this place. It felt like I
11:38 was walking to the evil dead cabin. In
11:41 fact, you can see my eyes wandering all
11:43 around cuz I feel like someone is out
11:46 here besides you and I, sir, ma'am. And
11:50 children, if there's any children
11:51 watching this, this is not really a
11:54 childish
11:57 subject, but it feels like someone you
11:59 ever you ever go somewhere where you're
12:01 alone and you just do not feel right.
12:04 You do not feel correct. You do not feel
12:07 like you're alone. Well, that's how I'm
12:09 feeling at this moment. Probably because
12:12 I'm in the middle of nowhere. It took me
12:13 so long to walk out here. I don't know
12:16 if it's the subject matter or just the
12:18 fact that I'm out here in the middle of
12:21 nowhere by
12:23 myself. So, this was the front. There's
12:26 actually some pictures online of what it
12:28 looked like when it was actually intact.
12:32 And I think this is very prominent in
12:35 those pictures.
12:55 Pretty
12:55 crazy. A little haunted history. I don't
12:59 know how many people that are watching
13:00 this believe in the
13:03 supernatural or what your philosophy is
13:05 on this, but a lot of people who've come
13:07 out here in the past, you can actually
13:10 read a lot of stuff online. And there's
13:11 some other videos of people have come
13:13 out here and done ghost hunts and
13:16 whatnot. And a lot of people who are
13:18 into that sort of thing, they actually
13:21 say that they have actually gotten quite
13:23 the readings, quite the vibes by being
13:27 out here. I mean, just look at this.
13:46 That's where they would have walked
13:46 in, gone inside, relaxed, trying to live
13:51 their life. Two guys who thought
13:53 differently than the rest of the world.
13:55 And whatever your philosophy or whatever
13:57 your thought process is on the way they
14:00 lived, the fact of the matter is the two
14:02 guys who were murdered here, killed
14:05 inside their own home, handbuilt home.
14:09 They had committed no
14:15 crime. And any way you look at it, that
14:15 is just a tragedy.
14:55 Look at that big door. And you can
14:55 actually see bullet holes in
15:04 it. Like I was saying, why I'm wearing I
15:04 should probably take this down. Why I'm
15:07 wearing this hat and this in case there
15:09 are hunters out here, I do not want them
15:10 to mistake me as something moving in the
15:12 woods. Maybe a deer or whatever else
15:14 they're hunting. Or maybe someone just
15:16 did not like the hauntedness of this
15:19 area, decided to blow some holes in that
15:22 door. Who knows? Been a few people out
15:25 here. There's a little bit of graffiti.
15:26 People have written their names. People
15:28 have actually done some bonfires
15:35 there. So, there have been people out
15:35 here, which is very interesting because
15:38 there really is nothing in this area.
15:42 And it takes you a while to find this
15:45 place. It is not
16:03 easy. All right. Now, I'm going to do
16:03 something very interesting. Those that
16:05 watch my vlogs know I leave stickers. If
16:08 you're stumbling on this vlog, I hope
16:09 you check out my website,
16:10 adamthewoo.com.
16:12 and I give away stickers that actually
16:14 have the Adam theWoo logo and the
16:16 adamthe.com on it. This might be a
16:18 toughy. You may never come out here. But
16:21 if you watch this video and you do, I'm
16:24 going to leave you a few stickers. Feel
16:25 free to take them and I'm going to place
16:28 them and hide them somewhere right now
16:30 for you at the front. This is probably
16:33 the most recognizable area of Corpsewood
16:37 Manor. So, let's place these stickers
16:41 somewhere. There's a brick
17:02 there. There's a brick with a hole in it
17:02 right
17:04 there next to this brick. big chunk of
17:08 granite or rock. There's that little
17:11 brick with a hole and it's right in
17:13 front of the main entrance to Corpsewood
17:16 Manor. So, if you're ever out here,
17:18 maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow,
17:20 maybe in a week or two, check out that
17:24 brick with the hole in it and get
17:26 yourself an Adam the Woo sticker. I keep
17:28 wanting to put this up as a habit, but I
17:31 am really worried
17:33 about getting shot, which is very ironic
17:35 because the two men inside here, they
17:38 were shot not by hunters, but by guys
17:41 with bad intentions. And that's when the
17:44 controversy is a very controversial
17:46 subject, believe it or not. A lot of
17:48 people say it was just a robbery gone
17:51 arry and not a hate crime. So, I want to
17:55 know what you think. start a
17:57 conversation by leaving some comments
17:58 down below. And if you find any sort of
18:01 information about Corpsewood Manor, or
18:04 maybe some of your experiences, feel
18:06 free to go over on my my social
18:08 networks, Twitter, Instagram, and
18:10 Facebook. See how I'm looking around?
18:12 I'm constantly looking around as if I'm
18:15 in general society. And if there's going
18:18 to be people around me, there is no one
18:21 around me. Or maybe there is. Maybe
18:23 there is someone else.
18:26 out here. But feel free to find any
18:28 photos, any information. Leave those on
18:32 my Facebook, on my Twitter, on my
18:35 Instagram, and I'll be happy to read
18:38 those and start a conversation with you
18:40 about that. What is
18:42 this? Now, this is
18:44 interesting. This may have been where
18:46 the outhouse was. This might have been
18:49 where the outhouse was, cuz check it
18:51 out. There's some sort of pipes
18:54 there. That's probably where the
18:58 outhouse cuz you see it is actually a
19:00 little bit of way from the actual home.
19:04 And then you turn and there you got it
19:06 right there. Townhouse.
19:42 I think I've actually found something
19:42 else. Right here was a tower, a
19:44 two-story tower, and in the top, don't
19:47 quote me on this, I might be incorrect.
19:50 Fact checked me please and let me know
19:53 if this is what it was called. But in
19:54 the top there was a room called the pink
19:57 room which is like a party room.
19:58 Whenever they would have guests over
20:00 they would be partying and carrying on
20:03 right up there in the pink room. I think
20:06 that's what it was called. And here's
20:08 the foundation of that tower. Whatever
20:11 is left in
20:27 it. Somewhere out here are actually two
20:27 crosses, two memorials that were placed
20:30 out to the two guys who lived here and
20:34 died here. I do not believe they're
20:37 actually buried on the property. They
20:40 might be, but I don't think they're
20:42 buried here. There are two crosses put
20:45 up, but vandals, people who have come
20:48 out here may have stolen them. I've also
20:51 read some things online that people will
20:53 take bricks, especially from the burned
20:57 down manor, cabin, home, if you will,
21:02 and take them with you. So a lot of
21:03 people may have taken those who are
21:05 really into the subject matter. With the
21:08 internet the way it is, a lot of things
21:10 become cult classics,
21:13 storylines, tales of horror, tales of
21:17 woe, tales of
21:19 creepiness, and real life tales. Life is
21:24 amazing. It's full of wonder. It's full
21:26 of excitement. And it's full of a lot of
21:28 goodness. But it also has a lot of evil
21:32 and a lot of really bad things in the
21:35 world. And one of those bad things
21:37 happened right over there. But there is
21:39 a ray of light shining through the
21:42 trees. Goodness will prevail even though
21:47 badness and evil is prominent in the
21:50 world. And this is proof of it.
21:55 different kind of vlog, little bit
21:57 different story line than my normal
21:59 vlogs. If you're new to this channel, I
22:02 encourage you to subscribe and watch my
22:04 other videos. In fact, you can see by
22:06 looking down below, you can actually see
22:08 where I was one year ago and two years
22:11 ago. Sometimes I go to roadside
22:12 attractions, wacky wonderful things,
22:15 weird objects. I go to abandoned places,
22:19 horror film movie locations, new movie
22:22 locations, creepy, weird subjects that
22:25 we probably shouldn't talk about, a
22:28 little bit of everything. I keep it all
22:30 familyfriendly and clean. Try to keep
22:32 the profanity down. It's not always
22:34 rated G, but it is, I assure you, always
22:37 PG. So, feel free to watch it not only
22:40 with your kids, with your family. Maybe
22:41 not this one. Maybe you chose not to
22:44 show this one to your kids, but normally
22:46 you can watch these. I hope you
22:48 subscribe. Hope you tell your friends. I
22:50 travel around. I have not missed an
22:51 upload yet in about two and a half
22:54 years. Slobbering at the mouth because
22:56 I'm so excited about this channel, what
23:00 it is doing, not only for you, but for
23:02 me. Even though I'm sharing things with
23:04 you, you guys are sharing things with
23:06 me. People always ask, "How do you find
23:08 this stuff?" A few different ways.
23:10 Either I look online and I read where I
23:12 am in the area I am or I have something
23:14 that is in my life that I res remember
23:17 from back in the day. It's a childhood
23:19 memory or something I've always been
23:20 interested in or someone online or
23:25 someone I know in person normally online
23:27 will leave some comments or get a hold
23:29 of me and say, "Hey, check this out." I
23:31 can't check every place out that you
23:32 guys want me to see because there's only
23:35 so many days in my lifetime. But I do
23:38 pick and choose and I do find some
23:40 pretty good places and they're getting
23:43 better. The more people that are
23:44 watching me, the more ideas you have,
23:47 the more wonderful things I can actually
23:49 go and visit. So, don't be shy about
23:51 getting a hold of
23:53 me. Look at this. Walk, look,
23:56 look. This says go
23:59 back. Go back.
24:09 I wish I would have seen that at first
24:09 because I might not have ever gone in
24:11 there. What do you guys think of this
24:13 vlog? What do you think of this subject
24:15 matter? What do you think of my approach
24:18 on delivering this sort of information?
24:21 What do you think of these unedited
24:23 vlogs? My other channel, the Adam Woo
24:25 channel, is edited. There's a lot of lot
24:27 more factual factchecking that I do
24:30 where this one is kind of off the cuff.
24:32 And I love the uneditedness of it
24:34 because you never know what you're going
24:35 to find, what you're going to stumble
24:38 across, like these
24:41 logs and who you're going to run into.
24:43 If someone was to just pop out of the
24:45 woods, you would witness that. This that
24:47 would not be edited out. So, what do you
24:50 guys think of the two channels? This
24:52 channel versus the other channel. I'm
24:54 rambling on because I don't want to let
24:57 you guys go because I actually feel
24:59 comfortable when you guys are with me
25:01 because I'm out here in the middle of
25:03 nowhere. Look at this. I honestly do not
25:06 want to say goodbye
25:09 yet cuz then I'll be all alone. And who
25:12 wants to be all alone out here in the
25:15 middle of the
25:17 woods? I'm parked about a mile from
25:19 here. So have a long
25:44 walk. I actually don't remember which
25:44 way I came in.
26:02 The path goes up this way, but that
26:02 leads back to the manor. So, actually, I
26:06 would be backtracking if I went that
26:07 way. But I seem to remember a path that
26:10 went down the mountain, but I'm not
26:12 seeing it
26:14 now. All
26:35 here. Sorry for the long winded vlog. I
26:35 know we're 26 minutes in. Oh my gosh,
26:37 there's a huge bug. Whoa, whoa, whoa.
26:40 Look at this. Look, I caught him.
26:46 He's He's
26:46 dead. He was trying to suck your blood
26:49 blood,
26:51 sir. Man, hopefully no one leaves a
26:54 comment about me killing a
26:57 bug. I believe in life for all
26:59 creatures, but when a
27:01 blood when a blood a blood sucking bug
27:05 is attacking you, ma'am, I have to do my
27:08 duty. I have to grab that bug, squish
27:13 him, and it's time to squash this vlog.
27:15 We've gone on too long. I'll see you
27:17 guys tomorrow. Hopefully I get this vlog
27:19 uploaded today. And I see you tomorrow.
27:22 And the way you can do that, the way you
27:23 can see me tomorrow is not getting
27:26 annihilated by blood sucking mosquitoes
27:29 out here at a haunted
27:36 location, but by subscribing. Tell your
27:36 friends, tell your family, tell your
27:39 enemies. There's room for everyone here
27:41 on the Daily Woo channel. Have a great
27:43 day. Have a great weekend. And I love
27:45 you guys for real. Bye.
